We were lucky enough to have Mads shoot our intimate elopement on Mt. Hood in the fall of 2021 and it was the most magical experience. From the moment we met Mads via Zoom (we’re from Minnesota!) we knew we made the right choice. She listened to our hopes and dreams for our elopement and found the perfect spots that made for amazing photos and the most memorable day. It was just what we wanted! Moody, dramatic, woodsy, romantic, and highlighting the beauty of Oregon. She made the entire process from the very first moment so easy, comfortable and effortless and we couldn’t recommend her more. It felt like working with an old friend and like we’d known her for years! The day of our elopement Mads was professional and warm and made everything comfortable and fun. When you’re making a huge life commitment it’s exciting and emotional and it was important that we were able to feel comfortable being vulnerable with our photographer since it would just be the *three* of us at our elopement! Mads had recommendations for everything from cozy AirBnB’s to stay that were so cute, to fantastic outdoor locations that fit our vibes, to the best bar for us to end the night with burgers and Old Fashioneds (our favorite cocktail!). Mads is THE MOST INCREDIBLE photographer EVER!! I don’t think I have words to capture how amazing her and her husband Brian are - she went above and beyond at our wedding and engagement session to give us the experience and photos of our dreams!! She has the most positive, exuberant personality that makes you feel like her best friend in a matter of minutes, which made me and my husband feel so comfortable with her right from the start. When we had our engagement photos, we left feeling like we were hanging out with a friend in the forest and were mind blown when we saw our photos - she just captured who we were so beautifully and candidly! And she just knows the PNW so well and how to best capture it. When it came to our wedding, she was SO efficient and we got pretty much all our photos done before the ceremony, so we actually got to enjoy our entire cocktail hour and reception, which I feel is rare for a wedding! And the results were ABSOLUTELY incredible. She had done so much research on our venue and even down to when the sun was setting/how the lightening would be so our shots were incredible!! The level of attention to detail, care, and expertise from the two of them is impressive. Not only were they our photographers, but helped me with fixing my makeup, fixing a broken bustle, helped guide us with signing our marriage license, and worked to make our day run smoothly. I can’t recommend her enough!!!

My partner and I loved working with Madeline and Brian during our wedding event. We requested mostly photos of our guests enjoying themselves and candid shots of them interacting and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome of our final photos. Mads is incredibly talented at her craft and brings her big heart into everything she does. We couldn’t be happier with the gorgeous photos and sweet memories of our epic trip together. She and her partner Brian took photos that feel like instant family heirlooms. We eloped in Yosemite National Park and Mads was completely onboard for our wild adventure. It’s hard to plan things ahead of time in a national park especially when things can close for construction or snow, but Mads smoothly curated our photoshoot agenda and joined our family events. She was always inclusive of everyone’s ideas and abilities, and really generous with her time. She brilliantly scouted spots once we were there across the whole park, including our ceremony location of Lower Yosemite Falls, which meant we could keep it a surprise for ourselves for the big day. We first did an engagement style shoot in a meadow next to El Capitan which felt like playing and exploring with friends, and we basically forgot the cameras were even there. On our wedding day we did a sunrise shoot capturing jaw dropping photos as Mads directed us thoughtfully so that we had fun and stayed warm despite cold temps. For our ceremony, Mads and Brian set up our crew of 14 people as an intimate huddle next to the huge waterfall which felt romantic, natural, and immensely meaningful. She swiftly directed our group formal shots and then we climbed some rocks to get even more epic photos. Mads is adventurous and thoughtful about everything, it always felt like she and Brian were cheering us on during such a big moment of our lives. Mads gave us a sneak peek set of photos on the wedding day which was such a delight to everyone. Every photo is a show stopper! We loved how they captured instant photos and gave them to us throughout the weekend. On our last day we hiked to Artist Point together for a final shoot as the sun set over the rock faces of Yosemite. I loved how everything felt like an adventurous elopement that was unique to us. Mads easily makes every moment feel special and comfortable at the same time. We had never done a professional photoshoot before the trip and we loved how effortless she makes it all feel. Beyond the amazing photos we captured, we had so much fun with Mads and Brian! Our elopement was a rush of emotions and we feel so much gratitude to Mads for helping us feel present.

