communication and zero email response after we reached out x3 following our day (from which I just hoped for any kind of apology and did not plan to leave a bad review or mention our issues in the CT wedding groups hoping it was just a one off and we were caught in the transition of companies). Incredibly disappointed. Of note, they were on the preferred catering list for our venue and the venue manager was also incredibly apologetic as had not had these issues prior but we worked to hire a last minute day of coordinator and luckily the rest of our vendors held it together and made the day run as smooth as possible.

d a coordinator from 4 pm-midnight, their food truck had a fire and didn't serve dinner and they didn't think they should help us get our guests fed. The owner was unsympathetic, unresponsive, and didn't follow through with the solution they agreed upon.  We hired Loco Catering/Taco Loco for our entire wedding, bartending, apps, dinner(tacos), and churros for dessert. It was great at first until unfortunately before dinner, there was a fire in the food truck, and therefore only 2 people received dinner. My brother-in-law was the one who saw the fire and he said the staff did not know what to do about the fire. Whether it was because of a lack of training or just being shell-shocked, he had to tell the staff how to use a fire extinguisher and what they should do.  Our priority was to make sure everyone was safe. The fireman came and everything was put out. Once everything was fine, it was clear that Loco didn't think they should help us figure out a plan for dinner. We thought they would try to get food from their other food truck or the Hops Company where they sell their food, maybe call a restaurant they know in the area that might help us, go to the store to pick up some food, or at least recommend a restaurant to order from. But none of that happened.  When you advertise that you are a premier wedding caterer and all the bride and groom need to do is sit back and relax for your wedding, one would expect that company to help figure out a plan. When you also paid to have a "captain" at your wedding from 4 pm to midnight, to oversee the wedding and make sure things run smoothly, you expect them to help you figure out a plan to feed 100 guests. None of this happened, the captain was sent home, so unfortunately the fireman recommended a pizza place that we ordered from. That place was amazing to us with the short notice. But understandably, the food didn't arrive until a half hour before our wedding ended. Many of our guests left and our schedule got completely shifted with many of our planned things not occurring. The bartenders did stay and told us the owner of the company would talk to us later about the bill. At this point, they had a check from us for the remaining balance. We had only paid the $1,000 deposit.  We did not hear from Loco until 5 days after the wedding. No apology email or call. I then received a call from the owner, Zachary Tomasio saying he hadn't heard from us, and the night of the wedding, he told my husband to call him (which my husband does not recall). When we did call him back, he was not apologetic, and it was clear that he just wanted to figure out the bill. There was not even a thank you or acknowledgment that my brother-in-law helped the staff. He said people liked the apps, so that could stay on our bill, and bartending was good too. We were in shock this call didn't start with an apology and acknowledgment that this wrecked our wedding. We started saying since we hired the catering company for the entire wedding and hired a captain to oversee that the wedding went smoothly, we were surprised that they didn't help us try to feed our guests dinner, of some sort, no matter what the food was. He said he was surprised we thought that and they felt like once the truck was compromised, they felt like they had no responsibility to try to help our guests get food. He could tell we were upset and then started asking us "Well, what do you want?" I couldn't believe a company that talks about amazing customer service didn't have a solution to offer us. I asked him "If this was your wedding, what would you want?" Instead of answering, he just asked what we wanted instead. It was clear that for both of us, this conversation didn't go as expected. I suggested we both think about what a proper solution would be and resume the conversation later.  Since they were a recommended vendor from our venue, we let them know about the situation and asked them what they thought an appropriate solution should be. The venue was very disappointed in hearing all this. They don't normally get involved with vendor/client issues, but this did in the case since it was so extreme. They were kind enough to email the owner, Zach, and suggest if they were me, the bill would be canceled and I should receive my deposit back. He didn't respond and after a week I reached out to our venue again to let them know he didn't respond. They then reached out again and we finally responded to let them know he was out of the country, but he did agree to cancel the balance and asked for my address to return the deposit. I emailed him and sent him my info. After a bit of time, I emailed them again to let them know that the deposit never came and received no response. Of course, I never expected to get that deposit back, but again, it's just extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Since then, we have received two emails from the company asking us to give them reviews on wedding sites, so here it is! We still view our wedding as the best day. Most of our guests were understanding and many stayed for the entire night to celebrate with us and waited for the food to come and we had some amazing pizza. However many guests left and many things on our schedule got canceled. Your wedding is supposed to be the greatest day of your life and I would never want another couple to go through what we went through with this company. I know they have wonderful reviews, which is why we hired them. But if something goes wrong, they will not be there for you. Mistakes and accidents, we understand. But overall, it was the unsympathetic owner, Zach, and the lack of accountability or apology that truly disappointed us and made us want to tell people to avoid this company. There are many more caterers who understand how important weddings are and would be there to help their clients. 

