for us when we were up in Fishkill. She is very experienced. As someone who knew exactly what she wanted in terms of florals, I was very prescriptive and Lucille delivered just that. She was very prompt and efficient in terms of set-up. Our baby’s breath chuppah was a total dreamy cloud, and my bridal bouquet was enormous with orchids that truly shined. Our centerpieces achieved the perfect minimalist chic look I was going for with branches filled with orchids mixed with floating candles with calla lilies. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced florist in the Hudson Valley, I’d definitely recommend Lucille’s.

My bouquet far exceeded any expectations that I had, and all of the flowers were perfect. I cannot recommend Lucille and her team enough for any of your florist needs. They are top notch and I look forward to crossing paths again in the future!

!! I honestly told someone during wedding day prep - we will ditch the flowers after the wedding. After the flowers were delivered, I told my girls to change the notes! The flowers were coming home! And they are now on my dining room table so I can enjoy them an extra few days!

Some of our concerns were that we were never able to see example photos of our centerpieces, and when I asked for one, the picture that was sent to me did not look like my centerpieces. Although the centerpieces were pretty, most of the flowers were lifeless and dead. It’s as if fresh flowers weren’t used at all. Also, I dropped off a piece of my dress to be incorporated in my bouquet somehow, and it never was. I made sure to hand it to someone in a ziplock with my name as directed, and was disappointed when it didn’t make it to my bouquet. Last, I had paid for garland to go around and down my ceremony gazebo, sadly it was only up around and not cascading down. I would have given 3 stars but Lucille was so nice, she alone deserved 4.

The sweetheart table was my favorite part. She made it look so romantic with the tulle and flowers on the chairs and the long stem candles. She even packaged the toss petals beautifully in cones arranged in a wicker basket. My bouquet was overflowing With eucalyptus and roses, and it was so much bigger than I had imagined! I have zero complaints working with Lucille.

Lucille was extremly flexible in changing the amount of centerpieces and moving from an indoor to an outdoor wedding literally last minute. I would highly recommend working with her!

Lucille and she was able to translate the pictures in my head into specific colors, types of flowers and certain types of greenery. Her pricing was VERY reasonable and she was able to easily accommodate all the changes I kept coming up with after our initial meeting. The final pieces all came out perfect - they were all the exact colors and assortments I had been picturing. She was on time with the delivery and everything went smoothly and as planned. She decorated the church pews, did some venue decorations, and I was so happy with how the centerpieces and bridal party bouquets came out. I definitely recommend using her for wedding flowers!

I met with her, showed her my centerpieces and where the flowers would need to go, pulled up a few inspiration pictures, gave her my list of who would need bouquets, and she handled the rest flawlessly, and for a very reasonable price. Everyone commented on how beautiful my bouquet was, and she didn't even flinch when I asked her to pin in two little figures as charms at the bottom. Her little extra touches were so appreciated - my bouquet, as well as those of my bridesmaids, were delivered in cute mason jars that I can definitely reuse. Lucille didn’t always respond to me when I emailed her, we always managed to sync up and get on the same page. Everything seemed okay until the night of our rehearsal dinner when our flowers were nowhere to be found. My MIL was in charge of coordinating the evening and could not get ahold of Lucille via phone or email - which obviously really stressed her out. Thankfully our coordinator at our rehearsal dinner knew someone who had Lucille’s cell phone and got ahold of her. Turns out she was in FL for another wedding and whoever was supposed to deliver our flowers “forgot” and Lucille was allegedly livid with her staff. The flowers arrived significantly late to our rehearsal dinner and frankly if it hadn’t been for our coordinator they may have never shown up at all. Obviously this made me nervous about our flowers for the day of the wedding. Fortunately everything showed up on time and looked great for our wedding. The person who delivered our flowers that morning profusely apologized for the previous night, said she had no explanation for what happened, and said we would receive two extra vases of flowers for our ceremony (which we did receive) and that was all she could do since she wasn’t the owner. Our flowers were beautiful and our centerpieces were just what we wanted. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because I was frankly really disappointed with Lucille as a small business owner. When I kindly emailed her my room number the day of my wedding for the delivery (note - I didn’t freak out/complain/ask for a refund), she never even acknowledged the problem from the previous night and never apologized for what happened, which was honestly shocking to me. This was the only vendor we had any issue with whatsoever - she’s affordable, but I guess we got what we paid for. The morning of your wedding you shouldn’t have to worry about whether your flowers are going to show up - and weeks later, it’s clear that we will never get an apology from Lucille. If customer service and professionalism is important to you, I would look elsewhere for a florist.

I also got corsages for the moms and grandmas and boutonnieres for all the men.I payed half of what I had expected! She was also nice enough to set up my center pieces because my venue told me last minute that they don’t do that. Overall I would definitely recommend her!!!

I decided to call Lucille herself the following day when she was back in the office to confirm everything before the wedding. The day of the wedding and the flowers were delivered. We had a request for 2 long stem Roses, which were confirmed the week before with Lucille. These were for a very important part of our ceremony dedicated to both our mom's. The Rose's were never delivered and we had to unfortunately skip over the dedication to our moms in the ceremony. This was extremely disappointing as this dedication meant so much to both my fiance and I. I would expect a florist who is known for doing weddings to be more organized then they were.

I went in another time to make sure I narrowed it down more so she didn't have to guess which photo was really my favorite and she was super accommodating. I put all of my trust in her and her teams skills and she went above and beyond my expectations!! When she arrived in the morning with the bouquets, I was over the moon happy. She had taken all of the photos and my flower suggestions and mashed it all together to make the most beautiful arrangements. That also goes for the table centerpieces, they were GORGEOUS!!! She just knows this business so well, and it shows.

My bouquet was much larger than what I had expected even after explaining I preferred something small. Petals were also wilted and brown. Luckily, this was not seen in our pictures. There was also a mix up with delivery to my bridal suite and was handed my bouquet and a single bridesmaids bouquet that was not even for my event. When my bridesmaid called the florist, all she was told was "they're there". I did love how our centerpieces turned out as we went with a completely different look than a vase. Overall, I wish I had followed my gut and pulled out after our initial meeting and gone elsewhere for bouquets.
