had a super unique, slightly crazy vision for our wedding—a mix of immersive experience and epic concert—and Emily not only understood it, but she absolutely nailed it.
From start to finish, Emily was an absolute dream to work with. She took the inside of my head (which was full of things like a surprise guest, an aerialist, a mentalist, a face painter, a flair bartender, and a fortune teller) and made it all happen. Somehow, she managed to blend all of those “out-there” elements with a stunning, Black Tie aesthetic that was both beautiful and cohesive. No idea was too weird for her, and she always made us feel like anything was possible.
Emily also brought an incredible team with her on the day of the wedding, and everything was seamless throughout the day. We had a traditional ceremony at The William Vale, and then a totally off-the-wall reception at Brooklyn Bowl—and she made both feel like they were part of one incredible story. Her attention to detail, calm energy, and organization allowed us to enjoy every second without worrying about what was happening behind the scenes.
The best part: Emily let us fully enjoy the planning process. She handled so much of the heavy lifting and was always available for us, whether we needed advice, reassurance, or just someone to talk through ideas with.

eral weddings, I originally wasn’t even considering hiring a coordinator at first, however my mother-in-law talked me into it and it was the BEST decision I could’ve made!!
We had an intro call with Emily where she took the time to get to know my husband, Alex, and I on a deeper, personal level and we clicked immediately. Not only was she a fellow Beyonce fan, but I could tell she was going to be on top of everything from the gecko. We utilized her for the 45-days leading up to our wedding, however she would check in every once in a while prior to see how we’re doing and answer any questions I had (which I always seemed to have A LOT). 2 months leading up to the wedding Emily took everything over!!! I would mention something I needed to get done and she was already on it–putting my mind at ease in the most critical time when I needed the most help. Just a few examples: she helped me with the small details, design elements, took over all communications with my other vendors, helping with the seating charts, printing day-of-materials. etc. Literally everything I needed help with, Emily was there and went above and beyond to ensure I was stress free.
On the wedding day, all I can say was thank goodness Emily and team were there!!! They truly made everything look easy when I knew nothing was: from steaming dresses, handling vendors/tips, coordinating the bridal party, ensuring parents/grandparents are happy (including myself and the groom), making sure the flowers, decorations, etc. were all set up the way I envisioned–likely a whole lot more than what I even can think of. They were ON TOP OF EVERYTHING!!! When we left for my after-party post-reception, I knew no one would have to worry about gathering anything because Emily and team were there.
I can’t recommend Emily enough to all future brides!! Seriously, don’t wait and question it like I did. Emily is worth every penny and made my day everything I wanted it to be and more!!! <3

And we started our wedding planning journey we had an idea of what we wanted, but Emily to help us take it to the next level by helping us find a ✨DREAM✨ team vendors from our photographer to our stationary to florist and more, Emily heard our vision about each individual detail and was able to bring it to life with the help of a few vendors and help us communicate what we wanted to these vendors in a way that can only be described as a pure natural talent! Our day came to life even better than our wildest dreams and that’s mainly due to Emily’s ability to understand a vision and execute it flawlessly!
Emily has a person is an amazing planning partner. She is fine. I personally love planning and very anal so really appreciated her style of planning and communication which was direct, efficient, detailed and ensured that I felt brought along during every decision. Her team during the weeks leading up to the event and the wedding weekend itself were excellent. She made all of the vendor communications, set up, take down, final touches, and execution seem so easy and seamless when it truly was so much work. It really allowed me to relax knowing I was in good hands. We had hired all the vendors and started to realize just how much day-of coordination would be needed to pull of the day, and understood that we were in way over our heads! From the very first call with Emily, we could tell that she was organized, hardworking, supremely professional and calm, cool and collected. We honestly sighed a huge sigh of relief as soon as Emily was on board and I cannot even begin to explain how valuable that was to us. She provided us with her 45 day planning service, which included every possible detail pertaining to day-of execution, including many things we would have never thought about! She gathered certificates of insurance, performed a site visit, confirmed power availability in comparison with vendors' power requirements, came up with a rain plan, worked us to plan out gratuities and vendor meals, checked order forms and inventory for furniture delivery, reached out to every vendor, coordinated with the officiant and band regarding timeline and cueing, had weekly progress calls and more. And that was just BEFORE the big day! 3 days before the wedding, after the tent arrived, I realized I had forgotten to order drapes for the tent poles, and she had relationship with a company and was able to get them to install drapes the very next day! The day of, she handled all of the setup and vendor coordination so seamlessly it was truly like magic. My husband and I were able to truly enjoy the entire day and be present with our family and friends, and that was a real testament to Emily's team and how good they are at what they do, and the faith that we had in her. The most special moment for us, though, happened during the ceremony. It was our dream for our (indoor) cat to be our ringbearer. But that would involve someone going inside, strapping him into his harness, putting him into a cat stroller and wheeling him down to the ceremony just in time for his big entrance before he started meowing too loudly! Well let me tell you that Emily shepherded our sweet baby down to the ceremony and back like he was her own! I had been stressed about that moment for months and all the things that could've gone wrong, but so eager to make it happen, and the fact that her team went SO above and beyond to make that moment possible was incredibly special and truly a gift that we will be able to remember for the rest of our lives! She worked with all of our vendors and coordinated everything for the day of. If you want a stress free wedding day you are in the right hands with Emily. he winter, we decided to have a smaller summer gathering closer to our families in Hartford, CT. We had 4 months to plan an 80-person DIY wedding from thousands of miles away, and with a challenging venue that did not have wedding experience. Emily put us at ease from Day 1 -- she helped get us organized and on-track, she navigated all of those tough vendor situations for us, and most of all, she made us feel so special and wanted to us to be able to enjoy the whole process. The actual day could not have gone smoother. We are so thrilled with how everything unfolded and cannot thank Luna & Charlie enough!

