d she took the time to really understand our vision and helped execute exactly what we wanted. Every step of the way, Emily was there with thoughtful suggestions, creative ideas, and a calm, positive attitude.
What impressed us the most was how she managed all the moving parts—vendors, timelines, and unexpected last-minute changes—without missing a beat. It was clear that she had deep industry knowledge and a wealth of experience, as every detail, from the decor to the flow of the ceremony, was executed flawlessly.
On the day of the wedding, we didn’t have to worry about anything. Emily and her team made sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to focus on enjoying the moment. The result was a beautiful, perfectly organized celebration that exceeded our expectations.
Whether you have a clear vision or are just starting to plan, we would highly recommend Luna and Chalire. They truly went above and beyond to make our special day one we’ll never forget. Thank you, Emily, for turning our dream wedding into a reality!
If you’re looking for a wedding planner who can take your wildest dreams and turn them into the most unforgettable reality, look no further than Emily & her team. My husband and I ...
had a super unique, slightly crazy vision for our wedding—a mix of immersive experience and epic concert—and Emily not only understood it, but she absolutely nailed it.
From start to finish, Emily was an absolute dream to work with. She took the inside of my head (which was full of things like a surprise guest, an aerialist, a mentalist, a face painter, a flair bartender, and a fortune teller) and made it all happen. Somehow, she managed to blend all of those “out-there” elements with a stunning, Black Tie aesthetic that was both beautiful and cohesive. No idea was too weird for her, and she always made us feel like anything was possible.
Emily also brought an incredible team with her on the day of the wedding, and everything was seamless throughout the day. We had a traditional ceremony at The William Vale, and then a totally off-the-wall reception at Brooklyn Bowl—and she made both feel like they were part of one incredible story. Her attention to detail, calm energy, and organization allowed us to enjoy every second without worrying about what was happening behind the scenes.
The best part: Emily let us fully enjoy the planning process. She handled so much of the heavy lifting and was always available for us, whether we needed advice, reassurance, or just someone to talk through ideas with.
If you’re considering hiring Luna & Charlie, stop thinking about it and just DO IT. I truly can’t imagine anyone else pulling off our weird, wonderful, magical day. Emily is absolutely the best!!!

eral weddings, I originally wasn’t even considering hiring a coordinator at first, however my mother-in-law talked me into it and it was the BEST decision I could’ve made!!
We had an intro call with Emily where she took the time to get to know my husband, Alex, and I on a deeper, personal level and we clicked immediately. Not only was she a fellow Beyonce fan, but I could tell she was going to be on top of everything from the gecko. We utilized her for the 45-days leading up to our wedding, however she would check in every once in a while prior to see how we’re doing and answer any questions I had (which I always seemed to have A LOT). 2 months leading up to the wedding Emily took everything over!!! I would mention something I needed to get done and she was already on it–putting my mind at ease in the most critical time when I needed the most help. Just a few examples: she helped me with the small details, design elements, took over all communications with my other vendors, helping with the seating charts, printing day-of-materials. etc. Literally everything I needed help with, Emily was there and went above and beyond to ensure I was stress free.
On the wedding day, all I can say was thank goodness Emily and team were there!!! They truly made everything look easy when I knew nothing was: from steaming dresses, handling vendors/tips, coordinating the bridal party, ensuring parents/grandparents are happy (including myself and the groom), making sure the flowers, decorations, etc. were all set up the way I envisioned–likely a whole lot more than what I even can think of. They were ON TOP OF EVERYTHING!!! When we left for my after-party post-reception, I knew no one would have to worry about gathering anything because Emily and team were there.
I can’t recommend Emily enough to all future brides!! Seriously, don’t wait and question it like I did. Emily is worth every penny and made my day everything I wanted it to be and more!!! <3
nvestment we ever made for our wedding! There are amazing things I could say about Emily, but I will segment them into three parts: Her incredible ability to bring a vision to life...
, The incredible person and planning partner that she is, and her talent in helping manage every facet of your day!
And we started our wedding planning journey we had an idea of what we wanted, but Emily to help us take it to the next level by helping us find a ✨DREAM✨ team vendors from our photographer to our stationary to florist and more, Emily heard our vision about each individual detail and was able to bring it to life with the help of a few vendors and help us communicate what we wanted to these vendors in a way that can only be described as a pure natural talent! Our day came to life even better than our wildest dreams and that’s mainly due to Emily’s ability to understand a vision and execute it flawlessly!
Emily has a person is an amazing planning partner. She is fine. She is witty and she comes to the table with ideas, you instantly feel a trust in Emily and it made our Experience being engaged, all the more sweeter to have an amazing partner who hyped us up and helped us deal with the stressful pieces of wedding planning so seamlessly she really helped us enjoy every minute of our engagement, which is something that is so priceless. As an a type person, Emily became my best friend. She’s also very type A and loves to be a partner in planning with you! Emily is kind authentic and genuinely loves what she does and is one of the most talented people at it! You won’t find a better partner plan with Emily!
When it came to managing conversations with vendors again, Emily was always on the ball and never dropped it, we had the best experience working with Emily and her team, both ahead of the day and the day of to make sure that we stayed on timeline that vendors set up an executed details that were in line with our vision and overall help us build a flow of the day where we felt calm and didn’t have to worry about a thing And just enjoy our wedding and experiencing the day with the people that we love most!
We had about a 215 person wedding also had a lot of logistics to jump through wedding planning will always have its road bumps, but she helped us At every step to work around things in a way that made the process not stressful at all! If you’re thinking about whether or not, you should hire a wedding planner definitely do it planning weddings in general is a stressful experience and having a partner who knows what they’re doing and also provide support along the way is priceless and the ROI on what it will bring to your experience and day is VERY high! We can’t say enough amazing things about Emily. She is truly a talent and a one of the kind person who any person would be lucky to have helping plan their wedding

