This paid off in dividends, as 1) we could not meet every single vendor since we’re living in another state and 2) each and every one of these vendors were at the very top of their fields in Portland. Allison took the time to really get to know us, and when were finally met in person (months into the process) it's as if we'd been friends all along. The regular calls and meetings we had were more like playing catchup with friends, and then mixing in planning, rather than a cut and paste dry conversation around what we still needed to do. She was really what we needed, as we're both busy individuals. Our wedding day was a perfect as we drew up. We did not worry one bit, and the day flew by without us even knowing. Allison was there throughout the entire time, and made sure everything ran as smoothly. Honestly, there was nothing that we would have changed, it was amazing. You do not fully understand the production and work that goes into planning a wedding. It takes so much time and communication with the multiple (caterer, venue, florist, make-up, transportation, rental company, bakery, music, etc...) vendors you will be driven bonkers. We started with a "Enhanced Day Of" and upgraded to the "Boutique Full Service". Allison foresaw and planned for all possible scenarios including rain and it took off so much of the stress. She will listen to your vision and make it reality. You don't want just any ole planner. You want somebody that truly enjoys the art, that is cool under pressure and has a positive upbeat attitude and personality that people (other vendors) love working with. It was such a happy experience that I can't stop thinking about it! I hope to attend more Luxe weddings because they are the best. Ask for Allison. She is the best.

This, paired with the fact that I was looking for someone to understand our vision, our vibe and our budget -- I didn't have a lot of optimism that I'd find a coordination partner that could fulfill these things very quickly. In addition, I am not personally very well-versed in design or planning a wedding, and had very little interest in learning it. What we needed was a partner that would understand us quickly, and would become someone we could trust as we made decisions having to do with our big day. Luxe, and specifically Allison Hutchins, was everything we needed and more. The best thing I can say about her is that she listened to us very well, understood quickly what we were looking for, was curious and worked to seek to get to know us more along the way, and took feedback well. Very quickly she became someone we could trust and we turned to her for her balanced opinion on several big decisions. She is so accommodating, made us feel at ease, has outstanding communication, and we didn't worry once over the course of our year planning process while we were out in DC. Our wedding was an absolute show-stopper and exceeded our expectations times 10. It was a truly carefree day because I knew we were in great hands. I am sad that our wedding is over, in large part because we had a blast planning it with Allison and Luxe! This company is truly best in class.

or the Day-of coordination, which is my first regret. If budget wasn’t an issue, I would’ve hired them to do full service planning if I could. We got the pleasure of working with Allison, who ended up being a perfect match. She was very knowledgeable and was a professional throughout the process. She made sure I was on tract the entire process. I had to plan an extremely large wedding (400+) in Portland from Texas with a notoriously critical family, but she made it easy for me. She kept me on track with all of my tasks and was always available by email with any questions. Fast forward to the day of the event, Allison made sure I was completely hands off (which is hard to do since I’m kind of a control freak). She made sure that we had everything we needed at all times. She knew exactly when to pull us away from the crowds so we can just enjoy being in the moment. She made every transition go smoothly with a crazy, 400+ Asian wedding. When her time ran out, she was flexible when we asked if she could stay. We would recommend Allison to EVERYONE. Last thing about Luxe, if you are questioning whether you want the “end of the night” package, don’t even hesitate. It is your wedding day, and your family and guests are there to celebrate you, not to clean up the little details. This package was completely worth it and I’m so glad they offer something like this, which is very unique compared to the other coordination companies we talked to. express my gratitude for Brooke and the Luxe team. My wedding was absolutely PERFECT…I seriously cannot think of a single thing that I would have changed…and it is all because of them. I started searching for a wedding coordinator with my mom, who is a perfectionist and has a track record of being impossible to please. After our consultation with Brooke, my mom and I were blown away with Brooke’s attention to detail, warm (but no-nonsense!) personality, and excitement to create something magical and classic but ultimately, unique and edgy. While working with my husband to sort through all of the details, Brooke was so gracious with her time and expertise, always making it a priority to meet with us, come up with an amazing suggestion, or find the