I would NOT have changed even the tiniest little thing! Our memories from that weekend at The Lone Star Mansion will last a lifetime. And, not just for Jeff and I, but for our families and guests. Our wedding was perfect! The Lone Star Mansion ...itself is historic, AMAZINGLY beautiful, comfortable, homey, welcoming, serene, and literally breath-taking.
We were married there in 2005, and to this very day, our friends and families talk about the venue, the ceremony, and the reception. Our guests still describe our wedding as "unbelievable", "perfect", "a blast", "the best wedding they have ever been to or even heard about", and so on. We all had the time of our lives! When we think back on the days prior to our wedding, the day of the wedding, and the day following, we can't help but smile and get tears in our eyes.
The Lone Star Mansion staff members were very real, honest, professional, friendly, and fun. Our coordinator was spectacular, our planner was brilliant, and our minister was fabulous. Plus, the food was delicious, and the entertainment was phenomenal! We were married at age 27 and had both been to numerous weddings prior to ours and have continued to attend wedding after wedding as guests or as part of the wedding party. And, not even one of these weddings came within shades of ours in terms of overall goodness.
As I write this review, I am worried that my words sound boastful, but I cannot take any credit. And, although it may be tempting to assume that Jeff and I are just partial, I can promise you that is not the case. Our wedding was not only incredibly special because of the meaning of the day itself, it was remarkable because of Lone Star Mansion!
A GREAT BIG Thank you to Patricia, Sue, Katoya, Marty, Vince, and many other extraordinary professionals for making that day in June so marvelous, so memorable, and so profound!
Sincerely,
Wendy & Jeff
