s-down the best decision we made. Her services were worth every penny (and more, quite honestly.) In the year leading up to the wedding, Dana sourced almost every single one of our vendors. She communicated with them, was responsive to every email and text, and scheduled calls and check-ins to make sure we were all aligned. She had software and platforms that walked us through the entire process, from RSVPs and meal selections to tracking addresses and more. Wedding planning is stressful, and Dana lifted so much of that stress, not only through her organized and meticulous approach, but also through her warm and sunshiney personality. She was incredibly emotionally supportive throughout the entire process. Up until the wedding, I thought I couldn’t possibly be more grateful for Dana. I was wrong. She is the sole reason our wedding went SO perfectly. She kept us on schedule, knew the answer to every question, made sure I kept my head on straight, and communicated seamlessly with all of the vendors throughout the evening. I received countless compliments from guests about Dana and her services, with my dad being her biggest fan. Most importantly, we presented her with a budget, and while Dana is the sweetest human, she does not shy away from keeping it 100% real. She was very honest with us about what to expect within our budget. She tracked every penny, and by the end of the wedding, we actually came out over $4K under budget. Had she not been open with us about costs, supplied us with solid and affordable vendors, provided us with a proper budget spreadsheet, and set realistic expectations about how much things cost, we would have been screwed. Planning a wedding for almost 200 people is way beyond our expertise, and we were thrilled to have Dana to rely on. She absolutely delivered. I cannot say thank you enough times. n the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, she provided us with a level of organization for tasks that we would otherwise never have been thinking about, and because of that, the week and day of the wedding were so incredibly stress free, because everything had already been handled! can be a lot to handle because I am.... well...neurotic. I worry and/or stress about everything. Monique handled all my worries and fears with ease. She even empowered me when I felt bad about decisions I was making. She worked with my busy schedule when I started a new job during wedding prep (do not recommend doing that). The list goes on and on. I am so sad that the planning process is over and that I don't get to talk to her every week. When prep was all said and done Monique made our wedding day perfect. At the end of the day people are going to people and you cannot control everything... so let your planner! Just kidding. Listen to Monique when she says something is not going to matter. every single one. Our timeline ran perfect and Dana made sure we were fed and well hydrated all night. Dana is also not afraid to tell you when you are wrong which is 100% what you need when you are in the bridal clouds going crazy planning. One factor you do not think about is boxing up all the decor after. My decor had to travel from Dallas back to KC and her team packed everything so perfect, nothing broke or shifted in transit. That is unreal! Best decision was hiring Dana!

kly witnessed the torment she was going through but further, without the aid of a Wedding Planner / Coordinator, she would also not enjoy her grand day, worrying about all the going’s on, of the day itself. Therefore, as a gift to my daughter and her fiancé, I began the process of interviewing planning professionals. I actually spoke with several and didn’t want to compromise on my personal expectations nor compromise on the experience of the Planner. I finally connected with Dana. One of the strongest attributes of any professional is the ability to listen without overriding the perspective client’s speech. Dana is outstanding at listening. Is a meticulous record keeper. I was very impressed with her ability to receive direction or requests and for it never to come up again, until a resolution was presented. Impressive ability! She was also able to provide the balance of what my daughter wanted without pushing an uncomfortable engagement. She was extremely respectful of the budget and stayed within it. Not once did she present a proposal that exceeded the budget or expectations. Its also a valuable asset to have a professional that has a string of vender professionals that know where their bread is buttered. Specifically, Dana’s list of venders are excellent and performed very well. If you are considering a Planner, you’re not just hiring the professional’s experience as a Planner but you’re also getting the management of the vender’s and insurance that they will perform, as the consequences for they’re poor performance will cost them jobs in the future (with the Planner’s firm). The venue was spread out on a large piece of property and her assistants were as hard working as Dana was. The day of the event, there were a lot of moving parts, not once was I concerned about anything happening incorrectly or out of balance from the expectations. Thorough and Detailed: Along with Dana’s meticulous record keeping and planning, she employs software where the client (my daughter) is able to track the progress of the event’s planning. From budgeting, payments, due dates etc. All-encompassing tracking system. This can’t be undervalued. As the one writing the checks, I found it immensely beneficial and helpful to have this available. While I gather this may be the norm, her platform was easy to read, use and deploy, in short, the user-interface (UI) was outstanding. Personality: Dana and a strong, well balanced pro, simply put. She listens well, issues recommendations in a way that’s not intrusive and quite complimentary. She knows where the planning holes are and has a way of delivering in a confident way. Also, impressive. That said, one should not underestimate her kindness for a weakness. I witnessed her confident direction giving to the venders, the day of the event and its clear they respect her. In closing, you can go on and plan an event, (not just a wedding) on your own. I don’t recommend it. Dana and her team is worth every penny and our gratuity spoke to our satisfaction. There is no doubt that we’ll be using Dana again. She’s able to plan / coordinate destination events, well beyond local events. Her experience is an asset that yields amazing results. But she also was so encouraging and supportive with all my ideas. We had booked the partial planning package pretty early on in our planning. But she would check in at least every month and see how everything was. Once we got a lot closer, she would check in multiple times via email and was always available via text. We had most of our vendors, but our favorite ones were actually the ones she had found for us! She was a vital part of our wedding as there were multiple problems that came up. She handled them swiftly and let my husband and I truly enjoy our special night. We loved working with Shannon and feel we couldn’t have done it without her. We also used their hotel blocking service. Monique was great and very communicative! There was an issue with the liaison for the hotels we used, but she was so helpful in resolving that problem. Overall, it was a very helpful service. The hotels we chose were 30 minutes away from our venue. Overall, we’re so happy and externally grateful to the whole RK weddings team. There’s no replacement for their expertise and guidance!
