Love Blooms Wedding and Event Design

Everything with love blooms was great up until the day of our wedding. To say we are majorly disappointed with the execution and how they handled the issues afterwards is an understatement. We ordered a champagne wall, gift sign /card box, seating chart and welcome sign. Everything was wrong minus the champagne wall, gift sign and card box. • Nothing is more emblematic of Love Blooms quality work or the penny pinching pettiness of their business owner (Katrina) than what happened with our welcome sign. The cost of the sign was $150 which was split out as $100 for the sign itself and $50 for the customization, the customization being to say our names. The sign listed the wrong name for the groom. When we asked for a refund for this, Katrina said that she would only give us a $50 refund for getting the name wrong but would not refund the sign itself because we “still received the sign” • Our Seating Chart was NOT what we ordered ( see below for what we ordered vs what we got). There was no customization of names in acrylic and we were NOT told beforehand in order to come up with a backup solution. Again, she made us pay for the sign and only refunded the customization. They printed out the names on pieces of paper ( not symmetrical) and taped it to the sign.The sign was embarrassing and again, I did not find out until they were setting up when I called this out that it was wrong. We only used it because there was no other way for people to know where their table was. o Despite filling out all forms correctly beforehand for a smooth delivery, the delivery man called me (the bride) multiple times while I was getting ready for my wedding ceremony and was having all sorts of issues trying to find the location (said he didn’t have the address or parking info), which as mentioned had already been provided beforehand. Along with the appropriate number to call to my day of coordinator, adding undo stress to me. o During the call with the owner ( Katrina) after our wedding to apologize, she made out like she was the victim because of how much her employee screwed up and disclosed personal information attributing the cause of her mistakes as well as how the employee had been making other mistakes outside of the work on our wedding. o After much back and forth, she refused to give us the amount we requested as a refund ($200 more than what she was offering as we did not feel that we needed to pay for the signs that were completely wrong). She only agreed to give us the refund we wanted if we promised not tell anyone about this experience or write a review. Due to the extreme unprofessionalism and our disappointment with how the day went we forfeited the extra “refund” so others can know what they are getting into when hiring Love Blooms.

Love Blooms was easy to work with— we did all communication over email or honey books and used pinterest/photos to show them our vision. They do delivery, which made our day very convenient. The flowers were beautiful and exactly what I had asked for.

I have worked with Katrina a few times at North Fork. As a wedding DJ is is super helpful to have a goo timeline and flow. I hope to work with Love Bloom again Darius Groove on Hyde Street DJs

My husband and I hired Love Blooms for our wedding and they did not disappoint! The process was very easy and communication was great! Our flowers were amazing and my boutique was absolutely stunning!!! We also rented candles and a few other items which were perfect. Chanel was the assistant that worked our wedding and she was incredibly helpful. She checked in with me multiple times and was so thoughtful and kind. We are so grateful to Love Blooms!!!

Katrina and her team did such an amazing on our florals, rentals, and decor. Everything turned out so beautiful, and all on a reasonable budget! But even more importantly - Katrina was an amazing day of coordinator! She helped us stay on track with wedding planning and referred us to amazing vendors. On the day of, she was the reason the wedding went so smoothly and took a lot of anxiety off of me and my husbands mind. I can’t recommend loveblooms and the talented Katrina Allen enough!!

Love Blooms was the perfect one stop shop for wedding planning. We went with them for florals, decor, and day-of coordination. I appreciate how they have their decor rental inventory available on their website, so you can see everything they have to offer with photos, pricing, etc. We didn't have to purchase any decor because we were able to rent everything we wanted from them, including lawn games! They also did our florals, which were stunning. They made my vision come to life! We hired them as the day-of coordinator as well, which we would highly recommend. Amelia was fantastic, very professional and organized. We could trust her to handle everything, and she kept the day running smoothly! Would highly recommend Love Blooms for any of their services!

I worked with Katrina who was so quick to respond, answer questions and really made all my requests come true. The flowers were beautiful, and of great quality. Our garden roses were huge, I've never seen roses that large before. She was also able to procure flowers that are not commonly found. I would recommend.

