Luminous Blooms is a Chicago based floral company servicing the Chicagoland area and surrounding cities. Dolores, Owner and Creative Lead, along with her team, design beautiful weddings to complement each bride’s style and taste. We offer different packages from the DIY Bride to premium packages. DIY PACKAGES Our DIY packages are for our brides on a tight budget or for brides with a creative edge. We offer a number of options within this package. A minimum order of $500 in florals is required with our DIY packages. GET ME THE FLOWERS IN BUCKETS (option 1) This package includes the client having full knowledge of the types and quantity of flowers needed. The client will just simply pick up the flowers in buckets of water. The client handles all the flower arranging. All we do is process the flowers and place them in buckets. This package does not include consultations, tips or advice. The client pays for all the flowers and product. Client saves approximately 40%-60% by arranging their own florals. $500 minimum flower order applies. I LOVE DIY BUT NEED ADVICE (option 2) With this package, the client informs us the types and quantity of flowers needed and we provide a one hour phone consultation walking the client through processing flowers, what types of flowers to use, the amount of flowers to use, timeline for when to start arranging and answering any questions. We also offer an in-person meeting for an additional cost. The client will still handle flower arranging and we provide the flowers in buckets. The client also pays for all the flowers and product. Client will receive detailed a PDF for step by step processes. $50 per hour phone call consultation. $75 per hour in person consultation. $500 minimum flower order applies. YES DIY BUT PLEASE SHOW ME HOW (option 3) In this package, we coordinate a hands on training for our client in our studio. A maximum amount of 3 people may attend a coordinated training workshop. We walk the client through processing flowers, what types of flowers to use, the amount of flowers to use, timeline for when to start arranging and answer any other questions. Client will receive a detailed PDF for step by step processes. Workshop fee begins at $500 (including florals, but may increase on types of flowers and materials needed). Workshops are approximately 3 hours in length. DESIGNER PACKAGE Our Designer Package is perfect for the budget that falls below our minimum spend. You tell us your color palette and we decide the type of blooms, arrangements and the flower plan. This package includes florals for up to $1,500 with no delivery or setup included. Pick up will be arranged in our Studio in Chicago near O'Hare. Pick up will also be scheduled the morning before the wedding or early morning on the day of the wedding. PREMIUM PACKAGE Our Premium package includes a $1,500 minimum financial commitment for florals. In the Premium package, florals will be delivered and setup.

Luminous Blooms delivered everything that was promised and then some. Dolores is accommodating, dependable and has vision. She designed arrangements that complemented the wedding. I'm looking forward to working with Luminous Blooms again for future events The Planning: 2 months before my wedding date, my planner convinced me that I needed flowers and directed me to Dolores. Dolores took the budget and the little direction I gave (summer vibes and matching the dresses) and delivered more than I imagined. To ease my bridal anxiety, I met with Dolores a month before the wedding. During that meeting she was prompt, answered all questions, highlighted some considerations that I had not thought of and made it clear that she would deliver the best results and stay within the budget. The Execution: the photos do not do the florals justice. The colors, the ribbons, the vases, all of it really set the tone for the wedding. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were delivered to the hotel early. The venue rooms were setup with centerpieces, greenery, and candles an hour before any wedding events began. The corsages for the mother of the bride and groom were attached to a metal cuff... a great touch and attractive in the photos.

If you want the perfect wedding than you’re in the right place! Dolores did an amazing job with the flowers at my November wedding. I wanted a simple fall theme and she gave me better than what I asked. She made sure she was on top of things and my husband and I loved it!

Choosing Luminous Blooms was a very easy choice. Their florals immediately jumped out at me while scrolling through many options on various wedding websites. Working with Dolores was extremely easy and she was open and creative with a few specific requests I had. The bouquets were a perfect size and the bridal bouquet was slightly larger but not overshadowing. I couldn't be happier recommending this florist to others, you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much for making our special day that much more beautiful!

Dolores was fabulous to work with for our wedding day florals! In our first meeting, I simply showed her photos of what I had in mind and she was pleasantly helpful when I was going through my options. On the day of, I received exactly what I wanted! The most beautiful bride's bouquet, gorgeous bridesmaids' bouquets, perfect boutonnieres and corsages and an ammmmmmmazing ceremony set up! Dolores was SUCH a pleasure to work with that when a friend's wedding florist fell through, I immediately told him to call her! I can not recommend Dolores and Luminous Blooms enough!

Dolores truly made our wedding day beautiful! After meeting with several florists, I was lucky enough to come across Dolores's work. Beyond her gorgeous style, she was very affordable as well. During our meetings, she listened carefully and made thoughtful suggestions about how to make our flowers more budget friendly but still stunning. Beyond that, she was incredibly patient with an indecisive bride and easy to work with. The final flower arrangements were exactly what I had envisioned--only more gorgeous. I would 100% recommend Dolores to anyone else planning a wedding!

