Wedding planning with Jen from Lovely Events felt like planning my wedding with a friend! Jen is extremely kind and supportive, and she was my strongest advocate throughout the entire wedding planning process. Being a bride is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and so once I got engaged and started looking into what goes into a wedding, I quickly became overwhelmed and confused in many aspects as I had never done anything like this before. Hiring Jen was the best decision I made in planning my wedding, and I can confidently say all brides who work with her will feel the same (there's a reason my family has worked with her twice!). Her immense expertise and knowledge in the industry removed all of my overwhelm and confusion. Her planning system and process is fantastic and ensures that every detail, big and small, is perfected before the big day. If I ever had any questions or concerns, she was always available to hop on a call to discuss, or even meet in person to review physical components such as linens. She made my vision for my dream wedding day come to life not only because of her talent for executing beautiful weddings and her extreme attention to detail, but more because she truly cares for her brides and takes the time to understand their desires. On my wedding day, guests commented on how seamlessly the day ran and I felt at ease the entire time knowing Jen and her amazing team were there keeping the timeline, making sure everything was operating smoothly, and that every part of my wedding day look remained looking perfect. Jen and her team were exceptional partners in our wedding planning experience. We worked with Jen over the course of a year and a half prior to our wedding and she kept us on track and informed throughout the whole process. From deciding on vendors, to workshopping design and layout ideas, to planning all of the logistics of the day and weekend, Jen and her team were consistent, flexible, and creative resources to rely on throughout.
Jen, Riley, and Kacie were also absolutely essential the day of and ensured that everything ran incredibly smoothly and on time, but never rushed. We had a lot of moving logistical elements and it all came together without a hitch.
My husband and I are definitely type A planners and we felt totally at ease with everything in the Lovely Event teams' hands that day. We also had a blast! I would highly recommend Jen and her team! Thank you Lovely Events!
Jennifer was amazing. She was truly able to make our dream wedding into a reality. During the planning process she kept us organized, gave us amazing options for vendors, and made sure everything was done on schedule. Jen and her team were fantastic during the wedding and made sure that every detail was attended to. I would absolutely recommend using her to help plan your wedding.
Jennifer was a life saver for our recent wedding at the Liberty Warehouse. She provided detailed vendor recommendations, particularly on the florist (who we loved!), and kept us organized (and sane) in the busy weeks leading up to the event. The highlight for me was her suggestion to interleave each of our courses with our planned dance routines and sets, which people keep telling us to this day was one of the most creative ways to get them on the dance floor.
I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anybody looking for a day of coordinator, a wedding planner, or anything in between. You will not regret it!
Jen and her team are exceptional. We got married in April at Blue Hill and we booked the partial planning option with Lovely and we are so glad that we did. The partial planning option was perfect for us -- Jen provided in depth vendor recommendations, assistance with putting together a florist proposal (which was veryyyy helpful!), 12-month timeline and she was always available to us for questions along the way. Then, 2 months before our wedding things really kicked up a notch. Jen was very involved and had regular Zoom and email check-ins with us. She and her team coordinated with all of our vendors and put together a comprehensive timeline. They handled all of the little things that I would never have thought of and luckily didn't have to worry about because Jen had it under control. All of our vendors also loved working with Jen - which makes everything feel great. On the day of the wedding, Jen was amazing. When we were a bit behind schedule she never made us feel rushed or panicked and somehow got us back on schedule. My cousin-in-law who got married the summer before was amazed at how much better Jen and her team were than her own wedding planner (sad, but true!!). If you're getting married at Blue Hill or at another venue in or around Westchester/Upstate NY - you should book Lovely. I recommend Jen so wholeheartedly. We are so appreciative of all of her help and her calm leadership!
I had the pleasure of working with Jen for our wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns and cannot recommend her highly enough! Throughout the entire process, Jen was attentive, patient, and accommodating to all of our needs. In the planning phase, Jen was extremely helpful - she gave us great suggestions on vendors and on how to structure our wedding day. On our wedding day, Jen was absolutely amazing! Everything in her control went exactly as planned. Jen handled last minute weather changes with the calmness and confidence we needed. She was able to work with the venue to quickly move our ceremony to be covered and our cocktail hour indoors. Despite the sudden change, our ceremony and cocktail hour were absolutely beautiful.
