When we met with Adam Riegler at the Lotte Palace, our search for a wedding venue was over. The Palace was the perfect space for our wedding of 120 guests and everything about it was more than we could have dreamed. Firstly, Adam is wonderful at his job. He is welcoming and come wedding day, you and your spouse will feel like he only has eyes for you -- but he also has a handle on everything else too. The banquet team delivered a spectacular, entirely gluten free reception. As a celiac bride, this meant so much to me. We faced no limitations despite our allergies and had more options than we could choose. The Madison Room for our ceremony was absolutely gorgeous and intimate. My husband and I are so glad our wedding was at this iconic, beautiful New York landmark and were over the moon with how our wedding came together under the guidance of Adam Reigler.
There is truly no place like the Lotte New York Palace. The iconic historical building features an irreplaceable history and charm that is perfectly complemented with décor and warm, welcoming staff that define hospitality.
I was fortunate enough to host my micro wedding ceremony at the Lotte New York Palace and it was a fairytale. Plans for a wedding at another venue unraveled a week before my wedding date as a result of COVID-19 and indoor dining restrictions. In hindsight, it all worked out for the best. The Event Directors, Bebhinn and Peter, were highly professional, understanding, and incredibly attentive. They took charge and were able put together and execute a perfectly micro wedding with little time to prepare in a way that probably only the Palace can do.
My husband and I also stayed in a suite on the weekend of our ceremony. From the moment our taxi arrived, we were greeted by name and given white glove treatment. The hotel was impeccably decorated for the holiday season and everyone we interacted with was kind and eager to assist us. The suite was spacious, thoughtfully designed, well-appointed, and presented to us in immaculate condition. The room was spacious, which was perfect for hosting my makeup artist and hairdresser while several guests relaxed in the living room.
I cannot thank the staff at the Lotte New York Palace enough. They did everything one could imagine to make a dream wedding a reality in a short time and under difficult circumstances. I will without a doubt be a customer for life and hope to host a larger celebration at the Palace in more normal times.
We used our Lotte palace for our wedding guests. We had a beautiful bridal suite overlooking the manhattan skyline. The rooms are fabulous and the service was exceptional. All the guests are still raving about the hotel. I was taken care of at all times and the hotel delivered even a small fridge when we asked to refrigerate some of our wedding cake. I can't wait to go back.
The Lotte NY Palace is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in NYC. We had our wedding in the Spring of 2017 and the ceremony was held in the Villard Mansion and the dinner/dance was held in the main ballroom. My guests were overwhelmed by the gorgeousness of the Villard Mansion! It was as if we were all transported to the gilded age of NYC since the historically landmarked mansion dates back to that time. Our guests have been to many beautiful venues in NYC and around the world but they were all beyond impressed by the Mansion and the Palace. One of our guests said he thought the Madison and Gold rooms were 2 of the most gorgeous rooms in NYC. Another friend said our ceremony in the Drawing room felt like we had gotten married in a jewel box. When choosing a venue my husband and I went to every top hotel and venue space in NYC (St. Regis, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Park Hyatt, Le Parker Meridian, One World Trade Observatory, etc.) but none had the old world magical charm or such a gorgeous courtyard as the NY Palace. One of the things we loved most was the ability to have the ceremony in the Drawing Room room, cocktail hour in the Gold and Madison rooms and the party in the Ballroom. All the rooms were fairly close and the flow of the party was seamless with no awkward waits for elevators or climbing many flights of stairs. Everything about our wedding day at the Palace was wonderful. Also, the Palace’s staff was top notch especially Rachel Wolff, the Senior Catering Sales Manager. Rachel's positive attitude and kindness made her a dream to work with! Every step of the way in planning our wedding she was upbeat, kind and helpful and no request was too big or small. One thing I was concerned about was whether I was going to need a "day of" coordinator. Many other catering managers at other hotels said I would need one since they would be too busy on the day of the wedding to attend to my needs as well as my vendor's needs and the needs of the hotel. But Rachel said it would not be necessary. She assured me she would be able to handle all the vendors', hotel's and my needs on the day of the wedding and she exceeded all our expectations. I was amazed at how calmly she handled everything on the day of the wedding. You can tell that she truly loves her job and is excited about every aspect of wedding planning. She makes it an incredibly pleasurable experience to work with her and leaves every bride feeling as though they were her #1 priority. Lastly, there were so many gorgeous locations to take photos at in this hotel from the famous courtyard (with St. Patrick’s Cathedral as a backdrop) to the Villard Mansion to the hotel’s specialty suites. We were very lucky that both the Martin Katz Diamond suite and the Champagne suite were available to take photos in on the day of our wedding, which was an incredible experience - but every location in the hotel provides picture-perfect backdrops. We are still so grateful that we were able to have our wedding at such an iconic hotel!