Her team helped my fiancé plan, set up a whole experience for us, and captured the proposal and the sweet moments post-proposal beautifully. She adds so much to the experience, while keeping the spotlight 100% on your love, and helps everyone feel comfortable and look good in front of the camera. It felt like my fiancé and I were just together, enjoying being in love, and she happened to be there with a camera, vs the pressure of getting photos. Can’t recommend Mads enough.

Madeline and Brian are truly the BEST people to work with and the most talented photographers. My husband Abdul and I came to Madeline for an engagement shoot and instantly knew she was the perfect person to capture our wedding day. She makes you feel so comfortable and confident (which was important for my husband and I…we are NOT the greatest models!), she goes the extra mile to ensure every detail is perfect, and most importantly- she makes your special day a whole lot more fun just by being there! I cannot recommend Madeline enough. I am forever grateful to have had someone as talented as her capture the memories I will cherish for a lifetime.

Madeline was absolutely integral to making out wedding day perfect. We initially reached out to Madeline because her photos were beautiful and her artistic style matched what we envisioned, but we had no idea the value that she would bring. In our first conversation, we expressed concern that we hadn’t yet found the perfect location for an intimate ceremony. Madeline recommend a few spots, one of which turned out to be exactly what we were looking for, and we had the ceremony there a few months later. In the months leading up to the wedding, Madeline was so good about touching base with us about anything we might need. She recommend an amazing local florist, and gave a us a discounted rate on a second shooter (her now fiancé, Brian) which turned out to be the best decision. Many of our favorite moments throughout the day were captured from two perspectives, something that we hadn’t thought to ask for at the outset. Madeline coordinated with our videographer in advance, to ensure that the logistics of the day went smoothly. During the day, Madeline ensured that we didn’t have to think about anything except each other. She was prepared, focused, energetic, and kind. She captured every moment, and efficiently managed all of our requested family portraits. Thanks to Madeline’s expertise, attention to detail, and love for her work, everything went perfectly, and our wedding photos are deeply treasured.

Madeline truly deserves all 5 stars! Her and her partner Brian made our day as special as we could have asked for. We had a relatively small guest list (due to Covid and the fact that my wife's family lives in a different country), so the photography was all that more important. We wanted to ensure that all the moments of the day were captured, not only for our own future reminiscing, but also so that we could share them with those who would not be in attendance that day. Wow, did Madeline deliver! The end result was better than we could have asked for, and our venue even reached out to her to use her work as feature photos for their website and social media. Possibly more important was our experience on the actual wedding day. Madeline and Brian were fun, go with the flow, engaging, and knew how to keep the flow of the evening going through things like family photos and downtime between the ceremony and reception. We feel like we found true friends, and have tentative plans for dinner VERY soon:) (Mads - seriously, let's put something on the calendar). My husband and I were married over the summer and I could write an essay on the ways in which Madeline was such a fantastic photographer and person to work with. Like many, we had to postpone our wedding and navigate through a lot of uncertainty and change. Madeline became our ROCK throughout this process - she was our photographer but she was also the first person we called for  advice. She truly wants the best for her couples and it shows. AND Her photography is unparalleled!! We had a *dreamy* snowy engagement session on Mt Hood and a farm wedding reception on Sauvie Island. We knew she was amazing when we hired her and boy did she deliver! I am obsessed with our wedding photos. Brian was our second shooter and I am also thankful for those extra little moments he captured. Mads is the sweetest gem! My fiancé and I were visiting from out of state when he suggested we take our engagement photos during our trip. We were sooo nervous to be in front of the camera, even practiced posing the night before LOL! Prior to meeting her in-person, her communication was timely and informative, and you could hear her smiles through the screen! When we did meet her, she was the sweetest! She made us feel so comfortable, and it truly felt like we were hanging out with a friend. She guided throughout the whole thing, and it was super helpful! Not only is her personality amazing, but her gift of photography is indescribable! She is incredible at what she does and I'm so so thankful that she shared her gift with us. THANK YOU MADS!!

