Luce Loft

This venue was amazing! Perfect size for the 115 guests I had. Zack (the owner) and Shawnta (venue manager, and who we hired for our day of coordinator) was incredible! The night went off without a hitch thanks to her and the whole process with the entire team at Luce Loft was great. Our guests loved the location of the venue - walk to bars, hotels, tons to do in the area..Luce Loft is the perfect place to get married.

Luce Loft was the perfect venue for our wedding!!! We loved the fact that we were able to select the vendors we wanted and were able to choose our own variety of beer and wine. It was absolutely perfect and all of our guests couldn’t stop saying how great the space was!

This venue is so unique. The best part is that it is a blank canvas venue, so you bring in all your own vendors, and make the wedding completely your own. It is a little more work, but well worth it. We also hired one of the day of coordinators that the venue manager recommended and she was seriously the best. Our wedding was a dream come true and I'm so glad we chose Luce Loft

Luce Loft was an amazing venue to have our wedding at. The open space definitely allowed us to create whatever vibe we wanted and we appreciated that freedom. Even if we hadn't decorated, the venue still would have been just as beautiful. Alie and Zach, the venue manager and owner, were easy to coordinate with and we definitely recommend them and the venue to anyone looking for an awesome spot!

We just had our wedding at Luce Loft last Friday. Zack (the owner) and the onsite event coordinator, Shawnta were very accommodating and delightful to work with. The venue really is a blank canvas and you can create whatever your heart desires. Being able to bring in our own food and beverages and staff made this space extra appealing. Big open Loft for the perfect small or medium size wedding we loved the location right in downtown SD. The owner and management was very easy to work with. They have a list of vendors they have worked with before to jump start our planning. The best part is the space is completely open so we where free to create our own look with the tables and chairs that we rented. The inside is so unique itself we really didn't have to do much decorating which helped with our budget.

We had an absolutely magical wedding at Luce loft. Zack was so great and quick with communicating. They gave us a list of favorite vendors and it was so helpful! All vendors knew the space so it was a no brainer. Alie showed us the space after the initial meeting with Zack and let me know she is the day of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! The loft is a beautiful space and we received so many compliments on the venue at our wedding. I highly recommend Luce loft for any event - the space is magical and Zack/Alie were great to work with. Thank you both for making our day so fun!

Couldn't be happier with Luce. I dreamt of that industrial look and that is exactly what I got. The concrete floor, sliding doors, and metal walls made our reception picture perfect. The guys were easy to work with to schedule viewings, etc. We also rented out the extra room on the side and so glad we did! Highly recommend!

I loved this venue. It's a beautiful blank space. You have the freedom to bring in any vendors you choose, which is great, but a bit more work than other venues. It was worth it though!

My husband and I held our wedding reception here on 6/1. When doing our research on venues, we knew the second we walked into this space, that this is where our reception needed to be. It is industrial, super close to the pulse of downtown San Diego, and has all the possibility in the world in allowing you to customize your event exactly the way you imagined. From the moment we decided to move forward, Zack (point of contact) was ready and available to answer all of our logistical questions as well as offer great advice on vendors and caterers that have done work in the space before. The space was affordable and it is yours for 24 hours, which helps with setting up and tearing down before and after your event. A parking structure is also located directly across the street and on our particular event, there was a Padre game, which forced us to complete with the parking a little bit but you can pre-purchase parking passes ahead of time. We had INCREDIBLE wedding planners (Beau & Arrow) who helped us envision the look and feel of the event and manipulated the space to reflect that. Luce Loft is essentially a blank slate that allows you to do whatever you want. We wanted ours to be a complete juxtaposition between masculine (industrial look and feel of the Luce Loft) while having soft and feminine touches (white draping with uplighting, beautiful white couches, and chairs). Catering can be tough but we opted for a food truck which is how a lot of events work at Luce Loft. We hired Curiosity Catering and it was a hit! The options were tray passed in tandem with offerings outside of the truck as well (if people wanted more of something). People couldn't compliment them or the food enough! The whole experience with Luce Loft, from start to finish, was incredibly unique - definitely NOT a traditional wedding reception. That was, however, EXACTLY what we were looking for in our wedding and our reception. The space is open to interpretation, the location is central and close to all these iconically San Diego places - Gaslamp, Petco Park, hotels, ect., and all of the vendors and companies we worked made our event that much more special.

The Loft was so accommodating with our budget as well as our very very short time frame! I was very nervous that my large amount of guests would not be able to comfortably fit in the loft, they let me visit at least 3 times to measure everything, to ease my fear. Zack & Paul were so so helpful throughout my whole wedding planning as well as the day of! I'm so glad I found Luce Loft, this venue is amazing!
