She is nice and straightforward, so her communication style works well with us (or any other busy professionals). Megan soon proved herself and impressed us with her excellent vendor recommendations. She educated us on different photography styles, helping us find our favorite photographer. We were so impressed that we hired him for my graduation ceremony as well. We couldn’t be happier with the results, and we credit Megan for guiding us through the process and helping us find him. All these efforts made the wedding not only personal and memorable but also elegant and luxurious. Looking back, working with Megan was the best decision we made for our wedding! aying it forward. I hope my review of working with Megan gives you enough insight to make the best decision for yourself (and hopefully, it also means hiring Louise & Third for your wedding!). In brief, my experience working with and hiring Megan is that she: - Keeps things very real; authentic and transparent communicator (the biggest pro in our book) - Made wedding planning actually fun and enjoyable for me (the bride!) and also my stress level was always close to zero for a whole year of planning. This I hear is unheard of in the wedding world, so I think that’s saying a lot. - Is very well connected with wedding vendors, especially local ones in Southern California. This means you may very well end up searching/liking/hiring a wedding vendor that happens to have previously worked with Megan (read: ALCHEMY!). This was a huge bonus for us and our wedding magic 💚 - Is thoughtful in personalizing your wedding (and I don’t use this word lightly) - Is culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ friendly, compassionate about my disability, etc. basically a great wholesome human being. (honestly I can’t believe this needs a shoutout…alas these are the times we live in 🙁) - Has an IMPECCABLE eye for detail and design (very important if you’re hiring a planner for a full service wedding package!) But you may still be wondering if you need to hire a wedding planner at all, never mind Megan. I really hope, however, that you DO genuinely consider hiring her. I ended up nicknaming her my fairy godmother by the second half of the wedding planning because that’s how much she grew on me as a person and planner. I felt genuinely taken care of through so many of her actions and thoughtful recommendations. Oh, and to clarify: When I say Megan is super creative, I don’t just mean that she’s a great planner and designer. Rather, I mean that she’s a super problem solver. She’s amazing at solving problems on the fly, thinking from first principles but also with an open mind, helping me (and I’m sure, her other clients too) expand/stretch their vision and planning an absolutely fantabulous wedding experience. Megan, you're really the real MVP. We're so lucky to have had you as our planner.

I chose her because of reviews like this combined with the fact that she was familiar with our venue and many vendors in the southern California area. Our wedding was beautiful, ran perfectly, and Megan and her team were there every step of the way, checking in, directing, and likely doing a million other things that we will never know about, to execute that event. One memory that will crack us up for the rest of our lives, and shows you how involved, yet discreet, Megan was on our special day: At our reception, we were standing at the cake, confused and having forgotten how someone cuts a cake. I looked down, and Megan was right there in front of us, crouched super low so she wouldn't be in any of the photos but would be there for us, coaching us along with words of cake-cutting encouragement. So funny, but such a perfect moment for Megan to pop up and tell us what to do. Thanks to Megan and her team!

She is particularly adept at taking your inspiration, giving options on how we could put on our own personal twist, and bringing it to life. I trusted her taste implicitly -- she knew which upgrades would make a difference and where to save money if you wanted to. Megan even designed our invitations! Everything was cohesive and elevated. Vendors / Execution: Megan made finding and selecting our location and vendors super easy. She has a deep bench of contacts and was able to quickly match our aesthetic with vendors at our price point. Megan is extremely organized and professional. She was proactive communicating with / quarterbacking our amazing team of vendors, which made the day of execution so, so smooth. Most of all, with Megan, I had a sense of trust and peace of mind entering our wedding weekend. The wedding was beyond what I could have asked for. 10/10. No notes.

It was a truly magical evening that we will never forget and I know we could not have done it without Megan's support.