Madeline photographed my elopement this past summer and she was a complete dream to work with. I wanted to hire her because of her familiarity with the area where we were getting married (Mt. Hood), and because the photos I saw on her website emphasized everything I love about the PNW. She delivered on both counts for us— the photos are spectacular and exactly what I'd hoped for— but what really sealed the deal was her personality. Madeline is funny, friendly, and warm. She made us both feel really comfortable with being photographed — something both of us were pretty wary of/not exactly looking forward to. I felt like she really listened to me when we spoke on the phone and took the time to get to know us, and as a result she never asked us to do anything that would make us uncomfortable or not feel "like us". I've seen many photos that she's taken of other couples (because I love her Instagram feed) that are super different from ours in ways that, I think, show her respect for the fact that how you want your partnership portrayed in images is ultimately a really personal thing. Madeline was also super helpful in working out the timeline of the day, went with the flow when things went sideways, and could seriously have a side hustle as a pet photographer if she ever wanted to (she captured some really adorable expressions from our dog—even when he was burnt out from a long day of excitement). And the aesthetics of everything she does (not just the photos but her site, galleries, how she shares the digital files, everything) are so lovely, thoughtful, and artistic. Bottomline: We lucked out with Mads and highly recommend her!

Edit: We also just had Madeline take our wedding photos and they turned out INCREDIBLE. Her second shooter and partner in crime Brian is also amazing and was able to hang out with the guys while they were getting ready and take those photos. Madeline even helped me with a couple of hair malfunctions and picked bugs off my dress. So you can say they’re way more than just photographers - They’re incredible people! Madeline is absolutely amazing! I came across her Instagram when I was looking for a PNW photographer to do my boyfriend and my 1 year dating anniversary photos. What stood out to me about her photos was how natural all of her photos are! Some photographers seem to line everyone up, tell them to smile and snap a photo. With Madeline’s photos you feel like you’re there, in the moment with the couple. Her moody editing with “pops” of rust and rich tones is literally a PNW dream. THEN I met her in person - INSTANT warmth! She made us feel so comfortable and honestly it was such a bonding experience for my boyfriend and I because she was having us hold each other and make each other laugh naturally, so the photos didn’t look forced. Since then, we’ve gotten engaged and instantly Madeline popped into my head for our wedding photos. For my big life moments, I wouldn’t even think of having anyone else capture them! You need to experience her work! Because it IS an experience in and of itself.

Words cannot describe how in love we our with our wedding photos that Madeline took! She captured every detail of our wedding with the most beautiful photos imaginable. Taking our engagement photos with Madeline was everything I hoped it would be and more! She made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable during the engagement shoot we forgot we weren't just hanging out at times! Hiring Mads was the best and first decision we made for our wedding. She instantly feels like a friend and I love that she is also is down to help with some of the planning stuff - whether that’s suggesting spots, airbnbs, etc. She even made the possibility of getting film happen which I was not expecting would be possible! And day of - she truly just felt like one of our guests because her and Brian were such a joy to be around! Im also so picky when it comes to photos of myself and she managed to make me feel so beautiful and really captured our energy that day. I’ll start off with saying Madeline is the best. PERIOD! We were traveling to Oregon for a family trip, and decided we wanted to fly out a few days early to have a small vacation just my husband and I because we didn’t get to have a honeymoon or big wedding because of COVID. I found Madeline on instagram and new immediately her style was what I was picturing for a cute photoshoot with me and my hubby, and BOY DID SHE DELIVER!!! Mads is THE photographer you want on your wedding day for so many reasons. First of all, Mads has the energy and positivity you want around you at all times. Second, she has wonderful time management and timeline skills to keep you organized leading up to your wedding and day of. Third, her photograph is so lovely, moody, and authentic. I found Madeleine through social media and once I saw her page, I really didn't look for any other wedding photographer. While we got acquainted over the phone she said "So your vision is to bring the forest indoors for your wedding" YES. I barely had to explain it. Our wedding isn't until Jan 2022, but our engagement photos were a month or so ago and could not have turned out better. A romantic, moody but fun vibe that she perfectly captured at Oregon Coast, and went so far as to take a 4 mile hike with us and spend a little extra time to get the location we wanted. She was amazing at capturing our bernadoodle pup for photos too. Madeline is the person you want behind the camera for that true "Oregonian/PNW vibe" with an awesome personality to boot.

