Little Point Clear suites & space Fairhope, Alabama

would leave calm. Fast forward to wedding day and again Noelle was there making my daughter's vision happen and asking me what I needed. The venue is beautiful but just looking at it does not do it justice. When it is your moment and all that you have envisioned comes to life.......this venue becomes like something in a fairy tail.

stay in the night of the wedding, which made everything so convenient. The getting-ready areas were beautiful, and the restrooms were clean and nice for guests. There was also great parking, which was a big plus. The team was generally helpful, especially when it came to packing up at the end of the night. The rain plan for the reception was also helpful and allowed us to keep the celebration going when it started raining. Cons: Unfortunately, there were several communication and coordination issues that were disappointing. The biggest issue was the loss of a family heirloom place setting. We had specifically told our wedding coordinator beforehand that these items were special and sentimental. During cleanup, one shell napkin holder and the vintage cloth napkin that went with that place setting were lost. These weren’t cheap wedding décor; they were family heirlooms that cannot be replaced. It was incredibly upsetting, and I feel the Point Clear team needed to communicate much better amongst themselves about which items were personal and needed to be handled carefully. Even the shell napkin holders were placed in with the decorative shells rather than being treated as individual items. That made me especially nervous about how our personal belongings were being handled. In hindsight, I personally would rather have packed everything myself after the wedding than have things packed quickly and carelessly at the end of the night. (Thrown into boxes)  I also would have appreciated more proactive problem-solving from the coordination team throughout the wedding day. There were several moments where I felt like I, as the bride, was having to notice and solve things that I really shouldn’t have had to think about on my wedding day. For example, when we started taking photos outside, I would have appreciated the flowers being moved outside earlier so they were already there and ready for photos. There were also issues with the buffet where more than one door needed to be opened, which required some problem-solving in the moment. At one point, cigarette smoke was also starting to make its way toward the reception, and I ultimately had to have people moved because of the smell. As a bride, these are exactly the kinds of things you don’t want to be worrying about or coordinating yourself on your wedding day. I understand that unexpected things happen, but I would have appreciated the coordinator being more proactive about noticing these issues and finding solutions before they became something I had to address. There was also an issue with someone being allowed up to my room while I was getting ready, despite specifically saying that I did not want anyone let up to the room. The person who was allowed up was also wearing white, which was particularly frustrating on my wedding day. The rain plan itself was good, but I believe it should have been implemented sooner. The coordinator said she knew it was going to rain, but my parasols were still left outside and ended up being destroyed. Earlier action could have prevented that. Overall, I truly loved the venue itself and its setting, and I think it is a beautiful place for an intimate coastal wedding.

tables around so we wouldn’t be in the rain! I also looked in the reception space and saw Alexandria steaming my tablecloths that I didn’t think about ironing just so I could have the tablecloths I picked. They transported the grooms to and from the venue, which meant they could enjoy the wedding to the fullest! The bridesmaids and I stayed at the venue and it was the perfect room and allowed for us to have the space for whatever we needed. The venue is absolutely beautiful and my husband and I are still talking about how great the people are! I would definitely recommend booking here as it makes for a relaxing wedding day! (plus we got to drive off in the cutest car!)
