Kierstin is an artist with impeccable vision. More than that - she is deeply considerate, emotionally present, and genuinely joyful in the pursuit of your special day. Kierstin per...
fectly brought to life our color-drenched, effortlessly warm, and unconventional wedding day. Kierstin grounded all of the decisions we made planning our wedding in the deep understanding she built of us as a couple. She set schedules that flowed gracefully and had flexibility for us to get lost in a moment. She stepped in when reassurance was needed and prompted us to find our own joy in the planning journey. She also designed a fully transportive, energetic, and deeply meaningful setting for us and our guests.
The lamp-lit, richly anointed, and verdant reception space we danced the night away in was the moodboard personified. Kierstin painstakingly matched fabric patterns for the perfect cohesive pendant installation and tablescape. She folded in our shared value of sustainability with on-venue flower farm use, bamboo disposables, and decorative trees that now live on at the venue. She found specific and meaningful ways to impart ourselves in the details of that weekend. All of this was executed with organized, clearly articulated, easy to approach planning milestones.
The tools she provides to guide you through decision making are functional and informative. Important logistics are embedded in the exciting design tracker, making it the first time logistics have ever been exciting to fill out. Also, as a couple who was traveling to Austin for their big day — Kierstin made planning visits efficient and highly focused to minimize travel back and forth.
We whole-heartedly recommend working with Kierstin and Lovely Day. You’re gaining an invaluable team member, incredible designer, and everything in between.
We cannot say enough great things about Alexis! She honestly was sent from above. We interviewed around four other planners and the minute we got off the meeting with her, my now h...
usband turned to me and said she was the perfect one for me, which could not have been more true. We clicked immediately and I felt so seen the entire time. But she also took the time to get to know us individually and as a couple so at the end, the final vision was something we could cherish as ours. I myself do a lot of planning for work and one - cannot hold a candle to Alexis and two - would not trust anyone else in the world to get things done and in such a magnificent way.
We came to her with a dream in mind that we could not quite pull all together and she was able to take the fragments and turn it into such a thoughtful, meaningful, beautiful day. She also saved us multiple times when we couldn't quite find the right vendor for something; she has quite a few tricks up her sleeve. Not only that but she found the perfect fit for us that ALSO had experience at our very specific venue, Laguna Gloria. She was there day and night for us and never as much as gave me a sidewards glance for all the personal items I had picked out to go to the venue, even though I totally deserved one. :) Even her family helped us by bringing us alebrijes from Mexico just like the ones my grandmother used to bring me so that we could hand them out to our guests. It was an incredible way to honor my grandmother's memory and the guests loved them.
Her and her staff were so attentive during the entire wedding day and anticipated the needs of the wedding couple and guests at every turn. They even covered a bunch of the furniture and brought a bunch of it inside the villa when it rained which cut down on their prep time significantly but you would have never been able to tell. By the time the wedding party and the guests arrived, everything was in its perfect place.
They always say expect at least one thing (or more) to go wrong on your wedding day but we honestly can't think of one thing we would change. If you have any doubts, throw them away and hire Alexis! She is one of the most dedicated people we have ever met and she truly puts her heart and soul into every little detail all while keeping everything on track.
The best decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process was hiring Kierstin of Lovely Day Events. I cannot speak highly enough of her - she is utterly fantastic at ...
what she does. She is not only the kindest human but also 1) is a strong advocate for her clients (ensuring the best value for services/cutting costs where possible to help maximize budget potential); 2) very flexible and went above and beyond to cater to my hectic schedule; 3) has very strong network of connections with the best vendors across central Texas/larger Austin area; 4) will walk with you every step of the way even through and beyond day of the wedding to ensure your event is everything you imagined and more. Hire Lovely Day Events - you won't regret it!!!
I had a truly wonderful experience with Kierstin and Lovely Day Events. Not only was Kierstin efficient, organized and easy to work with, she really cared about making the dream of...
our wedding a reality. She worked tirelessly on a tight timeline to bring all the elements of our special day together and really connected with my family and close friends as an essential part of my team. I would recommend Lovely Day Events to anyone planning a wedding, they certainly made my celebration unforgettable in the best way. I am truly grateful for Kierstin's eye for design and attention to even the smallest aspects of the event. She is an absolute joy!
Hands down the BEST decision we made at the start of the wedding planning process was hiring a wedding planner and I absolutely LOVED working with Alexis!! Right from the beginning...
, she was our #1 planning cheerleader, taking the time to get to know us as a couple and hear what our vision was for our wedding day. Throughout the entire process, Alexis was always prompt in responding to all my questions, especially in the chaotic final weeks where small questions would pop up in my mind almost every hour. She never made me feel crazy for obsessing over every little detail and always had solutions to bring our ideas to life. Her professionalism and expertise along with her reassuring and positive presence was always a welcome relief throughout the whole process! By the end, I wholeheartedly trusted her to execute our special day well without a hitch, which is saying a lot from a self-proclaimed control freak. Even though we had strong winds on the day of our outdoor wedding ceremony and other little things that went awry, Alexis handled it with such ease that I either didn't notice the hiccups or felt that the changes she made were even better than what I had envisioned. She did a wonderful job ensuring that everything went smoothly, which allowed me to be fully present to enjoy our wedding day. I kept telling my friends in the final weeks that I have no idea how I would have stayed sane without Alexis in our corner and am infinitely grateful for her support throughout everything!