Jen was incredibly easy to work with and made us feel supported from start to finish. I highly recommend working with her and will definitely reach out to Jen for any future events!
Jen and the Lovely team were AWESOME. She was so fun to work with and was on top of every single detail to help ensure our wedding day went smoothly. I loved feeling like I was working with a seasoned professional!!! Further, Jen also made an awesome suggestion to our day-of itinerary, where we would have dance sets in between meals because we wanted more dancing. Our guests LOVED it and so many people came up to us to say how much fun it was!!! Thanks Jen for an awesome event and I highly recommend working with her to plan your wedding!
We cannot recommend Jen and Lovely Events enough! We had Jen come on as a partial planner as I had some experience "planning" my sisters wedding years prior, but I quickly realized we needed an expert this time around. Jen was so easy to work with, she was very responsive and no question was too small. She was also able to guide us on any decisions we had and we trusted her expertise! I wasn't sure what to expect with having a wedding planner but Jen went above and beyond anything I thought of! She seamlessly took over as the wedding neared, which put all our nerves at ease. And with so many moving parts on the day of, Jen still managed to come by and pick up all day of items to bring to the venue so we had one less thing to worry about! At the venue, Jen and her assistants Riley and Grace, were amazing! They were always checking in with me and my family to make sure everyone was comfortable while making sure all the vendors were set and things were on schedule. They were also so accomodating when we made some very last minute changes and they did it all with a smile! Jen and her team truly want to make your big day as calm and easy as possible and they definitely suceeded in that! We 10000% recommend Lovely Events and wish we could get married again if only to work with Jen again.
Jennifer Andauer was a dream to work with across two weddings. Organized, calm and efficient. I cant recommend her and her team any higher. For both weddings, she was just perfect for us- her demeanor is everything!

On the day, Jen, Kacie, and Grace were both seamlessly managing all of our vendors, but also paid us the utmost care, constantly making sure we had what we needed and that we were comfortable and having a great time.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jen who made our special day truly magical and a dream come true. From start to finish, Jen listened attentively, was patient, and accommodated all of our needs. She was flexible, super responsive, and did all the necessary behind-the-scenes work to ensure the most stress free experience leading up to and at the wedding. On the wedding day, she was agile and responded promptly to last minute requests (there were a couple!) without hiccups. Her team Kacie and Riley did an amazing job ensuring all details were adhered to and that we were taken care of. It truly made us feel supported and at ease on our special day. If you are recently engaged and feeling overwhelmed with how to start planning, please consider working with Jen. Although I had a general vision of what I wanted my wedding to be - Jen and her team helped execute it perfectly with their attention to detail, planning abilities, and an overall calm demeanor that made a stressful process much more enjoyable.
I hired Jen for partial planning, which included her providing me with an amazing platform to track what needed to be done, record guests and responses, save inspiration, keep track of budget and vendors, and much more. She also meticulously kept in touch with all my vendors and joined all our check in calls. She was there every step of the way - reviewing my invites, gathering information and coordinating with each vendor, and answering any and all questions I had.
The day of coordination service Jen and her assistant Riley provided is what really blew me away. It began with Jen checking in with me and picking up all the decor and favors I had amassed. She was then waiting to greet us at the venue and put everyone at ease with directions and cues. Your wedding day is filled with MANY emotional highs and lows, and she was there for all of it. We also had to change a few details and add in some (I had totally forgotten to plan a bouquet toss), and her and Riley were able to work in forgotten details at the drop of a hat.
Overall, please do not hesistate to have Jen support you in your wedding process. I cannot imagine what we would have done without her, and am so grateful that we went with Jen for so many reasons!
We cannot say enough positive things about Jen and the Lovely Event Planning team! We hired Jen around 9 months before our wedding when I quickly became overwhelmed by the wedding planning process. I had never even been to a wedding before (let alone planned one!) — so Jen had a lot on her hands! But Jen helped me through every aspect of the wedding planning process with kindness, support, and incredible expertise handling much of the vendor communications, attending pre-wedding events, and visiting the venues with me. With Jen's help, I was able to put together the wedding I had always dreamed of, and also enjoy it, too! On the day of, Jen and the Lovely Events Team were such a huge help as well (including fluffing my skirt and handling the bustle) on top of coordinating our day-of timeline. We can't recommend them enough. Thank you for making our day so special!
