Longue Vue Club

Longue Vue Club was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding reception! The stone archways were breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for our pictures. Tessa was fantastic to work with and was so flexible with any request we had! The food was great, and our guests raved about how much fun they had. I couldn't be happier and would recommend Longue Vue Club a hundred times over for your special day!!!

I can not say one bad thing about Longue Vue Club. It is the PERFECT wedding venue. First, Tessa, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Tessa was the best, completely on top of everything. Any question you had for her, she had an answer. My mom called frequently and she was always so helpful answering the questions my mom had. We even had our officiant pull out 3 months before the wedding and Tessa gave us some options. Tessa even ran our rehearsal which I was so grateful for. Tessa made sure we had the perfect day. I was overly organized and had a specific vision and Tessa and her team created the exact vision I had. This venue has EVERYTHING you need!! Tessa and team set up and tear down everything. You do not have to lift a finger which is AMAZING!!! There are rooms for the girls and guys to get ready in. It is truly so nice to just be in one location all day and not have to move. The patio has such an intimate feel for the ceremony. Even the back up option (which we almost had to do) in the living room has such an amazing feel and aesthetic. We got so many compliments on the food and bar. The food... WOW. Many people said it was the BEST STEAK EVER. The bartenders went above and beyond making mules, old fashions, manhattans, fruity cocktails. It was not just simple mix drinks and beer/wine. We got so many compliments on the variety of drinks they would make!! The venue itself WOW!!! As we walked around to each table and greeted guest, everyone asked how we found this venue. It is definitely a hidden gem of Pittsburgh!! You drive up on the long driveway to the jaw dropping castle like venue. It you want a jaw dropping venue this is it! The inside is classic, romantic and elegant. The tunnels, the stone steps, the hills of the golf course create elegant back drops for pictures!! One of my guest said the top 4 things for the wedding were perfect, Venue, Food, Bar and DJ. 3/4 are all Longue Vue. We even extended the wedding an hour and asked for late night snacks 10 days before. NO PROBLEM for Tessa and Team. Also, price per plate when you initially inquire includes service fee and tax. So there are no hidden costs AT ALL. Considering the price per plate includes food, alcohol, service fee and tax, linens, chavier chairs (because all us girls want them), set up, tear down, a coordinator (Tessa), rooms for Bride/Groom to get ready. Plus more, I mean it is a steal! Thank you Tessa, Longue Vue and Team for everything!!

We cannot speak highly enough of Longue Vue. My husband and I have been members there for 2 years, got engaged on the golf course and made the very easy decision to get married there. From the moment we decided on Longue Vue, it was the easiest process leading up to the wedding. We give all of our praise to the wedding coordinator, Pam Bostwick. We cannot put into words how amazing she is. She made the process (especially during COVID) so fun and easy. She listens to your visions and brings them to life. If you have the chance to work with Pam, you won't regret it! My bridesmaids met her the morning of the wedding and by the time we were getting ready to walk down the aisle, the girls were asking if Pam could become a bridesmaid. That just explains how AWESOME she is. Longue Vue was hands down the best and easiest decision we made during our engagement.

