I had the opportunity to work with Dana from Lovely Event Co. and she truly was the best thing that could have happened to our wedding. Her communication, kindness, and her eye for detail and knowing what you want as the bride did not go unnoticed through the whole process. The planning of months up to the actual wedding day, her and her team did a phenomenal job. I could not recommend Dana and Lovely Event Co. more!

We used Lovely Events Co to help us plan our daughters out of state wedding. The partial planning option was just what we needed. Elizabeth had the perfect temperament to work with for both the bride to be and Mother of the bride, calming our fears, encouraging, educating, assisting, directing, supporting, and providing resources to us that we greatly appreciated and really needed. Their presence and expertise assisting us in the decision making was so helpful. The professionalism was top notch. The day of the wedding was fun and low stress knowing that Elizabeth and her assistants had everything under control so we could fully enjoy ourselves. Thank you Lovely Events Co.

There aren’t enough good things to say about Dana and Lovely Event Co. From the day we met Dana, it was evident that not only would she be a perfect fit, but that she would take care of every detail of every part of the process. Dana exhibited extreme professionalism and incredible communication. She made sure to have regular zoom meetings to discuss details and next steps, provided extremely detailed checklists, and consistently made sure we knew exactly what was needed or what she was working on for us. Dana made sure that our wedding day was exactly what we wanted and that it was catered perfectly to us as a couple. She spent time with us on trips to the venue and tastings, and even went out of her way to find and create personalized decor for us. On the wedding day itself, Dana and her team were impeccable with timing, coordination, and making sure everything was perfect. There wasn’t a worry in my mind the entire process or wedding day, which is a priceless feeling itself. Dana was more than just our planner, but became a friend as well that we will miss working with dearly. When my daughter became engaged, it filled by heart with joy and I’ve truly taken to her fiancé, a wonderful man. My daughter started the process of planning the wedding and I quickly witnessed the torment she was going through but further, without the aid of a Wedding Planner / Coordinator, she would also not enjoy her grand day, worrying about all the going’s on, of the day itself. Therefore, as a gift to my daughter and her fiancé, I began the process of interviewing planning professionals. I actually spoke with several and didn’t want to compromise on my personal expectations nor compromise on the experience of the Planner. I finally connected with Dana. One of the strongest attributes of any professional is the ability to listen without overriding the perspective client’s speech. Dana is outstanding at listening. Is a meticulous record keeper. I was very impressed with her ability to receive direction or requests and for it never to come up again, until a resolution was presented. Impressive ability! She was also able to provide the balance of what my daughter wanted without pushing an uncomfortable engagement. She was extremely respectful of the budget and stayed within it. Not once did she present a proposal that exceeded the budget or expectations. Its also a valuable asset to have a professional that has a string of vender professionals that know where their bread is buttered. Specifically, Dana’s list of venders are excellent and performed very well. If you are considering a Planner, you’re not just hiring the professional’s experience as a Planner but you’re also getting the management of the vender’s and insurance that they will perform, as the consequences for they’re poor performance will cost them jobs in the future (with the Planner’s firm). The venue was spread out on a large piece of property and her assistants were as hard working as Dana was. The day of the event, there were a lot of moving parts, not once was I concerned about anything happening incorrectly or out of balance from the expectations. Thorough and Detailed: Along with Dana’s meticulous record keeping and planning, she employs software where the client (my daughter) is able to track the progress of the event’s planning. From budgeting, payments, due dates etc. All-encompassing tracking system. This can’t be undervalued. As the one writing the checks, I found it immensely beneficial and helpful to have this available. While I gather this may be the norm, her platform was easy to read, use and deploy, in short, the user-interface (UI) was outstanding. Personality: Dana and a strong, well balanced pro, simply put. She listens well, issues recommendations in a way that’s not intrusive and quite complimentary. She knows where the planning holes are and has a way of delivering in a confident way. Also, impressive. That said, one should not underestimate her kindness for a weakness. I witnessed her confident direction giving to the venders, the day of the event and its clear they respect her. In closing, you can go on and plan an event, (not just a wedding) on your own. I don’t recommend it. Dana and her team is worth every penny and our gratuity spoke to our satisfaction. There is no doubt that we’ll be using Dana again. She’s able to plan / coordinate destination events, well beyond local events. Her experience is an asset that yields amazing results. When my now-husband and I got engaged, I knew I wanted to hire a day of coordinator to help alleviate some of the stress of the big day. Dana was the biggest help as our wedding coordinator! When she hopped on board it really helped things fall into place. She was knowledgeable about everything, took control of reaching out to vendors and getting a timeline in place. Not only did she get a bug out of my veil before I walked down the aisle, but she also made sure a dog who wandered up while we were taking photos didn't step on my dress, but she also made the day run smoothly and I didn't have to worry about anything with her there. Working with her took a lot of stress out of wedding planning and I couldn't recommend her more!

Shannon Lepard was our lead planner that we hired while under RK Events, and she was great to work with. We had weekly calls to check in on progress and status, making sure we stayed on track of due dates. She was a wealth of information and logistical help. We chose a partial planning service, as I am in the design field, and it was SO much help to have her recommend vendors for our budget and my vision. RK Events/ Lovely Event Co. uses Aisle Planner, which was one of my favorite tools! It houses a checklist to keep you on track, as well as everything you need to stay organized; down to layout out our assigned seating (if you have a seated dinner). We got married at the Dallas Arboretum, which poses a lot of logistical issues on load in and strike, and Shannon was great to execute it all in our small timeframe allotted. We are so happy with how everything turned out! Thank you Shannon!!