gh vendors (Kierstin has great relationships with many excellent venues/services/businesses and can provide options that best suit the vision you're trying to create) to keeping everything on schedule (the software tools she utilizes are extensive and the timelines/checklists leave nothing to chance) to finances (very conscientious about budgeting, with excellent suggestions on how to maximize a particular effect / meet a particular need at minimized cost where possible) and of course – the biggest save of all – our sanity! I can honestly say that despite being a control freak all my life, I was actually able to relax and enjoy our daughter’s wedding day because I knew its execution was in such capable hands. Kierstin maintains excellent communications throughout the planning process and day-of activities, amongst the many vendors involved as well as with the bride/groom and respective families. This is so important because there are just SO many moving parts in a large scale event that a change in one area can quickly cause ripple effects elsewhere, especially if you are unprepared and/or don’t have the time or bandwidth to deal with it. When the weather changed for the worse 3 days before the wedding, we had to make a rapid pivot and move the planned outdoor ceremony into the indoors venue. Thanks to preparations made months in advance at Kierstin’s recommendation, we had our back-up plans well-established and were prepared for such a change. With further quick thinking & agility by Kierstin and the Lovely Day team, we were even able to make some last-minute fairly inexpensive additions to the venue that made the indoor ceremony even MORE beautiful and memorable than we had possibly imagined. The entire event was everything my daughter and her fiancé had envisioned and more, and that would not have been possible without the benefit of someone with large event planning expertise and solid relationships with known quality vendors. So if a “Lovely Day” is what you’re truly after – Kierstin and her team can definitely help deliver that!

lebration was all the more memorable because of her dedication and expertise. She struck the perfect balance between handling the heavy lifting for us and still giving us the final say on all the decisions—something I really appreciated as someone who likes to stay in control. On the actual wedding day, I could focus on having fun because she had everything coordinated flawlessly behind the scenes. She is an expert and has fantastic relationships with vendors, which was critically important for us! I can't imagine how I would have navigated the process from logistics to design without Kierstin.

She was patient and walked us through all the challenges and hiccups without being flapped.
Doing a wedding at home was challenging in so many aspects from the tent, the flooring, the lights, coordinating every little thing that has to be thought of and that list is long.
Her level of expertise was so welcoming through this process and for this we are so deeply grateful to her and loved working with her and her team.
I cannot speak highly enough of Kierstin and her team at Lovely Day Events. She excels at translating each of her clients’ individual tastes and preferences into a cohesive and art...
ful aesthetic. Her events are truly editorial worthy! She is experienced and well-regarded in the Austin wedding industry — and put together an exceptionally kind and talented vendor team with whom I had the pleasure of working. I recently utilized her full-services to host an elaborate, multi-day sangeet and hindu wedding, and she was always ready to tackle a challenge (working with out-of-town vendors she was unfamiliar with, last minute changes to decor or timeline, complicated tent/venue logistics). She is fair, organized, and wholly on your team (respectful of family dynamics and budget). Most importantly, she is truly a pleasure to work with. She is funny, laid-back, creative, empathetic, hard-working and honest. She makes time to accommodate challenging professional schedules and always responds quickly (will miss our innumerable texts/emails/phone calls). She is totally your advocate in an industry that can be confusing and difficult to navigate. I am beyond grateful to Kierstin for planning the wedding I had imagined since childhood. Wholeheartedly would recommend!