We cannot say enough great things or give Longue Vue enough stars! This venue was absolutely amazing to work with and made our day more special than we could ever imagine. We are not members at the club, but from the day we met with Pam Bostwick (wedding coordinator), we felt so welcomed. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and guided us through all of the details and planning and was there on our wedding day to ensure that everything was perfect. Planning a wedding has its challenges to begin with and adding a Pandemic made it that much more challenging. Longue Vue remained up front, open and willing to work with us to make all of the necessary adjustments to make our day perfect. Every single staff member was helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make our day amazing, as well as every visit leading up to our day. Aside from the wonderful staff, the grounds are absolutely beautiful. We would recommend this venue for any event, and are already looking for ways to return in the future! I would not hesitate to recommend Longue Vue Club to family or friends for a wedding venue, though with the sheer volume of compliments we received on the venue from everyone in attendance at the wedding, I think it’s safe to say my recommendation would be superfluous – it has already recommended itself. Longue Vue is absolutely beautiful from the ceremony and reception areas to the views (our pictures on the golf course were incredible!). While I don’t want to undersell how gorgeous the grounds and buildings are – and I especially don’t want to undersell the food, because that was another aspect topping the “what I got compliments on” list – none of that is the number one reason I would recommend Longue Vue to anyone. The number one reason I would recommend Longue Vue, even with all the other attractive selling points, is the people – all the staff I came in contact with and, most especially, Pam and Tessa, the event coordinators. I had the pleasure of working with Pam throughout my planning process and had the opportunity to meet and work with Tessa during the rehearsal and wedding itself. Any bride would be lucky to have either of these women helping in the planning process. While it is no secret that wedding planning is a stressful activity, I think it is safe to say that this wedding season has, hands down, been the most difficult since the last World War. While Pam made it clear that we had the option to postpone without losing our deposit, which is an honest policy that is not being offered by all wedding venues, we chose to keep our original date. Together, Pam and I re-planned my wedding about three times (the final time being the night of the rehearsal dinner) to adjust for the fun, new guidance and restrictions put out weekly (sometimes with as much as two days’ notice!) by Allegheny County. The entire team went to extraordinary lengths to make sure that we had the best day possible, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Tessa was fantastic and made our wedding day stressfree. She was very organized, trustworthy, and accommodating to our requests. We got rain during the ceremony time, but her team immediately set up the ballroom for the ceremony, and it turned out to be a stunning ceremony. The food was delicious, and every guest said nicely about it. The venue is gorgeous and makes our photos and videos fantastic. We recommend the venue to everyone who wishes to make their special day hugely successful.

Longue Vue Club is an amazing venue. The venue itself is picturesque. On top of that, the coordinators are amazing and so helpful, they know exactly what works. The food was to die for, all of my guests raved that it was the best food. The patio makes for an amazing outdoor ceremony option, with a beautiful indoor backup. I have absolutely 0 complaints, they were incredible

Longue Vue Club is definitely a favorite of mine, and it is always a pleasure to work with Hannah and the rest of her team. As a DJ (with Modern Era Weddings), I work with a lot of different venues and venue coordinators. Hannah is one of the best coordinators I've ever worked with in the 150+ weddings I've DJed. Her attentiveness to the bridal couple is unparalleled. She is very clearly a strong leader and has a great crew to back her up. Hannah is definitely someone you want to have on your team on your wedding day! She is super down to earth and keeps a cool head even in situations that would seemingly be stressful. The most recent wedding I worked at Longvue, the ceremony was supposed to be outside, but had to be moved inside due to rain. The staff was magically quick at resetting the ceremony in the ballroom, and the overall timeline for the day did not suffer. The waitstaff and bartenders are always courteous and friendly..and the food...WOW! The setup of the venue is perfect for the big day - having the ceremony and reception all in one location makes for a smoother day for the couple, their guests, and their vendors. The golf course provides great photo locations and guests get to enjoy a beautiful view. I can't thank Hannah enough for being such a great asset to the success of such an important day - she is always visible from the beginning to the end of the day and always has the answers to any questions I've had. Oftentimes, venue coordinators seem to disappear in the middle of the day which can make things tricky - not at Longue Vue! My daughter fell in love with Longue Vue Club the first time that she saw it. She felt that it was something out of storybook! The wedding coordinator, Hannah, was terrific to work with. She helped us to plan everything out just as we wanted it, down to every last detail. Our guests were very complimentary about how beautiful the place was and how great the food was! The level of service was outstanding! The beauty of the place and the grounds made for great backdrops for capturing beautiful photos to cherish!

Hannah, the events coordinator at Longue Vue, was so helpful and helped everything go as smoothly as we imagined it would be. She responded immediately to our questions and kept everything in order for us. The food tasted incredible- just like our tasting. The staff was very efficient and deli gent in cleaning up, organizing our things, and setting up for our ceremony and reception. A perfect venue!