I can't even say enough about Dolores! She was seriously the best. She met with us twice in person at the beginning in order to get a good handle on our vision and then executed it brilliantly. There was a moment where we were going to sacrifice our vision due to the cost of vases we were procuring on our own, and she was so dedicated to making our dreams come true that she hired a welder to make the exact stands and terrariums we were looking for. She then painted them with the same paint we had used on other pieces so that the look was cohesive. Not only did she go above and beyond with the centerpieces, her flower arrangements were so voluminous and lush. The bouquets were gorgeous, and the potted ferns we had along the aisle had the thickness, color, and movement we were hoping for. Dolores listened to us and worked with us and gave us more than we ever could have imaged!

Dolores was literally a God-send! I was getting worried I'd never find a florist that was willing to work with my budget and vision until I emailed her. She emailed back the same day and gave me great ideas that would allow me to save some money. When my fiance and I met with her in person, we were even more confident in our decision, as she was very knowledgeable about what flowers to use to achieve the look we wanted. Plus, she is such a sweet, kind person who works very hard to make your dreams come true and goes above and beyond for her clients.

The moment I met with Dolores I knew I was in good hands! She has an incredible eye for design and knew exactly how to take the vision I had for my wedding and make it come to life. The flower arrangements were beautiful and I was extremely happy at how everything turned out.

Dolores helped me create my dream wedding! She was patient with me on the changes I wanted to make after our first meeting. She helped me re-create my vision and come up with unique and tasteful ideas. She was always checking in with me along the way to make sure the flowers she chose were to my liking. The work she did was on my ceremony, reception, and personals. Also my wedding was 220 guests, and it all went off with a bang thanks to her. I'm so grateful and I would not have been able to do it without her and her team!!

One of the best florists in Chicago! We handpicked and met with every vendor for our wedding, and Dolores was one of our best choices. She was easy to work with, flexible and creative. My fiancee and I had different visions of how our wedding should look like in terms of flowers. When we met with Dolores, she listened to us both and made suggestions that would be a good compromise for both of us. The centerpieces were breathtaking. Some of my guests told me that they looked so pretty and perfect that they thought they were fake. They had to touch them and rip a little petal to convince themselves that they are real. We are very pleased with our flowers and Dolores at Luminous Blooms!

We are over the moon with everything from the floral arrangement to the time and care Dolores showed us. We still get compliments on how pretty all the floral arrangements were! Dolores worked with us to help solve all of our problems and questions. She knew exactly what we were asking for. Luminous Blooms is the way to go!

Can I PLEASE add a sixth star?! Dolores was a dream! My now-husband and I wanted something a little unique. We talked to a few other florists, and they did not seem to be open to other ideas, they were also a lot more expensive! We finally found Dolores and set up a meeting. From the first moment we meet her she was kind and listened. We sat in her front room coming up with even better ideas than I had come to the table with. Throughout the process I would have some other idea and run it by her, she was always more than willing to make it work, or figure it out. We had requested winter fruits and berries, she came back with whole pomegranates!! We requested feathers, she came back with three different beautiful kinds! (I couldn't choose, so we used them all :) ) There was never a task too big or a request too strange and at the end of the day, when we walked in the ballroom for our reception, it was literally a dream come true. So much more beautiful than I thought, and I dream big. Out of all of our vendors, and we had a lot of good ones, she was one of the best! Dolores, thank you for everything, I will be recommending you to everyone!!

Dolores was truly incredible and thoughtful! The flowers she created for me exceeded my every expectation. All night I got compliments on what beautiful color combinations were in my bouquet. She was very easy to work with and soaked in any idea I had! She also created an adjustable flower crown that completed my whole look. Her prices are extremely reasonable, which was an important part of my decision. However, if I had a million dollars to spend on flowers I would have still picked working with Dolores.

WOW. When you start working with Dolores, you know you're in good hands from the get-go. She is incredibly flexible, creative, practical, and was able to work with a pretty limited budget to produce beautiful, amazing flowers. They looked just like the inspiration photos that I gave her. Communication via e-mail and in person was always prompt and she's a lovely person to work with. She didn't beat around the bush that some flowers I wanted probably would not be available in the summer, but she came up with some great alternatives that may have been even more special. Everyone at our wedding couldn't stop talking about the flowers, guests, family, the photographer...they were really unique and special. I've already been asked for Dolores' contact information twice since our wedding a few weeks ago. You can't go wrong with Luminous Blooms!

I searched for months for a florist who wasn't doing the cookie cutter wedding bouquet/decor and finally came across Dolores right here on the knot.com. As soon as she and I began emailing, I knew she was the one. My first meeting with Dolores was amazing, she had me fill out a quick questionnaire before hand and asked if I would incorporate some pictures of flowers I liked. When I arrived, Dolores already had a working knowledge of my vision, helped me identify the types of flowers I was looking for, told me what was in season and helped me pinch pennies. I had been purchasing lanterns in the months leading up to the wedding to use as centerpieces but hadn't really defined a clear picture of how to use them at my reception, Dolores did the thinking for me and the result was beyond anything I could have dreamed up in my head. She is truly talented, easy to work with, accessible and flexible to the busy bride and given the quality of work she provided for her price point, Luminous Blooms is exactly what the modern bride is looking for. I would recommend Dolores and Luminous Blooms to all newly engaged ladies- she is absolutely wonderful.