questions. She has worked with many vendors and provided us with her honest recommendations and thoughts on each of them based on our style. Kierstin was very professional and organized throughout our 14 month planning process, even our various vendors would comment at how well organized Kierstin was. On our wedding day, we knew every component of our wedding was in very capable hands. We cannot recommend them enough, do not hesitate to book Lovely Day!

am wedding thanks to Kierstin’s organization, experience, and creativity. Throughout the whole process, Kierstin kept us on track while helping us feel confident, comfortable, and in control leading up to the big day. On our wedding day, Kierstin and the Lovely Day team were incredible. They handled everything and resolved any problems in such a way that allowed us to be totally present and worry-free the entire time!

and it was one of the best decisions we made. She is organized, attentive, has great relationships with other vendors in the industry and is a clear expert in wedding planning. She's also the exact vibe you want when planning your wedding: extremely patient (answered the same questions multiple times, fielded questions from us and family members), very responsive to endless calls/emails/texts/Instagram messages and laid back. We truly felt that Kierstin kept our best interests in mind the whole time and was an advocate for what we wanted, making the relationship feel like a genuine partnership. She is professional in how she communicates, but also extremely approachable and easy to connect with. She also struck the perfect balance between taking things off our plate and leading, but also very much making us feel in control (this was very important to me as a type A person).
We had the most fun and perfect wedding and we credit so much of the day's success to Kierstin!
PS: Our wedding is over and she is still working to tie up loose ends and provide feedback to vendors as appropriate.

ay for us - from finding the right vendors for our wedding ideas and style, helping nail down design details, making sure we stayed on track for both timeline and budget, and just making sure the day ran smoothly for us. We felt that Kierstin always listened to what we wanted and never pressured us to rush the planning process. She made sure that the wedding day ran perfectly from our view by dealing with vendors, making sure the decor was placed exactly where we wanted, and dealing with a couple of issues along the way on our behalf with another wedding vendor. We fully recommend Kierstin and her team and could not have survived the wedding planning process without her.
From start to finish our whole wedding was secure in the very capable and professional hands of Kierstin. I have absolutely no idea what we would have done without her advocating ...
for us every step of the way. Everyone believes that there is the best wedding ever and Kierstin makes you believe that with her focused and loving energy on every detail that crosses her path!!
Patient. Kind and so hardworking. We truly could not have imagined how much help and support we were getting the day we called lovely day events. From vendor tips, endless phone calls and emails and texts, nothing was overlooked or forgotten. A magic act !!
If you’re reading this, pick up the phone and tel Kierstin Carole sent you. Go on!

d when it came to being able to pick up on how we were feeling, when we were uneasy, and knowing how and when to be our voice and guidance brought calm and ease to a wedding that should have been way more headache inducing than it was.
We are beyond grateful for Kierstens expertise, she guided our hand towards the best of every vendor, ultimately garnering us a team of unique, experienced and talented people who made our day truly memorable. She knew the right questions to ask in order to pull out of us what we did not know how to express, and she truly took the time to get to know my husband and I both as individuals so as to make sure that neither of our voices over-shadowed the other.
I can truly say that over the year and a half we spent planning our wedding either Kiersten, she became more of a friend and guiding hand, and less of someone we simply hired to help with the wedding planning process, you would be remiss to not seek her help with your own day.
Kiersten, thank you doesn't cut it, but it will have to do, you were absolutely a pleasure to work with.

ities and the fact that we were planning our Austin wedding from New York and she was super helpful in sharing her ideas and experience. We went with the month of coordination package as we knew we would be pretty particular about details and Kiersten thoughtfully took our considerations and paired us up with Lindsay who was all around amazing. She met with us countless times to check in on our status and give us ideas or suggestions. We met both in-person (when we were in town) as well as virtually, and never felt the pressure of a time clock to our meetings or her involvement, which was our biggest fear with the month of coordination package. We had some pretty particular ideas of what we wanted and though Lindsay would say “I’ve never seen that done” she worked with us to make sure it happened. She worked tirelessly to listen to our ideas, the nuances of what we wanted and made sure to execute each and every aspect the day of the wedding. She truly brought a vision we had to life and we can’t thank her enough!

