wedding. Highly recommend for seamless wedding transportation!
Easy to work with and responsive to questions in the build-up to our event. Our venue had very specific weight restrictions for the entry driveway, and LMofB was prepared to handle...
all permutations, letting us know what vehicles in their fleet would or would not meet those specifications.
On the day, the drivers were on time, courteous, and professional, and the buses/shuttles were immaculately clean.
Hiring Local Motion as our mode of transportation for us and our guests was a mistake. First off, I never received the drivers information at any point during the week of my weddin...
g, which I was told I would. Secondly, when I had booked, I was told it was an unlimited amount of rides back and forth between venue and hotel. Although this was the case, the driver gave me an extremely hard time about an extra ride I wanted to add in to also take the groomsmen to the venue. The driver had such a bad attitude that he said “it says 2 rides. I’ll do whatever you want because it’s your wedding but it says 2 rides.” Then after dropping off me and my bridesmaids he proceeds to say “do the boys know I’m coming? Will they be ready? They better be ready by the time I get there, it’s a 20 minute ride.” When going back to the hotel to get the boys, he tried to take the guests over before my husband and groomsmen, which my husband, father and FIL told him no, the boys needed to go first. When I originally booked the bus, I asked for a wheelchair accessible one, as our best man is in a wheelchair. Well, the day comes and he goes on the ramp and gets stuck 6’ in the air for 20-30 minutes. My wedding coordinator had called Local Motion dispatch and found out that the driver never checked in with them, nor did he report that there were issues with the ramp on the bus. Now, my husband’s cousin had to get on the bus and piggy back our best man off and someone else had to go on and get the wheelchair. All of the groomsmen and guests ended up driving and no one took the bus after the girls. The whole issue caused our wedding to run late, caused us to miss out on pictures of the 2 of us as well as with family.
Fast forward 2 days later, I called Local Motion to discuss our experience with someone. They had to talk to a manager and would call me back but never did until I called back the following day. From what I was told by the supervisor on the phone, the driver did check in but there were no issues with the ramp. I’m not sure which to believe because I was told 2 conflicting stories… he didn’t check in and check his equipment then he did and the equipment was fine. I’d say definitely take caution when looking into this company, as you don’t 100% know what you’re going to get..
We used Local Motion for our wedding and worked with Jessica. I didn't have to worry about a thing when it came to the shuttle, and our guests were all taken care of. They arrived ...
on time and were able to get home safely. They made things easy!
I worked with Bruce at Local Motion for my daughter's wedding. We needed transportation from the hotel to the wedding venue.
There was a very short window of time between the ...
hotel check-in time and the ceremony start time and Bruce was very knowledgeable on the exact timing we needed for the busses, how many vehicles we would need for that short window and everything he suggested worked perfectly.
He was truly amazing to work with and he made this part of the wedding planning very easy and stress free for me.
The drivers the night of the wedding were professional and very nice to our guests.
I highly recommend Local Motion!

Our experience with locomotion was fantastic! Their price point was awesome, they were prompt on the day of the wedding, and they even went by our venue the day before to check the...
route. Our driver, Bob I believe, was unreal! He dealt with 200 rowdy guests. I would highly recommend them. The inside of the bus was clean and comfortable.
There are so many options for transportation it can be super overwhelming. Local Motion gave the best pricing and their customer service team was amazing to work with. The drivers...
were very nice and professional. We got two 30 person coach buses and were very clean and nice!! They did exactly what we needed them to do and everything ran on time. They kept our guests safe and happy!!