My husband and I met Madeline two years ago at a brewery on the Oregon Coast and instantly hit it off. Since then I’ve been a fan of her work and I was so excited when she said yes to shooting our Maternity Photos! We are so pleased with the experience and the photos are INCREDIBLE. We love her style of photography. We are not the most comfortable in front of the camera but she manages to make the experience relaxed and fun and to make us look like naturals. She most recently captured beautiful photos of our 3 month old who easily goes from happy to fussy within seconds. Mads is great with kids. I'm not even sure I have the words to describe how amazingly talented and wonderful Mads is, both as a photographer and as a human. I've been lucky enough to know Mads for the last few years and I was dead-set on having her photograph our wedding from the moment we got engaged. She was my non-negotiable! Despite our wedding date, venue, and state changing multiple times, Mads was flexible, responsive, and so positive. I knew that as long as she was there, everything would be perfect and boy was I right! Mads fills any room with positivity, energy, and love and makes you feel like the most beautiful person in the world. This may sound dramatic but it's so true! From the minute she arrived at the bridal suite it was clear she would run the show from there on out. She was organized, fun, and felt like part of my family. She had me and my husband laughing all day and we felt so incredibly comfortable during what could have been an awkward few hours. It has been over a month since we got married and I still have friends and family talking about how much they loved her. You have to be a special person to make such an impact on so many people during a short period of time, but that's what Mads is. So so special and so talented. I've looked at our photos thousands of times and I love thinking of all the silly moments that took place while that photo was taken. Mads is a dream to work with. My husband and I are not much for photos and we let Mads know that from the get go letting her know we would need a lot of direction and we got just that! Mads brought an incredible fun energy to our wedding and was so great at communicating. We had a very fast paced day with little time to get all of the shots I wanted and we only missed a few- thats hard work! We can't thank Mads enough for such beautiful photos and she got them to us so quickly-- she even texted me a few specific photos I asked for early so I could do a special something for my new husband as a valentines surprise- so above and beyond incredible! I'd like to rate zero stars. I just want to warn any couple thinking of using Madeline. She got our deposit, and met us for a very short engagement photo session. We had maybe three good options out of all of them to use for our invitations. She was hard to contact, her phone was always out of service. When my life fell apart three months before the wedding, she refused to return any of the deposit. So she made $600 an hour at our two hour (if that) photo session, gave us three useable shots and then kept all of the deposit. Her lack of empathy when my wedding was cancelled was heartbreaking. This was all before the COVID 19 outbreak. Just be warned, if you're not super model beautiful, she won't use any of your pictures on her social media. I guess we weren't pretty enough.

No words will ever show how much my family and I love this woman! :) Mads was the absolute best photographer. I live in Texas and was planning my wedding in Boston. Mads made the entire booking process SO easy and even face-timed me to to meet (So sweet!). She even gave us an extra hour of shooting since I had a Texas engagement photographer (by the way we ended up having her there ALL night and added extra hours because she is amazing). She made me feel SO beautiful and SO comfortable all day - she got along with the entire wedding party - joking, laughing, and just having a great time - you can see it in the pictures how much fun we were having. My family and friends LOVED her and we were happy she stayed for the party which she captured effortlessly - jumping right in on the dance floor and connecting with all my guests. She captured ALL the details I asked her to so beautifully and then some + an awesome sparkler exit I insisted on - she rallied the troops and made it happen! On the flight to our honeymoon 2 days later we had a full preview (I cried) and shortly after our full album - such a quick turn around. Her tones and pictures are perfect - she truly captured the rustic elegance vibe of the entire day/wedding. Make sure you do a champagne spray with your girls (my favorite) and first look with your man - she will capture it beautifully! :) HIGHLY recommend if you can snag her!!

Simply the best! My wife and I were married on the hottest day of the year (actual record- breaking temps), but this did not stop us from having the most amazing day of our lives. Madeline Rose, aka Mads was simply the best photographer we could ever ask for. It has been 7 months since our wedding and we are still raving about the photography experience. Even our guests are constantly mentioning how awesome she was! Mads took complete control from start to finish, to make sure that the only thing we had to worry about was having fun. Where do I begin? Madeline Rose, lovingly known as "Mads", is so much more than a wedding photographer. Mads came into our lives to capture our story, and truly became our friend. She makes the process effortless, and FUN. I've never met a more exuberant, energetic, and warm person, and the qualities that make her unique are the reason you need her for your day. She will hold your hand, wipe your tears, listen to your vision, wear your veil, organize your crazy family, bask in your love, and when you see yourself and your love through her lens...it is a breathless moment. We loved her taste in music, her stylistic earthy tones, and her easy going personality...so much so that Mads stayed with us after our engagement shoot! We loved every single one of our engagement & wedding photos. Mads captured the day perfectly and it is so fun to relive these memories. I don't think I'm very photogenic, so the idea of a photoshoot focused on me gave me a lot of anxiety - but Mads made all of that disappear. Her main focus was for us to forget the camera and enjoy our engagement shoot and she was super successful. We absolutely love every photo she shared with us (and there were way more than we expected) and we're so happy to have found time with her before she moves to the West Coast.