g we thought any of the trusted Austin planners would work just as well and we were in a bit of a rush at 6 months out. Our venue (the Commodore Perry) recommended Kierstin and to our great fortune she was available. In hindsight we had seriously underestimated the importance of having a wedding planner with a true eye for art/style and an elevated taste that we share (and/or aspire to!) along with an expertise that comes only from a lot of experience, and we came to realize that we'd hit the jackpot in Kierstin as this is exactly what she brings to the table. She seamlessly helped to execute ideas that started as mere figments in our Pinterest imagination and her vendor recommendations were 100% all-star, top-tier people and companies (and which were not necessarily the most expensive options) that we loved and that we would not have found if not for her guiding the way. Kierstin helped design and put together looks for our table settings and many other artistic details that ended up looking like they were out of an editorial. She went above and beyond for us in so many big and small ways and her help allowed us to have the unique-to-us details that we dreamed of. She's also super intelligent, reasonable, calm and organized and was exactly who we needed to help keep us on task week to week and who we would have wanted to guide us through some of the not-so-fun details, like planning for weather-related contingencies and handling delicate interpersonal issues. Even more important than all of the above, she is such a truly lovely, kind and warm person and it was a delight to have meetings with her, which were fun and which always made us feel like the planning process was in the best of hands and alleviated any planning stress we had immensely. Honestly it was just great to see her friendly face throughout our wedding day, during which we didn't have to worry about a single detail. Our wedding was perfect and felt completely magical (which is the word a lot of our guests used to describe it as well!) and we attribute this in VERY large part to having hired Kierstin. Our parents and guests who interacted with Kierstin loved her as well! We really can't thank you enough, Kierstin and Lovely Day!! - Hillary & Daniel

took the time and energy to create a safe space for learning and growth. She has a naturally kind way and manages her teams with poise and grace. I can't recommend her enough. We continue to keep in touch and are proud to have crossed paths with her and feel honored to have her as our planner. She is a true friend and demonstrated, talented professional who takes the complexities of planning a wedding and spins it into gold. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and we owe that to Kierstin. She allowed us to focus on our union and be present; something not everyone has the privilege to do. Kierstin allowed us that privilege and I will never forget it.
TL;DR Kierstin is amazing and we love her--Love u K!

n we could have ever imagined, and she truly made it feel like our day. She nimbly worked through difficult logistics, kept our priorities central to the planning process, and made our wedding so incredibly beautiful. Her quiet confidence and calm demeanor are fantastic assets for navigating lots of expectations that different stakeholders have for this momentous event. We love Kierstin and we cannot say enough good things about her.

y with our vision. Lovely Day helped us navigate rescheduling our wedding twice because of the pandemic. When our wedding was finally on the horizon, Lindsay was exceedingly hands-on with handling the minutia of coordinating and validating all of our vendors. To our very pleasant surprise, she kept us on time throughout the ceremony and reception. We would recommend this team 10/10 !
Lovely Day helped get us through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our wedding was in the first weekend of cancellations in March 2020, which meant everything was the worst case scenario of...
chaos. No one knew what to do, no one knew how to react, vendors were going out of business (and sometimes keeping our deposit or even our whole contract amount), and no wedding insurance on the market would have covered it. The wedding that had been so passionately planned by my wife and by Lovely Day for a year was canceled mere days before the event. It was devastating.
Lovely Day deftly and compassionately navigated situations during the cancellation and replanning that had no historical precedent. The pandemic was a very difficult time but there were some people who rose to the occasion to take care of their fellow American, fellow community member, or fellow human. Lovely Day went so far beyond what could have been expected from a normal business partnership because their passion is in their clients. To try to explain just how far they went “above and beyond” would simply be an exposé of my inadequacies as a writer.
When it finally came time for our long-rescheduled wedding, the Lovely Day team brought an amazing and flawlessly executed day to life. The wedding planner is the single most important decision you’ll make about your wedding. Don’t bother looking any further for the perfect partner in making it smooth, gorgeous, and uniquely suited to who you and your fiancé are as people and as a couple.
I cannot even begin to tell you how much we loved working with Kierstin! We already loved her but then, the dreaded COVID reschedule came (our original date was 03/28/20). Kierstin...
was so helpful and supportive during this time. It was so stressful and she not only helped us navigate the many twists and turns it brought, she was so gracious as we navigated our emotions. We changed the date for the big wedding but since we were only about a week out when the world changed we were so ready to be married we had a small private ceremony still. Kierstin had helped us create this beautiful wedding we wouldn’t get to see and she became so dear to us we asked her to officiate our private ceremony. She got ordained in the Church of Dudeism and wrote a beautiful opening for our ceremony. Then, at the rescheduled big event she read the lovely words she offered that day to our family and friends. So much work had to go in to reschedule and everything went off perfectly. Thanks so much to Lovely Day for making sure we still go our special day!