I’m endlessly grateful to Jen and her team for helping to make our dream wedding a reality. From the jump, Jen was always available as a resource and was super responsive to all of my emails/calls/texts. Every vendor she recommended was 10/10 and she made wedding planning a breeze, particularly in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I was anticipating lots of stress, but she was on top of every detail. My day went flawlessly, thanks to Jen and her assistants Kacie and Riley. Our families and bridal party were so impressed by their professionalism and attentiveness. I was initially hesitant about needing a planner, but I can honestly say I don’t think I could’ve pulled it off without them, worth absolutely every penny and one of the best decisions I made!

Working with Jen and her team at Lovely Events was the best wedding decision we made. We thought we had everything together and could plan and coordinate a wedding all on our own, but we were sure wrong! Jen kept us on track, and reminded of us tasks we would have never thought of. There are so many small details to think of, and endless things that could go amiss on your wedding day, and we felt at ease knowing the ladies at Lovely Events were there for us. From the two years leading up to our wedding to the end of the night, everything was seamless all thanks to Lovely Events. Worth every penny! We only wish we started working with Jen earlier in the process.
We weren't sold on bringing a planner onboard initially because our venue included some onsite logistical support, but explored lovely and had an initial call w. Jen which sealed the deal. Little did we know - Jen and lovely would be in our lives A LOT longer than expected as we embarked on a 2 year journey w. 2 whole replan's due to COVID. Jen was calm, prepared and professional throughout the entire, unique process. I don't think we would have ultimately had the day we did without her. She kept us on track and never made us feel stressed despite we had only hired Lovely for the day of + a few additional hours. If we weren't impressed in the lead up - the weekend of the actual wedding - Jen and her team were AMAZING. They kept everyone in check - made sure all vendors were jiving and ultimately executed our wedding day perfectly. Jen felt like a partner in our planning process - and when you pair with a vendor that is both authentic and kind - you're truly set up for success. Don't cut cost in your planning process on piece of mind - and definitely consider Lovely!!

I'm so glad I found Jen (and team) to be our wedding day-of coordinator! Jen was so easy to work with and super responsive from the get go. As the day-of coordinator, she stepped in with a few months to go, gathered all the vendor information and took over communications, logistics and creating a schedule for wedding day. On the day of our wedding, everyone was super impressed by how on-top of the schedule Jen and her team member Kacie were, and how smoothly the evening went! She helped us stay on top of all the planning details throughout the year that we worked together and provided amazing guidance on our design decisions from invitations to napkins to lighting. We hired the Lovely Event Planning team to help with our originally planned August 2020 wedding, then the pandemic hit. Jen was so incredibly supportive and we were able to postpone and pull off the most magical day a year later in 2021. Jen was so thoughtful about every little detail and had the best recommendations in terms of vendors. She was very responsive to email and went above and beyond throughout the whole process. On the day of, the entire Lovely Team was so helpful and allowed the entire wedding party to really enjoy the day. We spoke to various potential month-of coordinators for our Summer 2021 wedding, however after our phone call with Jen from LEP, we knew the search was over. Jen was thorough, honest, extremely responsive and we knew instantly we could trust her to make sure everything would run smoothly leading up to and on the day of our wedding. On the day of, we had the pleasure of having Kacie and Riley there to execute on everything we had discussed over the previous few months. Not only were they exceptional at managing the schedule and communicating with vendors, but it was also a rainy day and even though we were planning on getting married outside all along, I didn't feel an ounce of stress over whether that would end up happening or not. I trusted them to make the call, and I am so thankful they took that responsibility on. Behind the scenes, they made the call along with our venue coordinators to wait out the rain, and it couldn't have been more perfect. There's no need to look any further when it comes to wedding planners - LEP is the BEST. Thank you Jen, Kacie and Riley for being a part of our day!
Jennifer Andaur was the perfect wedding coordinator! She's ultra supportive, responsive, and honest and helped us create the wedding of our dreams! She went above and beyond to help us through countless reschedulings, helpings us coordinate, and re-rcoordinate, and re-coordinate with our vendors and the venue, and gave us tremendously helpful advise and empathy through all the wedding planning uncertainty of 2020 and 2021.