perfect vendor. My husband and I had a pretty unique vision for our wedding from a celestial theme, to some eclectic, modern choices, to some touches that were an homage to Chicago; Brooke knew EXACTLY how to execute this vision while keeping everything elegant and irreverent and NOT campy. Coming up with an amazing vision for a wedding is one thing, but coming up with a plan and executing it flawlessly is quite another! From the many personalities that come with blending families, to the seemingly endless tasks that go into the preparation for the perfect event, planning a wedding is a HUGE job, and I would not have been able to do it without Brooke. She made everything seem so easy (though, as you can imagine, it is far from it!) and took all of the stress off of me so that I could enjoy everything from the site visits to the catering tastings. Brooke was like my wedding planning fairy godmother! When the day of the actual wedding arrived, Brooke and the Luxe staff made the event picture perfect. To boot, Misty, the owner of Luxe, hand delivered lunch and snacks to the both halves of the bridal party at their respective “getting ready” locations. Brooke knew exactly what to say and do to keep me calm, allow me to be carefree and have fun, and to really enjoy and treasure each moment. The event from beginning to end was so seamless and wonderful. Brooke thought of EVERYTHING and even designed components of the wedding that gave it another special touch. The guests had THE BEST time and could not have been more complimentary of the event from every vendor to the coordination team. I could go on forever! Ultimately, Luxe is the best in the business, full stop. After the wedding, so many of my guests told my family that this was the best wedding that they had ever been to and EVERYONE was impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the coordination staff. Furthermore, my mom (the ultimately nay-sayer) was so moved by Brooke’s coordination that she couldn’t stop telling me how much she loved Brooke and that hiring Luxe was “the best decision I made!” I couldn’t agree more! I really had the most magical night of my entire life and I cannot thank Luxe enough for giving my husband and me the best gift that we could have asked for - a perfect night. t Allison. To this day, I am sure I do not know half of the things she did behind the scenes. Our experience of wedding planning was what is was supposed to be: picking out colors, venues, and vendors, and spending time laughing over planning with friends and family. It was wedding planning without all the work required that actually goes into planning like contracts, negotiations, coming up with how to place furniture etc. I say this even after adding in the factor that I lived across the country from the wedding location and 75% of my guests had to travel to the wedding. I can only imagine the frustration of planning and the conflicts that would have been created with friends and family if we did not have the guidance of a planner. The day of the wedding my mind was only in the moment. I got to concentrate on marrying the love of my life and celebrating with those I loved. I did not for one second have to worry about where someone was, where something should be, or what time it was. My best advice after the entire experience is to hire a planner, do not skip out on this. We had a wonderful experience with Allison and Luxe and felt completely supported.

( I am a bit unorganized😊) She was better than we could of dreamed of. Allison really made this a fun, easy and smooth process. During this time I had received numerous comments about how relaxed of a bride I was, how I had no worries, and how I seemed so chill. I owe that 100% to LUXE, Allsion, and CeCe. Closer to the day we were introduced to CeCe. She was going to be who was there the day of our wedding, and wow, Bless. Her. Heart. I honestly was a little unsure just because of the 8 months that we had been working with Allison and the bond and trust I had developed, but if I know one thing, its that Luxe hires amazing and talented people. CeCe was phenomenal. She was able to handle our wedding party of 15 that likes to…Celebrate, aka drink. She was patient, kind, fun, supportive and so genuinely happy for us. She lead our rehearsal and was able to come up with solutions and ideas for last minute changes. She is absolutely invaluable. She was there to make sure our day was the best day ever and she achieved that. We had her support from when we were getting ready, to making sure we were where we needed to be for pictures, to my last minute frantic phone call to walking down the aisle. I have a picture someone snapped of me right before I made that walk, and CeCe was by my side. It is one of my favorite pictures because I remember the heart filled pep talk we had, and she made it happen. It didn’t stop there, she made us plates of food to eat, guided us how to cut the cake and helped with all the day of details. After the wedding you think it would stop there, but they both messaged me, checked in and congratulated us. They also sent some pictures! Everything from my first meeting, to after the wedding was amazing. The day ran PERFECT. We could not of dreamed for anything different for our wedding and it would of happened like this without Allison, CeCe and Luxe!