rdiantor that resulted in a lot of stress and frustration on the actual wedding day. Despite all of our challenges, the owner Kierstin has gone out of her way to rectify our concerns and express genuine regret for our negative experience. My advice if you are thinking of hiring Lovely Day is to work with Kierstin directly as your day or month of coordinator.
Kierstin and her team at Lovely Day are so organized, kind, and professional and I cannot say enough great things about them! She sees the vision you have for your event and helps ...
you bring it to life. My biggest fear leading up to my wedding was worrying and stressing on my wedding day/the months leading up to it. With Kierstin and her team, I can say with confidence that I didn't worry one second on the day of. I just knew they would handle any obstacle big or small that came their way.
Her checklist and timelines leading up to the wedding help to ease stress and truly let you take it one step at a time.
She is the best of the best and I cannot recommend Lovely Day enough!!
Kierstin with Lovely Day Events was an absolute pleasure to work with! We have gotten to know her over the course of about 3 years and 3 wedding dates (thank you covid) and she has...
been so incredibly helpful, creative, and overall just an amazing person. As a designer myself, I was always super picky with my ideas and aesthetic, but Kierstin and the Lovely Day team were so good about catering to my vision and bringing ideas to the table that matched my wedding vibe. I loved working with them and would recommend them to ANY bride whether you're super hands-on or not. She made our lives so much easier leading up to the wedding, and on our wedding day, we were stress-free thanks to Kierstin and her incredible attention to detail. She knows all the Austin vendors and is such a pleasure to work with and just have as a friend now :)
I don’t even know if I can put how amazing Kierstin is into words, but I will try! When I started planning my wedding, I had an idea of what I wanted but I am not one of those girl...
s that was blessed with “vision” and creativity— I grew up the only girl in a house of boys so we can blame it on that hah!
Our venue coordinator recommended Lovely Day, Kierstin specifically so I reached out and the rest is history. Kierstin was so patient with me, I have zero clue about flowers and I’m not very good at putting colors together but she asked so many questions and helped guide me into different ideas. When we finally had a game plan on the design, she did all of the coordinating and follow ups with vendors- I felt like I never had to experience the crazy wedding stress because every time I talked to her, she was so confident and had a plan for everything and everyone involved. And I can’t even begin to explain how ORGANIZED she is and her follow ups were always on time and ahead of schedule. If anything, she would be waiting on me at times haha!
On the day of my wedding, my bridesmaids and my mom kept saying that it was the most relaxing wedding day ever— there was truly nothing for us to do except get ready and drink ;) Every vendor was on time and throughout the day, Kierstin would come and give me quick reminders for whatever was coming up.
I got married in July and my dad (who is traditionally a tough man to impress) will to this day tell everyone that our coordinator is what made the day so great. Even our guests raved about how fun and smooth everything was! I can confidently say we didn’t have any hiccups at all — Kierstin is one in a million and the best at what she does.
I loved my wedding, and it’s true what they say, I would do it all over again but only if I could have Kierstin with me!

