Log House Garden at Willow Lake

This venue was amazing and so beautiful! The number one thing I heard from guests was that the venue was so pretty. The venue made taking wedding photos so easy since there were so many options of backgrounds and foliage. It is also so convenient in having two different areas for the ceremony and a tented area for the reception.

I LOVE this venue, and I would love to give it 5 stars, but I have to say I was a bit upset with a few things. As we were setting up we constantly had one of the owners spying on us and telling us dos and don'ts. We already knew what we could and couldn't do and we respected each wish. However, he went on to tell us again. We didn't have alcohol at our wedding, so we brought in sparkling cider for toasts. The gentleman had to come out and double check that it was indeed sparkling cider and not champagne. In fact he made an appearance so often, that he can actually be seen in a few of my wedding pictures :( I find that just rude. We paid for the venue and paid to have a million dollar insurance policy on the place, and it was like we were babysat the whole time. Other than that though this place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! In fact it's so beautiful that you really don't need much for decorations, just a few nice touches here and there to make it yours. The lady is great to work with and very helpful during rehearsal (if you need it). I would recommend this place hands down, just be aware that you may have an extra guest that day.

I want to say a huge thank you to John and Lanora, what amazing people you are! This venue is beautiful with a perfect mixture of outdoor and rustic beauty. John and Lanora strive to make sure the day is perfect for the couple and pay special attention to all the details. They are great down to earth people who definitely made my day special. I highly recommend them to anybody looking to get married , the location and their help made my day fantastic.
