We hired Alana from Love & Whimsy Events to be our day of coordinator. She went above and beyond not only the day of, but also prior to the event. She helped organize all of our other vendors the weeks leading up to the event and reminded me of small details I may have missed. The day of she was prepared, organized, and a calm presence. She helped alleviate stress overall from the planning process. I definitely recommend her to help with any planning needs!

Alana and team did an amazing job! We booked the Wedding Management Package since we were looking for a day of coordinator. I couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator. Alana was attentive during zoom/virtual meetings and calls. She helped in the weeks leading up to our wedding to plan meetings and make sure all the vendors had the information they needed and were all on the same page. She helped cue and direct the rehearsal and we went over decor rentals and last minute details the evening before the wedding. The day of everything went smoothly. We were able to enjoy every moment with out worrying about any of the small details because they were covered by Alana or our other fabulous vendors. Alana was onsite at the venue getting things ready while the bridal party and family took photos at another location. I don’t think I was involved with a single thing on set up or tear down and that’s exactly what we wanted! To take our hands off the wheel and enjoy the day. We trusted in all our vendors and they all worked well together to deliver and help us to enjoy one of the best days ever. Special shout out since our venue had a room flip since the ceremony space was the same as the dinner space. The venue staff + catering staff + Alana and her assistance got all the tables, chairs, and decor setup during the 1 hour cocktail hour. Alana helped take away a lot of stress and enabled and empowered us to enjoy the day to the fullest without being bogged down by the details.

I started this business in 2021 with a dream to create celebrations that feel personal, polished, and full of heart. With a background in customer service, project management, and merchandising, I bring both creative vision and logistical know-how to every wedding I plan. I’m a big believer in the magic of the little things- those thoughtful details that make your day feel like you. Whether it’s designing a celebration that’s subtly inspired by your favorite movie or making sure your signature cocktails are served just right, I’m all in on creating an experience that’s both seamless and soulful. When I’m not planning weddings, you can find me sipping iced coffee (or tea), chasing around my two kiddos or dreaming up the next unforgettable event. ing whether I needed her to tag along to a vendor meeting or I had questions she would answer my texts and calls. Alana's calm presence really helped me feel calm the week of my wedding and on the day of. She made a lot of good recommendations and was always honest with me if she felt something could be done to make life easier. You can tell she has experience and is good at what she does. If I wouldn't have had her for my day of, I would have been a stressed out mess. Her and her team are 1000% worth hiring and will make you feel so calm, relaxed, and happy on your wedding day. I can't recommend them enough!!!!

She did an awesome job creating the schedule for the day, and then keeping everything moving along according to that schedule seamlessly! She communicated what i needed to all the vendors and took a lot off my plate! Her and her assistant did an amazing job of setting up the flowers (as we did DIY centerpieces, arch decor etc) and an amazing job taking everything down at the end of the night, and that help was such a relief to me and my family! In fact, I don't really know of any the issues that may have come up because she managed them! I highly recommend Love & Whimsy for someone like me who had a vision for their wedding and did a lot of the planning, but needs some help to think of things you may not have considered and help make your wedding day go smoothly.

Overall disappointed in Alana’s services. We purchased the all-inclusive package ~10 months before our wedding for $2,000. Consultation included a phone call, an in-person meeting,...

a 200-question survey, and a google folder for organization. In the few weeks working together, we were asked to fill out sheets, forms, and questionnaires, adding extra work to our already busy schedules. Alana’s floral recommendations were more expensive and lesser quality than our original florist. Information on cake tasting took several weeks and ultimately resulted in screenshots of google searches. Response time was often several days for texts and emails. Structure and organization were lacking. Ultimately, the relationship added more work and stress to both parties. Several months later, our money was refunded and we went our separate ways. Alana seems new to the wedding planning business. She takes more than she can handle and seems to prioritize some clients over others. I would consider Alana if you need help with creative thinking or last-minute coordination, but would not recommend her for task management or organization. We wish her and all future clients the best of luck in their upcoming weddings.

d stressed. It's something I would never want for anyone. While I disagree with your assessment, I understand that perception is reality and never want our couples to feel this way. I am a newer event planner and my prices are reflective of that. Not everyone is destined to work together seamlessly which is why I felt a different planner would be more suited and at attentive to your needs. We provide clear expectations at the beginning of all our client relationships, mapping out a process we know works successfully. We also seek out open communication throughout that process to make sure everyone's needs are met and adjust as needed. We are, of course, reflecting on your feedback to study any areas we can improve, as there is always room to learn and grow. From here, we do wish you all the best.
