Maggio's Ballroom at Hampton Square

We used Maggio's Ballroom for our rehearsal dinner and it was perfect! Bette was awesome to work with and always went above and beyond to help us out. The ballroom looked beautiful on the night of the dinner, the food was amazing, and all of the guests at our dinner commented on the great food, staff and decor. We would definitely recommend!

This venue was absolutely amazing. Bette was with us every step of the way to help us make our day exactly as we wanted it to be. During the reception, the staff was always around making sure that our guests had everything that they needed. They were friendly and helpful. The food was INCREDIBLE and plated beautifully! Our cake tasted amazing and looked stunning! All of our family and friends are still raving about what an amazing reception we had and that is thanks to Bette, her staff, the baker, and all those who helped to make our day everything we dreamed it would be! We could not have had a better venue than Maggio's!! The staff was beyond expectations. All guests all agreed that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding, they never waited for a drink, and anyone working did everything they could to ensure all of our 200 guests had a great night. Bette, the banquet manager allowed us to customize our package to include everything we needed to plan the wedding we wanted.

Maggio's was wonderful from start to finish! The Banquet Manager and her assistant were excellent in providing wide menu options and helping us narrow down what we really wanted - simple and elegant. And they delivered! Many at our reception said they enjoyed a delicious meal and had a great time, which was an answer to our prayers! Our "Sweetheart Table" made it easy to enjoy our meal while watching our guests enjoy theirs, helping to make our wedding reception a beautiful and joy-filled occasion.

I was truly amazed with this place. From the first time i called, Bette gave me all the information i needed. There was never a time she wasn't available through the whole process. Not only was she great but the staff was just as amazing! My overall experience was perfect! It was very affordable and Bette works with you for everything you need or want to make your day perfect.There is nothing i would change or wasn't happy with! I wouldn't pick any other place.

If you are looking for a wonderful wedding reception then Maggios is your place....my husband and I are so happy with how our reception turned out. From the very beginning of our engagement and booking at Maggios it was so easy and stressfree. Bette is the most amazing wedding coordinator on the face of the planet. She is so easy going and makes sure everything is absolutely perfect for you big day. Her staff was absolutely amazing with making sure me and my husband were happy and taken care of, and also our guest. Everything from our decorations, food, drinks and setup were perfect and we had so much fun we would do it all over again. Any future parties we have we will most definitely be having them there. Thank you to Bette and Maggios....we had the wedding reception of our dreams and we are still smiling from ear to ear with how wonderful our night was!

Maggio's ballroom is a beautiful hidden gem. I am getting married there on 9/24 and could not be more excited. Bette, the banquet manager, has been very helpful with all of our needs, is very knowledgeable, and friendly. If you haven't checked out this place yet you need to!

We had the most amazing time at Maggio's for both our ceremony and reception. Everything was set up perfectly and the food was AMAZING! The service was excellent, and Bette was very helpful in planning our big day! Bette was always quick to respond to my emails and requests! Our wedding at Maggios was great! We searched for a very long time before finally deciding that Maggios was our place. Bette met with us many times to ensure that we were comfortable and didn't have any unanswered questions. Bette worked well with our wedding planner as well! I would have given 5 stars, except... when we went for our tasting the food was mouth watering! and I mean to die for! We tried the salmon, steak, and pasta. The steak was the best part of the tasting, so we knew we had to go with it. We agreed the steak would be cooked medium as it had been at our tasting. He put this on our RSVP as well. HOWEVER, the steak at the wedding was VERY well done and very dry! I was so disappointed that almost 90% of the guests ordered the steak. I was a bit embarrassed, since one thing I personally always talk about after weddings is the food. One reason we went with Maggios was because they are a restaurant and it wouldnt be catered, so we thought the food must be great! So, other than the food, everything was great!

We absolutely loved our wedding reception at Maggio's. Ms Bette was an amazing Maitre D. She was available at anytime and answered emails promptly. She truly made us feel that our business was valued. The staff were very professional. The food was spectacular. My guests and vendors all raved about how great the food was! It was the perfect size venue for our family and friends and the ballroom is beautiful!

