Mrs. Kelly was by far the best event coordinator. She did a fabulous job and kept up with the schedule. She was super friendly and I had no worries with her in charge. I wish her nothing but the best. Thank you!
Los Patios is the most gorgeous venue we looked at. We booked our October wedding at the Brazier. The scenery was perfect. The glass windows at the Brazier made it feel like there was no separation between outside and inside. Decorations are barely needed because the venue speaks for itself. Visit Los Patios, you will fall in love.
Our event coordinator, Kelly was wonderful. She kept us both at ease throughout the entire process. She was quick to respond to emails and answered every little question we had.
If you love a romantic outdoor wedding; this is the place. We are having ours outside with the reception to be held inside the Brazier. So pretty with a tree in the middle and full of lights.
I have knows of Los Patios for years it is a beautiful venue for the bride who is looking for something a little different. The staff was wonderful but sometime a little scatter brained so brides prepare yourselves and just breath. We used the Hacienda room and were worried about space for guests but it worked out ok I do wish there was more and easier room for dancing the fountain is beautiful but a oversized.
We chose Los Patios for our wedding ceremony and reception for a few reasons. First, the location is absolutely beautiful and quaint. It is a hidden gem in the midst of the concrete that makes up the 410/281 area. We were a little worried that an airplane would fly over since it is so close to the airport but that never ended up happening.
Secondly, they provide the food, alcohol, linens and cleanup. This can be a little bit pricier if you plan on having a large wedding but on the good side, you don't have to worry about catering, bar tenders, linen rentals, etc. I thought it was worth it! I didn't want to have to deal with more vendors if I didn't have to.
They are hit an miss with some of the food selections so I would suggest going into their restaurant for lunch and trying out some of the meals before making your meal selection for the wedding. None of it is bad, but some things there are so much better than others. Mainly, I would stick with their more traditional food. Their mexican food just can't compete in San Antonio. Their biscuits on the other hand are so good!
Amy, the events coordinator was a delight! She is very busy so if you have a ton of questions, it seemed much easier just to schedule time to meet her at Los patios rather than contacting her by email.
We ended up getting married on the day San Antonio flooded. Salado creek had flooded the entrance for most of the morning. The entire staff was extremely helpful in so many ways. They ensured that our guest and vendors could get in once the water went down and made sure everything else went smoothly for the rest of the evening.
We did not end up using any of their vendor suggestions in their wedding brochure just because there are much better vendors out there for the price. Their usual florist is a bit overpriced as are her decoration services and rental fees.
Overall, I was very satisfied with how everything turned out and couldn't be happier with the beautiful pictures and the overall ambiance the setting provided.
We used the Hacienda which was beautiful but after they recieved our first payment their accomidating ways changed. The Pros: all in one (food, bar service, tables, linens, etc.), Beautiful site, Food was good not great Cons: site coordinator unaccomidating and at times difficult, flower service pricy
I really enjoyed working with everyone at los patios. They were always helpful and comforting that everything would go off without a hitch and it did :)
Los Patios did a wonderful job with our reception. I told them what we wanted and it was perfect! The staff kept everything flowing nicely, but somehow managed to stay behind the scene. It's such a great location and I don't think enough people know about it.
I recently had an outdoor ceremony followed by the reception in the Hacienda. Everything was great. I used Mary the florist at Los Patios, the flowers were just how I asked, and well priced. The weather was so nice that a lot of guests were outside, this made it difficult to visit with them. I also had tons of extra tables upstairs because of this, so it looked empty. Not exactly what I was hoping. But I couldn't of asked for a better weather day in San Antonio. The night went horribly fast, wish everyone was organized better so we could have greeted everyone. Aimee and the staff were very helpful, they even helped me make sure all of my decorations and important items were packed away.
"Magical" is the word most often used to describe my wedding at Los Patios. The grounds are beautiful, the service was excellent and Amiee, the event planner, was wonderful. I expected something to go wrong, but nothing did. Our wedding was indeed "magical."
Aimee the coordinator was GREAT! She was so helpful in every way; she had great suggestions for us; she was very patient with us; and the place was beautiful. Los Patios has the Garden Center florist on site and that was very very convenient for everyone so we had nothing to worry about. Aimee was especially great with me (Mother of the Bride) in keeping me stress-free.
I loved the fact it was close to the heart of the city but you felt like you were out in the middle of nowhere. The landscape was lush. We got married outside where a river was nearby and walked a short distance to our reception hall. The added bonus was there was a huge bridal changing room! =)
The Food was fresh great service from catering staff, the venue staff was awsome. They made sure everything was what I wanted and how I wanted it.
We performed the ceremony in the restaurant garden, in front of the fountain. It was small but cozy and perfect for pictures. When it got hot or too humid guests could go inside the restaurant where it was air conditioned.;The food was not as good as expected for the price but you are not allowed to hire an outside caterer. Stick to the hors d'ourves or go for an assortment of fruits.