ding weekend. I personally love planning and very anal so really appreciated her style of planning and communication which was direct, efficient, detailed and ensured that I felt brought along during every decision. Her team during the weeks leading up to the event and the wedding weekend itself were excellent. She made all of the vendor communications, set up, take down, final touches, and execution seem so easy and seamless when it truly was so much work. She ensured that I as the bride was so stress free during the entire weekend and was able to really be in the moment and enjoy. Such a pleasure to work with Emily and her team and we were so lucky to have had them by our sides.
Hiring Luna & Charlie was the best decision we made during our wedding process! If you’re debating whether or not to hire a wedding planner, do it! And do yourself a favor and work...
with Emily and Melinda. They presented many, many options for every decision we had to make, taking all of the guesswork out and prevented us from having to do endless research on each little detail. And they always provided helpful push back on things we really didn’t need to splurge on. We were able to be present and in the moment for the entire long weekend of wedding festivities and didn’t worry about a thing.
Where to begin? Hiring Emily was easily the best investment for our wedding. We had a 160 person event and hired Luna and Charlie for the “month-of” wedding management package star...
ting 8 weeks ahead of the event. Emily and her team made the entire planning process so much easier through their event-planning expertise, creativity, quick responsiveness, and attention to detail. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Emily took a tremendous amount of stress off of us by providing constant communication and support. I personally am an extremely organized and detail-oriented perfectionist, and Emily was not only incredibly patient with all of my emails and what-ifs and micro-decisions, but she blew me away with her top-notch organizational skills. It really allowed me to relax knowing I was in good hands. On the wedding day itself, Emily and her team were amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful in ensuring the day went smoothly, even with bad weather requiring us to pivot some of our plans. Emily’s help allowed us to be guests at our own party and truly enjoy - she went above and beyond. Emily also is so cool and funny and awesome to spend time with (I will miss her!). Every single aspect of wedding planning was less stressful thanks to Emily, and I genuinely credit Emily for single-handedly preserving my mental health & have so much love for her. We couldn’t be more grateful for Emily and her team and strongly suggest hiring Luna and Charlie for your next event! Hiring Emily is not only a smart decision for planning a successful and gorgeous event, but it’s also self care!!!

s thing would have happened without Luna & Charlie and the brilliant work of Emily B, Melinda & their team! Their commitment to our event, their attention to detail, their absolute brilliance at staying on top of a thousand little details we would have missed were so amazing. Not only did they make this event happen, they made it truly next level, helping us settle on the very best vendors in every category. What’s more, their advice on where to spend and where to save helped make the day special, and beautiful without busting the budget. The guests, the family members, and especially the bride and groom were amazed with the final results, and even the vendors were impressed with how it all came together in a visually stunning and emotionally beautiful day. We can’t say enough. Luna & Charlie are the best!