Stop everything you are doing and go see this place for yourself!!! I had low expectations when we arrived, considering the building was in a strip mall- however, we walked in and I was blown away. Maggios ballroom is spacious, elegant, and timeless. The parking lot allows for plenty of guest parking. This place is phenomenal. Let's start with Bette. Bette handles everything with ease. She is simply amazing and an absolute bride's dream to work with! Bette goes above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. I never had to chase after her- Bette was always there with the drop of a pin. She is quick and goes with the flow! No task is too much and she knows her stuff. As a bride, I was confident my day would be perfect- because I had Bette. Our wedding was extremely detailed and Bette had everything set and ready to go early. She transformed the ballroom into something beyond my wildest dreams. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful it was. Bette became my family- i never felt like just another client- we felt Valued and so cared for! Another thing we all can't stop gushing over is the food! Maggios has, by far, the best food and the best prices. You can't go wrong. Our houderves were delicious and the main courses : filet mignon and chilean sea bass were to die for. This bride cleaned her plate!! The staff was on point and quick to serve. Everything was perfect. We can't say enough wonderful things about Bette and Maggios- we do know that we will be hosting many future events here and know that our perfect day was in the best of hands. We are so greatful for the work they put into our wedding day! Thank you Bette and all the Maggios staff!!

Our day could not have been more perfect. Even though it snowed in April, none of that mattered. Bette and her staff were amazing and no stone was left unturned. I would definitely refer Maggio's to anyone who is looking to throw a great party without going broke:)

Great place to host a wedding! The ballroom was beautiful, the food was delicious and the drinks were tasty! Bette was there for us throughout the planning process, and she went to great lengths to make sure that everything was perfect for us on the big day. Weddings nowadays can be pretty expensive, but the price of the Ballroom at Hampton Square was extremely reasonable and we weren't forced to skimp on elegance. We would definitely recommend this place!

We had always eaten at Maggios and loved the food there. Every time I ate there, I would peek into other peoples celebrations and party set up in the ballroom there. Each one looked beautiful! I decided to look into having my wedding there. I talked with Bette and she guided us through everything. She answers emails so quickly. She helped with DJ, Judge who married us and bakery for our cake. She puts any worries or jitters at ease. She made our room look beautiful with red linens. She helped me with table arrangements, putting out the favors, and a cake stand. We got married in front of the fireplace there and Bette had it decorated with roses and candles. We had no bridal party so we had a lovely sweetheart table for our meal. The staff at Maggios were excellent, and the food was delicious. Now for a room with mostly Italian people to tell me that was the best Lasagne they ever had..you know the food is great! Last but not least..the cost. I cannot believe to this day how much we got for our money. We had a budget and we really got a quality location, fine food, good bar package, cake, great service and a beautiful, happy wedding day. All the guests said they had so much fun at our wedding. So if you are looking for a place to have your wedding try Maggios. You will not be disappointed.

We have eaten at Maggio's plenty of times, but never knew about the ballroom. We discovered it by accident and we're glad we did! This place is a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations tenfold! Bette is an incredible planner that helped us every step of the way. While we were unsure, nervous, giddy, and at times indecisive, she remained calm and collective the whole way through. We went through several changes along the way, and she was nice enough not to kill us! Maggio's let us choose one of several packages, but allowed for some customization. That really made it more personal and less cookie cutter, so we really appreciated that! Our event was everything we hoped for and more. Once everything was in place, we were awestruck. The staff did an amazing job, the food was fantastic (so we heard...we were so busy running around talking to people that we barely ate! We ate a lot during the tasting though!), and all of our guests had a blast! Summary: Maggio's Ballroom can accommodate any budget and delivers 150%!

All I can say is WOW. I couldn't have imagined a better day! Everyone at Maggio's made our wedding day amazing! Allison Korbik is just great, always so positive, helpful, cheerful, excited to help and very quick to respond! I worked with her from the beginning and also with Betty! She was so helpful and always made sure things got done! For example, I had mistakenly switched the color of the linens and my napkins when I signed my contract and the day before the wedding, I realized my mistake. Betty pulled through and had everything switched back to the way I imagined it to be in such a short window of time! The food was out of this world, we had a complimentary food tasting several months prior to our wedding with TONS of left overs. We did the Council Rock Buffet. All of our guests loved the giant portions of Chicken Parm, Penne A La Vodka and the roasted vegetables are out of this world! We also had a huge dessert bar with tons of leftovers to take home! We had both our ceremony and reception at Maggios. The crew behind the scenes transformed the ceremony hall to be part of the reception in a blink of an eye! We used their centerpieces and linens and everything looked perfect! The bartenders, servers, everyone was just so genuinely kind and helpful. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience from the first day I got in contact with Alison till the day of my wedding. Completely flawless journey! I have highly recommended Maggio's to anyone I know having an event or wedding! I will definietly use them again in the future! Thank-you for making our wedding so special!