First of all,let me say that we searched several venues in the Pittsburgh Area and none could compare to the beauty and value of Longue Vue Club! We were a little leary driving up the driveway, because of the beauty of the Castle like Clubhouse, we did not think it would be in our price range, but after sitting with the event coordinator, it seemed very reasonable with everything included in the Wedding Package price. Throughout the booking process, which was only a few meetings with the Coordinator and one with the Food and Beverage Director, our wedding was totally planned from the Ceremony to the Shuttles picking everyone up at the end. The service was spectacular as well as the food and dinner wines. I must say that we have been to several weddings and the dinner has never been served to a reception as timely as it was that night. Although the original Event Coordinator we booked with was no longer there, her replacement was just as accomodating if not more and it made our day that much more perfect. I am still hearing compliments from all of our guests about our wedding. I told everyone how easy it was to book everything and they were amazed. If you are planning to be married, I would call them as soon as you can because they book real fast, Hannah said they were almost full for 2015 and working on 2016 dates.

We loved the landscaping and the venue, but ran into some issues. The coordinator is nearly impossible to get ahold of. I emailed twice for a response before getting a generic email (much later) with wedding packages. Unfortunately, none of them were possible because of religious dietary restrictions. When I asked about options that don't include alcohol/pork, I was completely blown off and never heard from them again. Don't recommend!

I have not one complaint about having Longue Vue as my wedding venue. It was exactly what we were looking for... has character and beauty. The perfect setting! We had both the ceremony and reception inside at the end of November. It does have outside ceremony options and terraces available for use at other times of the year. We thought the price was very reasonable and it's one of the venues that include everything per person so you know exactly what you will be spending before you get there that day... no surprise bar bill at the end of the night. We worked with Crystal, the event planner. She made the day really easy for me as she took care of everything. It all went off without a hitch because she was on top of everything. I pretty much put all responsibility and trust in her on our wedding day which made it totally stress free for me. I had nothing to think about that day and could just relax and enjoy every moment. I highly recommend Longue Vue!

Absolutely wonderful service!

We had both our ceremony and reception at Longue Vue Club in October 2012 and were extremely pleased with how everything turned out. The management and events coordinator was really helpful leading up to the day and was wonderful as a "day of" coordinator. As a bride, I didn't have anything to worry about that day. The space was just beautiful, we got so many compliments on how unique and elegant the place was. So many people said they would recommend it to others that they knew. We were overwhelmed with comments on how good the food was compared with your normal "wedding" food. The groom and myself have a strong liking for good food and we were very pleased with how good everything was. The staff during dinner and cocktails was more than accomodating to the guests and the wedding party. We recieved multiple compliments from our friends and family on how attentive the staff was to everyone. As a "regular" at weddings since all our friends are seeming to get married lately and not to be biased, but we would highly highly recommend this venue to anyone that is looking for a unique wedding experience.

If you look at photos of Longue Vue, you will understand why we chose that location for our venue. The place is absolutely beautiful! From the huge stone arch ways you travel under when you arrive, to the beautiful outdoor patio area (where our ceremony took place), to the gorgeous and spacious ballroom and adjacent lounge, we couldn't be happier. The staff was extremely courteous, helpful and professional. The food was fantastic! We keep hearing from our guest that it was the best they have ever had! They were accommodating with food allergies and made a special plate for a guest with a Gluten allergy, she was thrilled! They were very flexible regarding our arrival time and the duration of the evening itself. They assisted with all the set up and did an amazing job! Wish we could do it again!

The Longue Vue Club was absolutely beautiful for my wedding. They were very cost effective, the service was top notch, and the value was extremely high. I would definitely recommend them in for any bride.

This is the absolute most beautiful place to get married in the Pittsburgh Area. The events planner at the site is so accomadating and they really do everything in their power to make your day special.