From the start of finding Mads until the very end of our wedding, our family and friends had nothing but praise of her artwork and personality. After we Facetimed with Mads before officially booking with her, my parents could tell in our tone of voice how impressed we were, and pretty much said no matter the cost we HAD to choose her to capture our special day. Let me tell you- the investment was and is WELL worth every penny. First, we had received comments of our engagement photos such as, “these are THE BEST engagements photos I have EVER seen!”. Then on our wedding day with the help of a second shooter Ali, every guest was extremely impressed with the dedication to capturing every special, hilarious and romantic moment. SHE’S ACTUAL MAGIC! First of all her photography speaks for itself, she’s a true artist and her warm, beautifully composed photos express joy, excitement, humor, and most of all love. She somehow managed to capture the intangible things that make a wedding day so special, the love from all corners that permeates the air, the rosy glow of friendship trust and adventure. She made these things real, tangible, and ours to hold on to forever. When I look through my wedding photos she sent to us (in record time I might add) not only am I struck by just how darn good she made all of us look, but I’m transported back to the wonder of that day. Seeing my mother watch us read our vows, seeing a perfectly timed shot of a sideways glance at my new husband as I’m smiling from ear to ear, seeing our families raise a glass and toast to our future. The value of having these images is indescribable. Beyond the photos she provides Mads is also a true joy to be around. My biggest piece of advice to couple planning their wedding is to make sure all of your vendors are not only good at what they do but they have an energy you want around you on your big day. Mads is an absolute light, there’s no other way to describe it. She is genuinely kind, funny, easygoing and at the same totally capable of taking charge when schedules shift or the unexpected happens. She is easy to trust and will make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I can’t say enough about her. I had never met her before we sought her out as our photographer, but by the wedding day both my husband and I felt she was another friend we were so happy to share our day with. She gave us such a beautiful gift though her photography and I can’t thank her enough. If you’re lucky enough to have an opportunity to work with her, take it. I don't even know where to start when it comes to how incredible Madeline is. I knew as soon as we got engaged that I wanted her to shoot my wedding and she was the very first vendor I booked. She is so incredibly talented; I am incredibly uncomfortable in front of the camera, and she makes you feel like there's not even a camera there. She does an amazing mix of giving you clear direction, but also just capturing the blissful, natural moments that pop up. After just a few minutes into our engagement session, I knew we were going to get back at least a few amazing shots. But then when the gallery came back it wasn't just *a few* great shots...it was literally hundreds of amazing photos. I don't think of either of us as particularly photogenic people, but we got so many great photos from her that we had trouble picking our favorites. Flash forward to the wedding day and she was even more amazing. Her and Ali kept everything calm, cool, and on schedule. They chased away rando's from our ceremony space and kept overanxious family from swarming us during photos. The speed and efficiency with which they worked through our formal family photos to get us to cocktail hour on time was CLUTCH. We both have huge families and so many of my family members told me how great it was to not have to wait around for hours for photos. We woke up the next morning to a text with two incredible preview photos from Mads--we were literally screaming at how amazing they were. I cannot wait to see the full gallery! Madeline is such a joy to work with. She wants to make sure your photos are personal, and is very responsive to emails. She is a true professional. She helped me take countless family photos at my 300+ person wedding and sent us the most BEAUTIFUL sneak peeks in record time. On this special day in your life, my best advice is to hire the best photographer you can possibly afford, and Madeline is truly it. She did a great job making young kids smile, and the results are wonderful. Every single person who attended the wedding commented about how professional she and the second shooter were. We could not recommend Mads’ amazing wedding photography skills highly enough - every interaction with her, from the first introductory phone call to saying goodnight at the end of our wedding was truly lovely. She is so easy to connect with, so on top of her shit, and an extraordinarily talented photographer as anyone who has checked out her Instagram can attest. We had an awesome engagement session with her, where she was 100 percent game for kayaking(!) while photographing us. As we got closer to the wedding, she was such a reassuring presence, un-phased by any non-traditional choice (or even encouraging of it!) and calming about any anticipated family/friend drama. Our wedding day was so perfect, and it was in large part thanks to Mads! She made us feel like everything was under control all the way through - she even gave my dad great toast-giving advice, which he took! Friends and family at the wedding - and since - have told us how much they loved interacting with her. Also, she brought along her second shooter Ali who was a JOY as well. Now having seen our “sneak peeks” - Mads truly captured the essence of the day and the true nature of our relationship. We didn’t have to do any awkward “romantic” poses together, we were just able to genuinely be ourselves and that is what is captured in her photos. I’m so grateful that we chose her to be our photographer!