d knows the ropes, and handled everything so beautifully. It was a dream wedding come true and we felt in such good hands with Kierstin. Based on her experience, she gave us honest, good advice. We had a lot of out of town guests so having a wedding planner was key to organizing all the logistics. When the weather was turning really cold (most everything was planned for outside) she quickly secured very attractive heaters from the rental company before anyone else in Austin could grab them. Way to go, Kierstin! We highly recommend Lovely Day Events! You will not be disappointed and you will be able to relax at the wedding with her in charge!
Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic seemed very overwhelming but the second I interviewed Kierstin, I knew she would get it done. Kierstin is the kindest, most patient, ...
professional, yet very approachable, planner you’ll ever get. She made the whole process stress free and was always available to chat and make sure my questions and concerns were answered. Even for things that were completely out of her control, like losing my voice the night before my wedding, she went out of her way to get me a humidifier and tea for my throat. Kierstin genuinely cares about her couples and she made it clear to us by the time and attention she always gave us. I actually forgot that she was also planning other weddings in the year and a half we worked together because I felt like I had her all to myself. I also appreciated the assistants she used to help the day of my wedding. They were equally as kind and professional as Kierstin was and stayed with me until I was tucked away in my honeymoon sweet at 2:30am. If you do one thing for your wedding, make sure it’s to hire The Lovely Day. I seriously miss my routine calls with Kierstin now that my wedding is over!
Kierstin helped me design my destination Austin wedding in six months from start to finish, and the entire wedding experience ran flawlessly because of Kierstin's meticulous time, ...
effort, and attention to detail throughout the entire process. When I first met Kierstin at a vendor open house, I knew immediately that she had expertise and an eye for design that were unmatched. Because I work full time, Kierstin was so accommodating with her schedule to make sure every decision was taken care of and that the process wasn't stressful for me. Because she got to know me on a personal level, she was able to tailor details to match exactly what I was looking for. I am not from the Austin area, and having Kierstin's knowledge of great vendors was so valuable. From big decisions like vendors to the smallest design details, Kierstin made everything happen. Our guests still rave about how amazing the entire wedding was, and it would not have been the same without Lovely Day Events. I am forever grateful for her time and effort that made our day an absolute dream!

onalities and I was worried a wedding planner might tempt us down a more "tried-and-tested" path. But, the pandemic changed our mind. We were new to the area and had no idea where to start planning a wedding -- let alone planning one during a global crisis. When we spoke to Kierstin for the first time it was clear she was going to be a perfect fit. I'm so thankful we chose Lovely Day Events because the event would NOT have been the same without Kierstin, her attention to detail, expert advice, and flawless execution. From our very first conversation, it was clear she was going to take the time to get to know us and create an experience -- not just a wedding -- that fit our needs. She was knowledgeable, organized, personable, supportive, proactive, kind, and solution-oriented. She also struck the right balance of bringing to life what we said we wanted while encouraging tweaks to ensure the integrity of the event. She built our trust quickly, giving us peace of mind that every single detail was under control. I was never stressed, never felt decision fatigued, and truly ENJOYED the wedding planning process. She took care of the dirty work, leaving our hearts and minds open for the fun parts! As a type-a personality, being able to turn the day over to her with total confidence that it would (and did!!!) turn out better than my wildest dreams was a huge gift. I could not recommend Kierstin more highly. p.s. She also revamped the wedding from a 100 person event to a 10 person event as a result of the pandemic without even breaking a sweat. If that doesn't speak to her planning chops, I don't know what does.

Kierstin is the best. It was a joy working with her even with our wedding having to be rescheduled due to Covid. A few things that make Kierstin a pleasure to plan your wedding wit...
h:
1. She genuinely cares and makes it abundantly clear. She is invested in your wedding being fabulous and exactly what you want it to be
2. She gets to know her clients and understands what you're looking for. She takes the time to get to know both partners, what matters to you, what doesn't, and the kind of wedding you want to have. Then she helps make that a reality and helps you prioritize the things that matter to you and deprioritize the things that don't
3. She has an amazing eye. She designed our entire reception set up (bars, place settings, tablecloths, etc.) and it looked incredible. She is an artist and will create something objectively beautiful, but even more important, in keeping with what you want / like
4. She is a joy to work with. Covid caused us to reschedule our 200 person wedding weeks before our date. Rescheduling with some vendors was a nightmare. Kierstin was always there for us as a support, advocate, cheerleader, therapist, etc. She never got frustrated and was a stabilizing presence during an extremely stressful and emotional time
5. She sweats the details. She knows that getting the little things right matters to make a wedding go smoothly and she makes sure it happens. She went above and beyond on our wedding day, setting up our day of signage / decor, even steaming my dress. She is there for you for the big things and the small things and will make SURE that your wedding is exactly what you want it to be
6. She is unflappable. Planning a wedding (even not during Covid) is stressful. Kierstin is your partner through the whole thing and has a beautiful, calming presence that makes the whole process easier and more enjoyable
Long story short, if you want to have a unique, gorgeous, fun wedding, Kierstin will make it happen. And her prices are reasonable for the level of personalization and service she provides. Hiring Kierstin as your planner is one of the best decisions you can make.