When our original venue we booked a year in advanced double book another event and refused to cancel, we were stressed about finding a venue in juat a few months. My sister in law recently had her wedding at the ballroom at Maggios so we thought to try there. Luckily, our date was available. Bette did an amazing job accommodating us and getting everything in order. Our reception was absolutely perfect. We've heard numerous times it was the best wedding some attendees have been to. Thanks you so much Bette and staff for making our wedding day perfect!!

We actually did a destination wedding and wanted a nice place to have our reception when we got home! Maggio's Ballroom is gorgeous and to top that off, the staff, food/service was great as well. Bette was the best!!! She always was willing to help and whenever I needed something, she would answer me right back! I would recommend Maggio's for any occasion, whatever it may be. I wouldn't have wanted my reception anywhere else except here! You cant go wrong with having great food, and a great atmosphere.

My husband and I had our wedding Maggio's on a Friday in January. We were daring about the timing, but not about the venue. Maggio's was PERFECT! From day one, our wedding coordinator, Alison, was an outstanding help. She was readily available to answer any questions and helped to ease my wedding jitters. All I had to do was explain how I intended for things to go and Alison took care of the rest! My friend recently had her wedding and said she wished she would have done it like me because I had it so easy! The food was fabulous and the guests raved about it. The room arrangement was perfect and everything flowed so smoothly. In addition to all of her help in decorating and ensuring proper service, Alison also helped us time out our event. If we lost track of the time, she’d come over and let us know that it was time to start the champagne toast or cut the cake. It was so helpful! I also can’t say enough good things about the quality for the price. We did a package deal that included the hors d'oeuvres, sit down dinner, cake, linens. The cost was great and that helped me to feel like anxious about the whole event. I highly recommend Maggio’s to any bride and groom! You won’t regret your choice. =)

5 stars are not enough to express the attentive care we received from Bette and her staff at Maggio's. The ballroom, food, and service were all phenomenal. We are writing this review over a week after the event and our friends and family are still speaking about the event and the food. Every course had received rave reviews (even the salad!). While all these items were integral in ensuring our wedding and reception were wonderfully memorable, they pale in comparison to the care and guidance Bette provided to us through the entire process, allowing us to enjoy and get the most out of our special day. Thank you!!! (ps - we shared with a few close friends/family what this event cost - they could not believe it. Thank you again for the total experience - Great food, great service, priceless guidance, and unbelievable value!!)

Maggio's was the perfect place for our wedding venue! Being a couple on a budget this venue exceeded our expectations. The room looked beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the service was great! So happy we went with Maggio's, I would recommend this venue to any couple!

I looked at many venues in the Bensalem, Langhorne, Philadelphia, Huntingdon Valley area, trying to find the lowest price for a beautiful venue. I was having a reception of 200 people and needed a venue that could serve that number, be centrally located and close to my church, have room for dancing, was aesthetically pleasing, had great food and fit my budget. As soon as I found The Ballroom at Hampton Square I knew that I had found the perfect location. Bette, the events manager is the sweetest gem of a woman that you will ever work with. She went above and beyond to help me see my wedding vision become a reality. The room was stunning, and I still almost 4 months later have friend raving about the food and the atmosphere of the place. Then I tell them the price and they can't believe that I paid that price this year, when is comparable to what people were paying 15 years ago. We had the best reception we could ever have had and I love now that we can go to Maggio's Restaurant on our anniversary and remember the great time we had and enjoy the same menu that we enjoyed so much on our big day! I recommend this venue to all newly engaged couples. I am convinced that you will not find anything else in the area better!

