We found Lux through our wedding coordinator. We rented a few smaller decor items and mirrors from Nick. Nick was so friendly and helpful in answering our questions. The collection at Lux is beautiful and really brought the vintage, timeless look we wanted to our wedding. My only regret is not utilizing more of Lux's collection!
We found out about Lux Event Rentals through our wedding planner and she held Nick in high regards. Needless to say, she was 100% spot on and then some. From the first initial phone call through our meeting, Nick displayed such professionalism, verve, intentionality, and excellence in his line of work. Planning a wedding in this pandemic is definitely not for the faint of heart, but partnering up with vendors like Lux event rentals reminded me of my dream wedding and it’s vision. We were SO LUCKY to have found Nick through our venue. My husband and I were crazy enough to plan a wedding in two months and decided at the last minute that we needed a "gaming corner." My husband does not dance and he needed a place where he can sit with his friends in front of a big TV and play video games (I know, it was silly in hindsight but a big hit that night!). I didn't want to use regular seating at the tables, I wanted an area that looked very elegant and well put-together.
I contacted Nick about two weeks before my Monday wedding and he was very accommodating and helpful through the entire process. I appreciated his open-mind to my vision. When I walked by that corner, I squealed with excitement because it looked exactly as I had envisioned it. It was the perfect amount of classy elegance and fun lounging. Nick worked with my coordinator for pick up and drop off and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Overall, I highly recommend Lux Event Rentals and would use them again in a heartbeat. We hired Lux Event Rentals for our wedding and used their fabulous peacock chairs for our sweetheart table! These chairs were a hit and all our guests mentioned how beautiful they were.
Nick was extremely helpful with designing and recommending other items while visiting his showroom. As a bride you want to hire vendors that are reliable and professional and Nick and his company are just that!
Nick was awesome and helped us every step of the way to find unique pieces that worked for our budget. Lux has an incredible collection and reasonable prices. We rented a gorgeous turkish rug for underneath our wedding arch, wooden donut towers, and vintage candlesticks. These touches really elevated our wedding, didn't break the budget, and made us feel great. Nick was super easy to work with; dropoff and pick up were simple and I am just so pleased! Highly recommend if you are looking for chic, unique pieces for your wedding!
The first thing I noticed upon meeting Nick was his professionalism and enthusiasm. He's very honest and all about his clients. He paid attention to our wants and incorporated them into every beautiful detail. We rented several sofas and tables for our wedding. He created gorgeous lounges and the dining area was absolutely stunning. His attention to detail is impeccable. I was skeptical about renting the goblets at first, but after he showed me what they'd look like in our dining area, I knew I had to have them! Nick knows what you want before you do. He was amazing to work with, and his support to make your day special just brings tears to my eyes. I couldnt leave a more glowing review. Thank you Nick!!
This review is going to be just a tad lengthy but definitely worth reading! If you are looking for the PERFECT stylist/rentals for your wedding, Nick is hands-down THE ONE!
Let me start by saying he is a doll to work with! He is always so quick to respond, very adaptable and completely understood my vision! To me, that was the most important! After all, it is your BIG DAY and Every bride/groom has their own unique vision! Seeing that come to life was beyond amazing! I truly felt like I had a Pinterest wedding. I showed him things I wanted to incorporate and showed him a few things that I had seen online or on Pinterest and I just let him take it and run with it! Best decision ever! He came up with things I never could have imagined and they were incredible! It was everything I could have ever hoped for and more! I honestly could not picture my wedding without Nick.
He styled my wedding favors, lounge, centerpieces, welcome vignette, guestbook vignette and even the bathroom counter! Nick also made a lot of custom pieces for us which were spectacular! For starters, our lounge was a show stopper! All of our guests, including us, took photos there and actually enjoyed the furniture throughout the night! It was the perfect spot to gather and relax right in the middle of the venue! Adding vintage statement pieces like that really took the wedding to the next level! Our wedding favors were clusters of birdseed shaped into big hearts (since we were outside) and Nick created a stunning 6ft tall picture frame with tree branches suspended into the center to hang the birdseed from.. I mean com’ on!!
It was so awesome! He also custom made or welcome sign which we will keep and cherish forever!
Our wedding was in Lafayette at Wildwood Acres Resort. If you have not chosen a venue yet.. BRIDES.. this is definitely a must see! The venue is full of twinkle lights and canopied by huge bay and oak trees! So to say it’s beautiful on its own is an understatement. Nick is a preferred vendor there and so immediately that spoke volumes of his work! We were going for a woodsy, yet elegant look. Nick completely executed that! Everyone all night, and anyone who sees photos says that it is the most beautiful wedding they have ever been too or seen! I can truly say that was all thanks to Nick and his amazing team! He truly has a gift for styling and creating amazing pieces! The furniture was delivered and picked up by him and his team the day of the wedding! He worked side by side with all of our other vendors who couldn’t say enough great things about him as well! I promise you will not be disappointed when you choose to work with him! Expect your wedding to be like you literally stepped into a dream!!
Our experience with Nick and Lux was incredible. We rented the perfect upholstered sofa (The Rose) to complete our wedding photo lounge and from the moment we contacted Nick with questions he was extremely responsive and professional. Although we weren't interested in an entire lounge package, he was able to recommend a rug and side table that really completed the look. Everyone at the wedding loved the photo lounge and we have hundreds of beautiful photos of our guests to help us remember the day. I was so pleased with how seamless everything was with Lux. From the initial discussions of the order and logistics, the delivery, and quality of the pieces to the pick-up and follow-up, the experience with Lux was great. I would highly recommend Nick and Lux for any event rentals. We couldn't be happier with how it all came together.
The moment I met Nick I instantly knew he was the one who was going to create the perfect setting for our special day. I have always envisioned having a rustic/romantic wedding and Nick made that dream of mine come true. The moment we met we instantly clicked. He asked me to describe in just three words what theme I wanted to go for and with only three words to describe what I wanted I felt as if he knew me from the start. He started pulling all sorts of pieces out to show me different designs and looks I wanted to go for! Talk about a pro! He was so patient, knowledgeable and honest. He always made sure to include me in every detail weather it was any new ideas or thoughts he had as well as following up with me when I wanted to change minor details. I was so fortunate to have our paths cross because if it wasn't for Nick and his creative and beautiful work my wedding wouldn't of been nearly as perfect as it was with his vision. He truly has a beautiful eye and his work shows just that. I am convinced Nick is the best wedding event designer out there and if you pass on him you're truly missing out. Any event I have in the near future I'm calling Nick. Thank you so much Nick for helping create the most beautiful setting on such a beautiful day for Kurt and I.
