Loyal Nine

Loyal Nine is the absolute best— we celebrated our wedding here a few weeks ago and are still so so happy with how the day went! The restaurant owner Daniel was so lovely to work with and made the wedding planning process much less painful by always being so responsive and helpful. He always replied to our emails in a timely manner and was very willing to work within our budget and be flexible with the menu. It is so obvious how much the restaurant cares about the food they are serving and it felt good to know our money was going toward high quality food/drinks instead of all the other fees that a lot of traditional venues charge. We were very anxious about not hiring a wedding planner/day of coordinator, but with Dan's suggestions, we were able to put together a schedule and our wedding day flowed perfectly thanks to the amazing staff. We received so many compliments about the food from our wedding guests, many telling us this was the best wedding food they ever had! Although all of the food was exquisite, we highly suggest the fried chicken confit legs and clam strips for apps! Also the roasted chicken and brisket for the main course, also the homemade ice cream sandwiches for dessert... we could go on! Rebecca (co-owner) and John (bar manager) helped us pick out a great wine/beer/cocktail menu. Our guests raved about the wine and beer selections. We served the Cape Codder and Hungry Like the Wolf drinks as our signature cocktails and they were also a hit. In addition to the wonderful food/drinks, the space is gorgeous-- such a nice, relaxing interior with a great outdoor patio/garden connected to the cafe. We were able to save money on flowers and other decorations since the restaurant decor just speaks for itself. We had our ceremony on site outside on the patio (for a very reasonable ceremony fee) and then continued with our cocktail hour and reception in the cafe/restaurant. After dinner was served, we removed tables in the center of the restaurant to make room for dancing. If guests wanted a break from dancing/music they were able to hang outside and have conversations with other guests in the cafe/patio area. We originally had a larger guest list, but loved the space so much that we decided to trim it down. In the end, we had just under 130 guests and did not feel cramped at all and loved having our family/friends so close to us :) We recommend getting married here if you looking for a nontraditional wedding venue in an urban setting that provides an intimate space to party with your loved ones with amazingly delicious food and drink! As we stated above, on the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly - the staff were incredibly friendly and considerate. They always kept us fed, hydrated, and our guests happy. I cannot tell you how over the moon my husband and I were about our decision to host our reception with Loyal Nine. We had been regulars at the restaurant for quite sometime, so when we were trying to find a venue, I noticed on their Instagram that they did weddings, so it instantly went to the top of our list. During the planning process Dan (the owner) was easy to work with, responsive, and I felt like he answered all of my millions of questions with care to ensure the day went fabulously. When the day came, nothing could go right for our ceremony (It rained, the ac broke at our rain ceremony venue on the hottest day of the year, AND my vail fell out) so walking into the restaurant set up exactly the way I imagined it was beyond perfect!! Every staff member (particularly Lilah) went out of their way to make sure my husband and I always had a drink in our hand and served all my guests with the most stellar hospitality... and don’t get me started on the food. Chef Marc crushed it for our wedding!!! I seriously cannot tell you how many guests came up to us throughout the night to let us know how delicious everything was!! Having an extraordinary meal was something that was the most important to my husband and I— and we got all of that and so much more!! Another great thing to point out about this venue, there is real cost savings due to the already amazing ambiance, but everything the restaurant uses for normal service (the napkins, the glassware, cutlery, plates etc) is so much more unique than any traditional hotel venue. I literally asked my photographer to photograph the plate from main course because it was so adorable!! Additionally they didn’t require a room rental fee for my date so I was able to spend all my dollars on food/drink. They also made us the most adorable personalized drink menus, all of which came with no additional charges. Overall, if you are a foodie looking for an intimate space with over the top service, a perfect meal, and to feel like a king and queen for a day—you cannot go wrong with Loyal Nine. While the restaurant has always been special to us, (We celebrated my 30th birthday there) our wedding reception was so uniquely us thanks to Dan and his flawless team. The folks at Loyal Nine are the best. We had our wedding ceremony & reception at the restaurant and it was exactly what we wanted. Daniel was wonderful to work with leading up to our wedding - he was always responsive to our questions and gave us great suggestions. The team at Loyal Nine provided an wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and they were incredibly accommodating when it came to food allergies and dietary restrictions. The servers were great - guests who had food allergies/intolerances commented on how attentive they were and guests who didn't need special attention barely noticed service, which was perfect. We initially planned to do a buffet, but our guests didn't quite get the intention and the restaurant was able to shift gears quickly to bring our shared supper directly to the tables. The beverage service was also on point - two months after our wedding, our friends and family still can't stop talking about the beer selection, it was that good. We picked Loyal Nine because it's a beautiful, industrial space with great food that provided an outdoor option for our ceremony and accommodated our smallish guest list of less than 100 people. What we ended up with was a celebration that went beyond our expectations.

We got married at Loyal Nine at loved loved loved everything about it. The team was super professional and easy to work with - and everything went seamlessly. The food is all local and seriously amazing - everyone raved about it. One of the best bartenders in town works there, and the cocktails, wine, and beer are all great - so much better than you'd get at a typical hotel ballroom or country club wedding. The setup is perfect for having your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all there. Everything about it was perfect; we wouldn't change a thing.