I cannot explain how pleased and happy we were with choosing Maggios as not only our reception venue, but also where we held our ceremony. I knew from the moment we seen the ballroom that was the place we were going to choose (the location was not what I was picturing, but please don't let that turn you off from checking out the inside!) bette was amazing & was there with any questions or concerns that we had. she really went above and beyond for us, especially when planning our food and cake tasting. the reception was absolutely perfect & was everything that we wanted it to be and more. the colors and the décor really pulled everything together. the prices were reasonable and they were willing to work with our budget. I would definitely recommend this place and will keep it in mind for any future events that we have.

My husband and I are very non-traditional. We are two peas in a pod and the one thing for the wedding that was easy to agree on was that we wanted it Comic-Con themed. Meaning everyone had to come in a costume from their favorite book, movie, comic book, television show, etc. Needless to say we needed to find a venue that wouldn't look at us like we are crazy people, and that would make us feel comfortable. When we found Maggio's we found it to be affordable, friendly, accommodating, and most of all accepting. (The food was remarkable as well.) Everyone who worked there seemed equally excited to be a part of our wedding. I am a super high strung person and Bette, the coordinator, made my life easy and stress free. I would, and do, recommend Maggio's to anyone looking to get married or even anyone having any type of party or get together. You will not be disappointed.

My husband & I had a destination wedding in March, 2014 but also wanted to have an at home wedding reception for those family & friends who couldn't make it out to the Bahamas. After having dinner one night at Maggio's we contacted Bette to set up a meeting to view their ballroom. We were blown away by how beautiful the room was and thought it would be the perfect place to hold our at home wedding reception. From the minute we met Bette, she was wonderful! She was professional, organized, helpful, and made the process of planning a wedding reception (times two) such an easy and great experience for the both of us. She was a true pleasure to work with and her staff was amazing! We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was and how personable and friendly the staff was. Bette & the staff at Maggio's went above and beyond to make our night not only special for us but for our family and friends as well! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect night! As a certified wedding planner, I tend to be very particular (ie: picky) in my wedding-day selections, and can honestly say that Maggio's Ballroom in Southampton, PA is my favorite.venue.of.all.time.EVER. I honestly cannot write nice enough things about this place, and it really has everything a bride could want, all for a very, very, very reasonable price! For my own wedding on August 15th, 2014 Maggio's Ballroom was the beautiful, elegant, timeless, and top-notch experience I had always dreamed of. From the moment I spoke to their catering manager, Bette, I knew this place was something special. Bette was the kindest, nicest, most thoughtful person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She really went above and beyond to insure that every detail of my wedding was perfect (and I had some crazy detailed-details, being a wedding planner finally planning her own wedding!). All of her suggestions were really on-point (she suggested I use Confection Perfection for my cake - they were awesome!!!), and I'm saying with total confidence that no other venue has a Bette. Her love for her job is apparent in every phone call, email, meeting, and carefully proof-read contract. From our very first phone conversation, and before I had even met her or visited Maggio's, I knew I had to use Maggio's Ballroom as my venue, because no other catering manager goes WELL out of their way to make you feel so uniquely special....right off the bat! What a blessing to have Bette!!! Every other aspect of my experience at Maggio's Ballroom was perfect, all thanks to Bette's hard work and care. Please trust me when I tell you, that not every Venue has a "Bette". The food was AMAZING (get the Chilean Sea Bass and Filet), and the service outstanding. The rest of the staff was friendly, professional, and very attentive (as a former server, I am highly critical of service staff and they really impressed!). As a Wedding Planner who became the world's most hands-on Bride, it was truly a delight from start to finish using Maggios Ballroom for my special day. We had a wonderful time at our rehearsal dinner at Maggio's. The food was delicious and we were allowed to bring a special groom's cake. They gave us a table to put our gifts on and we were given our own menu with our names on it.

Maggio's food and venue were perfect. Alison made the whole thing stress free and made sure I did not have to worry about anything. So much is included in the price, and that price is very reasonable. Highly, highly recommended!