efore the day of the Wedding. They helped me with my design, and brought my vision to life with our vendors. On the day of, they helped us with everything so we didn't have to think about a thing and were just able to enjoy our day and be present. We cant thank you both enough for everything!!! We can't wait to work with you for our next big event!!
Thank you Emily and the Luna & Charlie team for making our wedding day dreams come true! We first connected with Emily and her team about 2 months before our wedding, which was set...
to take place in a family backyard. We had hired all the vendors and started to realize just how much day-of coordination would be needed to pull of the day, and understood that we were in way over our heads! From the very first call with Emily, we could tell that she was organized, hardworking, supremely professional and calm, cool and collected. We honestly sighed a huge sigh of relief as soon as Emily was on board and I cannot even begin to explain how valuable that was to us. She provided us with her 45 day planning service, which included every possible detail pertaining to day-of execution, including many things we would have never thought about! She gathered certificates of insurance, performed a site visit, confirmed power availability in comparison with vendors' power requirements, came up with a rain plan, worked us to plan out gratuities and vendor meals, checked order forms and inventory for furniture delivery, reached out to every vendor, coordinated with the officiant and band regarding timeline and cueing, had weekly progress calls and more. And that was just BEFORE the big day! 3 days before the wedding, after the tent arrived, I realized I had forgotten to order drapes for the tent poles, and she had relationship with a company and was able to get them to install drapes the very next day! The day of, she handled all of the setup and vendor coordination so seamlessly it was truly like magic. My husband and I were able to truly enjoy the entire day and be present with our family and friends, and that was a real testament to Emily's team and how good they are at what they do, and the faith that we had in her. The most special moment for us, though, happened during the ceremony. It was our dream for our (indoor) cat to be our ringbearer. But that would involve someone going inside, strapping him into his harness, putting him into a cat stroller and wheeling him down to the ceremony just in time for his big entrance before he started meowing too loudly! Well let me tell you that Emily shepherded our sweet baby down to the ceremony and back like he was her own! I had been stressed about that moment for months and all the things that could've gone wrong, but so eager to make it happen, and the fact that her team went SO above and beyond to make that moment possible was incredibly special and truly a gift that we will be able to remember for the rest of our lives! Truly, the day and our enjoyment of it would not have been possible without Emily and her team. We cannot thank you enough!!!!

ly was there every step of the way for the 45-day out planning process. I am very type A and want to do everything on my own and was so comfortable with Emily stepping in and taking over. She worked with all of our vendors and coordinated everything for the day of. If you want a stress free wedding day you are in the right hands with Emily. Emily calmed me down when I was feeling overwhelmed with tasks and took over. My shoes were getting snagged on my dress and Emily was there with a solution immediately. Emily and Melinda felt like family and they helped make our day an unforgettable experience going above and beyond!
Emily and Melinda were the best planners ever!! They made everything so much easier and I can’t imagine doing it without them. I will always recommend their service. Amazing.!!!!
Rave reviews are still coming in on how amazing our wedding was and it was all thanks to the Luna & Charlie team! Emily and Melinda are the absolute best and truly put their heart ...
and soul into every event that they plan. Not to mention that their fun and sunny personalities make the whole process that much better. They have great recommendations and if there is anything that you aren't 100% in love with during the planning process they make it their mission to find something else that you absolutely love. It was also great to have a team that I could trust with me on the wedding day so that I could just relax and enjoy and know that they would have everything under control. I could not recommend Luna & Charlie Events enough and have already recommended them to several recently engaged friends! We love Emily and Melinda and know that you will too!

the way. We were particularly blown away by Emily's can-do, positive attitude the day of where no task was too small and no problem too big to solve. It was such a pleasure working with the Luna & Charlie team. I would recommend them to anyone.

the littlest details but also helping me see the big picture and letting me enjoy myself. From vetting vendors to negotiating prices and everything in between, I trusted Emily’s knowledge and judgment. My husband and I literally had a blissful rehearsal dinner and wedding day because it was so easy to trust Emily to support us the whole way through. Everyone in my wedding party and family loved Emily because she was so focused and attentive but also fun to be around. I definitely recommend working with Emily at Luna & Charlie Events. She makes you feel like a VIP on your wedding day and will always go the extra mile for you!

