The city is vibrant, open, fun, and creative, and Stacie reflected all of those qualities effortlessly in how she showed up for us at the wedding. She’s exactly what I picture when I think of a true Lawrencian!
I truly don’t think our wedding would have been as beautiful, fun, or stress-free without her. Stacie helped us think through small but essential details, like guest accessibility, transportation logistics, and our end-of-night send-off. She even worked with me to create game plans for any tricky situations that could arise. She was never judgmental—just incredibly understanding and supportive, helping me navigate tough decisions with ease.
One memorable example of Stacie’s dedication came the morning of the wedding when we realized we had accidentally ordered breakfast for the wrong day—they were delivered on wedding morning instead of Sunday for the post-wedding brunch. I panicked, not knowing what to do or how we’d feed everyone the next day (the food would go bad by then). Stacie immediately stepped in, connected us with one of her catering contacts who created an amazing spread for the day after brunch, and then personally came and got the food (on the morning of our wedding day) and donated it all to a local shelter. Her thoughtfulness and resourcefulness completely saved the day.
Another standout moment: After the ceremony, my mom, sister, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law all struggled to figure out how to bustle my dress before the reception. Stacie ran back to Danforth Chapel in the August heat to help with my bustle and saved the day yet again. Later, I saw her carrying one of my huge floral installations on her shoulder as she helped my grandparents get to the reception venue. It was full-on superwoman vibes, and I’ll never forget her kindness and determination.
Stacie made everything feel effortless and filled our day with so much love and care. I can’t recommend her enough. She truly went above and beyond every step of the way, and I’ll forever be grateful for her role in making our wedding so unforgettable.

For the style and decor plan, we had a quick conversation about what my fiance and I envisioned, what we liked/didn't like, and our budget, and they made a very thoughtful and beautiful plan with instructions on how to rent or buy everything we would need. It made it SO EASY for us and I never worried about having too much or not enough because I was able to trust in and follow the plan.
Then, a few weeks out from the wedding, they came in and took over all the vendor coordination and everything for me. They really made it so that my fiancé and I and our friends and family could just enjoy the day and live in the moment, and that is honestly the greatest compliment I could give them. I loved that they set everything up and were keeping an eye on our timeline so we could just enjoy the day and be happy with all of our people around us!
I would advise any couple getting married to get a Day of Coordinator and I honestly can't imagine any group better at it than Stacie and her team!

Her team decorated our venue (Abe & Jake's) and it was BEAUTIFUL. She was my timekeeper at the wedding and she kept everything on track in the most calm, cool and collected way. Stacie had so many creative ideas and really listened to what my vision was for the big day. She made it come to life! I was shocked when I realized that all of our décor was packed away and made it back to my parents house the next day. We did the 'day of' package but it honestly felt like so much more - she coordinated with all of our vendors in advance, set-up a clear timeline for the day, brought the girls lunch while we were getting ready, decorated our venue, made sure my husband and I and the wedding party got food and drinks during the cocktail hour, and designed and printed a bunch of random items like programs, table cards, place cards, etc. I also loved her waste management add-on service where she donates any leftover food / flowers. In the days and weeks leading up to the wedding, I was truly never stressed that we were forgetting anything, and on the day of, she managed to keep us on track with timing without being overbearing. o the wedding and I am so grateful I did. Stacie provided a checklist at the very beginning to guide us through what we needed to get done and what we wanted her to get done. Once we hit the 60 day mark I got an email from Love in Lawrence to schedule meetings to discuss what we had accomplished, what needed to be done, and how to make our wedding vision come to life. The meetings were held virtually which worked out so great, since we don’t live in Lawrence. The meetings also emphasized that from that point forward the wedding planning was all in their hands. The team was flexible and very understanding throughout the entire planning process. Fast forward to the wedding day, everything was perfect! The day flew by as everyone told me it would but it still turned out like a dream. I had limited time with my photographer but the Love in Lawrence team made sure we took full advantage of the time we had, which happened to include a private drive to the photo location in Stacie’s car. Stacie also made it a point to walk around our picture spot in the morning to see just how muddy it was after a full day of rain the day before. Stacie, Isabel, and Caroline were constantly checking in on us to make sure we had food, water, and drinks and to see if we wanted to keep the party going or start closing down. I have to give extra kudos to Stacie, Isabel, and Caroline for wrangling the groomsmen and getting them where they needed to be (especially after a few celebratory lunch beers). ces, we decided to go with Love in Lawrence. Stacie was welcoming and professional from the first time we spoke with her. She made sure to answer all of our questions we had leading up to the big day. Once we were about six weeks out, she met with us to go over all the details that we had planned to be sure she understood exactly what our vision was and how she needed to execute. From that moment, Stacie took over all vendor communication and began working on the day of timeline. It was a huge load off of our shoulders. Once our big day arrived, Stacie continued to ensure we didn’t have to do a thing, other than enjoy it. She was on site to check in all vendors and direct them to where they needed to be. She stepped in to help set up all decorations so we didn’t have to worry about it. During our ceremony and reception, Stacie made it very clear to us that she wanted our wedding party and immediate family to enjoy ourselves and not have to do anything. As we got to the end of the evening, Stacie took all of the decor down and made sure it all got back to our hotel room. She even decorated our hotel suite and left cute little goodies for us when we turned in for the night. I could talk for days about how much Stacie added to our wedding. us from the very beginning, helping us figure out our overall vision, decoration plans, which vendors to select, and even provided a detailed itinerary of our wedding day. We had regular FaceTime calls during the planning stage, figuring out and organizing all of the details, and Stacie provided a budget spreadsheet with ongoing cost updates, and a decor plans in PDF format to help visualize the day.
On the day of the wedding, she was at the venue super early to set up the decorations and coordinate the vendors, then she stayed the whole day to coordinate the ceremony and reception, and stayed long after the wedding to tear down and clean up. On top of all that, we also had a luncheon event earlier in the day that Stacie also went above and beyond to help setup, decorate, and coordinate! She fielded all questions and resolved any snafus with our vendors so my husband and I could have fun and completely focus on our day without worry.