e-plan a beautiful wedding under these unbelievable circumstances, and never appeared anything but calm and confident the entire time. It was such a relief and reassurance for the rest of the vendor team and I'm sure to the couple and their families. Her professionalism and organization would be an absolute asset to any wedding, and I can't wait to work with the and Lovely Day Events again.
I was trying to plan a wedding in Austin while living in NYC and after a long and unsuccessful search for a wedding venue, I was lucky to find Kierstin with Lovely Day events. She ...
was incredibly organized, calm, and excited to figure out what my fiance and I wanted for our wedding. She has a four phase system in place to keep couples on track while planning but also to keep the process from being too overwhelming. As someone who had never really thought of what my wedding 'vision' or 'dream wedding' would be, she was great at helping me talk through different details of the wedding to figure out what I wanted. She was also extremely accommodating to my very busy work schedule when setting up meeting times and giving us a realistic amount of tasks we were able to accomplish. We were almost finished with planning and then the COVID pandemic hit and we had to postpone our wedding. She worked through all the changes we had to make, the re-negotiation of contracts with our vendors, and re-configuring our wedding to be safe during the pandemic. She did all of it with such grace and ease that despite everything we were able to plan a more beautiful wedding than I could have ever imagined. My now husband and I have told her many times, we never would have been able to have such a beautiful wedding with our family and close friends if it hadn't been for all her work! Kierstin was absolutely wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in Austin!
We had our wedding in the midst of the Covid pandemic on 6.20.20! We had been planning our wedding for over a year and we initially went back and forth on the idea of hiring a coor...
dinator since we pretty much knew what we wanted already and had our vendors, but we ultimately decided to go ahead and get one to help with the day of details and boy am I glad we did! Stephanie was our wedding coordinator and she totally rocked it! Because of Covid we waited until about 30 days out to even attempt to decide if we should move our wedding date or not. Given the short amount of time we gave her she communicated with all of our vendors and got our timeline planned out for that day so when the time came everything went smoothly! She made our day so perfect and I didn’t have to worry about anything! She was the prime go to for everything that day, I never had to second guess anything which made the day so enjoyable! Other than just being a great coordinator her and her assistants turned into being more like great friends, I truly enjoyed having them by my side and would do it all again!! <3 If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator I highly recommend making the investment, it wouldn’t have been the same without her!

ere busy with work and school or simply just slow to make decisions. The monthly check-ins were very helpful to talk through options, organize information, figure out how to prioritize decisions and agree on next steps.
Kierstin was honest and forthright in handling issues as they arose. She also did an excellent job at adjusting to different communication and work styles -- knowing when to push and when to hold off or be more gentle depending on the circumstances.
Since we do not live in Texas, we leaned on Kierstin for vendor recommendations and she helped us line up an all-star team of professionals for everything across the board from catering to entertainment. Not to mention that she was very cognizant of our budget and helped us find economical options without jeopardizing quality. Our guests raved about the food, drinks, service, venue, and music!
I had a hard time articulating what I wanted for flowers and decor. Kierstin was a great listener and understood my preferences. She helped me put together a color palette and articulated what I wanted to our florist. This was one detail among many other interactions and touches where Kierstin went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding vision came to life.
Leading up to the wedding day, Kierstin shared a detailed wedding timeline with our vendors. She also reached out to our families and wedding party to share key contact information, the day-of detailed timeline, and Austin recommendations since everyone was coming from out of town which was such a nice touch and thoughtful gesture.
Kierstin and her team handled the wedding day in a very competent and professional manner. It was flawless! We were so grateful to be able to enjoy the day and not have to worry about logistics behind the scenes because we knew Kierstin was on top of everything. Our wedding would not have been the same without her. It was such a joyful day filled with good energy all around and everything flowed seamlessly. I would HIGHLY recommend Kierstin and her team!

h about seeing our vision and priorities come to fruition and our entire wedding day went so perfectly and seamlessly because of her! She was incredibly professional, warm, and quick to provide information, ideas and advice whenever I needed help. She was always five steps (or 500) ahead of me and my scattered brain, and helped me stay on top of deadlines and to-do lists. Stephanie was so reliable and organized and constantly took so much off my plate, allowing me to enjoy being engaged and not get swallowed up by planning! I highly recommend Lovely Day Events to anyone looking for a fantastic team of experts who will transform your wedding and help your day-of go smoothly so that you can enjoy what really matters-getting married and celebrating with your closest people! Thank you, Lovely Day Events, for everything!