Day of the wedding went without a hitch due to Jen's expertise and overall awesomeness!! (and we have a lotttt of decorations)
I also LOVE AislePlanner. Honestly don't know how people plan weddings without it, and if you work with Jen -- this tool is included! An absolute must.
Our wedding day was by the far the most special day of our lives and Jen and Kacie literally made our dreams come true.

The details to the design and the execution of how everything turned out was beyond expectations. Not to mention gaining friends through it all to make it even more special!
Their hard work and attention to detail was not only felt by myself and my fiancé but by everyone in our wedding party. They appreciated the ease we all felt knowing Jen and Kacie were with us along the way and most importantly through the (many) hurdles. From duct tape for my fathers broken shoe heel, to fixing a tear in my dress, to simply sheltering me from the chaos and providing comfort, we realized that they we’re one of our greatest gifts.
I would recommend them over and over again!
Kristen is fantastic and I very highly recommend her. My daughter's wedding was originally planned in Manhattan but Covid derailed that and when we moved the venue to Blue Hill at Stone Barns, my daughter, against my initial objections, insisted on an Event Planner and found Kristen at Lovely Events. We could not have done it without her. She is kind and funny and wonderful to work with. She is so efficient, and organized. Weddings have a lot of moving parts, and Kristen managed them all, leaving us to enjoy the planning and the event. Whenever there was a worry or a concern, we reached out and she calmed our nerves and made the problem go away. Day of was fantastic as well. I very very highly recommend Kristen and Lovely Events.
I worked with Jen and had a phenomenal experience -- I cannot recommend her and Lovely Event Planning enough!! We had already picked a venue and some vendors but needed help with day-of coordination, some communication with certain vendors, as well as design inspiration, so we did the partial planning package. It was worth every penny. Jen went above and beyond the entire time despite it being a crazy wedding season with all the postponements and COVID protocols changing -- I don't know how she does it! She was super responsive, organized, creative, kind, and accommodating. When we had issues getting responses from a less-than-responsive vendor, Jen was on it. When we last minute found out we needed to rent dishware, Jen was ready with suggestions that matched our other decor and got them reserved right away. Jen was also very respectful of my budget and never pressured me into anything we didn't want. She is clearly very experienced and knowledgable, so I trusted Jen would always get me the right answer and she did! Our wedding itself was just perfect , and it was a joy to have Jen and Kacie there that day. If you're looking for a planner with great taste and exceptional skill at planning and executing a wedding, look no further!
We worked with Jennifer who we initially contracted for just ‘day of’ assistance. I hired all the vendors and planned most of the wedding which was to take place 5/30/20. After COVID hit, our venue closed down permanently and cancelled our contract. So we turned to Jennifer to help us start all over again. She helped us coordinate everything and pick out a completely new venue. Even when we changed the wedding date three times.
We finally got married 7/2/21 and it was as close to perfect as any bride could have wished for. Somethings didn’t go as planned (it rained!) but I felt totally calm and supported with Jennifer at my side. She handled everything and the day went smoothly. I cannot even imagine now what that first wedding would have been like. I am ‘type A’ so it’s hard to be guided or directed sometimes but Jennifer really knows her stuff and I’m glad we had the wedding that she helped to plan. I guess the highest praise I can give is that she was worth more than we paid her.

Kristen and her team are incredible and made our wedding day pure magic! From the early planning process, to postponing our wedding and all throughout wedding day, she and her team made us feel organized, confident and relaxed. She handled all of the logistics (i.e., timelines, confirming with vendors, communication with day of transportation - you name it!) leading up to the wedding and we were so grateful for that. Kristen didn't miss a beat on wedding day and I felt like she knew what I needed before I even realized I needed it. The day was run so seamlessly and we were lucky to have her on our team. They are the absolute best!
Kristen and her team were literal lifesavers for our May wedding. I went into planning thinking I could completely handle it myself but quickly realized we needed a professional - so lucky to have found that with Lovely Events! Our wedding was at a "non-wedding" venue, so everything from the ice to the napkins, to the mics had to be brought in. Kristen helped me organize, plan, and MOST importantly helped me keep my budget as close as possible. She also was so good about letting my "vision" shine through but also offering sound advice where needed. Never forcing an idea or a preference of her own, just helping me figure out what it is I actually wanted.
