Lot 8 is a modern, unique open air wedding venue in San Diego. The location is a hidden gem with cool and exciting repurposed furniture and boho chic decor. With an incredibly inclusive wedding package, your wedding planning experience will be stress free and fun!
Lot 8 features an outdoor space located in an open lot area with a beautiful covered area for reception. The flexible, customizable floor plan allows for you to envision your event layout in any way you'd like and then we'll bring that to life. The maximum capacity for the venue is up to 200 guests for a seated reception or up to 300 guests for a cocktail reception.

a lot when it comes to wedding planning. The communication is the biggest thing I have to give them credit for, every question I had (and there were a LOT) were answered promptly, kindly, and thoroughly.
What made this venue truly special was their all-inclusive approach. Instead of juggling a million vendors, the majority of what we needed was coordinated through their in-house team and it made all the difference. Our day-of coordinator, Drew, deserves a HUGE shoutout. He kept everything running perfectly, handled every little detail with ease, and made sure we could just relax and enjoy our day. It really felt more like we were working with a friend rather than being a transactional relationship. He was amazing!
And Ashley, our photographer, was a dream to work with. She made us feel so comfortable and captured every single moment so beautifully from candid shots to the big emotional moments, every photo turned out stunning. She was ON IT.
The whole day was beyond perfect thanks to this amazing team. If you’re looking for a venue that not only looks beautiful but comes with a team who truly cares about making your day unforgettable, this is it. I’d choose them again in a heartbeat!

accommodated a small bounce house and the parents (our guests) were able to enjoy a relaxing evening as the place is the perfect size for children to be safely enjoying themselves. Karen outdid herself with her enthusiasm and I am so so grateful because she has an engaging positivity that helped me be open about my customizations and vision of our special non traditional anniversary party that was very much wedding style . The whole crew at lot 8 was communicative and if they were not, they would inform us about the delay but they did their best to ease our worries and really once the day happened - it was magical! They are seamless. I would 100% book again or do an event as they are flexible with their style.

The venue itself was the best value, with ample space for our 160 guests. The food from Eco Catering was delicious, guests were able to go for seconds. Our photography team of Kristin and Mike captured all the special moments beautifully. DJ Harmz kept the dance floor packed all night long. We and our guests had the greatest time celebrating our special day at Lot 8. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue!

From letting us know exactly where we needed to be, getting the grandmas in place while were taking photos, to the little things like getting a tide pen for my father to spot clean his shirt before his speech. We got so many compliments on the venue and so many people wanted to know how we found this hidden gem. We would like to thank the entire amazing team! Kimberly as coordinator, DJ Curt Owen was an amazing DJ and helped us put together the best playlist for our day, Christina and Joe were amazing photographers and just crushed it, the 2 bartenders we received were very friendly, helpful, and professional, and ECO catering was awesome to work with and have such tasty food! We recently had our wedding of ~80 guests at Lot 8 in San Diego, which is managed by Epic Events. It was a huge success due to all the help and planning that came from the whole coordination team at Epic, especially Mary, Kimberly, Kendra, and Bianca. Special shoutout also to Joel and Giovanni who helped prep and clean up on the day of!
We originally reached out over a year ago and visited Lot 8 in person to go over the space and review the possible options for our wedding. Kendra helped go over all the key points of the wedding package that included the venue rental, photography, DJ, and event/day-of coordination. There were a lot of items that were available to use for free or rent, which was really convenient and reduced the stress of finding lots of commonly needed things like centerpieces, tables/chairs, some signage materials, canopy, etc.
Mary, in addition to generally staying on top of everything, was able to help put us in contact with their photographers and DJ, which helped reduce the stress of finding and vetting these services for ourselves (which can be challenging and time consuming). The photography part of the package included an engagement shoot in addition to the wedding day-of. We had regular email communication over the course of several months while we were finding outside vendors for food and entertainment, in addition to in-person coordination meetings 6 and 1 month out to go deep into the weeds of planning and make sure that all the small details were accounted for. The excellent communication was critical for staying organized and keeping stress to a minimum, as well as for making last minute changes like renting a big tent only a few days beforehand in case of rain.
Kimberly our day-of coordinator, with help from Bianca, was a huge help in helping us establish exactly how we wanted the day to go and bring our vision to life. Kimberly was super attentive the day-of and took care of all the logistics with vendors arriving and leaving. She made sure we were having fun and also helped a bunch with set up and take down.
Overall we had a really great experience working with the whole Epic Events team, and we would definitely recommend them to others who are planning weddings/big events. Thank you so much for making our special day truly amazing!

The venue is very cutely decorated with lots of greenery on the walls. This makes decorating very easy. You really don’t need to add much because it already has a lot of charm. It also holds a surprisingly high amount of people very comfortably (we had about 130 guests). The location is very centrally located as well and right in Hotel Circle for out of town guests.
Kimberley was our coordinator, and I have nothing but high praises for her. She made sure everything we discussed was executed perfectly, and I felt very comfortable in her hands.
We were assigned Mike as our photographer, and my husband and I could not have been happier. He was so friendly and made us feel at ease from the very beginning. The pictures also came out great! Highly recommend him!
DJ Carlos/Harmz was our assigned DJ. We met a month before the wedding so he could understand what we were looking for. He not only played all the songs we requested but 100% listened to implemented what we had discussed. We got a lot of compliments on our music.

till want to plan a bit yourself. You can email them as much as you'd like, but you need to be on top of your dates and checklists. I went with their in-house DJ and he was pretty good as well, a few mistakes with our isle processional songs though. And the in house caterer dropped the ball big time on one of my guest allergies and someone's throat closed and they had to leave the event early. They basically didn't let anyone know about the allergy, after I let them know the guest, the table number, and the allergy. The caterer expected the guest to just mind read what ingredients there were in everything and they never provided me that info. So if be prepared to baby sit the DJ and caterer for sure. The coordinators were great to work with. And I cannot say enough great things about their photography. They really did a beautiful job of capturing the day.

One thing to note, if you are the type of couple that needs vendor responses ASAP or are trying to plan a wedding in a very short amount of time, I might not recommend this venue to you unless you are patient. The venue is BUSY and the team can only respond so fast to each of its couples. Nonetheless, they are on top of planning your wedding and make sure to have everything in place based on the timeline they set out for you. With a little patience, you will definitely receive a response to all your emails or calls. Plus, they were kind enough to let us have meetings earlier than the timeline noted, which made the months leading up to our wedding significantly less stressful. Everyone we worked with was kind, communicative, flexible, and easy to work with. Plus our guests loved the unique venue and had a fabulous time.

nd we loved that it was all-inclusive. As a bride who planned her own wedding, all-inclusive is the way to go! Unbeknownst to me, I had attended a wedding previously at Epic's other location, The Secret Garden, so it felt like I knew what I was getting into when we decided to go with Epic Events.
Catering - Their food is a chef's kiss! Christine was great with communication, and buffet-style was the perfect option. Our guests loved the food!
Photography - Ashley and Allie, you two are ROCKSTARS! Taking photos all day can be overwhelming, but these two made it so comfortable and enjoyable. We received sneak peeks 2 weeks after our wedding, and they turned out amazing! We can't wait to see the rest :)
DJ - DJ Shaun Blaze kept the party going all night, and that's exactly what we wanted! He worked with our playlists (I was pretty particular) and he nailed it.
Coordination - Epic provides a month-of and day-of coordinator. Since I acted as my own planner, I tried to be as detailed and organized as possible to make it easier on our day-of coordinator. Bianca, we know there were some bumps in the road but you did it girl! Thank you for everything.
