Madison Floral was the second vendor we booked for our wedding (after the venue, of course!), and we could not be more pleased! We got married at The Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston. Madison Floral was on the preferred vendor list, and deservedly so! Edison was a dream to work with and his expertise is not limited to flowers; he provided very helpful information about all aspects of the wedding planning process! After the first call with Edison (which was approximately 45 minutes), we knew he was the florist for us! Next, we met with him in person (for approximately an hour and a half), and we were blown away! There was no need to meet with any other florists. Edison listened to what we wanted, and went above and beyond! On the day of the wedding, the Madison Floral team delivered the flowers promptly and were incredibly professional. The bouquets, corsages, boutonnières and arrangements were absolutely stunning, and we received so many compliments! They were perfect for our venue, and we would give Madison Floral more than 5 stars if we could!

I had an excellent experience working with Edison and his team! I live in Chicago so planning our Boston wedding wasn’t always the easiest from afar, but Edison really helped alleviate that. He was so receptive to the vision of the greenery bouquets I wanted that I didn’t feel the need to fly to Boston to review everything. I put my complete faith in him and the bouquets were perfect!

We had an excellent experience with Madison Floral. Edison was responsive and thoroughly engaged throughout the whole planning process, following our vision but giving us clear and prescriptive guidance when we needed it. He knew our venue inside and out and was able to transform an industrial space into a warm and beautiful setting for our ceremony, as well as provide our somewhat sterile reception space with a classy, festive, party atmosphere. He was accommodating to all of our needs, and we knew we could trust him, completely hands off, to ensure everything went according to plan on our wedding day. These guys have a fantastic eye for design, they know their stuff, and they are a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend them enough.

I worked with Edison and Liz from Madison Floral and they were both exceptional to work with. Luckily my husband agreed to come with me on our first consultation as I liked to include him on contract negotiations. Edison and Liz graciously worked within our budget to give us floral arrangements of our dreams (well my dreams, I'm not sure if my husband actually had floral dreams)! Not only did they work within our budget they listened to my vision. I did not have a super defined vision but I did know what colors and types of flowers I wanted. My wedding was in the summer so there was specific flowers that Edison suggested would be the best type. We went through all the details of the wedding such as colors, decor, wedding party attire, my wedding dress, even what type of earrings I would be wearing! They made me feel very comfortable with the entire experience and a trust was quickly formed. I wanted to work with vendors that would take my thoughts and vision and then run with it - I really did not want to tell them what to do as they are the experts in the space. After a consultation then a run through about 2 weeks before, I was ready to see it all come to life. As soon as I saw what they had done for the ceremony that was waterfront as well as within the reception that was in a tent, I knew we had chosen the right florist! From the center pieces to the flowers draped along our cupcake tower, there was not a detail left untouched. Thank you Madison Floral for really being there for my husband and I - if we ever get the opportunity to hire a florist again, I know who we'd go with. I'll leave you all with this, after our wedding I received an email from Liz letting us know she had seen a sneak peak and that she was so excited for us - that extra note was just another token of the unique partnership that was formed while working with her and Edison. From the interactive process, to the flower pieces, the arrangements, and the final outcome...everything was all we could ask for in working with their team to support our vision. From the moment we stepped into the venue, it was their flowers that gave us a sense of peace and support. If all else failed that night, at least our flowers were beautiful, lol! It was really the flowers that made the venue as spectacular as it was! Edison has a true gift of actively listening to his clients, capturing their vision, and bringing it to life. Edison and Liz created breathtaking floral arrangements for our wedding. Neither my fiancee nor I were flower experts, but Edison helped us through the entire process. We discussed other arrangements we liked, and they created something new and unique for our wedding that was still within our budget. They helped us think of every detail we might want to decorate, which is great when you've never planned a wedding before. On the day of they delivered to two different locations on time and through the entire process they were unbelievably friendly. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Madison Floral anyone looking for a floral vendor.