There were so many moving pieces with buses and hotels and all the jazz, and Kristen made it seem so...doable. Even a hiccup here or there never rattled her - always cool, calm, positive.
Firstly, I can't recommend getting a planner in general enough - you think you don't need one and you do (if you want to feel relaxed and capable of enjoying yourself on the big day!). Second, I would wholeheartedly recommend Lovely to anyone in the area. So professional, helpful and just genuinely happy to be there and for you and your spouse. It was everything I didn't know I needed.
My friend was married in Vail and Kristen planned the event - she was incredible! Not only is she 100% organized, ready for last minute snafus and various things that pop-up the day of, but she is also a delightful person who puts everyone from the bride, the vendors and guests at ease. She is the person you want in your corner when it comes to planning any event.
Kristen was amazing. From checking out the venue with us through the big day, communication and coordination were outstanding. There really wasn’t ever a time where she was inaccessible, out of touch, or unable to go out of the way to have things perfect. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Amidst the anxiety of planning and re-planning and re-planning again due to COVID, Jen was there every step of the way. She helped my husband and I flawlessly pull of the most perfect day and was a constant presence of calm and support during our entire process. We ended up having a much smaller event than originally planned, and Jen made sure every detail and every person was perfectly in place throughout the day. It was such an enjoyable experience and we did not have to worry about anything on our big day. She is a great communicator, always super responsive and available, has super creative ideas and will help you bring your vision to life! Hire this woman - she is amazing!!
This was the wedding planner for my friends location wedding. It was gorgeous! I have been in my share of weddings and this one ran the smoothest. Kristen was there for every aspect of the day. I highly recommend her style and expertise. She’s the friend every Bride should have!
You can look far and wide, you can price check and bargain, but I'm here to tell you that you're not going to find anyone better than Kristen to help make your special day/event/weekend run smoothly. She's a complete pro, and in some ways, a therapist, because it takes more than a planner, but a shrink to get someone through a wedding, I've learned! Of all my vendors, she was, BY FAR, the best investment we made. My husband and I can't thank you and your team enough, Kristen, for all that you've done to make our destination wedding in Vail so dynamic and memorable. We felt like we could truly enjoy ourselves and knew that our guests and vendors were in the hands of a true professional. In addition, our vendors even joked that she should come work with them because they loved her so much! So not only was she the perfect person to help plan and coordinate my wedding, she was also the perfect liaison for our vendors coming from all over Colorado.
I cannot say enough amazing things about Kristen. She went above and beyond to make our day amazing. Through all the stresses of planning a wedding she was able to help me come up with a solution and see it through for us. When we began to look for a wedding planner, my husband and I had no idea what to expect.
The day we met Jen my husband and I never looked back; we loved her instantly. She was incredibly organized, thoughtful, connected and fun! Having Jen as our wedding planner was invaluable. Guests thought that Jen was family- that’s how well she blended in with the crowd.
The logistics of our wedding were pretty complicated. My husband and I got married outside at his grandparents family estate, 45 minutes North of Westchester, NY. Transporting 180 guests was not an easy task. Multiple buses picked up and dropped off everyone at different locations. The transportation vendor Jen recommended was clutch. Especially since we booked Red Oak Transportation pretty late!

When I began planning my wedding, I was very much on the fence about whether I needed a wedding planner. I’m an organized person, I thought, I can do this. Boy was I wrong. I may be organized, but I knew nothing about weddings! After my first conversation with Kristen I knew that not only did I need a wedding planner, but that Kristen would be the perfect fit. She’s the best possible combination of organized, creative, dedicated, up-beat, personable, and passionate. She absolutely loves everything about weddings and was such an amazing sounding board throughout the entire process. From the early stages she answered every question/hesitation/complaint/indecision with such ease and provided us with countless recommendations and suggestions. Even when she’s knee deep in someone else’s wedding, she makes you feel like your wedding is the only one on her plate. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she handled everything: confirming with all the vendors, last minute logistics and questions, and creating a master timeline. We had zero stress leading up to the wedding (well until my husband broke his foot two days before the wedding but that’s a different story!) and Kristen is to thank for that. On the big day itself, she and her team ran the day like a well-oiled machine. Some of my bridesmaids commented, I never want to be in another wedding that you haven’t planned, they meant Kristen. Even when things didn’t go as planned, she kept me blissfully unaware and took care of it, and for that I will always be thankful. I’ll be honest and say that my mom and I are both hard to please—we had our share of difficulties with vendors, but Kristen made everything easier and was hands down one of the best decisions we made. I am a firm believer that every wedding needs a Kristen. If you’re hesitant about needing a planner at all or just cannot decide, you should stop reading reviews right now and talk to Kristen! You’ll be so happy you did!
