for your big day. I try my best to make every couple’s wedding even better than they imagined, so I don’t take this review lightly. I spoke with you that night and was grateful for how understanding and nice you and your new husband were about what had happened with the setup. Unfortunately, there were several unforeseen circumstances at the venue that affected how we were able to provide our services. I found out when I arrived at the venue that the way to load in our things was through underground tunnels that were extremely long with turns, ramps, and ceilings that got low in areas with exposed pipes. It took us at least twice as long to load into the venue space and we had issues with our rentals almost being damaged while trying to load in due to ramps and how these tunnels were. I asked about the width of the gazebo to determine what would be needed for greenery and florals. However, when I arrived at setup, I was shocked to find out the gazebo was about 20 ft in the air with a large head table set up directly below the entire gazebo on carpeted unstable floor. I had a ladder with me that I use for all my gazebo installs and it did not even come close to being tall enough. We spoke with someone at the venue and asked if we would be able to use a 20ft+ tall ladder they had on site and they informed us we could, but we would need to go back through the underground tunnels to security to sign waivers prior. Once I had the waiver signed, I was still going to try to pull off the gazebo install until I was on the 20’ ladder on carpet with a swaying ladder over a fully set head table. I realized that I would not be able to do my floral installation without hurting myself or falling through their head table below since I could not even reach the gazebo with my arm fully extended on the ladder provided by the venue. I had also agreed to put the table runners on her tables for free to help her out. The tables were all fully set, so every table needed to be broken down to place the runners on her guest tables. The venue staff on site told me her guests would be arriving at her reception time but failed to mention that her guests would be overlooking the space at a bar above for cocktail hour. This is when two of her family members asked to help with the table runners that I was doing for her as a favor. I am sorry that you were disappointed that your gazebo was not decorated, but I made your big day as beautiful as I could given the circumstances. I apologize again and wish you and your husband all the best in the future!