I used thie Day of Coordination for my non-traditional wedding and boy am I glad. Amelia, one of the assisstants, was absolutely amazing. My ceremony decor and seating was stuck in a Uhaul and Amelia was able to make the situation work and made sure everything was able to run smoothly. She then made sure my reception set up was still done correctly even though decorations were delivered super late. She then made sure everything was packed up neatly for me to go home after the wedding without worrying about whether I forgot something or not. She was also firm and concise when talking with my slightly chaotic family members about schedule and things they needed to do. Thank you a million times over. I don't regret a single cent I paid for their services.

We had a great experience with Love Blooms! We were looking for something affordable and with the current wedding market that was very hard to do - we were so happy to find Katrina! She was quick to respond to our emails with questions, and honestly has really cute stuff to rent. Everything went great day of and we're glad we rented from her!

Katrina did an amazing job as our florist! She is very responsive and professional, and clearly has a lot of experience in the wedding industry that really shows. She did a wonderful job with our wedding day flowers and additional rental items. We got so many compliments and couldn't be more pleased with the results!

Overall, our experience working with Katrina was a little below average or what we would expect. The best benefit from Love Blooms are the affordable prices and the great rental options! We were very happy with our Centerpieces which were a mix of greenery and candles as well as the other half with bouquets. We were also extremely happy with our personal items such as my bouquet, etc! I had 3 different planning meetings with Katrina virtually in the 1.5 years I was engaged, we talked a lot about the vision and used imagery and specific flower types. I stressed that the Altar and Headtable were two focal points I cared a lot about and sadly, to my surprise, they were not what I envisioned. The altar was opposite of what we had planned on. The person who set it up at the venue, clearly did not reference the instructions, description or reference photos. Luckily, I saw it beforehand and we were able to make some small tweaks. It felt, over promised and under delivered and when I pointed it out to Katrina via email a few weeks later to voice my concern, she inappropriately shared personal information regarding an employee who did set-up and placed the blame there. It felt so uncomfortable. Overall, I liked my flowers, but this felt very off to me!

For my wedding in July 2023 we used Love Blooms for florals, rentals and day of coordinator. The florals were absolutely amazing and so fresh and beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for. Between the amazing rentals to personalize everything and bring our vision to life to the florals and greenery, everything turned out exceptional and the guests loved everything. Our day of coordinator was Amelia. Let me tell you, she is a knockout 10/10!!! Not only was she super friendly, and down to earth, but she is beyond experienced and excited about her job and making your dreams become a reality. She made sure on our wedding day we got to enjoy every little moment and relax, while she handled everything else with the vendors, and every little detail. If she was stressed, she didn’t let it show. She was so thorough and organized, and we have nothing but the best things to say about her. Even our wedding party loved her service and how on top of everything she was.

I cannot recommend Katrina and her team enough. Everything her team touched was perfect. She did my florals and decor rentals, and I had a great experience doing both. I honestly regret not doing my coordination through her too! She is so worth it. Very detail oriented and experienced. She was able to give me recommendations and advice on many things during wedding planning process. You won’t go wrong with Love Blooms!!

We loved working with Katrina! We planned a destination wedding for Washington from San Diego. We were not able to meet with many of our vendors so communication was solely through email. Katrina was always quick to respond and was great about giving us as much information and options as possible. I was super indecisive and fearful of having too many colors and designs and Katrina was incredibly patient and accommodating through all of it. Our wedding day was made of dreams and that was due in large part to the space Katrina created. We are so lucky to have worked with her and trusted her to do what she does best!