My wedding at Maggio's was everything I could have ever dreamed of and SO much more. The evening was flawless and perfect in every way. I often reflect on the night and try to find something that I would have done differently but it is impossible. The staff, the service, the food, the dessert bar, abosolutely everything was flawless. Not to mention, the price is incredible. After originally wanting a pretty big wedding, my husband and I decided to have a smaller wedding with family and few friends. My Husband and I had our wedding reception here and let me first start off by saying that Maggio's is definitely a household name, everyone knows it for the amazing food and efficient service. My husband, family and myself had a dream of a reception here from the moment we walked in it was a party the ballroom was exactly how I pictured it and had desired in my heart, the service was just that service at its best my guests wanted for nothing and had a blast. Everyone was raving about the food and the cake. I often want to hit the rewind button in life to go back and relive that night it was really very amazing and we will remember it always, we are pleased to say we had our reception for our wedding at Maggio's ballroom and we will recommend it to everyone! Our coordinator Bette was incredible from beginning to end she was so sweet and personable and accommodating with everything, planning a wedding can be very strenuous and pressing however Bette allowed me to feel at ease with everything that went into making our reception so beautiful! We are quite happy so three cheers to Maggio's may they continually grow and prosper and bless the many other lives that come to have a special day or night there shared with loved ones and friends.

From the very start Bette was great to work with while planning our wedding. She is very understanding and offers great ideas. Even through all my indecisiveness she was GREAT. The entire staff the night of our wedding were so nice and super helpful. They went above and beyond to make us feel like we were royalty. We are still receiving compliments from our wedding on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was; from apps, to dinner ND dessert. Also HUGE thanks to our DJ, Sacco Entertainment - who kept the dance floor packed ALL night. As well as Enlight LLC for the awesome lighting.

Everything was perfect !! Food was amazing !! place is beautiful :) Bette was such a help !! and the prices were not bad at all. Wasn't happy that people had to pay for drinks that were supposed to be included but were told they weren't. Felt rushed at the end on my reception when they were about to clean up. Didn't feel like I did in the beginning .

my dream wedding came true having my wedding at maggio's. bette was so easy to work with, very accessible, if i needed anything, she answered immediately and was just so helpful in a time of much stress. the food was amazing, had many compliments on the food being great. the place just looked great, with the linens, candlelight, etc. i literally had my dream wedding and want to go back to it every single day. just to relive it over and over again at maggio's!

We first started working with Bette at Maggio's last summer and from the start Bette and the staff were wonderful. All though the planning process, Bette has been helpful and really listened to what we wanted. The ballroom was transformed and looked perfect for our celebration. My husband and I were on a very tight budget and Maggio's was the perfect place for us to hold our reception. Instead of doing a wedding package, our coordinator Bette, altered one of the banquet packages for us which saved us money. She made the whole planning process extremely easy. Plus the food was excellent and the ballroom was beautifully decorated. Very happy with Maggio's and I would recommend this venue to anyone!

When I first stepped into Maggio's Ballroom, I couldn't believe there was such a hidden gem in the back of this restaurant. The ballroom is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Leading up to my day, Alison, my banquet manager, made sure everything would be picture perfect for my day. When the day came, everything indeed was perfection. Sometimes banquet halls get the rep for bad food... well Maggio's food is probably the most amazing I have had at a wedding. I kept receiving compliments all night about how beautiful my wedding was and how amazing the food was, all thanks to Alison and Maggio's. I don't think I could of asked for better service.