Madison Floral is truly exceptional. We looked at several florists before deciding to go with Edison and Liz at Madison Floral, and we are really happy that we did. Both of us have hobby interests in gardening and flowers, so it was important to us that our flowers looked great at the wedding. Edison met with the two of us and our families for a consultation, even before we had paid any sort of deposit or signed any contracts. He was wonderfully frank about what he thought would work best for our venue, and he even encouraged us to forego certain designs that would not work well with the space. He was good at setting expectations with both our budget and with what flowers would be in season (and therefore would look best). Edison and Liz were very responsive and accommodating, particularly when we wanted certain hues to be part of the flowers at the wedding. A sample of the table arrangement was brought to our tasting at the venue, which was a great way for us to see how everything would look together. We made a few changes to our flowers after seeing the sample, but Liz and Edison were great with this entire process. The flowers themselves were captivating at the wedding, and we got lots of high compliments for them. Liz and Edison’s attention to detail was easily seen in all of the details that our guests and wedding party appreciated. The bridal bouquet looked (and smelled) amazing, with all of the colors and flowers that we were hoping for. They definitely use more expensive flowers and forego cheaper-looking imitations or fillers. We really loved the fact that the boutonnieres came with both magnets and pins, to make for easy placement. Overall, we are so happy that we chose Liz and Edison at Madison Floral. Their work is amazing, and we will definitely recommend them to our friends.

First of all, Edison seems to know everything about weddings, so not only did he execute exactly what we were hoping for with our flowers and decor, he gave us tips throughout the process on all things wedding-related. We didn't work with a wedding planner, so working with a florist who is so knowledgeable and professional was so appreciated. Besides being amazing at his job, Edison is so kind and funny, which makes the whole process that much more fun. I didn't have exact flowers in mind - just a color scheme and a vibe I was going for. Edison exactly interpreted what I wanted and created something that was better than anything I could have imagined. Our experience with Madison Floral from start to finish was exceptional! Madison Floral was absolutely amazing to work with. I didn't have a ton of ideas of what exactly I wanted for my flowers and Edison was fantastic in helping me narrow down ideas and even providing insights of what would look best in the room for our reception and ceremony. Edison and Jessica from Madison Floral did an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding. From day one Edison was extremely responsive and helped me with the vision while also respecting our budget. He thought outside of the box and really helped with the design of the whole wedding and not just the flowers. Many other florists wanted a directive for “just the flowers” from me but Edison and team really worked with us to create a beautiful day. He also knew the space (The State Room) very well and offered advice, like don’t do too many tall arrangements because people won’t see them in the back of the room. I appreciated this and really felt like Edison was not just selling us a service but helping with our day. We would highly recommend!!!

Edison at Madison Floral was absolutely wonderful. Edison and his team did an amazing job on our flowers for our wedding. He was responsive and listened to us through out the whole planning process. He never rushed us and he had a great vision and many ideas on how to create what we wanted. He helped our floral vision come alive! Madison floral is the best team I could have asked for on my wedding day. Edison was very transparent about what I could get with my budget and was able to help me understand exactly where I could get the most drama from my floral arrangements. Edison and Marla are very nice and friendly people who really know their business. I met with Edison for an initial meeting about 3 months before my wedding and we ended up chatting for almost 4 hours. I wasn't sure what kind of flowers I wanted so I only told him what colors I wanted to see and what size the centerpieces should be. They took care of everything else! The flowers I ended up with were just beautiful! My bouquet was a combination of white and pink with some blue accents. It was simple and gorgeous! More than one guest approached me just to say how great the flowers looked. Thanks Edison and Marla!

Phenomenal, beautiful, gorgeous. Loved working with Edison and his team. I used him for my wedding because he had done the flowers for a friend of mine when she got married and I remembered how much I loved them. Edison gave me exactly what I wanted and made sure everything was perfect before we paid our final amount. He was also not afraid to tell me if something wouldn't work, which I appreciated. He did not disappoint on my big day. The centerpieces came out exactly as I'd hoped and the flowers for me and my girls were perfect. Even the flower girls headpieces and bouquets were perfect and looked adorable. Definitely use Madison for your wedding, they are awesome.