My wife and I had our wedding back in September 2022 in Tacoma. We are so glad we hired Love Blooms. They were really great. Katrina and her assistant were very professional. Katrina took our vision of what we wanted our floral design to look like and she turned it into a reality. Our flowers and Arch from Love Blooms was beyond our expectations. They made everything look so beautiful! Katrina was very communicative with me, listened to my design ideas, and helped us stay within our wedding budget. Our colors were pink, purple, and gold, and they executed it well with their floral design. All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about our flowers. I thought the price for what we got was very reasonable and the flowers were beautiful and great quality. Loveblooms was great to work with. I feel like Katrina understood and captured my vision with the floral design. All of the arrangements were very full and good sized. I was very grateful for her flexibility with returning some of our vase rentals that ended up getting put in the wrong car, and therefore took a bit longer to return. The flowers were gorgeous in general, however a few flowers did looked like they had been a bit sun damaged. I would recommend booking her for your event, just make sure any little details are in your proposal notes. For example when I first emailed Loveblooms I mentioned wanting my bridal bouquet to be a cascade style, but I didn’t clarify that in the notes so I received the typical hand tied bouquet. It was still gorgeous, looked great, and it wasn’t a huge deal. However if you are a bride or event planner that wants everything perfect, be specific with your proposal notes. My only true complaint is that I ordered flowers for decorating our wedding cake. The inspiration photos I sent included dozens of colorful blooms and greenery so I felt like we were on the same page with what would be needed for the cake to tie it in with all the other florals and decor. However on the wedding day all I received was six plain white roses. Luckily the other floral arrangements were so full, we were able to steal flowers from them for decorating the cake. Had I known all I was going to get was half a dozen white roses I would have made an alternate plan, and with that specific item I sadly don’t feel like I got what I paid for.

We went with Love Blooms for our wedding chuppah rental, as well as rentals of miscellaneous smaller items such as signage frames and other decor. Their prices were lower than other vendors we looked at, and everything went off without a hitch! They arrived on time for set up and teardown, and were very accommodating when one of our guests mistakenly took home some decor items that we couldn't return until a couple of days later. One of our rental items was damaged during the wedding, and the replacement fee for this was very reasonable. Thanks Love Blooms for making our day special and stress free!

Katrina was amazing to work with, so friendly and kind and helpful. I sent her a Pinterest collection of our aesthetic and theme and she quickly put together a beautiful proposal that perfectly reflected our wants. I am a stickler about aesthetics and she captured our winter florals perfectly. My bouquet was lovely, the arbor was gorgeous and all of our centerpieces were exactly what we asked for. Love Blooms also seamlessly flipped our venue and handled all of the decor so we didn't have to. Definitely worth the investment and I'd recommend to anyone.

Katrina was great!! She is so responsive, and the flowers for my wedding were beautiful - better than I imagined. I ordered bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, arbors for the altar, and centerpieces for the tables at the reception. Even when there was a small mix up on the day-of for when the centerpieces were to be setup, Love Blooms handled it all without me needing to intervene. Would highly recommend!

We worked with Katrina at Love Blooms for our wedding this past July 2022! I searched through so many different floral vendors with my mom and we decided on love blooms because the cost was reasonable and the work was beautiful. She was easy to work with, and extremely responsive to myself and my mom. The wedding day was perfect and so we’re the flowers/rentals. Thank you so much Katrina!

She changed the set up and delivery fees weeks before my wedding and after I had already signed contracts. Plus the shape of my bouquet was supposed to be cascading but she just made it round. It was really disappointing. She also didn’t follow the inspiration photos I sent so the colors didn’t really match well. There was way too much purple and the bridesmaids and burgundy/red dresses. Katrina also was not very responsive or professional. You’re better off choosing a different vendor.

We used Love Blooms for our wedding for some of the flowers and then we rented some decorations/backdrops. They were amazing to work with and very flexible. The day before the wedding I asked if they were able to bring everything and set up and they said yes. It made everything a lot easier so I didn't have to do that myself. All my flowers and decorations looked beautiful and met my vision perfectly.