My husband and I got married in The Apartment event space in the Lotte New York Palace this Spring. We wanted a small, intimate event with our closest family and friends, and after seeing the space in The Apartment, we canceled all other venue appointments. It was perfect for our small guest list, had the intimate feeling of someone’s residence, and the views of St. Patrick’s Cathedral lent the perfect backdrop for our guests. It’s impossible to review our experience with The Palace without first talking about the people. Rachel Wolff, the Senior Catering Sales Manager, was a dream. She is personable and sweet and genuinely cares for her clients. I was planning an NYC wedding from Texas, so communication was key, and she responded to every single e-mail, big or small, within minutes. She put us all at ease every time we thought we were throwing her a true curve ball, diligently taking notes while telling us, “oh of course, that’s no problem, I’ll take care of it.” And she did! She was also a huge factor in facilitating the timing of our actual wedding, making sure we got the photos we wanted while working with, and managing, other events happening at The Palace that day. Planning a wedding out-of-state can be stressful if you don’t trust the people you are working with, but Rachel made sure that was not a factor. Her team was professional and everyone at the Palace, from the doormen to the front desk attendants to the head of security (Hi Maurice!), all made us feel at home during our stay. The Palace provided our menu and the food was outstanding. My favorite part of the planning process was our tasting. Everything we had was incredible and choosing which appetizer, entrée, and dessert was almost impossible. All of our guests raved about how delicious everything was, and how attentive the staff was to the quality and detail of each dish. I can’t recommend The Palace, The Apartment, Rachel, and the rest of the staff enough.
After a search of Manhattan wedding venues, we immediately fell in love with The New York Palace and knew that this would be the perfect spot for us. We had our wedding there in August 2016 and could not have imagined a more perfect experience from the moment we chose the venue. Leonardo and Michelle went above and beyond throughout the planning process and were always there, especially on the big day. Everything ran smoothly, from orchestrating the timeline to including all details that were important to us, although based on our ongoing communication with the venue and how thorough they were, we had no doubt that it would! It was also extremely comforting to know that if we happened to hit any minor bumps throughout the planning process, needed any special accommodations, or simply changed our mind about something - that Leo and Michelle would help us resolve it and everything would work out. The venue itself is beautiful, elegant and a truly magical place to have a New York City wedding. The food was magnificent and the service was tremendous all night and from the moment that we checked into the hotel on Friday for our Saturday wedding. The room block went very smoothly for all of our guests as well. I can't imagine a better venue to host an event, especially a wedding. Leonardo, Michelle and the whole team at The Palace helped to make our wedding the most incredible night of our lives! We will forever be grateful that we were able to have our wedding at The Palace!
We recently celebrated our daughter's wedding at the Villard Mansion at the NY Palace. We could not have chosen a more wonderful venue if we tried. We had 62 guests. Thanks to Billy P. for his expertise in planning the event & Kaan E. for helping to execute a dream wedding. The food was unbelievable & the venue was old world elegant and beautiful. Everyone was impressed by their surroundings. Thank you NY Palace for giving us the wedding of a lifetime.
This is truly a 5 star hotel that comes with a 5 star rating. The catering manager was fabulous from beginning to end. It was the best day of my life and my husband and I could not be happier that we chose to have our wedding at the New York Palace.
The team at The New York Palace led by Billy P. is simply superb! He is not only a pleasure to deal with, but also showers you with advice exemplified by his many years of experience in this industry. He was flexible on food options that we wanted and kept in touch over the year we were in planning process.
The renovations at the NYP were fantastic. I was a bit nervous booking our wedding with scaffolding all around but the design team did a fantastic job on making it look like an heirlroom with a modern touch - exactly my style!
The bridal suite was a dream with huge space for my BMs and moms to get ready - full of Molton Brown accessories and stunning views.
The package includes a Ron Ben Israel wedding cake - which was a generous budget that I used to get the cake I wanted.
The food:
During the tasting, we loved the lamb but did not love our crab salad and fish selection as much. We are major foodies with extremely high standards and food was very important to us at the wedding. We provided our critique to Billy and the chef and I have to say that our revised dishes came out spectacular. Our guests were raving about all the food at the wedding and some said it was the best meal they've had! So we were definitely impressed!
The New York palace was a magical venue for our wedding - the decor was stunning, attention to detail first-class, service beyond expectation (thank you Peter and Sheryl!), the food gourmet and accommodations exceptional.
I truly cannot recommend the Palace enough!