ling like I was working with my best friends, the entire experience from initial planning all the way through to our 5-day wedding event was meticulously planned and thoughtfully executed. The level of attention, responsiveness and care while also "getting me" and anticipating all my thoughts, needs and questions was out of this world. Emily was able to take a vague concept and turn it into a magical, epic and truly memorable wedding. It was important to us to have a unique and one-of-a-kind non-traditional wedding while retaining the intimacy, romance and feeling of love that more traditional weddings invoke, and Luna & Charlie did just that. I can't recommend Emily and Luna & Charlie enough, particularly for truly bespoke weddings that highlight a couple's individuality. All our guests had the best time stating the entire 5-day wedding felt like "us" and a big warm hug!

oughout the entire planning process of our wedding and on the day-of our big event. From the very beginning, Emily got to know us on a level that was important for her to capture the essence of our vision and our priorities. Her abilities as an event planner are nothing short of ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Our wedding turned out to be a STUNNING event. Before the big day, Emily sat down with us to discuss every detail; she really took the time to get to know us as a couple and our love story. Emily and her team are extremely detail-oriented, timely, organized, patient, and personable, so it was no surprise that Luna and Charlie did a fantastic job on the day of our wedding. Every detail was coordinated down to the minute. She explained the program Aisle Planner and made things so easy for us to stay organized—she even made a customized how-to guide so that we could easily upload information to the program ourselves as needed. Emily is extremely responsive via phone call and email and answered all of our questions regarding what we wanted, the contract, schedule, and last-minute changes on the day-of. She is so easy to work with and very accommodating. On the actual day of our wedding, she eased our nerves and sustained a sense of professionalism even when things got stressful. Throughout the wedding, she continued to check up on us, kept us on timeline, and ensured that we were being taken care of every step of the way. LOOK NO FURTHER THAN LUNA AND CHARLIE FOR YOUR NEXT BIG EVENT! Needless to say, the event turned out unbelievably beautiful and PERFECT. Overall, we could not have been more pleased with the outcome—our wedding was an absolute DREAM! I would enthusiastically recommend Emily Bonenfant and Luna and Charlie for your wedding or event. Book her now!
Emily and her Luna&Charlie team were an absolute DREAM to work with. Emily took our wedding vision and executed it perfectly. We never imagined our wedding could look as beautiful ...
as it did, but Emily blew away our expectations as our wedding planner. Emily helped us find our wonderful vendors (that we never could have found on our own) and then seamlessly transitioned them from our postponed 2020 wedding to our 2021 wedding day. She curated a stunning mood board, bringing together all the random ideas we had into one cohesive, beautiful event. On the day of the wedding, Emily and her team took care of all the details, helping the day transition beautifully and always made sure we were taken care of :) Emily is an expert in her field and we truly cannot thank her enough for creating our perfect wedding. We could not have done it without her. If you are looking for a professional, kind, and extremely talented wedding planner, look no further than Emily of Luna & Charlie! We love you Emily!

