My husband and I became engaged and set about trying to make plans just about the time the world went covid-crazy! It was incredibly difficult to even set the date not knowing when venues would be open, how many guests would be ‘allowed’, and so forth. Then one evening the hubs-to-be tosses out, “Let’s just do it at Lydian Stone.” Wait, what? Really? Then I gave it some thought. He loved Keith’s beer – I loved Maria’s Lemon Drop Martinis – and, well, then there was Nick’s food!! So, on our next visit to Lydian, we broached the idea with them and, just like that…#just1moretour was hatched!!
We tied the knot quietly in our home, then boarded our Party Trolley with friends and neighbors and made Lydian Stone our first (and then last, because JustOneMore) stop on our Wedding Whistle Stop Tour.
Our menu consisted of salad, assorted wraps, redneck sushi, Nick’s Famous Gourmet mac & cheese, and Maria’s lemon drop cookies. Everything was so fresh, absolutely delicious, and beautifully presented. Many of our guests had never experienced this place before and were very impressed with the quality of the food and drink. And, although the 25+ of us descended upon them like swarm of locusts, Maria and Justin ran the open bar with stunning efficiency – a well-oiled machine drawing beers, mixing cocktails, and keeping none of us waiting very long at all to have our thirst quenched!! We could not have asked for a better place to start (and finish) our little wedding tour.
If you want a comfortable, intimate setting for your event, Lydian Stone is the place. If you want the planning process to be easy like Sunday morning, Lydian Stone is the place. And, if you want the utmost in quality, attention to detail, and customer service all at a reasonable price, Lydian Stone is most definitely the place!!