Madeline is one of the most endearing individuals I've had the pleasure of meeting. My fiancé, Hannah, spent months talking to and getting to know Madeline before we actually got to meet her in person. She shot a mutual friend's engagement and we knew from the moment we saw their photographs that Madeline would be the one to do our engagement shoot. Meeting Madeline in person immediately put my mind at ease. She exudes positivity and her friendliness made working with her a true delight. Her professionalism and eye for beauty are what set her apart from other photographers we've looked at. When going through her images online, I could tell that the couples she shot truly enjoyed the encounter, and being able to experience that for myself was a pleasure. I first contacted Madeline in August 2018 after a friend posted her engagement photos on Instagram. I was instantly in love with Madeline's style, the raw emotion she was able to effortlessly capture, and the resounding warmth I felt looking at her images. I was so much in love that I immediately messaged her (before I was even engaged!). Right off the bat, I knew she was the one for us. She was so professional, friendly, personable that I knew once I was engaged she would be our girl for every photographic need going forward. In November I got engaged to my amazing fiance, and over the course of the next 6 months, me and Mads became great friends while planning the shoot and sharing our interests in photography, small business ownership, and Parks and Rec. When we finally met it felt like we were long lost friends, I almost cried! We had been waiting for almost an entire year for her to photograph us, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait! Mads stayed with us in our small apartment and over the course of three days did four separate photo shoots with us and our sweet little pooch (two of the shoots were unplanned, but she insisted!). Every second felt like we were spending time with an old friend. I've never felt more comfortable, sexy, and fun with someone before, especially in front of a camera. The final images were so gorgeous I didn't stop looking at my gallery for weeks, it was like a dream come true that we finally had our own Madeline Rose images. I can't wait to work with her again for our wedding and everything after. I literally could not recommend her services more. When I eventually got engaged, she was the first vendor I contacted—even before we had settled on a venue, I NEEDED to know her availability. We found a date that worked, and we booked her! We did an engagement shoot in Boston that was GLORIOUS, and even though we were only supposed to have 2 hours or so with her, we ended up taking photos in 3 different locations and just wandering around the city together (she definitely spent extra time with us and did not make us feel rushed in capturing photos in all the locations). She’s gifted at making everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and that shows in her photos. For our actual wedding: thankfully at the time (pre-COVID), she was willing to travel to Baltimore, where our wedding would be in May 2020. Fast forward a bit and unfortunately COVID hits, and Madeline, who had moved to OR, could not fly in. We decided to still do a “microwedding” on our original wedding date, and although she couldn’t make it, she still sent me recommendations of other local photographers (and her recommendation was fabulous). In the meantime, we rescheduled our “big wedding celebration” 5 more times, and Madeline was willing to keep pushing our date back (because our venue wouldn’t reopen…again and again). She also never increased her original price for us, which was SO appreciated (because most vendors have increased prices due to inflation and such, and her travel expenses would certainly cost more coming from OR). It ended up being a full 2 years later, but we finally switched venues and got a date that worked, and she flew all the way from OR to Baltimore to photograph our wedding. As an added bonus, she brought her fiance, another talented photographer Brian Brose, as her second shooter, so we were so lucky to have such a dream team. (He was just as wonderful as Madeline, and the two of them worked so nicely together–a dream team both personally and professionally!). Leading up to the wedding date, she was super easy to work with and schedule Zoom meetings with to discuss timelines. She provided great recommendations and really just made me feel confident that everything (and more) would be captured perfectly. She also collaborated really well with our videographers, who she didn’t meet until the day of; they all worked in tandem and were respectful of each other and understood everyone’s needs and spacing and such. It was so lovely to see the professionalism and talent at work! She was also so on top of things regarding timing, which, as an OCD planner, I could not be more thankful for. We had a relatively tight timeline due to strict venue rules and a lot of hair/makeup to get through at the hotel and multiple photo locations, but she and Brian somehow managed to keep us on schedule (which so many people had warned me simply wouldn’t happen) before the wedding AND during the wedding itself. I came across Madeline on Instagram (oh, the beauty of social media!), before honeymooning in Oregon, and instantly fell in love with her photography. Her moody style is full of life and emotion - similar to her! We met her at the Columbia River Gorge outside of Portland, and instantly she made my husband and I so comfortable, and we felt like we were just hiking with a friend. She made us feel like ourselves, and our photos exude us as a couple, not awkward poses or things we wouldn’t do in our everyday lives. I am so thankful for crazy little Instagram leading me to Madeline, because now we have photos to remember one of our favorite memories. If you’re looking for someone who’s going to capture you as a couple, she is 110% your gal...and she’s hilarious and fun to be around (always a plus!).