Madison Floral was very attentive and listened to exactly what I wanted. At our first floral meeting, they gave insight and ideas that I hadn't even thought of yet. Didn't miss a beat the week of our wedding and delivered everything on time!

We were recommended Madison Floral by our event planner at the Taj. We had a few meetings with Edison and his team, and came up with a good plan for the wedding flowers. He was easy to work with and a pleasure to be around. I sent a bunch of pictures to staff members and we agreed on the theme and type. The flowers for the reception were gorgeous as were the flowers for the church. They were exactly the right color, texture and feel for the vision that we'd created. My bouquet on the other hand was really small and not what I was hoping for at all. I was so disappointed to have to carry something like this down the aisle- it was about 6-7 inches in diameter and looked more like a bouquet for a junior bridesmaid- not the bride. When I picked up the flowers out of the water, two of the roses fell apart and the petals hit the floor. I alerted Edison right away- but as you can imagine by this points its much too late to make any major changes. The boutinnieres for the groom and groomsman were also miniscule- these tiny little tea roses that looked ridiculous on grown men. Whilst I was VERY pleased with the customer service throughout the process and the reception flowers were stunning, I was really disappointed with the flowers I was supposed to carry down the aisle. Even after 6 weeks, I still think about what a bummer it was to see that bouquet.

Edison and his team did the most amazing job for our wedding. The floral was the one item I had a very specific vision on and Edison perfected it! He created the exact atmosphere I was looking for and also managed to make it work perfectly with our venue (I wanted a soft romantic feel in a very modern space). Edison took what I had been dreaming up for over a year and made it into a reality - he truly is an pro at what he does. I would highly recommend Edison and if you get a chance to work with him know that you are in great hands!! His patience, attention to detail, and ability to execute your vision separate him from the bunch!

Edison and his team were a dream come true on our August 6, 2016 wedding! He not only understood our vision after just a few questions, he took it to a whole new level. It was so comfortable working with him. He was very honest about cost which made everything that much easier. We went to multiple florists before him, and he was the first one who seemed to just LOVE what he did and be just as excited about planning this wedding as we were. He went with us to pick out linens, and gave us feedback and ideas for so many details in our wedding. He also is the only florist I found, that brought our centerpiece to the rehearsal dinner, along with all our linens, to ensure that we would have no surprises the day of and that we loved the way it looked. He is the definition of going above and beyond. I cannot say enough about what a perfect decision this was! You cannot go wrong with Madison Floral.

I can't thank Edison and the entire Madison Floral team enough for their absolute brilliance in designing and executing all of the florals for our Labor Day wedding. It was clear from the very first meeting that Edison knows what he's talking about and how things should be designed for any given space. He created a vision board for the florals after our first meeting and continued to iterate based on our feedback. Edison also sent one a large centerpiece to our reception site for our menu tasting so that we could see how it would look with the rest of the table setting. He worked wonderfully with all of our vendors and was very familiar with the venues for both the ceremony and reception, which helped make everything come to life. If I could give Madison Floral 100 stars I would. Edison and his team are more than just florists. They helped us create an entire vision for our wedding day, thinking of every detail - not just the flowers. We discussed color scheme, the linens, and more as he helped guide me to creating a picture perfect day! Each time we met with Edison, he gave us over an hour of his time and let me ask wedding questions that had nothing to do with my arrangements. They are also extremely honest- we were ready to rent an aisle runner from them and Edison told us not too as our ceremony location was windy and it would blow. He said the same for aisle petals and large ceremony pieces. We also considered doing some arrangements for the bathrooms and again, he told us he thought it was a waste of our money - What vendor does that when you are willing to give them more money?! A couple weeks leading up to the wedding, they prepared the most exquisite sample of our center piece for us to take home. The arrangements the day of the wedding were even more beautiful if that is at all possible. We even had the team surprise us with a special design for our escort table and it was to die for. In addition, my bouquet and the bridesmaids’ bouquets were much larger than we had anticipated. I can't say enough great things about Madison Floral and Edison. If you use them, you will not be disappointed!