he winter, we decided to have a smaller summer gathering closer to our families in Hartford, CT. We had 4 months to plan an 80-person DIY wedding from thousands of miles away, and with a challenging venue that did not have wedding experience. Emily put us at ease from Day 1 -- she helped get us organized and on-track, she navigated all of those tough vendor situations for us, and most of all, she made us feel so special and wanted to us to be able to enjoy the whole process. The actual day could not have gone smoother. We are so thrilled with how everything unfolded and cannot thank Luna & Charlie enough!
My wife and I hired Luna & Charlie, specifically Emily Bonenfant, to be our daughter’s Wedding Planner. MaryFrances, our daughter, was living in NYC at the time and wanted to have...
a Wedding in Connecticut.
Emily and the firm are out of Connecticut and given her relationships and location she could do things that Susan and I could not do from Dallas.
After completely planning and paying 75% for the event, the Connecticut Wedding had to be cancelled due to COVID. Incredibly long story but at Emily’s suggestion we had bought event insurance which was the only reason there was a second planned wedding.
The 2nd wedding was in Dallas. Emily, given her location, not so important in running a Dallas event. However, she was so crucial to the Connecticut wedding we hired her again to do the Dallas wedding. She claimed she had contacts in Dallas, etc. which she did but it did not matter she did such a great job in Connecticut we knew she could handle anything and we all liked her so much we said “sure” and hired her for a second time.
I don’t know what you get from hiring a $15-$30-thousand-dollar wedding planner out of NY that we did not get from Emily. She was perfect, she organized and executed on everything. She cost about 4.5% of the cost of the total wedding and while I would never had agreed to pay more prior to the wedding for a planner, in hindsight, her fees were very modest for the services she performed. I considered her services delivered at a bargain price compared to some of the other vendors.
Emily is too good for her industry; it must be a labor of love for her because I don’t think she does it for the money. If you have the chance hire her immediately for your child’s wedding. DO IT! If she can navigate two Pandemic Wedding(s) and still be praised by her clients she’s got to be doing something right.
BTW, we had 100 people at our wedding and only 4 guests contracted COVID the following week, not exactly a Super Spreader Event due to Emily’s planning. She’s more than worth it.
Emily is an absolute dream to work with! I'm a planner based in Dallas/Fort Worth, and she reached out to me to assist her with a wedding weekend that she had originally planned in...
Connecticut but that was being moved to Dallas due to covid restrictions in the northeast. This was a wedding Emily had been working on for two years, through all the changes and challenges that came with the pandemic (including three reschedules and two different venues!), and the results of her patient and tireless work were BEYOND stunning. Her designs for all three weekend events - the rehearsal dinner, the wedding itself, and the farewell party - came together beautifully, and it was so clear that these clients trusted her 100%. She anticipated every need and kept everyone on-track through what would have otherwise been a very complex day with tons of moving parts. Her calm demeanor, sense of humor, and confidence made her practically part of the family, and every guest we spoke to had nothing but compliments to share - including a few who said that this was the best wedding they'd ever attended! Overall, Emily was so wonderful to work with - both from the client side, clearly, and from the vendor side - and anyone would be lucky to have her as their planner. She's truly amazing at what she does!!!

e to pull off such a feat, but during our first meeting with Emily, we told her that we were hoping to plan our wedding in six weeks and she confidently told us that it would be possible. In the end, our wedding day turned out to be better than we could have imagined and we could not have done it without her.
We were somewhat specific in what we wanted for our wedding. For example, it was a Catholic ceremony, a reception outdoors on a farm, farm-to-table food, vintage furniture and plates, and particular wedding invitations and live music as well as specific photographers and flower arrangements. With all of her connections to vendors, Emily was able to pinpoint places that could give us what we wanted while still staying within our budget. She was able to assess the type of people that we are, with our particular tastes, and offer us choices that fit what we were looking for. While there was still a lot of work on our end to set up guest lists and ensure that appointments were made, Emily was able to take much of what we wanted, have it organized, and arranged to have it set up on the day of the wedding while giving us so much guidance and support in the process.
We are so grateful for the wedding day that we had and we highly recommend Emily as a wedding planner.

d on a home wedding (I was not in favor as I wanted to enjoy the day), so in came Emily! She truly made my daughters wedding a day to remember, for the bride and groom and for my husband and I. We felt taken care of and were truly able to enjoy the day because Emily took care of EVERYTHING! She had wonderful ideas, was incredible easy to work with and was a complete PRO!! She's a wonderful person and I truly say she saved our day, and made it the most wonderful wedding I've ever been too!! Don't think twice about hiring her!
This was by far the best investment from my wedding. Emily is phenomenal!!! She is incredibly organized, flexible, creative, and quite possibly the sweetest person I have ever met....
She carries herself so professionally and truly hears you. Not to mention, she has the patience of a saint. She navigated scheduling, rescheduling, communicating with new venues and vendors, organized visits, attended every vendor meeting, and above all ran everything perfectly the day of.
As a 2020 bride, like so many others, all of our plans were flipped upside down. My photographer recommended I reach out to Emily, I am so happy that I did. Emily was able to make me feel excited again about my wedding after our first phone consultation. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for Emily, she so much more than a planner.....(at times my very own therapist ha!) I would recommend her and trust her with anything. Our family members were so blown away by all that she did we cannot wait to work with her again for our large event this upcoming fall!

