Melissa was the wedding coordinator for my sons wedding on 8/6/2022. Melissa was amazing! Before the wedding she helped with a detailed time line for vendors, to dos etc. She ran the rehearsal which was much needed. The day of the wedding went off perfectly! Set up, take down, clean up and helping manage a few quests…she did it all!! We can not thank her enough!! Highly recommend 🙂

Melissa was extremely helpful in all ways you would need on your wedding day. I was able to relax and enjoy my day without having to worry about making sure things ran smoothly. She coordinated with vendors as they showed up and helped them get everything in its rightful place. I could not have asked for anyone better, she was absolutely amazing!

I personally have never hired Melissa but I have been to plenty of the parties shes planned and can tell you there is no one more professional, understanding, supportive, and determined to make your event everything you’ve dreamed of and more. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an event planner, never been to a party as much fun and flow so easily as Melissa’s! 10/10 service!

Little Blue Bird Events is amazing! Melissa was a such pleasure to work with and from beginning to end. She was organized and attentive and is very insightful. She gave awesome suggestions regarding décor and meshed so well with our vendor team! Melissa and her assistants were very professional and so fun to work with! Our wedding party loved them! On the day of the wedding, we were so busy getting pulled back and forth for family pictures that she saved a plate of appetizers and boba for each of us to ensure that we were well fed! Her professionalism and enthusiasm was above and beyond our expectations as she helped direct our extensive guest list of 230 people to their seats during ceremony and reception. Furthermore, she was constantly communicating with our vendors so we could have a stress-free day. We had misplaced our cake topper during the morning chaos and Melissa somehow found it amongst the craziness! We couldn’t have done it without her and would absolutely recommend Melissa to make your entire wedding planning process an amazing and smooth experience and for your special day be perfect. Our day was the best day ever! We love her!

Melissa is more than just an event planner and coordinator… she’s a creative , passionate and dedicated BOSS!! She never fails to get stuff done seamlessly, efficiently and her work is consistently amazing. As a cosmetologist , I’ve has the pleasure of working with Melissa and other related vendors, behind the scenes , and it’s always a honor. The Brides, Grooms and fellow wedding parties are always extremely pleased and well taken care of when it comes to Melissa and her work. Weddings are a very big deal, and take a lot of responsibility, by hiring Melissa, you will never have to doubt your wedding will be an absolute dream ✨

I hate writing negative reviews but I feel responsible to warn other brides that I had a really disappointing and stressful experience with Melissa. Our first meeting and contract was proming, but she failed to deliver on many if the things we agreed to in writing. In addition, 2 days before our wedding, she sprung a surprise cost on us to hire her teenage son as an "assistant" for 5 hours of the day. We had agreed to hire him to help with daycare for 3 hours at her recommendation. She mentioned in passing that she wanted to train him to help with events so it would be helpful to have him there and assist her with other things. When she asked for twice the rate we agreed to for him, we told her that was not in the contract and had never been raised by her before. She admitted this and wrote "it was negligent on my part" and then apologized for not telling us the rate sooner, but insisted we pay him that rate or he would not provide childcare. So she sent us a new contract she wrote 2 days before the wedding. We didnt have the time or energy to find anyone else for childcare in the middle of our family wedding activities that already began so we just agreed to a new contract with her son as an "assistant" but we felt totally scammed. The day of the wedding, her first communication was that she needed us to venmo her the extra amount and "take care of that asap." At the wedding itself, she never even let us know when she arrived and we ended up doing most of the coordination with vendors. Things were incredibly awkward with her and her son. We still had a great wedding, but I wish we didn't have to go through the stress Melissa caused us. I hope to save anyone else this trouble by sharing this story!
