I cannot say enough good things about Maggie as a wedding planner and person. We hired Maggie to plan our wedding from start to finish and it was the best decision we made. To offer context, we tasked Maggie with taking an old, rather outdated country club, and asked her to transform the venue all while managing accommodations for over 260 people. Additionally, the country club was a complete blank canvas which required us to bring in vendors for every single detail. Not only did Maggie handpick top-notch vendors and successfully manage them all, but she did so with the most calm and pleasant demeanor. The country club manager said that out of the many wedding planners he has worked with over the years, Maggie is by far the best because she was enjoyable to work with and incredibly good at her job. We couldn't agree more. My entire family is thankful for Maggie and what she did for us. She was a rockstar from the moment we met her and even after the wedding when she kindly held a ton of wedding supplies at her home so that we didn't have to worry about grabbing them the day after the wedding. As a bride who has dreamed of her wedding day for as long as I can remember, I can confidently say Maggie Mitchell Events made my dreams come true!

Maggie was everything I hoped for and more! She was beyond helpful and really understood my vision. I knew I could trust her to make our wedding perfect! She is very professional and made us feel comfortable and cared for throughout the whole process. Cannot recommend her enough!!

Maggie was truly incredible! She helped make our vision of our wedding dreams come true. She considered every detail important and worked hard to transform our space. I’m so lucky to have had her - my husband and I are so appreciative of all that she did. Not only did she help make the day easy going and special, but even had our favorite drinks ready for us at cocktail hour!! I love her

For many of you reading this, as you consider choosing a wedding planner, we hope you fine this helpful. As the groom's parents, we learned about Maggie Mitchell Events through our son's new bride-to-be. She was excited to share how Maggie would help make this day special for her and Brad. We first met Maggie a few weeks before the wedding day at the wedding venue, Trinity Cathedral. As the groom's father, I tend to be detailed and ask many questions. (No judgment here, please!) Maggie answered one question after another. You will quickly realize how highly skilled and professional Maggie is by the answers provided, followed by great examples of her reasoning. On Jenna and Brad's wedding day, Maggie consistently ensured that through the normal dilemmas including bus/limo traffic delays and ensuring timing of pictures and arriving at the venue timely was to perfection. At the reception, she was always a step ahead of the next event, dance, or speech throughout the evening. In summary, Maggie was instrumental in the success of the entire experience, of Brad & Jenna's wedding day! Maggie was honestly a dream to work with. She was very well organized, super detailed and passionate to make our wedding day as amazing as we could have hopped for! She worked hard to make sure our vision was understood so she could turn it into reality! Her coordination with all the different vendors was such a weight lifted off mine and my moms shoulder. I used Maggie for a corporate event and she was fantastic! She came up with a lot of creative ideas that gave me the look I was going for within the budget I had set. She took the burden off of me when it came to working with outside vendors and ensured she was there when they were setting up to so everything ran smoothly. She was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend her for any event!

We worked with Maggie, and utilized her month of services for our wedding. First off she’ll be your “Type A” bestie, her organization is unmatched. She’s savy and knowledgeable and lead us through all the fine-tuning that goes into wedding planning. The day of she was somehow everywhere all at once, balancing all the little things that popped up while giving me the peace of mind that everything was handled. Communicating with her was easy, and she’s has the sweetest presence to her, she’s also secretly hilarious. We LOVED getting to work with Maggie. I would absolutely use her again for a second marriage ;)

We are extremely glad that we decided to hire Maggie to help organize/coordinate our wedding day. She was the absolute best to work with and we cannot say enough great things about her. If you are considering hiring Maggie- do not hesitate! Her attention to detail and her organization skills are unmatched. She caught multiple things missing in our catering contract. She worked as the point person for our vendors and coordinated all the timelines/details with them. Maggie is very responsive to all forms of communication. Not only are her coordination skills amazing, but she has such great insight and recommendations for every aspect of a wedding you can think of and even some things that you might not have thought about yet. Having Maggie there to make sure everything ran smoothly put us at ease and lessened some of our stress. It was truly a perfect day and we know that is in large part due to Maggie.

I cannot tell you how much magic Maggie sprinkled on our wedding day. She helped plan my sister and my wedding. We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else there. She is there holding your hand each step of the way. Forget to send an email, Maggie did it. Not sure how something will look, Maggie will have an expert design eye to help you select. Not sure how to handle a tricky guest situation, Maggie has the advice you need. Almost have to change your venue the day before the reception, Maggie will come over at 7 AM to help make sure everything is okay. Maggie is an absolute gem and I cannot tell you how much support, love, and happiness she exudes. The love she has for what she does is palpable and her passion for you, her client is evident. By my wedding day, Maggie wasn’t simply a vendor, she was a part of our family!

Elizabeth and I had our wedding at St. Basil in Brecksville a few weeks ago and we decided to hire a wedding planner for our reception at The Hilton Cleveland Downtown. Maggie came highly recommended from a mutual friend and I can say with all honesty choosing Maggie to help organize our wedding day was the best money we spent on the wedding. Maggie helped organize all of our vendors the month of the wedding. She went above and beyond helping coordinate our day-of timeline and even helped the next day after the wedding. Specifically, we had a chair rental company charge us a late night pick up fee and Maggie noticed the next day that they did not pick up same night. She contacted the vendor and arranged a refund for us. All without us having to do a thing. We also had another issue the day after the wedding with our florist not picking up arrangements and Maggie went to the venue and packed everything up for us and helped us coordinate the arrangements for pick up. There were countless other things she did behind the scenes that made life so much easier on our wedding day and we will forever be grateful. We can't recommend Maggie enough!

Maggie was a dream to work with. She was with us every step of the way, listening to our vision, helping us navigate COVID restrictions, narrowing down vendor options for us and just overall having our backs throughout the craziness of the wedding planning process. No matter the request, big or small, Maggie was there with a smile on and a can-do attitude. She kept us sane and positive throughout the wedding planning journey. I really could not have planned a wedding without her and can’t recommend her enough for your wedding!

Maggie started her career in fine dining restaurants. She quickly learned that the planning side of being in the restaurant is what she loved most. She slowly moved into wedding planning, and now has been planning full time for the last 7 years. Maggie loves being involved in such an important day for her couples, and the ones that are held closest to them. Still one of her favorite moments of the day is seeing the reaction of the groom when the bride walks down the aisle. She cannot wait to start this wedding journey with you!