Edison, Marla, and the Madison Floral team were fantastic to work with! They provided the floral arrangements for our wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza on April 30, 2016, and we could not be happier with our experience. Edison impressed us from Day 1 with his deep knowledge and expertise both of the industry and specifically of our venue. He had done countless weddings at the Fairmont over the years, which gave me great confidence that the flowers on the day of our wedding would be beautiful, and the logistics of the day would be seamless. Perhaps most importantly for us, Madison Floral was willing to work with our budget and provide arrangements that struck the perfect balance between elegance and affordability. We would highly recommend this top-notch team of florists!

We learned about Madison Floral through the preferred vendor list from our venue. After looking at their website and learning that they did their own chuppahs (a big priority for me), I was sold. My intuition was confirmed when we met with Edison at their studio. He spent over an hour going over every little wedding details. He managed to figure out what I wanted when all I could articulate was "pinks and creams and pretty". My now-husband even got excited about the flowers after looking at the photos in Edison's office, particularly a submerged orchid centerpiece. We left the meeting feeling comfortable that we would have beautiful flowers within our budget Fast forward to the month of the wedding, I spent another 30-45 minutes on the phone going over the details with Marla. They coordinated with the venue for delivery, setup and tear down I was so happy with the flowers on our wedding day. The chuppah was simple and classic. The bouquets were perfect. And those centerpieces! They were even better than the pictures Cannot recommend Edison, Marla and the rest of the team at Madison Floral highly enough.

Madison Floral was a preferred vendor of our wedding venue, the Omni Parker House, and I now see why! Working with Edison at Madison was such a breeze. We met with Edison at his studio to discuss our vision for the flowers, and he had wonderful suggestions due to his intimate knowledge of the venue and its decor. After meeting with Edison once, we only exchanged a few brief emails up until the wedding as he fully understood our vision and executed it flawlessly. The centerpieces he created for our ballroom reception were breathtaking and absolutely massive. The smaller arrangements for the high tables at cocktail hour were equally beautiful, in trendy square mercury glass vases. He used a variety of flowers and colors in each arrangement for depth and texture, and everything just looked amazing. I would absolutely book Madison Floral again and again.

Madison Floral was unbelievable to work with from start to finish! I had already met with 1-2 florists before meeting with Edison, and within minutes of sitting down with him I could 100% see the difference between Madison Floral and other florists. Edison knew our venue like the back of his hand and could tell us exactly what arrangements would work, and the quantity that we would need in different spaces. We also got to work with his wife/partner, Marla, towards the end at finalizing all of our details and she was fantastic too!! And on the day of the wedding while I was getting ready with my bridesmaids..I popped into the ceremony space and just saw it being complete transformed by the Madison Floral team. They were so wonderful to work and if I ever need another event florist they are the only ones I would call!

We cannot say enough about the talents of Madison Floral. They truly delivered a masterpiece that made our wedding day so special. All that we had provided them was three pictures of arrangements to show the color scheme we liked as well providing a basis for a style of arrangement. Other than that, we let the masters of their craft go to work. Resisting the urge to prescribe desired arrangements was one of the best things we have ever done. Not only did it allow us to concentrate on other areas of planning, but in the end we likely would have not gotten the perfect arrangements for our wedding. What also particularly drew us to Madison Floral was their experience working with our unique venue (Museum of Science) which has a particular set of rules, as well as its own quirks for decorating. All our flowers were delivered exactly when they needed to be to the right locations, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Madison Floral are truly outstanding professionals that we were thankful to have had as part of our wedding. (There was apparently a competition to take the centerpieces home at many tables, in fact, we didn't even get one of them as the bride and groom!!!) Working with Madison Floral is one of the best decisions you could make as you plan your big day. We truly didn't have to worry about a single thing...