I worked with Love blooms for both their wedding planning and their florals. For planning, we went with the partial planning and worked with the Katrina (the owner). I mainly went with partial planning because we booked a venue where we needed to go out of our way and find all the vendors. I did not want planning to be my full time job, and I wanted someone that would help me with budget as well as take any of the day of tasks away from friends and family. Honestly, I was very disappointed with the planning process. Her job was to find me vendors, then I would contact them to see if it was a good fit and book them. It took Katrina a long time to get me a majority of our vendors, which meant we were left with vendors that were not ones she had worked with, too expensive, or the last option left for our date. She took multiple vacations during a very crucial planning time. It made the planning process very stressful because we never felt fully prepared for our wedding day. When it came to our day of planner, they were someone that was never apart of our planning process. I honestly don’t think she was given any good information about our vendors and plans for the day of from Katrina. Our day of person was so sweet, but even she said that Katrina should not have made a lot of the decision that she did. One big issue we had was when Katrina set up our rentals, she set it so that we were responsible for picking up and returning. This included all the different plates, linens, wine glasses, beer classes, and much more for a 175 people wedding. We were unaware of the responsibility until about 2 weeks out when it was too late to switch for them to deliver. My family had to rent a uhaul and worked even harder unloading and loading than the event staff that Katrina had us hire. I never wanted my family to do any heavy lifting and that was one of the first points I made clear to Katrina. In our initial meeting of figuring out if we should hire her, she made a lot of promises that she could not keep when it came to our vision. I was extremely disappointed, and honestly feel bad for our day of planner for having to deal with the horrible planning that was set up for her to take over. I’m regards to their florals, they were beautiful. Beyond what I imagined. Only issue was that my bouquet was too big where I actually could not hold it with one hand. Feels like a silly issue to have. It was very expensive, but ended up being Gorgeous. I would not recommend their planning services. But, they do a good job with florals if you’re not on a tight budget.

We worked with Love Blooms for our wedding at JM Cellars in July and we had a lovely experience working with them. They did an amazing job with the florals for my bridal bouquet, for our ceremony site and the tables. They even moved the ceremony site flowers to surround the neon sign we had in the dance room which was a hit for photos! I would highly recommend working with Katrina and her team at Love Blooms - they were great and kept everything really affordable which can be nearly impossible to do with wedding florals!

We worked with Katrina to share our plans, get her recommendations, and make sure we had everything we needed. We were able to provide pictures explaining our vision for bouquets, boutonnieres, aisle decorations, centerpieces, and altar arbors and left it at that. She was very thorough in ensuring that we had the various boutonnieres and corsages appropriately labeled (for parents, grandparents, siblings, etc.) and that we didn't leave anything out. I didn't check back on the floral arrangements too much leading up to the wedding as there was so many other aspects of the wedding that needed my attention, and when the flowers showed up they were absolutely beautiful and exactly what we had pictured.

Love Blooms was incredible to work with! We had originally planned and signed an agreement for our big day in 2020 and it ended up being smaller due to the pandemic, Katrina was willing to work with us to adjust as necessary and set us up for success on our wedding 2.0 a year later. She was extremely progressional and had awesome recommendations as well as catered to my vision to put our day together. We used their day or coordination, Kimberly as well and they both were so easy to work with, worked well with the other vendors, and a lot of fun! The arrangements were Beautiful and held up for a week and a half post event! Would highly recommend to work with love blooms for floral, decor rental and coordination!

Where do I begin? Katrina and Loveblooms brought my wedding floral dreams to life! Katrina was amazing and was more than willing to make adjustments as I narrowed down my vision for my wedding and was even willing to switch out flowers a week before the wedding. My florals were so beautiful and everyone loved them! I'm so bummed we went on our honeymoon the day after the wedding because I didn't get to enjoy the flowers longer. The rentals offered through loveblooms were amazing as well. Our guests had so much fun playing the yard games we rented during cocktail hour. I cannot recommend LoveBlooms enough for rentals and florals! They were such a huge part of my wedding and I'm so happy with how everything turned out.