Our wedding day would not have happened without the support and guidance from Kierstin Schupack. My husband & I began working with Lovely Day Events in November 2018, when I had th...
e realization that I could not plan our dream wedding while working full-time and living in Atlanta. From the first moment I spoke with Kierstin on the phone, I knew that she was the wedding planner I wanted to work with, as no one else even compared. For our first in-person meeting, Kierstin drove out to Dripping Springs on a weekend to visit me, spent time showing me her site "Aisle Planner," and offered me hands-on practical support. She was kind, authentic, and a great listener. I felt instantly calm and affirmed, which is something so beautiful during a wedding process. Moving forward, we worked with Kierstin from this meeting frequently until our wedding day on October 12, 2019. Kierstin scheduled regular meetings with me, allowed me to have a few freak-out moments along the way with no judgement, sent me flowers & gifts throughout wedding planning (seriously!!!), and truly cares about my husband & I as people outside of the wedding process. She had worksheets for us to fill out, thought about everything in advance, and helped teach me the unspoken rules of weddings (like gratuity & all the details of a contract). Fast-forward to the wedding day itself, and Kierstin was the leader behind-the-curtains of our show: keeping everything moving on schedule, making amazing executive calls, and allowing me to really live in every moment. Kierstin is selfless, kind, organized, and genuine. She is the real-life "Mary Poppins" and I am so blessed to have met her through this process. There is no better wedding planner for your special day, and I hope that you get the pleasure to meet & know Kierstin and her team.
Kierstin was absolutely a joy to work with! She flawlessly executed a VIP Wedding here in June, and we immediately added her to our Preferred Vendor List. She is extremely calm, f...
ocused, and detail oriented. She communicates very clearly, ensuring to confirm even the tiniest of details so that any potential confusion is eliminated. Her polite demeanor and confident nature made it very easy to work with her. She diligently and efficiently works for her clients while maintaining a respectful, courteous and professional relationship with onsite staff, coordinators, and vendors. I would be honored and the Resort would be lucky to work with Kierstin again more often. To all of you who may be considering Kierstin as your planner, look forward to a simply wonderful experience! She will put your mind at ease and help you relax while she tackles all of your details with poise and grace, all the while keeping you informed and educated. Cheers to Kierstin!

d not have been better. We were beyond impressed with the level of care, detail, and professionalism displayed. Carissa cares about her couples, and her personal interest and investment makes her go above and beyond her call of duty. Our wedding would not have been the same without Carissa and team of Lovely Day. She was always a quick email or phone call away and truly listened to execute our vision. It is without hesitation that I recommend Lovely Day to anyone who wants to work with a qualified team who is truly willing to make any dream a reality. Our gratitude goes beyond words.

, and Kierstin brought them together beautifully. Everything was still classy and fun. The execution was perfect. We also had to plan everything remotely because we didn't live in Austin, but never once was I worried, knowing that Kierstin was there. Hands down one of the best wedding planners in Austin!

ed in your wedding and ready to make it the most fantastic day of your life. She was very receptive to my likes and dislikes, and is a very clear communicator. She planned everything out to the finest detail. She was patient with me, and super responsive even when she was on an airplane! It really was an amazing experience, and I don't think it could have come together any better. Carissa, thank you so much for planning our wedding. I miss meeting you at coffee shops and checking Aisle Planner for your detailed notes!

nd when you know, you know. If you don't leave your wedding night sad that you no longer get to work with someone you can now consider a friend- why even have a planner? What I loved most about working with Lovely Day was the honesty. They were always very transparent and open with communication- I could not have asked for a better team to work with. Our wedding day wouldn't have been half as perfect if we didn't have our sweet Carissa. XOXO

vendor recommendations she knew were A+ and reliable, organized all the small details that would have inevitably been overlooked, provided advice, and kept us on schedule. We probably weren't her best clients in terms of staying on deadlines, but she was always calm and provided gentle reminders of what we needed to decide on and get done :) And the wedding day... everything ran so smoothly because of her and her assistant's organization and attention to detail.
Without a doubt, I would recommend Lovely Day Events to any bride looking for a partner to help guide you through the wedding planning process. I will truly miss our regular check-ins!