licated itinerary without any hassle whatsoever. Lisa and her team were communicative both before and after we signed the contract, including when the hotel requested that the bus park on a side street rather than at the front door. On the day of the wedding, the bus showed up on time and followed our requested itinerary without any problems. In addition, one of our guests left her phone and ID on the bus and we were able to retrieve them pretty easily after the event was over. We would absolutely recommend them for your wedding or similar event in the Boston area. Also nb though the quoted price was a bit higher than some others, it does include driver gratuity. Thanks Local Motion!
Very easy to work with and set up transportation for our wedding. Spoke with Bruce over the phone, and once everything was set up, there was nothing to worry about. Everything we...
nt so well!
My wife and I used Local Motion of Boston as our transportation vendor for our wedding. We had an excellent experience with them and would highly recommend their service. We rented...
a school bus to shuttle our guests from the hotel to the venue and back at the end of the night. Our driver was excellent. The bus arrived early to the hotel and shuttled our guests promptly to our venue. At the end of the night the bus again was right on time to shuttle guests safely to the hotel. The booking process was very straightforward and the reservations agent was very responsive with quotes for the bus. We felt that Local Motion was one of the most reasonably priced operators in the area.
We used them for our wedding transportation and it worked out perfectly! On-time, clean, and affordable! Cannot thank them enough!
We had a great experience with Local Motion, which provided a yellow school bus for guest transportation for our wedding in September. They were easy and professional to work with...
(they like to handle details over the phone, and then would email write-ups of what we agreed to). Our driver was very professional, on time, and everything went very smoothly! Was MUCH more affordable than other bus options (e.g. coach) and worked great. Highly recommend!
The shuttling service that Local Motion provided for our wedding, along with the friendliness of the drivers was absolutely 100% perfect. They had a pretty complicated and tight s...
chedule (through labor day weekend traffic none the less). They were early or on time at every point and the driver was so pleasant and calm. We had a guest vomit on the bus on the way home ( yeah i know... ) but they were so nice and did not charge me the full cleaning fee the they easily could have. the ONLY reason that I am not giving them a 5 is because they are not very responsive via email... the process of scheduling, calling and discussing the plan was not as smooth as I would have liked as a stressed out bride. They may not respond to your emails, but I urge you to CALL them .. they did a really really great job and I am SO happy we went with them.
Our experience with Local Motion of Boston was ok. We hired a van to take the wedding party to the event and two big coach buses to transport guests to/from the hotel (in Harvard S...
quare) and wedding reception venue (the Charles River Museum in Waltham). All the buses were on time and the drivers were friendly. Our biggest complaint is despite providing the correct address to drop folks off in Waltham--and having our wedding coordinator confirm on the day of--2 of our 3 drivers went rouge and dropped guests at not quite the same place. Everything turned out fine, but it was extra work to make sure people knew where to go at the end of the night.
Local Motion did the transportation for our wedding and did a great job! We had a lot of instructions for both the rehearsal dinner and our wedding and they followed them all perfe...
ctly. They even had a call with me three days before the wedding to go over them all again. I would recommend them as wedding transportation to anyone!
Local Motion is the cheapest when it comes to bus rentals, I've used them for work related transportation in the past. It was a bit stressful to work with them because they had a b...
ack log and were not as quick about responding as I would have liked, but everything worked fine in the end. The best part of this service is that they let you use a credit card to pay.

nd arrived on time. I would definitely recommend Local Motion of Boston to brides and grooms looking for reasonably priced and and reliable transportation for their guests.
Local motion was easy to work with, prices were within my budget and most importantly everyone arrived safely and on time!

y, for all phases of transportation. The driver knew exactly where we were going and was very professional. We had two different busses (one of the girls and one for the boys) and the bus for the boys even stopped part way to the venue so they could take some pictures. Very accommodating!!! We also had a van for our wedding guests at the end of the night and he was fabulous also. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience!!!
We used two buses to bring our guests to and from the wedding reception and the hotel. Everything went smoothly and the drivers were able to deal with rowdy guests on the way back....
Not cheap, but nothing to complain about!

s and understand options was very easy and pleasant. and we were very happy with the day of result. there was a small snafu with the coaches not pulling up to the hotel entrance on time, but we had one of our friends on point to coordinate and it worked out fine.
We hired them for transportation for our guests - to and from venue/hotel. They were very timely and I heard the drive was a trooper for the late night ride back to the hotel with...

nitely recommend.
They were really easy to do business with, except on the day of the wedding, they showed up to the hotel over 1/2 hour late (when promising to be there 1/2 hour early), so that 90%...
of my guests were late to my ceremony. As a result, we had to push back the ceremony and that ate into our reception time. Kind of a bummer.
We rented a school bus to drive guests from 2 hotels to the ceremony/reception venue. While it was difficult to contact the vendor originally (calls to various offices sent us on ...
a wild-goose-chase), once we had a specific contact at the company the rental ran much more smoothly. The bus arrived on time and guests had a blast riding on a school bus.