Emily and the firm are out of Connecticut and given her relationships and location she could do things that Susan and I could not do from Dallas.
After completely planning and paying 75% for the event, the Connecticut Wedding had to be cancelled due to COVID. Incredibly long story but at Emily’s suggestion we had bought event insurance which was the only reason there was a second planned wedding.
The 2nd wedding was in Dallas. Emily, given her location, not so important in running a Dallas event. However, she was so crucial to the Connecticut wedding we hired her again to do the Dallas wedding. She claimed she had contacts in Dallas, etc. which she did but it did not matter she did such a great job in Connecticut we knew she could handle anything and we all liked her so much we said “sure” and hired her for a second time.
I don’t know what you get from hiring a $15-$30-thousand-dollar wedding planner out of NY that we did not get from Emily. She was perfect, she organized and executed on everything. She cost about 4.5% of the cost of the total wedding and while I would never had agreed to pay more prior to the wedding for a planner, in hindsight, her fees were very modest for the services she performed. I considered her services delivered at a bargain price compared to some of the other vendors.
Emily is too good for her industry; it must be a labor of love for her because I don’t think she does it for the money. If you have the chance hire her immediately for your child’s wedding. DO IT! If she can navigate two Pandemic Wedding(s) and still be praised by her clients she’s got to be doing something right.
BTW, we had 100 people at our wedding and only 4 guests contracted COVID the following week, not exactly a Super Spreader Event due to Emily’s planning. She’s more than worth it.

Connecticut but that was being moved to Dallas due to covid restrictions in the northeast. This was a wedding Emily had been working on for two years, through all the changes and challenges that came with the pandemic (including three reschedules and two different venues!), and the results of her patient and tireless work were BEYOND stunning. Her designs for all three weekend events - the rehearsal dinner, the wedding itself, and the farewell party - came together beautifully, and it was so clear that these clients trusted her 100%. She anticipated every need and kept everyone on-track through what would have otherwise been a very complex day with tons of moving parts. Her calm demeanor, sense of humor, and confidence made her practically part of the family, and every guest we spoke to had nothing but compliments to share - including a few who said that this was the best wedding they'd ever attended! Overall, Emily was so wonderful to work with - both from the client side, clearly, and from the vendor side - and anyone would be lucky to have her as their planner. She's truly amazing at what she does!!!

e to pull off such a feat, but during our first meeting with Emily, we told her that we were hoping to plan our wedding in six weeks and she confidently told us that it would be possible. In the end, our wedding day turned out to be better than we could have imagined and we could not have done it without her.
We were somewhat specific in what we wanted for our wedding. For example, it was a Catholic ceremony, a reception outdoors on a farm, farm-to-table food, vintage furniture and plates, and particular wedding invitations and live music as well as specific photographers and flower arrangements. With all of her connections to vendors, Emily was able to pinpoint places that could give us what we wanted while still staying within our budget. She was able to assess the type of people that we are, with our particular tastes, and offer us choices that fit what we were looking for. While there was still a lot of work on our end to set up guest lists and ensure that appointments were made, Emily was able to take much of what we wanted, have it organized, and arranged to have it set up on the day of the wedding while giving us so much guidance and support in the process.
We are so grateful for the wedding day that we had and we highly recommend Emily as a wedding planner.

Emily kept me in the loop before, during, and after the wedding. When things changed on the day, she would update me. She asked my advice and checked with me before changing lighting at the reception. She truly cares about her couples and she has a lot of fun with what she does, while also being super organized and on top of everything. ng. She took our vision and made it even better than I could have imagined. She knew exactly the style I was going for, which made me feel like I was in the good hands of somebody who just got who I was and what I wanted. I am pretty indecisive, to say the least, and was constantly going back and forth between things I wanted and didn't, but she hung in there and made adjustments with no complaints. She was always available to talk in person, by phone, email, or text and always made me feel like a priority.
Our venue had newly opened, had no built in vendors and had a complicated lay out, as our entire wedding was in 3 different locations. I was so overwhelmed by the thought of organizing the event, but Emily helped me keep a level head and made each task manageable. Even though she just started her own business recently, she has had years of experience in the event planning business, which really showed by her extensive connections with various vendors. She was able to give us a wide variety of vendors to choose from and always kept our budget in mind. She handled all of our difficult vendors with finesse and made sure we got everything we wanted.
On the day of, I was completely at ease because I knew she had everything under control. I don't think there was a single issue that came up, and if there was, I was not made aware. She was so calm and collected the whole night, but don't let her sweet personality fool you, because that girl gets things done! I kept telling my husband that if I didn't marry him, I was going to marry Emily because she truly is an incredible person and wedding planner. She truly made our wedding day the best day ever.