Edison, Marla and Carlos perfected my wedding. I had the most wedding beautiful flowers and decor I have ever seen. Edison sat with my mom and I for as long as we needed and listened to us to go all of our likes and dislikes. He didn't bat an eye. Marla was wonderful on the phone and even with last minute changes she was accomodating. We had a winter wedding and the color scheme of the flowers tied in with our decor beautifully. The flowers for our wedding were beautiful. The staff at Madison Floral were very helpful every step of the way. They took the time to really talk to me about my vision for the flowers. They were also very helpful in guiding me on staying in my budget, they never made me feel pressured to spend more or do anything I didn't want to. Of note, the day of the wedding the flowers were not exactly as I had pictured. The people who delivered the flowers developed a plan and altered every single arrangement (all of the bouquets and the centerpieces) to make them perfect. Their responsiveness and willingness to make last minute (and labor intensive) changes was very impressive. I highly recommend working with them!

We hired Madison Floral for our wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Boston and they did a tremendous job! We couldn't have been happier with the job they did with the flower pieces for the wedding parties, the ceremony and the reception. I had the most wonderful experience with Madison Floral. I love beautiful flowers, but don't know much about them (i.e. what flowers are what, and what's in season when). My mother and I met with Edison to explain my overall vision for the day--really without any specifics as to what flower(s) I wanted for my day. I hadn't even narrowed it down to a specific color scheme--I had a few different color ideas. Edison picked up on the feel I was going for immediately, and made suggestions (including helping to narrow down the color!) that translated BEAUTIFULLY. He was very thoughtful in terms of considering what was in season vs. not to keep an eye on costs without me having to ask. Edison, Marla, and team stayed in touch throughout the planning process, and were sure to confirm every detail with both myself and the venue. Everything was delivered on time and in beautiful condition, and there was absolutely no worry on the day of my wedding. We got so many compliments on the stunning bouquets and centerpieces (Edison had even suggested to spray paint the vases gold to match my color scheme which was SO beautiful!), and every centerpiece was gone at the end of the night--to the point where we asked Edison to make us a couple new vases so we had a keepsake for ourselves! I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend Madison Floral to anyone, and am hopeful to use them again for another event in the future! After meeting with several florists who didn’t quite seem to understand our “we don’t care enough about flowers to spend thousands of dollars on them” mentality, we were relieved when we met Edison Chae at Madison Floral. He was patient with our lack of knowledge about flowers and completely understood our desire to dress up the room without breaking the bank. He linked to our Pinterest account and took a look at the arrangements we liked and created a plan with a budget we felt comfortable with. He even through in free uplighting to seal the deal! Two weeks before the wedding we asked if we could come in and see a sample of our centerpieces. After seeing a design, complete with everything we had originally asked for, we decided to take a TOTALLY different direction. Despite her likely frustration with our indecision, Marla was completely calm and patient with us as we worked out a new plan. She offered some great suggestions and we were THRILLED with what we got! The day of the wedding, the flowers all arrived on time to the two locations and looked amazing. Unfortunately, we had some issues with the calla lily boutonnieres breaking at the stem, but when the rep from Madison came to lay the petals for the aisle he was kind enough to sit and fix them for us. Edison and Marla were both very response to any and all questions we had no matter where we were in the process. The flowers were all gorgeous and the price was definitely right!

Edison at Madison Floral offered us numerous creative suggestions for our floral arrangements that fit our budget, and we were very happy with our unique centerpieces, guest card floral display, and ceremony flowers, and flowers for the wedding party. In addition, Edison gave my fiance some useful wedding advice (tuxes, etc) while were meeting to discuss our wedding floral options.