Kristen Estela and her team at Lovely Event Planning are beyond amazing. We hired her for partial day-of planning for our wedding in CT, and it was easily one of the best wedding planning decisions we made. From the moment we met, Kristen truly went above and beyond. She helped us with coordinating vendors, organizing our timeline, and helped with dozens of small details that otherwise could have easily fallen through the cracks. Wedding planning can easily become stressful and overwhelming, but Kristen's expertise along with her fun and down-to-earth attitude made the process easy. Kristen is so kind and down-to-earth - each time we would speak throughout this process, I could instantly feel my stress levels decrease. She was also smart and practical about what we needed, and what we didn't need, and helped us be realistic and stick to our budget. By the time of our wedding, it felt like Kristen was an old friend. Kristen and her team at Lovely are a bride's dream come true! When my friend, who is in the wedding industry, recommended I hire a planner I was definitely hesitant because I worried that a planner would take over all of the fun parts of planning a wedding. I found Lovely Event Planning on The Knot and I am so grateful I did. From the first phone call, I knew she was the person who could help us create a day that brought together our ideas with my parents' ideas. Every question, every idea was received and responded to quickly. It was great to have someone in the industry to give me their professional insight to ideas and whether they would work or not. Having Kristen help with all of the things that came up was a godsend and I will never be able to thank her for making our day go as seamlessly as it did (with all of the last minute issues that came up). From our first initial meeting in the city (she came in just to meet us!) to site visits at our venue up in Hudson, to the rehearsal and the big day, Jen never skipped a beat. She was always professional, answered quickly (email and text) and most importantly had our best interest in mind at all times.
Jen was on hand at our rehearsal to make sure everything ran smoothly and made us feel at ease with all of the details of the ceremony. Our big day involved various different locations and shuttles, Jen plus her 2 fabulous assistants were on hand to guide the day smoothly. We never had to guess what was next, Jen and her team guided us seamlessly throughout the day with nothing to worry about.

When I began wedding planning I knew I had to get a wedding planner since I was a bride planning from another state (and moving again a few months later) Jen from Lovely from the very start was exactly what I was looking for. Over the course of a year she always answered my emails promptly and took my calls when ever I wanted to chat about ideas. The two months before my wedding she put my mind at ease. She is not only super well organized but also able to fix any issue right away! My wedding venue required me to seek outside vendors for almost every aspect of the wedding (catering, rentals, officiant etc) and she handled contact with them so well I barely had to do anything the month of. She really understood the vibe of my wedding and helped me pick and design a beautiful tablescape with the rental company. The day of my wedding I was able to fully enjoy every moment knowing Jen and her assistant had everything handled. Anything that came up, boom Jen was there to take care of it. Several guests after the wedding commented on how professional and efficient she was! I am so thankful I found lovely and got to work with Jen, she is truly amazing at what she does.
