I truly cannot imagine how this day would have gone without Maggie’s help. She and her assistant Claire made everything truly seamless. A few weeks before the wedding she told me she could start handling communication with my vendors and since I have a full time job, that was an extra helpful and I hadn’t thought that about when first hiring her. But aside from the work she did leading up to the day, she executed the event so well. The wedding party and my family even made comments to me about how lovely she was to work with. I had grand plans of organizing everything perfectly for her and even though I didn’t get quite as granular as I had hoped, she put it all together perfectly. So much happened behind the scenes that I didn’t even think about until weeks following because even though I initially planned it, she took the reigns and all I had to do was enjoy the night. Her calm and collected demeanor is exactly what every bride needs for their coordinator/planner. She didn’t even flinch when I decided the week before the wedding to add on a “grand exit” that wasn’t originally in the plan- haha. Trying to figure out where to spend money while wedding planning is tough but the money I spent on Maggie’s services was worth every penny. 10/10 would recommend!
Our final month of planning and the wedding day went seamlessly thanks to Maggie! The planning documents and check ins from Maggie made everything so easy and she thought of so many things we hadn’t. We were more than prepared thanks to her. Her note taking is impeccable. On the wedding day Maggie and her assistant Claire made sure all of the decorations were set and the vendors had everything they needed while we got ready for photos and the ceremony. Maggie was a pro at everything and we felt no anxiety during our wedding. We recommend her to anyone who wants to focus on their day and let Maggie work her magic!
As a full time project manager, I consider myself an experienced planner - I truly appreciate a good timeline and attention to all the little details! But, even though I enjoyed the wedding planning process, I knew I wanted a completely stress free day-of. Maggie made that possible! She played a HUGE part in allowing my husband and I (and the entire 12 person wedding party) to be carefree, have fun & let loose on our wedding day! Trust me, that was no easy feat with our rowdy crowd! I was so thankful that Maggie attended our final venue walkthrough, our rehearsal and offered us 30+ minute planning session before the big day. It assured me that she wanted our event to go off without issue. Overall, Maggie was extremely professional & communicative, operated wonderfully with my whole vendor team, was able to work within my budget, was supportive in mapping out a day-of timeline, and executed on said timeline PERFECTLY. If you want a day-of coordinator who you can trust to take the reins completely, hire Maggie Boesen! I’m so glad I did!
Maggie saved my wedding day. Let me start by saying that as we began to plan our wedding we realized we would need some help on the big day. My search was short – when I found Maggie I knew she was exactly the person we needed. In our initial conversation she was engaging, friendly, organized, and ready to talk through my many questions. She provided vendor recommendations and continued to be incredibly responsive in the months leading up to our wedding. She came into our walk through a month out and asked all the right question of our venue, took detailed notes, and setup a shared timeline for all of our vendors. I left that walk-through feeling absolutely taken care of! As we neared the wedding and realized the poor weather forecast was not going to change, Maggie engaged with all of our vendors at the last minute to make the backup plan a reality. She offered suggestions for heaters, blankets, and literally helped to source these items at the last minute.
Then, the night of our wedding, a catering mistake sent our timeline (and really, evening) into a spiral. Maggie quite literally saved the night. She took over duties above and beyond what was already on her plate. She kept all vendors updated, she kept my family in the loop (in a helpful and not stressful way), and she continued to check in on me. When she could sense the mood was dipping she pivoted and brought folks on the dancefloor to bring the energy up. The night ended with our guests letting loose in an all-out dance party, all previous issues forgotten – and we owe that entirely to Maggie. Maggie, words cannot express how thankful and grateful we are for ALL of your hard work and positivity that night!!!
Maggie Boesen truly helped our day run smoothly. My partner and I were so grateful for her help. She is organized, calm (HUGE for day-of stress), and she did so much to help things move along without us needing to ask or worry. Even our guests were commenting on how well-prepared and how helpful Maggie was.
Maggie was very experienced and had so many details already arranged for us before our first meeting. There wasn't a single flaw to my wedding day!
We had Maggie for day-of coordination, including the walkthrough, rehearsal, meetings, prep work etc leading up to the wedding. She also created the timeline and organized wedding details on a shared doc. I had a vision with elements all over the place and she helped bring it all together. Also, she set up all of our decor and brought the vision to life. It was a HUGE help for us and our wedding party. All for a very reasonable cost.
If you value professionalism, organization, friendliness, making helpful suggestions you don't think about, and going beyond expectations...Maggie is your coordinator.
Prospective couples- I also have to emphasize the little things b/c they made a big impact. I know you'll appreciate Maggie being able to think on her feet and produce wonderful outcomes....
Our weekend was a wedding destination for all of us including our 65 guests so it was difficult transporting people, a dog, and decor. Maggie offered ways to make it easier. Maggie- thank you for the decor storage & set-up, driving us to our first look & the ceremony, packing everything up and loading it on the bus, reminding guests to give us a breather from photos, and having such positive energy. Couldn't have dreamed of a more beautiful day!
Maggie was a super calming and sturdy presence on my day of wedding. The week of my wedding, we had to change the complete layout of the wedding based on rain probabilities. Maggie was extra helpful and even made time to go out to the venue on our behalf to make sure everything was lined up and ready to go the day before the actual wedding reception. Her communication was prompt and I knew everything was in good hands.
Maggie was my day of coordinator for my wedding on September 5th in Colorado Springs that had 180 people in attendance. I first met with Maggie virtually as I was planning our wedding from Virginia at the time. We moved during wedding planning and Maggie took time to meet up halfway after moving here to organize & catch up on all things for the wedding day. She is super organized and we kept on the same page by utilization of google drive. She helped bring my whole vision to life & her organization helped me to be organized and create timelines for everyone involved on the wedding day. She came down to Colorado Springs for the rehearsal the day before to run it and make sure everyone was prepared. On the day of the wedding she set up all my decor for the ceremony & reception. She brought my vision to life! I will attach all the pictures here of everything she set up. She seamlessly transitioned decor from ceremony to reception and made sure all the vendors were on the same page and that the guests were enjoying themselves and transitioning when needing to get into the reception for our entrance after cocktail hour. At the end of the night she packed everything up, made sure we had our left over dinner meals and made sure our gift / card box was safely in our room. Maggie is truly is very gifted in this area and I 1000% recommend her to anyone who needs a day of coordinator or wedding planner!!
Maggie made sure everything was organized. She is personable and fun. We could not have kept everything on time or had enough time for ourselves on our wedding without her. Took so much stress away. I probably would have paid double if I knew how great she’d be
So, this is a little unconventional for a review since Maggie and I didn't get to work together on my wedding day due to COVID-19, however let me tell you - she's amazing. During the whole process has been helpful and responsive and we are truly saddened we didn't get to have the full experience with her, however you should hire her so you can!!