If I was only basing my review on my initial meeting with Edison and the floral designs he sold me on during this meeting, I would be giving Madison Floral a 5 star review. Edison sold me the world during our introductory meeting and my fiancé and I immediately booked him for our wedding at the Fairmont Copley (I should note that we didn’t walk in with a budget in mind, just talked about what we wanted and when we received the quote we thought it sounded good, so my complaints aren’t because he was trying to work within a budget I had set out for him). We talked a lot about the space and flowers, and he’s done a lot of weddings at the Fairmont, so I trusted that he would execute on my vision. What I ended up getting on my wedding day was a big disappointment compared to the grandeur I was sold on. After reviewing what you want for flowers, Madison Floral sends you an invoice that specifically details everything you discussed with Edison and closer to the wedding another member of the Madison Floral team contacts you to re-review everything on the invoice. One of specifications on my invoice was that the flowers be in low square vases, because the votives would also be square, and I don’t like when shapes are mixed. I figure that was a pretty simple specification- so I was pretty surprised when I went to view my reception room set-up during my wedding and saw that all of the vases were round. I was really annoyed because I had made a point of picking square vases and you would think that if for some reason that particular vase wasn’t available they would have called me to discuss other options rather than institute their own judgment on how my wedding should look. The invoice specifically allows for floral substitutions but not vase substitutions. When you spend so much time planning every detail, having something so simple turn out wrong is really frustrating. Another example of them selling me the world and providing nothing was the cake. I decided that instead of sugar flowers (which would not have cost me extra to do) I wanted tons of fresh flowers on top of the cake. I emailed Madison Floral to let them know and ask for a quote. They quoted me $65, that seemed fair for a cake topped with tons of flowers- but to my surprise the cake literally had 4 small little flowers on top- $65 for 4 small flowers? I would not have approved that, and gone with the sugar flowers instead. Lastly, when meeting with Madison Floral they really sold me on doing a “statement piece” for the cocktail hour room where the place cards would go. At first I was against this because it seemed like a waste, but Edison sold me on a large scale design with white flowers and branch elements that I actually thought was worth the money. I was completely disappointed when I entered the cocktail hour and saw a tall cylinder vase with a few white flowers and straight branch elements- it was not full or statement in any sense of the words- and utterly disappointing.

Madison Floral did an excellent job with my wedding. The owner, Edison, is incredibly detail-oriented and thoughtful about his approach. They were also very willing to work within my budget. Edison's wife, Marla, works with him and is also incredibly pleasant to deal with. I felt very confident leading up to the wedding and they delivered on what they promised. With flowers it's interesting, you describe what you want but don't see the finished product until the day of - they did a great job bringing my vision to reality. I was very pleased with Madison Floral and would recommend them to any bride.

The staff at Madison floral was super helpful and totally patient with my lack of vision beyond knowing that I did want flowers of some sort. And the flowers I had were gorgeous. The bouquet wasn't quite what I envisioned but that probably had a lot to do with poor communication on my part

Edison, Marla and Liz were all fantastic! The flowers looked beautiful that evening... Edison was very familiar with my venue (W Hotel Boston) and were always available for questions I had! They worked with my budget as well.

Madison Floral was the recommended florist of my venue, and I assumed that meant that they would be way out of my price range. Not the case! Edison was more than willing to work within my budget and was able to take my concepts and choose in-season flowers that were more affordable. He created lovely bouquets that totally met my vision. For the centerpieces, he did calla lilies in a tall vase. He also created an altar arrangement from candles. This florist also offers lighting and linens for very competitive prices.

We could not have been happier with the flowers that Madison Floral did for my daughter's wedding. Edison listened carefully to what she wanted and came up with the perfect designs and colors for her July wedding. He recommended flowers within her color spectrum that would hold up in the heat. It was hot and they did hold up! He artfully decorated her cake with flowers and the look and feel was exactly what she had envisioned. Weddings are tricky. The bride may have a clear vision but conveying it and having it understood can be a challenge. Edison got it and he and Marla were a delight to work with. No pretensions here!