We met Maddie at the Oregon Coast and from the moment we stepped out of the car and were welcomed with a huge, warm smile and hug, we instantly connected with her. Throughout the shoot we felt so comfortable, laughed so much our cheeks hurt, took time to share stories as a couple, popped champagne with Mads on the beach, and time seemed to pass so quickly because of how much fun we were having! We received sneak peaks that same night and were BLOWN AWAY by how beautiful and perfect they were! When we received the full gallery a week or two later, Kelsey and I were both in tears at how effortlessly (to us) she captured our love. We are still obsessing over them many months later, and we know that we will continue to feel this way about the photos, and Maddie, for years to come! She became a friend to us that day and we are so thankful for everything she has done for us and for who she is! You will LOVE every moment with her. Her energy is contagious and she will make you both feel so comfortable, happy, and perfect just as you are.

Madeline is magic. If she’s available for your wedding, book her immediately. My fiancé and I camera shy, manage to be even less photogenic together, and insisted on including our nervous wreck of a dog in our engagement photos. My jaw dropped when I opened the link to our album. Every picture captures our love, our personalities, our silliness… and they’re absolutely beautiful. We can’t stop looking at them. Along with receiving incredible photos, we had a blast during the shoot. Mads is down to earth, funny, creative, and full of joy and she brought out all of those qualities in us, too. Honestly, if you're looking at any photographer other than Mads, you are doing it wrong. Not only is she a consummate professional that will take charge, ensure a smooth event, and provide you with the highest quality results, she's a great all-around person. She made herself available at any time prior to assist with decorations, food, colors, or anything we needed advice on. Mads was amazing to work with and I would recommend her to anyone! By some miracle, she was available to shoot our last minute City Hall elopement on a Monday in December. I called her just a few days before the wedding and by the time Monday rolled around, I felt like we’d known each other for a long time. After the ceremony she walked and guided us throughout the city to help us get the most beautiful photos, while making the journey SO MUCH FUN with causal conversation and just the simple joy in being there. We were never pressured or pushed to do anything we weren't comfortable with, she simply guided us a bit here and there while allowing us to be the most natural version of ourselves. Mads has a way of making sure that the personality of you and your new spouse shine through every pose and that your relationship is featured in every photo. After the big day, we had both our sneak peeks and full gallery delivered earlier than expected filled with photos that are beyond breathtaking in every way. There are so many genuinely beautiful photos that we will never even be able to use them all! I am still in love with her woodsy and moody Pacific Northwest inspired style, it's exactly what we wanted out of our gallery. As someone who has experience in working with some extremely talented and experienced wedding industry professionals, I can honestly say that Mads is more than you could ever ask for in a wedding photographer. If you want someone who will embrace and support you at every turn, you simply can't go wrong with Madeline Rose Photography. I only wish I could keep her from moving to Oregon so I could keep her all to myself! :)