Lovely Events was recommended to me by another bride that used them for her wedding. They had worked with Kristen, who was already booked up for the day so I got connected with Jen and I couldn't have been happier with my experience! Jen and I met/spoke on the phone several times and she took the time to really understand what I wanted in a wedding. She took away SO many of the stresses that come with wedding planning by creating the perfect timeline. She worked with me on things I wanted to tweak but also told me what wasn't realistic which I appreciated because the day ended up being so perfect and seamless. She also connected with all the vendors leading up to the wedding to make sure it worked for everyone and it was one less task for me to have to do. We worked with the lovely Jen Andaur! It was absolutely the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. We knew right away that we were working with the right person. Jen is extremely knowledgeable and helped our vision come to life. She was always available to answer all of the many questions that came up in the planning. Working with Kristen and her team at Lovely Event Planning was the best decision we made - there were a lot of things I didn’t know about the wedding planning process and we were having our wedding at a non-traditional venue which made it a bit more complicated than usual. Kristen made sure we were comfortable at every step of the process, and understood my vision right away. Because I knew that Kristen always had my vision and style in mind I could fully rely on her to make decisions with the other vendors without worrying at all. Kristen Estela and her team were a godsend! I was getting very stressed out planning out all the details and not sure how to coordinate everyone. My future husband really pushed for us to get a wedding coordinator to take care of the day of details and I'm glad we finally did. Kristen was amazing from the first conversation. Hiring Kristen of Lovely Event Planning was hands down THE BEST decision of my entire wedding planning process. During my search for a day-of coordinator, I quickly found that many planners in the Hudson Valley with good experience where thousands of dollars above my price range and included a list of services a mile long, 9/10ths of which weren't things we needed. When I found Lovely Event Planning, Kristen quickly set up a phone call with me to discuss what I needed exactly, what I already had planned, and most importantly, the price range I was hoping to stay within. She was happy to customize a package for my needs within my budget, and I quickly signed the contract to work with her! So much was included in my contract for a very reasonable price, including unlimited communication (which she responded to promptly every. single. time.), recommendations for vendors I still needed, a tool kit that had the BEST task list, and literally everything that needed to be coordinated with other vendors month-of. She met with me twice in person before our wedding weekend to go into great detail about how the big day would go and she saved me from many meltdowns about not knowing what to do or how to assert what I really wanted! Every step of the way, I felt that Kristen's complete attention was on our wedding. Her passion for this industry - and more importantly, the couples she works with - is evident. The day of our wedding ran incredibly smoothly thanks to Kristen and her assistant Kacie; if anything went wrong, my husband and I had no clue. Our family and friends, and even a few of our vendors commented on how well run the wedding felt thanks to their coordination! I am a serious micromanager (hey, I know what I want!), and I felt the entire time that I could trust Kristen to do that job for me and even better. She coordinated everything from a surprise serenade from my husband to the arrival of vendors, and even the minor details of setting up photos and favors. On top of it all, she captured a bunch of videos and photos to have immediately so that we could remember how wonderful it all was the next day! Kristen is such a gem. She is sweet, funny, empathetic, professional, a great communicator, and has great connections in this industry. I can't say enough good things about Kristen and Lovely Event Planning, I can only thank them from the bottom of my heart for making our wedding an absolute dream!

Jennifer helped us plan our wedding this past June and she was amazing. She came with us to most of our meetings with our vendors and ensured that we were getting what we wanted. She was always available via text/email/phone and coordinated with all of our vendors so everything went smoothly. On the day of our wedding Jennifer was so organized and prepared which really allowed us to enjoy our day. We had a few things go wrong with our venue during the reception and if Jennifer wasn't there I'm not sure what we would have done! We highly recommend using Lovely Event planning to help plan your wedding!

We worked mainly with Kristen, and she made the entire process so much easier. Unlike planners I've seen at friends' weddings, she's organized but relaxed. She gets everything done without adding any stress and is a total pleasure to plan with. Obviously, I would highly recommend!
I am so glad that my now-husband (yay!) and I made the decision to hire Lovely Event Planning for day of coordination services early on in our planning process. We were originally working with Kristen, but when she had a scheduling conflict, Jen stepped in and they were both fantastic! Jen met with me multiple times to go over everything, and leading up to the wedding, was great at communicating with my vendors, making sure I'd gotten everything on the checklist done, and also at calming me down. When the day came, we could not have asked for her to do more than she did - she went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed, that our venue was decorated accordingly, and was extra great at deflecting our parents when she saw they were stressing us (Ok, mostly me!) out. She was waiting for us after we said "I Do" with glasses of beer in hand, which was like a sign from the universe that we were meant to work with her! Words can hardly describe how grateful we are to have worked with Kristen and Jen for the last 2 and half months leading up to our wedding. They didn't have prior experience working in our venue, but none of that matters at all! They are pros at what they do and they will crush it no matter where you're getting married. They are the best planners I could have ever asked for and they constantly went above and beyond for us. Kristen was amazing talking me through timelines and logistics, as well as with helping us carry out our vision. She got to know us as people and that came through in everything she did. On the day of the wedding, Kristen and Jen were so on top of everything and they were always making sure Peter and I were all good.