To anyone CONSIDERING A WEDDING RECEPTION at MAGGIOS PLEASE SERIOUSLY CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING - We entrusted Maggios to provide service and an atmosphere one would expect at a recent wedding reception. The following is what we encountered: (1) People attending a 40th birthday party in the next room decided that they liked our music so they opened the door that otherwise separated the rooms and inexplicably decided to enter our room and began dancing during our event as though this were a public event. They did this at least a half dozen times. (2) People from the birthday party also used our room and the dance floor as a cut-through to their room; running between people dancing. (3) People from the birthday party and otherwise unidentified individuals got in line and took food from our buffet and ordered drinks from our open bar on numerous occasions. (4) We found uninvited and unknown individuals loitering at the sign-in table going through information at the table. (5) The door directly beside the sweetheart table was opened and closed by the other party repeatedly during the reception, distracting those attending. Maggios management was notified that evening of this outrageous behavior yet it continued to the extent that I (father of the groom) needed to address the other party myself to make it stop. After numerous calls to Maggios ownership here is what happened when we spoke: (1) I was told "not to worry". We wouldn't be charged anything additional due to what uninvited people took from the bar and buffet. (Isn't it the point that people were interrupting and stealing drinks and food from our wedding reception?) (2) I was told that Maggios staff had no ability to manage this behavior nor did they feel it was their responsibility in any way to control the actions of other guests at their establishment. (Are they serious?) (3) After requesting an adjustment to our bill for this substandard and incompetent service, I was told that it was my word against the event manager (Do I really need to defend what dozens of other attendees witnessed? Is this a position you want to be in on such a special day?) (4) After a great deal of debate (as though I should in any way need to debate this), Maggios said they did not understand what I wanted. (Again, seriously? How about a heartfelt apology? How about the assurance that corrective action would be taken for other events? How about being appalled by the actions of the other party? How about taking responsibility? How about proactively attempting to make things right?) (5) After informing the woman from Maggios that I was extremely dissatisfied with her response, she hung up on me. Please consider if this is an experience you want to encounter when looking for venues - especially for special events.

My husband and I were just married May 11th 2012. Our reception was @ Maggio's and from our first meeting to the big day was the best experience I could of hoped for!! Bette was our wedding planner and she could not have been more helpful!! The room was exactly the way I had pictured and the food!! The food was amazing...all of our guests told us how great it was. I would def. recommend Maggio's to anyone who has a wedding or event coming up...actually I already have!! I know that they will be my first call for my next event.

I can not say enough good things about Maggio's! Bette, the event coordinator, is fantastic, the service was outstanding, and the food was so delicious! The ballroom is gorgeous and Bette set everthing up beautifully! The thing that really sold me on Maggio's was the fact that you get so much for your money which was so refreshing. I had everything I wanted and then some and I didn't have to break the bank. I would highly reccomend this venue to everyone. I could not be more pleased.

I married the man of my dream's on August 5, 2011. We had a traditional catholic ceremony in our beautiful church followed by an amazing reception that topped of the night! Maggio's ballroom looked amazing due to the great staff that I left in charge of even putting together my centerpieces! Wanting everything to be perfect that day was hard leaving such a big part out of my control, but they made the room look better than I expected! When we arrived, the room glistened with floating candles and hot pink rose petals everywhere, it was the most beautiful set up I had ever seen! Not only was the room amazing, the food was incredible! The staff even saved appetizers for the bridal party that they brought personally to us in the bridal suite when we arrived. (Ladies, this is very important, you will be starving by this time!) Dinner was served and cleaned up very promptly (I recommend color coding placecards on the back, smooth process)! The rest of the night was left to dancing. After the reception, the staff even broke down my centerpieces and stored them for me in a locked room, as well as saved the top of my cake! Everyone at Maggio's was such a pleasure to work with. A special thanks to Bette the banquent coordintor. She was very easy going and helpful along the way. I was so thankful for all her help, I had to make a special announcement to my guest at the end of my reception thanking her and the staff for what an amazing night they delivered for us. Any bride looking to have a beautiful reception without the hassle of all the "country club" rules and regulations, I would reccomend Maggio's in a heartbeat. I am still receiving compliments to this day from my guest telling me, "that was the best wedding I have ever been too". The whole day day was perfect! I would love to do it all over again, and I wouldn't change a thing:)

Maggio's may not look like the ideal wedding venue from the parking lot, but it is absolutely gorgeous inside and the staff was so accommodating and helpful. Bette was extremely helpful and did everything in her power to ensure we had a wonderful time. Guests were impressed and had a wonderful time. We still are getting comments on the delicious food.

My husband and I had our reception at Maggio's two weeks ago (7/16/2011) and it was beyond our expectations! The staff is flexible and friendly. They were willing to help me with whatever ideas I had for decor or food. I really liked that they helped me personalize the reception hall to be tailored to my husband and I's choices. They even helped me put ideas together when I got stuck. Maggio's even worked with our budget, which was extremely helpful. After our wedding many guests told me how much fun they had, raved about the food, and expressed they were blown away by the elegance of the ballroom! If you are looking for a place to have your reception and desire to have friendly staff who really care about making your reception exactly how you want it and on a budget you can afford....definitely choose Maggio's!!