vision. The staff was professional, friendly, and made setup easy. The food was incredible—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Guests are still raving about the tacos, enchiladas, and refreshing aguas frescas! I highly recommend Hector and his team for anyone seeking delicious Mexican cuisine and outstanding service. Multiple people went up for seconds and thirds. Couldn’t recommend this company more. I received a call earlier in the week that there were some complications with the taco truck, but Hector called me personally immediately and everything actually ended up better than we anticipated if the truck had been there! Our guests loved that the guys were cooking outside in the tent as it made everything more interactive!

Even the hors d'oeuvres for our cocktail hour were delicious. We did not get married at a venue and instead brought the feeling of a venue to a family members property. Zach ensured us that his team would handle everything with ease, and that is exactly what they did! Couldn't have been happier with their service.

After debating we decided to have them do everything so we booker the full bar service and butler for the evening. The day of the wedding they got lost but so did a few of our guests so def no fault of theirs! They were so apologetic when they arrived and hustled to have everything set up on time. The appetizers were delicious, the tacos everyone raved about! I was worried there would be a line once they started serving but they kept the guests moving. The bar service was awesome! They were super nice, made great drinks and had my fav beer ready for me everytime I walked up to them. I would highly recommend using them for your wedding!

our quickly and were super friendly. Food was delicious-many kinds of soft tacos and 3 kinds of margaritas. The only complaints is there could’ve been more alcohol in drinks. Drinks were homemade and so were the tacos. They offered steak, mahi mahi, vegetarian and a few more kinds. Guacamole was fresh and so was salsa. They stayed the whole 2 hours they were hired for and cleaned up after themselves. We didn’t have to do any clean up, garbage, etc. highly recommend. Shout out to Alex and Larry! Great job!

rmally only come with real caterers. That was not the case! It was truly the best of both worlds. Zachary was responsive and helpful over email and we quickly set up a tasting, which needed up being private. We felt like VIPs! We got to try all of the delicious food we were choosing from and have drinks made for us while we ate. It was so fun. Hector was the “Captain” on our wedding day and he continued the VIP service. He came up to my husband and I personally and asked what we wanted, and meet us our own platter of food to make sure we ate. Everyone loved the food trucks, they were so cool and fun and nobody had to wait around for food. We got SO many compliments! The property where we had the wedding was pretty challenging but Loco made it work and made such a huge positive difference on our day. You will not be disappointed!

We did the taco and the bbq truck and heard such wonderful things from our guests! . When we went for our tasting Zachary was extremely accommodating and helpful, walking us through the process of something we were very unfamiliar with. He even offered assistance and advance relating to other aspects of the wedding day. During the wedding Hector was on site to make sure everything ran smoothly. He was great to work with, we did not have to worry about anything that day and were able to fully enjoy the experience. To this day our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was! We are so happy with our choice and highly recommend !

Zach and his team were punctual, professional, and so great to work with. We knew they had everything under control and once we booked we didn’t have to worry. As a wedding planner who mainly does backyard weddings, this was the fastest food truck service I have encountered and all the guests were very happy with their dinner. We also utilized them for their bar services, we had 2 bars that barely had lines at them throughout the night and the bartenders were just as joyful as the catering team. I do recommend them to current clients of mine and I do recommend them to you too!

the timeline and day as a whole went smoothly. We really enjoyed the opportunity to taste the food ahead of time too! We hired bartenders and butlers who went above and beyond to make sure our guests always had food to eat, and a drink in their hand!

Finally, there was an abundance of extra food leftover and it would have been devoured if dropped inside the venue. I would have been happy organizing a trip out to the truck for any extra food that was paid for and cooked for the group of 50. Again, the little bit of food that we did consume was delicious, the truck was prompt and I would recommend this business to your next event.