Dana stepped in to help assist my wedding two days before I walked down the aisle. Our original wedding planner dropped the ball and could not help the weekend of. We had the best time working with Monique at RK Weddings. She went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly the day of, and she helped us navigate the complex planning process. We decided to use a wedding planner since we were not originally from Dallas, and were lost in the sea of wedding vendors. HIRE THESE PLANNERS. Rachael was my planner and she was absolutely unreal. She knew the answer to all of my questions, suggested countless incredible vendors, and basically held my hand throughout the whole wedding process - I needed it. She is the queen of weddings and will handle any bumps in the road with knowledge and grace. She is a calming presence and has years of experience. She even pulled off a last minute (day before) venue change and literally saved our wedding. If you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further than Rachael and her team. Family and friends are still talking about our wedding, saying it was the best they have ever been to! That is all because of Rachael and her team. I am better for knowing her!

Every person I was in contact with was great. Meeting with Rachel first was a great intro to the company. I felt confident that we had found the right people. Once I met Shannon, we instantly clicked and I feel her personality complimented mine perfectly! She was able to keep me grounded when I would get too carried away with ideas. But she also was so encouraging and supportive with all my ideas. We had booked the partial planning package pretty early on in our planning. But she would check in at least every month and see how everything was. Once we got a lot closer, she would check in multiple times via email and was always available via text. We had most of our vendors, but our favorite ones were actually the ones she had found for us! She was a vital part of our wedding as there were multiple problems that came up. She handled them swiftly and let my husband and I truly enjoy our special night. We loved working with Shannon and feel we couldn’t have done it without her. We also used their hotel blocking service. Monique was great and very communicative! There was an issue with the liaison for the hotels we used, but she was so helpful in resolving that problem. Overall, it was a very helpful service. The hotels we chose were 30 minutes away from our venue. Overall, we’re so happy and externally grateful to the whole RK weddings team. There’s no replacement for their expertise and guidance!

I cannot express my gratitude enough for Dana. She hands down was the most amazing and organized wedding planner ever. From day one she was so great to work with ensuring she had a checklist for me to work through months before the big day. On the big day, everything went so smoothly and she stayed so calm (and kept me calm all throughout the day which is crucial!). We had the absolute pleasure of working with Monique at our wedding in Aubrey. Monique was absolutely amazing helping us to coordinate our wedding in Dallas. We live in NYC so we were dealing with getting everything done either virtually or with limited trips out to Dallas, and she was fantastic in both sourcing appropriate vendors for our vision (which wasn't very traditional, so we had to make sure we got vendors who were willing/able to handle it) and coordinating all the virtual and in-person meetings. She made sure all our tiny little last-minute details were taken care of - which was something we desperately needed as we would have for sure forgotten something important otherwise. She was also so amazing to have on-site during the wedding itself; she made sure everything moved along smoothly and my husband and I got food/drinks/time to ourselves. I highly, highly recommend RK and Monique for wedding planning!

As mother of the bride, I was very happy for my daughter's choice of her wedding planner Monique. My daughter's wedding was March 19th, 2022. We had her full time a year ago, and she helped every step of the way, responded to any questions or concerns quickly. We met with her a few times before the wedding, and is on top of being very professional.. the sweetest person! Our wedding had several details to tie together, I do not know how Monique did it, but the wedding day was absolutely magical and just what we had envisioned. Our wedding day and the planning up to it couldn’t have been more pleasant. Our planner was (or should I say “is”, bc I will always have her as a planner for anything huge going forward) on top of everything and made the entire process so much less stressful than it would have been on its own. She pays attention to detail and directs things but also gives you freedom to figure out what you want and how you want it! I could go on and on about her and how well she does her job but the main thing is that she became a friend and fully invests into her clients and that was the very best part.

Rachael and her team made my wedding day the party of my dreams! No details were left out. I didn't feel an ounce of anxiety the day of because I was so confident in the RKW&E team. Rachael is so helpful, kind, and realistic. Jessie was our 60 day planner from RK and she did such a wonderful job! I am a very organized person that loves to plan, so I debated on even hiring a planner. I am so glad that I did!! She ensured that everything ran smoothly and she handled all hiccups professionally as well as quickly and efficiently. She made sure that my needs and wants were met and was able to execute all plans and details. Her team was more than willing to help with the small amount of decor set up that was required (guest book table, seating chart, dance floor fun items, signs, candle lighting) with no problem or hesitations. There were some minor hiccups but she found solutions before I even knew about the issue. We were sad that our time together ended but are so grateful we had Dana for our wedding planning journey. Our wedding was truly a dreamy night thanks to Rachael and her team at RK Weddings & Events! She clearly articulated the plans and procedures until every personal felt confident in their role and the timing of their role. Her experience even knew to have a back up plan to deal small things such as if "the two year old ring bearer couldn't make it down the aisle". The Wedding Day: From the second Jessie arrived I relaxed. By this point, RK Weddings & Events and Jessie had instilled so much confidence in me that I knew her team could and would handle everything. If any small issues came up, Jessie would quietly take me aside to communicate to me. The most amazing part was that she had already solved the issue and was just informing me. RK Weddings & Events made my husband and my day so enjoyable - a gift parents of the bride don't often receive. Our experience with Reilly and the RK team was absolutely Fantastic from start to finish! Planning a wedding out of state can be stressful!