My husband and I hired Love Blooms for our wedding in Seattle. We chose this florist because they were recommended to us by our reception venue and their reviews are mostly positive. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed in how things went and we will not be recommending their services to others. There are many talented florists in the Seattle area and my one regret is that we didn't hire someone else. * Bridal bouquet - On 4/25/22, I emailed Love Blooms and asked how much it would cost to recreate a cascading bridal bouquet from a photo. Katrina provided me with a quote to recreate the bouquet, which I agreed to. On 5/26/22, Katrina emailed to confirm which shape I wanted for the bouquet, saying: "Just want to make sure I make it exactly like you want:)". I re-shared the photo of the bridal bouquet and confirmed I wanted cascading. The bouquet that I received was round, the flowers were wilted, and the water they were potted with was green and filmy. It looked nothing like the photo, which was even copied on our contract. * Bridesmaid bouquets, aisle flowers and boutonnieres - We requested 12 tightly packed white roses for each bridesmaid bouquet, aisle flowers, plus a handful of boutonnieres. On 5/5/22, I sent Love Blooms a photo of how we wanted the bridesmaid bouquets to look. Again, the flowers looks sickly and some petals were even starting to brown. I think all of the flowers came from the same place and they were just in really bad shape. We're surprised that Love Blooms didn't see any problem with using them. * Garland for the stairs - We asked Love Blooms to line the staircase with green garland and candles. On 5/18/22, we emailed Love Blooms with a link to our Pinterest inspiration board (which is something Katrina had previously requested). One of the collections is called "Florals - CITS Staircase". Inside the are 3 examples of staircases decorated lush, green, fluffy garland and candles. Later that day, Katrina responded to the email, acknowledging that she had received the link to the Pinterest board. We did not receive a garland. What we received instead appeared like loose leaves just thrown on the ground (photo attached). * Arbor - On 7/12/21, I emailed Love Blooms and asked how much it would cost to recreate an arbor from a photo. She provided me with a quote to recreate the arbor, which I agreed to. The product we received had substantially fewer flowers and they were limp. A lot of them were loose and dangling upside down. * Hanging installations - We asked Love Blooms to recreate 4 of the 6-foot hanging wood hanging installations that we saw pictured on their websites. We were so excited that we even asked our lighting service to install extra spotlights to really emphasize the installations. What we received were barely more than sticks suspended on metal chain links. We received a lot of questions from guests and were honestly really embarrassed. We chose to hire and trust Love Blooms with our wedding because they're the experts, but they clearly dropped the ball. Katrina refused to refund any pieces and just said that we got what we paid for (ouch). The lack of empathy and unwillingness to take responsibility is honestly the most upsetting part of the entire experience. My husband and I aren't willing to try to fight this with her. We simply will not be using Love Blooms again in the future for any events we have, nor will we recommend them to others.

I cannot express how amazing Love Blooms was for our wedding! We hired them for our day-of-coordination, as our florist, and also decor rentals. It was so great to have the same person run all three of these major points and was worth every cent, in fact it was a steal! Our contact was Amelia and she is such a rock star and am so grateful for all her work. She knew our venue inside and out and was able to offer tips and suggestions I wouldn't have thought about. I told her my color palette and the type of decor I liked and she put together such a gorgeous wedding for our day. It was exactly what I wanted and then some. Plus she made sure that my now husband and I got to enjoy our wedding! Love Blooms was super helpful in every aspect of our planning and were very responsive with any concerns, changes, or ideas. Hire them, it was the best choice we made!

Katrina and her team did such an amazing job with the flowers for our reception! I had some idea of what I wanted and her vision turned out to be even better than I could have imagined. My friends and family kept commenting on how gorgeous the flowers were. They enhanced the vibe of our party without overpowering - it was perfect!

Katrina and her crew did a wonderful job setting up for our wedding. The flowers came beautifully and everybody loved them. My husband and I are not very design oriented so she was very helpful in guiding us to a design that was our style and within our budget. We also loved that we could use her for flowers and general decor, It made overall setup much easier. We would recommend them.

My now husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Kristina at Love Blooms! She was responsive, offered reasonable prices compared to some other Seattle area florists, and was able to execute exactly what I was looking for. I provided some inspiration pictures from Pinterest, and the bouquets and wall arbor came out amazing! It can be nerve wracking working with a vendor where you don't see the final product until your wedding day, and you just have to hope everything comes out as you imagined. But Love Blooms definitely delivers! In addition to florals, we were also able to rent candles, sign holders, and cafe lights from them, which was so convenient. I definitely recommend Love Blooms for your wedding florals!

Karina’s talent is hard to miss with one glance of her gallery or Social Media sites, you will certainly see why! And all the lovely reviews just shows how incredible she is! I had recently moved to Washington when I realized that I wanted a moody wintery woodsy Viking style wedding (with added glam of course!). The moment I found her I knew there was no one else. As a matter of fact, I had no reason to look any further. She was our flower gal. From the beginning, Katrina gave such great advice, and everything was such an easy transaction. I gave her a couple ideas but told her to be creative with the arrangements and everything that goes with it. We are truly blessed to have found Katrina, I know our paths will cross again someday- and I 100% recommend her to anyone. Thank you again for making our dreams come true!