My planner Brooke was a complete rock star-- she kept everything running smoothly on schedule, reminded me of all my deadlines, helped me stick to a budget (or decide when I needed to go out of budget), and calmed my nerves. Her design suggestions, tips on dress shopping, ideas about hairstyles, all of it...... so helpful! She was extremely responsive-- quick replies to every single email, text, and voice mail. Some of my vendors ended up being difficult to deal with, and she was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy to get things done! She thought of EVERY detail, including things that would never have occurred to me (who knows that nobody provides ice?!?) and guru-ed me through the wastelands of Pinterest. The Day Of was seamless and gorgeous, and all the Luxe staff were superb-- my mom raved afterwards about how busy and efficient they all were, as we just partied and enjoyed our event! Highly recommend!

She made calls to vendors, helped us organize meetings and ensured that the details were taken care of through and through (including EVERY SINGLE DETAIL ON DAY OF...it was amazing). I was nervous about everything coming together and felt many times along the way that I was missing something, or things would fall a part (hello anxiety), every time I started to go down that “rabbit hole” Allison was there for me and helped me stay focused and assured it would all come together. And honestly it did, Luxe runs a tight ship, they make sure everything is taken care of and I felt so confident in trusting them to execute our vision (The very talent Brooke even design our signage)! Every single vendor they recommended was amazing and we felt so humbled to be able to have such immense talent with us on our wedding day. Our wedding had the mid century modern and minimalist style we wanted while also feeling warm and inclusive for all of our guests. At the end of the night the team stayed to tear down everything and ensured that we were able to duck out and get some rest after a long long day. We truly felt cared for and heard throughout the entire process. Honestly, the wedding was only 24 hours ago and I couldn’t wait to get online and recommend Luxe. Though we used Luxe for more of our day-of coordination, Misty was there along the way to answer all questions, make sure we were thinking about all the details, and always responding to my texts and emails in a VERY timely fashion. That is huge! Misty spent extra time with us making sure all the details were in place. Even though talking through those little details may have caused us waves of minimal anxiety in the planning process, it was 100% worth it -- because the day of our wedding, we DID NOT WORRY ABOUT A THING. We fully trusted Misty and her team to execute a flawless vision and event. It was the best, most perfect night ever. We wouldn't have changed a thing. We owe so much of that to the Luxe team. Luxe coordinated everything related to the actual wedding day. Think load-in times, placement, set up, etc. They worked with us to manage our rentals -- we worked with four different rental companies. Misty took a very active role with our catering company to make sure they were completely aligned. The list goes on.. Some vendors think of the bride and groom as their weekend event. Luxe made us feel like the most special bride and groom in the world. We are so appreciative of that! The team is so sweet and we will forever recommend them to anyone who wants the perfect wedding.

at Union/Pine in SE Portland and from the get-go Brooke saw our vision and with her skill, contacts, and resources she helped bring it to life and it was better than we ever could have imagined. All of Brooke's recommendations were amazing and we know this because of all the compliments we received on our wedding day. Brooke is so nice and was so easy to work with, and she helped keep us on track! nator for our 40-guest wedding, because, hey, it's small. It should be easy enough to do on our own, right? Thank god we went to meet with them out of curiosity, because there is so much more to wedding planning than either of us realized. They did everything. I mean everything. Thanks to all of the wonderful, professional, amazing women at Luxe, no detail was overlooked. They put together time tables, wrangled absent vendors, connected us with vendors when we weren't sure what we wanted, and went over every single detail until everything was exactly as we had both imagined. They helped us figure out our budget and prioritize what to spend and where. They even requested a new makeup artist for me when the first one didn't work out. (I was terrified of asking for a new one and hurting the first one's feelings, and Luxe just took care of it for me.) I think one of the best parts about hiring Luxe was that our wedding day was ours. Despite a surprise snowstorm, we didn't have to worry. They figured out how to get vendors safely to the venue so everything would get there on time. We didn't even have to be at the venue until right before the ceremony. They got there around eleven a.m. (for a 4:30 ceremony) to do set-up and direct vendors. We got to hang out at our hotel with our friends and get ready and just enjoy our day. They also helped the ceremony and reception go smoothly, so my husband and I got to be present with all of the people we love, instead of delegating to vendors. They even made sure we ate and drank throughout the day. A lot of people had warned us before hand that little things would go wrong here and there, but seriously, everything went perfectly. To boot, everyone at Luxe was so easy to talk to and really cared about making our day special. I never had to hesitate if I had a question or a concern. If I ever have a big event again, they'll be the first ones I call. Also, special shoutout to Lauren for helping me battle my indecisiveness for months and to Brooke and Ally for wonderful day-of coordination. You all kick ass!