eated pre covid but she also planned an almost completely different wedding after pandemic restrictions greatly altered our original plans. Emily made me feel comfortable and empowered with making decisions throughout the process. She saw my vision and made it come to life. My wedding was a dream and I owe it to her! Thank you Emily, would recommend her services to everyone!!
Emily is awesome! Although I didn't hire her for my own wedding (I wish I had known about her at the time), I've been the photographer at two of her couple's weddings. Both times ...
Emily kept me in the loop before, during, and after the wedding. When things changed on the day, she would update me. She asked my advice and checked with me before changing lighting at the reception. She truly cares about her couples and she has a lot of fun with what she does, while also being super organized and on top of everything. That's a combination that's hard to come by, and it's essential for weddings. I wish I could have her with me at every wedding!
Emily handled the complicated logistics and the very busy schedule of two young professionals with flexibility, perseverance, patience, expertise and humor. She knew when to step...
in and provide solutions, vendors and materials but also when to step back and let the young couple's vision of their wedding prevail. The feedback from our guests included the words "flawless" and "seamless", which reflected our experience with Emily perfectly well. We could not recommend her more highly.
We hired Emily about six months before the wedding when after we had chosen a venue the band and the florist we decided we needed help with timeline and arrangements. It turned out...
that without her I am convinced there would not have been any wedding. She is warm caring loving efficient thorough punctual and any other accolade you could think of. She made everybody relaxed and she was kind and gentle to every vendor as well as my daughter, the bride and myself. She is so organized and so efficient and beyond being on top of things she was ahead of things. She anticipated and planned and she did it with a smile and a” I will take care of that”. You cannot go wrong with this event planner. She is truly one of a kind and if you are able to hire her count yourself among the luckiest . I even think she is a true bargain.

then the actual weekend of the wedding she took care of everything so I could enjoy myself. And I did!! I would highly recommend her as she is very professional and made the whole evening go off without a hitch. They also had a lage wedding party and so lots of peoeple to organize and she handled everyone masterfully. Emily helped to create a wonderful tone of fun and organization. She is the best!

On the day we had the entire Luna and Charlie staff organizing, directing, and making everything run smoothly from the "getting ready" locations to the church to the cocktail hour and reception. We highly recommend Luna and Charlie Events for the most important day of your life because they made our most important day so effortless and memorable.

ng. She took our vision and made it even better than I could have imagined. She knew exactly the style I was going for, which made me feel like I was in the good hands of somebody who just got who I was and what I wanted. I am pretty indecisive, to say the least, and was constantly going back and forth between things I wanted and didn't, but she hung in there and made adjustments with no complaints. She was always available to talk in person, by phone, email, or text and always made me feel like a priority.
Our venue had newly opened, had no built in vendors and had a complicated lay out, as our entire wedding was in 3 different locations. I was so overwhelmed by the thought of organizing the event, but Emily helped me keep a level head and made each task manageable. Even though she just started her own business recently, she has had years of experience in the event planning business, which really showed by her extensive connections with various vendors. She was able to give us a wide variety of vendors to choose from and always kept our budget in mind. She handled all of our difficult vendors with finesse and made sure we got everything we wanted.
On the day of, I was completely at ease because I knew she had everything under control. I don't think there was a single issue that came up, and if there was, I was not made aware. She was so calm and collected the whole night, but don't let her sweet personality fool you, because that girl gets things done! I kept telling my husband that if I didn't marry him, I was going to marry Emily because she truly is an incredible person and wedding planner. She truly made our wedding day the best day ever.

ttle vision of the elements we wanted for our wedding. Emily made the process feel simple and achievable. She took on a great deal of communication and coordination with vendors so that my wife and I didn't have to. She provided timelines and gave us small, achievable steps to take to get to our big day. Emily was patient, accommodated our schedules, and REALLY took the time to get to understand us, our concerns, and helped us develop a vision for our day. Her work ethic and care for every detail of a wedding are impeccable! The end result was a truly amazing and beautiful day that flowed SEAMLESSLY. Emily addressed any and all guest questions/concerns so that my wife and I could focus on enjoying our day.
We cannot say enough good things about Emily and highly recommend her.