Katrina & her team did such an amazing job with our wedding, we had a destination wedding in WA coming from Kauai HI. Our goal was to show up and hoping everything will come together and that’s exactly what happened. Everything was perfect down to the little details just as we imagined. Communication with Katrina was so quick and with all my add ons last minute she was understanding & quick to add them on. We absolutely loved our floral decorations definitely gave us that PNW wedding we were hoping to get. We 100% recommend love bloom weddings!!

Katrina and her team killed it and we had the best small/backyard wedding we could've hoped for! Katrina's attention to detail, patience and always being reasonably communicative really helped me plan everything and she provided referrals for rentals for chairs, stemware, plates etc. I highly recommend!!

We changed our minds on our rentals and things we wanted so many times and I'm so grateful for their responsiveness and organization! They were so dedicated to our special day especially because we had to postpone with covid which was really hard. They felt like family!

Katrina and her team were wonderful to work with. We hired Love Bloom for all of our florals decoration as well as other rentals. I love that I only have to one vendor that has all my needs!!! Communication was great with Katrina! Especially with the year that we had with the pandemic, she was a great person to work out all the details with as well as handle all my bridal needy-ness and changes with grace! She never complain about how many times I emailed her and ask her the same questions haha Even my husband, who like many boys out there does not care much about flowers, said that the flowers were beautiful!!! All of guests ended up taking all the flowers home because they love them so much!

Love Blooms was absolutely an amazing company to work with! We rented tons of decor and had the best experience. Katrina was so fast to respond and so flexible. We had to change our wedding date several times due to Covid and she was completely understanding. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing!! Love Blooms did all the flowers for my wedding, from the table runner, to gorgeous flowers on a pedestal to my bouquet. I can’t tell you how many comments I got about how wonderful the flowers were - my guests all took something home. I also got comments from multiple people that my bouquet was the prettiest they’ve ever seen. I couldn’t be happier! Setup was also easy, they were absolutely wonderful to communicate with ahead of time.

I rented a backdrop from Love Blooms and they were so quick to respond to my email! They explained the set up, delivery, and pick up very clearly that everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Love Blooms was perfect for our wedding day. I ordered bouquets for myself and my wedding party only. It was very easy and worry free to work with them. They also responded very promptly whenever I had a question. I got exactly what I wanted. They were incredibly helpful and made things clear with the contract. I sent Love Blooms pictures of the designs and bouquets turned out beautiful! I used their partnered venue, Evergreen Meadows, so the bouquets were at the venue the morning of my wedding day. I was very pleased with the designs, and they even matched my wedding party's dresses perfectly. I highly recommend hiring Love Blooms!

I hired Katrina as my day-of wedding coordinator and my florist and she was amazing as both! I rented an arch; Katrina did the arch flowers; I rented some aisle stands and Katrina also added florals for that as well. I also asked her to make mine and my bridesmaids' bouquets along with corsages for the grooms side. Flowers definitely make a huge difference in how your wedding looks and Katrina delivered 110%. Everything looked AMAZING and my pictures speak for themselves. As a wedding coordinator, Katrina was organized and on top of everything. She went above and beyond to make sure that nothing that went slightly not according to schedule (some wedding crashers, timing, bad music cue) get back to me (the bride) and really did everything she could to ensure that our day seemed flawless from our perspective. We decided to skimp some money on our DJ (beware - dont do this!) and Katrina had to basically hand hold him as he went through our playlist. Without her, I dont think our day would have gone as smooth as it would have. I highly recommend getting a wedding coordinator for your wedding and if you can, getting Katrina as your wedding coordinator!

LoveBlooms is the absolute BEST! We used them for our wedding in August for floral arrangements as well as a few rented items for decor-everything turned out so beautifully and the team is so professional and easy to work with! From the get-go Katrina was so helpful in helping me figure out exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond in helping bring my vision to reality. Would recommend them to everyone! 10/10!!!