I was a little scattered with my vision and ideas for decor, after a meeting with Brooke deciding on rentals and talking through each part of the day of decor I knew she understood the vibe I wanted and took my scattered ideas and executed them perfectly. Our wedding day was executed perfectly and I could focus on enjoying the day instead of having to worry about anything else. I trusted in the team's vision to turn our outdoor ceremony into something inside our tent - and saying they delivered doesn't do enough justice to the final product. They managed the stress and chaos of a last minute change flawlessly and never once did we see them faulter under that kind of stress and chaos. The best part was that we did not see the space before walking in to the ceremony and we were absolutely blown away at their problem solving. They knocked it out of the park so much that we thought it was better than our outdoor ceremony space! The Luxe team communicated clearly and efficiently through out the whole process, even including my mother in the planning on the opposite coast. They were patient, knowledgeable, informative, and beyond professional. I was a fairly hands off bride to be and felt immense trust that Luxe would help me pull it all together and respecting what was most important to my other half and I. How Luxe took the reins and communicated with all our vendors in the days leading up to the wedding to keep everyone on the same page was an invaluable part of the process. Early on, Luxe helped us to stay focused to gather ideas, crafts, designs and plans for the wedding. They kept us on a series of deadlines to get all of our details prepared well in advance so there would be minimal stress. As the date approached, I saw that they began to reach out to our vendors asking many proactive questions and putting our minds at ease that every piece of the jigsaw would fit into place perfectly. We used a four rental companies and two caterers (meal & cake) and so there were maybe 6 vendors in all - and while it may not sound like much, when the guests make last minute plans or you decide on last minute tweaks - it really helps to have the support and guidance of pros to make all the adjustments smoothly! On the day of the wedding, they helped to orchestrate all the moving parts and managed things so that we could really enjoy ourselves. They took all of our decor and bits and turned it into something that, to us, looks like it could be a magazine cover. They translated our vision beautifully, and made it lovelier than we could ever dream. Its hard to think about before the wedding, but all those vendors/caterers are working for you and looking to follow your lead... if you don't have anyone else to help with all the details, it would be easy to find yourself managing your wedding more than enjoying the fleeting beauty of the day and the company of your new in-laws. I wanted nothing more than to be swept up in emotions of love and family - Luxe helped things to go so smoothly, they allowed me to really enjoy the day for myself. My only regret for the wedding was not opting for more services from Luxe to stay until the end of the wedding. In the end, I had to be responsible for moving/sorting rental items and dealing with a bit more than I was prepared for at the end of the night. With a nostalgic vision to ride off into the sunset of wedded bliss in your mind, you don't want to take a detour by carrying nearly a ton of log stumps up a hill in your dress pants... Luxe would have certainly been prepared for all the post-ceremony details better than I was! I couldn’t dream of taking on this kind of responsibility for such a complex event - where you get NO Do-Overs - without the help of Luxe. Big shout out to Brooke & Kali for their amazing decor/design work - amazing job all around!

