I don’t even know where to begin with describing how instrumental Alison was in making our wedding day so special. From the very first meeting, she was organized, knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to. She always makes you feel like your wedding is her top priority and responds so quickly to emails and texts. Alison went above and beyond with in-person meetings, finding vendors for rentals we needed at the reception, and putting together a detailed day-of timeline. Not only does she coordinate with your existing vendors to make sure everyone is on the same page, she also has a list of vendors she recommends and has worked with before. We hired a DJ, florist, and cake baker specifically from her vendor list and each of them were incredible. She is so friendly and professional and has the most calming presence on your wedding day. I truly had nothing to worry about the whole day because I knew we were in great hands. I am forever thankful to Alison for all the work she put into our wedding, the way she communicated every step of the way, and her sweet personality that made it feel like we were celebrating with a dear friend. If you’re going to hire a wedding coordinator, go with Alison Smith! You will not be disappointed.

We hired Alison in August of 2021 after realizing we couldn't juggle the 13+ vendors coming into our venue for our wedding. I was a little concerned hiring a planner because our wedding budget was creeping up so much and I thought I could manage myself - but out of all the money spent for our wedding - hiring Alison was hands down the BEST DECISION we have ever made(other than getting married haha). High level overview of what Alison did for us: -She contacted EVERY SINGLE vendor of ours for us. -She communicated with them changes or ideas we had. -She brought our vision to reality with the vendors. -She always responded back to my emails/texts within 24hours(more like a couple of hours). -I decided to buy and bring in my own décor. She handled EVERYTHING. It was a lot of décor and I cried with how beautiful it was and how she made it look. There was a whole room full of boxes with décor she had to sort through and organize, she crushed it! -She adjusted to our needs/wants for our guests at all times. -More importantly it felt like she was an extension of myself - it was so comforting to know that she was on the same wavelength as me and had the same visions as me for what I wanted our venue to look like - and communicating with our vendors. -We got married at the Durham Museum - she was great about every single detail the day of and the coordinating the day of! -She had timelines all printed and ready to go - she even sent the timelines to all of our vendors so I wasn't getting any calls from them. In fact, I never got A SINGLE call from any of the vendors - what a stress relief as a bride who is being pulled in a million different directions from family and friends the day before and day of! The only regret we have is NOT BOOKING HER SOONER! When we hired Alison, we had already booked a lot of vendors for the wedding and she had to sort through all of it (it was a mess). I really wish we would have booked her from the start. Not to mention her prices are so reasonable. She is so cost effective because ladies, as we know, weddings are EXPENSIVE. Alison was worth easily double what she charged us. I know for a fact we will be hiring Alison for any future events our household has - It doesn't matter if it's small or not, she will be our go to gal for EVERYTHING. SO WORTH IT!. Words/comments to describe Alison: -Great communicator! Like I said, she replied within hours for us. -She means business! She was easily able to wrangle up our wedding crew (hard to do when our family is rowdy!). -She is very professional - I had so many compliments on how the day turned out and the Vendors LOVED working with her. -She is on time (actually she is always early :)) -She let's you know every single detail! -She is also very upbeat and bubbly! Making you feel great :) Please, future brides or people looking for someone to help plan your even - HIRE ALISON! You will not regret it! - Best Planner in Omaha! BEST! I feel beyond lucky I was able to find Alison - not only do I feel like I want to relive our wedding day over and over again, because it was so special and amazing, but I feel as if I gained a great friend to do life with some more <3 What an amazing person and amazing company.

Alison made our wedding day a breeze! She helped us with all the details, was prepared with all the things we didn't think of, and was always super responsive. We could not have done it without her. She went above and beyond in the days leading up to the wedding and helped put out all of our last minute fires. We will be recommending her to everyone!

Alison was a huge help leading up to and on our big day! She contacted all of our vendors, helped us with a day of schedule, and was always responsive to our questions and needs. We had complete peace of mind on our wedding day knowing that everything would be taken care of and she was the point of contact for any questions. She is amazing at what she does! Alison Smith (Lust for Life Event Planning) is the BEST wedding planner to ever exist. If you don't select her, you are doing yourself a disservice. I was fortunate enough to find her as my day of wedding planner through the Knot. After speaking to about 4 wedding planners, I went with Alison because she was straight forward, honest, and knowledgeable. Additionally, her package fit my needs the best, but that is not what sets her apart from other wedding planners. What sets her apart is that she felt like a good friend (and fairy godmother) who you could ask questions about anything wedding, and she went above and beyond the months and days leading up to the wedding. For example, the week leading up to my wedding it forecasted that it would rain. I really wanted to have my picture in a natural, out door setting. I immediately contacted Alison and she told me "not to worry" and she found a park with a cover (Mt Vernon Gardens in Omaha). I am forever grateful to Alison for finding this place. It didn't rain on my wedding day (phew!), and we still went with the Gardens rather than our original place! She helped me set up the day before my wedding, too, and helped me with all the parts that were making anxious such as "who will bring my flowers from the church to the reception?" My husband and I live in Omaha, but both of our families, including parents and everyone in the wedding party, do not live anywhere near here. I was on my own planning this whole wedding, and I felt so overwhelmed!I just needed someone to be my "right hand woman" the day of my wedding because I knew that wedding guests can be too hard to handle on my own on my wedding day! Alison is so organized and direct. She kept the wedding running smoothly. I know I am partial to this, as it is my wedding day, but our wedding day was the best day ever. I got to marry the love of my life and share that day with all my favorite people in the world. I can't think of one thing that "went wrong" on our wedding day. It was absolutely a dream come true. And I think it was all thanks to Alison, working diligently and quietly behind the scenes. If you want the best day ever too, go with Alison!

Alison really was the best person to have around on our big day and thought of all the little things to give important detail to. She was willing to help where ever needed and made our day so smooth! She made it so my day could be focused on us as a couple and we couldn't be more thankful!

Alison was my saving grace for our day! She was so prompt at responding to questions I had, coordinated with all of our vendors, and made sure I didn't have anything to worry about on our big day. I can't recommend her enough.

Enjoyed working with Alison. She was great about teaching out to our vendors to solidify all the details, making sure our day was perfect. She is very knowledgeable about the wedding process and a huge stress relief for the couple!

Such an amazing experience! As a maid of honor it was comforting seeing the bride so at ease with all details of her wedding already taken care of! A memorable day for so many reasons but more so because all of the sudden change of any detail was taken care of quickly and professionally which let everyone relax and cherish the day.