We hired Luminous Blooms for our May wedding. Dolores was fantastic during the whole process. She was able to initially describe then bring to life the bouquets and center pieces for our wedding. And not to mention at a price that beat everyone else's quotes! Dolores was great to work, helping me with not only the flowers she would be handling but with ideas and helping find resources for some of my diy projects. She even accommodated a special request of my mother and sister to surprise me with photo charms added to my wedding bouquet. I would recommend Luminous Blooms to anyone looking for a great florist for their wedding or special event. I know I will be using Dolores' services again for events in the future!

Dolores made my dreams come true, literally! Front start to finish she was such a pleasure to work with and truly tried to understand my vision. She came all the way to my home for a consultation and was very organized and informative. She worked with my like no other florist would have in creating different centerpieces for each table and the final results was nothing short of spectacular! My guests are still talking about how beautiful my flowers were, they were one of my favorite parts about my whole wedding. Choosing Lumnious Blooms was the best vendor choice we made!

Dolores deserves 10 stars! She worked with our budget, arrived on time and the flowers (the flowers!!!!) they were absolutely breathtaking! They looked exactly (EXACTLY!!!!) the way I had pictured them! My family and bridal party could not get over how gorgeous they were! She gave me the absolute best price in Chicago. I highly recommend Dolores for any type of floral arrangements you may need!

The flowers were beautiful!!! We received many compliments & the pictures highlighting the flowers are gorgeous. Dolores put us at ease from the start. She was quick to respond to my many questions. She kept all appointments & was professional & prompt. As the wedding day approached details changed, location drop off times changed & quantities changed. Throughout it all Dolores was incredibly accommodating. If I have any other events for which I need flowers I will reach out to Dolores again. Great experience!

We met with Dolores after meeting with a few other florists and almost immediately my husband and I knew we wanted to work with Luminous Blooms. Dolores, of Luminous Blooms, offered us what we were looking for that the other florists didn't have - she had interest in our dream and a passion to meet that. Throughout the process she was easy to work with and even set up a Pinterest board that we could both add ideas to. I knew of one or two types of flowers that I wanted for my wedding, but wasn't sure what else to add. Dolores came up complements to those flowers that were enchanting and within our budget. She was very mindful of staying within my budget while providing the look that I envisioned with some alternative choices. I loved my bouquet so much that I had it preserved in a shadow box and can appreciate the vision that Dolores helped fulfill for me on a regular basis. Dolores is sweet, has a great attitude, and is very mindful of listening to what her client would like. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a personalized experience with a talented artist. I hope to work with her in the future if I have another special occasion.

The flowers Dolores did for my September 4th wedding were simply gorgeous! She took care of the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and arrangements for an arch. She even provided and arranged swag fabric to drape over the arch after I made a last minute request. Everything was exactly how I imagined. She really made my vision come to life! I highly recommend her for your wedding or event!

Dolores is the best! She made my 4th of July wedding with her floral arrangements. I showed her pictures from Pinterest and she recreated the looks fabulously. I have champagne taste on a beer budget and Dolores was really great and working with the budget I had. She was also so kind in dealing with my last minute additions and changes. I would highly recommend her to anyone! The flowers from our wedding were just great and they also lasted for almost two weeks after! Luminous Blooms definitely exceeded our expectations! When I reached out to Dolores, the owner of Luminous Blooms, I wasn't sure about how I envisioned the decor of our event. Little did I know about flowers and which would look best with which. Dolores steered me in the right direction and helped me clarify my vision. The colors of the flowers mingled well together and they were fresh. Also, I left it up to her to surprise us with our gift table. Not only was it beautiful, but it was personal! Throughout our event, people complimented the flowers, the gift table and the tablescapes. When working on such an important event, I believe the personality of the vendor is crucial. You want to work with someone who you feel is on your team- that is Luminous Blooms! Overall, Luminous Blooms' owner, Dolores, is very personable, fun and easy to work with. I'm really happy with the service provided by Luminous Blooms! Dolores is absolutely wonderful. I was clueless when it came to choosing anything about flowers and the styles of bouquets, and she really took the time to go through everything with me and my husband. I live out of state and have terrible work hours, but she was very accommodating and able to communicate via e-mail, doing everything at my schedule. She even sent me friendly reminder e-mails during crunch time to make sure everything turned out how I envisioned. And of course - the flowers were absolutely gorgeous. I had a huge wedding party (about 20 people), and they were able to make all the bouquets and boutonnieres, and deliver everything on time for the wedding day. She really helped in choosing the right flowers and colors to go with my motif, and the arrangements were perfect. I had an outdoor wedding, and the flowers really pop in all the pictures! Overall - I definitely recommend using Luminous Blooms for your wedding!