With a large 275 person Vietnamese/multicultural wedding, I wanted to make sure we had a good coordinator that could help everything flow without feeling like we were herding cattle. Needless to say, our wedding felt flawless and they were able to direct everyone everywhere they were supposed to be smoothly in an efficient manner. Lauren was not only attentive to all my requests and vision but was instrumental in making recommendations that would work for us. She helped me stay within my budget (actually under budget!) and highlighted what would be necessary and what would be excess. Not only were the Luxe team efficient on our wedding day, they were so much fun and felt like they were friends rather than vendors. My sisters kept on saying how much fun Lauren and Julia were and how they wish they could stay and party with us! ithout a wedding planner, I felt calm and confident that everything was being handled thanks to Lauren. One thing that impressed us about Luxe are their wedding shows that they put on. The events were super fun and laidback. They were very helpful in finding vendors that Luxe works with and fit our style and budget. The events were also inspiring and gave us some really great ideas for our wedding. And best of all… there’s booze! Our bi-montly phone meetings with Lauren super helpful in making sure everything on our to-do list were getting checked off. Lauren is very efficient, organized and understanding. Lauren always made me feel like I am her top priority bride, even though she has many other clients. She is also flexible and willing to work with my confusing schedule for meetings and phone appointments. The day of wedding was obviously all taken care of by Lauren and her team. While we were getting ready Lauren handled all of the decorations, details, logistics and delivery that comes with coordinating the wedding day. On top of that she also handled our guests, making sure everything was where they needed to be. I don’t think I would have enjoyed being a bride if it was not for Lauren. Our guests were so impressed by the work Lauren and her team did. Everyone had a great time. Lauren was directive but not authoritative, allowing us to see our guests and enjoy our moments while keeping with the timeline and getting everything done proficiently. Overall, we have recommended all of our friends and family who are thinking about getting married to at least get a wedding planner the day of. I can't stress how wonderful it was to have Team Luxe on board for our wedding day. They took the work out of the day for our family, allowing everyone to enjoy the wedding. They coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure things were set up properly and did all of the decorating around the venue, making it look beautiful. Brooke checked in with us throughout the entire wedding day, providing updates on our timing and schedule, and making sure we were okay with how the day was going. After the wedding Brooke even sent us some videos and photos from the day to tide us by until we got our professional ones back. It was a very nice touch. eeting (one year after engagement and 8 months before the wedding) with Luxe, I could have saved so much time and energy had I just booked them to begin with! The level of support and love this team gives to their brides is astounding. I always felt such a sense of relief that they were the ones executing the vision I had for my wedding. We hadn't booked a couple vendors yet, and they gave the best recommendations. They were also there to be a thought partner, offer suggestions for decor that worked within your theme/vision, and challenge what you thought was impossible. They prove they can literally do everything. Leading up to the day, I knew I could rely on them to ensure all vendors were prepared and ready with all the information they could need. On the day of, I was super calm and could enjoy every minute. I arrived for pictures at the venue in the midst of set-up, and it was incredible to see how their team worked in perfect unison. During the wedding, my coordinator was not only managing every detail, but checked in on me regularly, brought me drinks, and obviously had everything under control. At the end of the night, they packed everything for vendors to pick up, and helped the mother of the groom pack things in her car. I cannot tell you how much of a lifesaver Luxe was before and during the wedding. I recommend them to every bride- and suggest you have them emcee (no need for a DJ!), pack up and be the last ones on site, and have at least 3 meetings with them. Before I got them, I thought I didn't need a coordinator. I realized, I'm paying all this money for a wedding- I might as well enjoy it instead of try to execute it myself. . They were on my team. I will never forget an impromptu meeting of Seppi (Powers studio), John Ross (musician) and Misty at her Committed event. They hugged each other as dear dear friends. I worked with them because of their amazing work and the respect they each expressed for each other. It was so much fun to work with visionaries who are creative, liked each other and were inspired by working at a private location that was not used for weddings. Misty also protected my vision and saw it all the way through. At a moment when I almost lost faith, she helped me recommit to my 'out of the box' idea. And I'M SO HAPPY SHE DID! Misty, Anna, and Brooke were the primary team members with whom we worked. They were flexible in meeting with us, and although we met in person relatively frequently, we communicated via email at least once (usually more) per day for the last several months of our engagement.
