Magic Occasions Catering

Our venue had a preferred vendors list and we decided on Magic Occasions. They did an amazing job catering for our wedding. The food came out delicious. We decided on only hiring a bartender from them but was pleasantly surprised that they brought a lot of their own supplies. It was a little hard to contact Magic Occasions since it seems Angie is the only one who manages communications. However, despite this fact, they were able to accommodate us and then some.

Angie and the team were great, the food was amazing, the cake was beautiful and everything came together perfectly!! Highly recommend Magic Occasions for your wedding day :)

Really yummy food for our wedding. Nice variety of food options to choose from, great bar service, and OMG the cake looked like something from a famous bakery, and tasted as good as it looked. For everything that was included in the contract (specialized food for our vegan guests, charger plates, a champagne toast for all guests, the linens, and helping with the reception setup), this vendor was extremely well priced. Thank you Angie and your team for helping to make our wedding day lovely.

Magic Occasions did an amazing job catering our wedding! Angie worked with us on having vegan options since I am vegan and we had a couple of vegan guests. The vegan chicken piccata was so delicious, and I appreciated that they had many vegan appetizers and most of the sides were made vegan. The bartender was great too! I cannot recommend this caterer enough, the food was amazing and the price was great!

Magic Occasions is truly phenomenal. My brother and sister in law actually used them for their wedding 10 years ago and we were so pleased we used them for our wedding. Not only was the food PHENOMENAL, Angie was so incredibly patient and kind. She worked tirelessly to create a menu that supported our allergies for myself (bride) and our guests and we had a lot of allergies so it wasn’t an easy task but Angie made sure we had plenty of options and they were all delicious!! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional both at the bar and for the food. Thank you a million times over to Angie and her team for making our wedding and meal so wonderful!!

Angie was absolutely amazing to work with and provided the catering for my wedding flawlessly. I have heard from numerous guests that the food was incredible, and of course, I loved it too! Angie was also very flexible with my postponement due to covid, and even with the guest count days prior to the event. Catering is such a big part of the wedding, and it was great knowing that I had nothing to worry about. I highly recommend Angie and her team!

From the tasting, to the day of the wedding, Magic Occasions was amazing! For the great service and delicious food they provide, you cannot beat their very reasonable pricing that can be customized to your budget. Angela was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. I received so many compliments from my guests about how delicious the food was! They were also very accommodating about any guests with allergies and included kid friendly plates. Their staff and bar services went above and beyond as well. Magic Occasions catered our wedding and made our wedding cake. Angie was great about setting up our initial food and cake tastings. She was flexible about letting us pick up linens for our wedding the day before so our relatives could begin setting up our cookie table early on the morning of the wedding. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced - all of our guests especially loved the brisket and I personally loved the mac and cheese. Angie was accommodating about providing kids meals and vegetarian meals for some of our guests. The cake was phenomenal, so moist and flavorful. The service the day of the wedding was great!

My coworkers raved about this catering business, so my husband and I gave them a shot after we lost our first caterer. Let me just say, I wish we would’ve known about them sooner. They are amazing. The food is incredible and so many options to choose from! We had a mixed culture wedding and everyone was raving about the food! We also got our cake from them, which again, OUTSTANDING. We are so thankful that we found them for our wedding. We actually have not only the top tier saved, but another tier in our freezer too! Can’t wait to try it again for our first anniversary!

SO, I want to start off by saying that Magic Occasions did a fantastic presentation of all the food! The servers were wonderful Everything from the Hors D's to the main course to the cake. The bar service was on point. Bartender included was awesome. She remembered who was drinking what. Champagne for toast, coffee for cake. I cannot say enough about Angie who responded to emails quickly and was there day of my daughter's wedding. She set up floor plan and all. The food (flank steak and white wined chicken, Spanish rice, plantains and beans were on point!) My guests even complimented the food days after. Listen, don't waste your time looking at other caterers. Magic Occasions does it ALL! No need to look for separate vendors for this and that. Stick with Magic. Prices were very reasonable and selections are varied. Look at their menu! Their pages are very plain and simple and the prices are there for you to see. What are you waiting for? Magic Occasions is the way to go. We had 50 guests with dual entree, 6types of H'D for cocktail hour. Open bar with liquor beer wine. Cake too. It was SO awesome that I'm ready to throw another party soon with Magic Occasions as the caterer. No joke!!!

Magic Occasions was on the list of recommended caterers for our venue for our wedding. We quickly scheduled a taste test and oh my goodness we were hooked! We had multiple appetizer options, multiple entree options, multiple sides, and dessert! Everything was excellent. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received, and continue to receive, about the food provided! Angie helped us make appropriate selections for our guest count as well as assisting us with other wedding related decisions (buying alcohol, venue set up, etc). Angie created the floor plan for our venue that suited us, provided bar service, and a cake cutting service, to name a few. We had the best time and appreciated Magic Occasions for making the night go so smoothly!

Angie answered all of my questions before our wedding event. The day of, the staff were all very friendly and wonderful. The food was DELICIOUS!! Thank you for making my daughters wedding day a very memorable one.

We were so pleased with Angie and the services she provided us. We booked Magic Occasions for caterering and bar services. The food was amazing and the staff was so thoughtful and professional. We also requested cookies, cupcakes, and a cake from Angie... WOW. Our guests loved everything. It was so nice to book multiple services with one company. We also really appreciated a second tasting and all of the advice Angie provided along the way. She went above and beyond. We hired Magic Occasions and Angie to cater our wedding on 11/09/2019 and I cannot express how happy we are that we chose them! The food was delicious and it would be an understatement to say that it was "alot of food" because honestly, WOW! So much food (and yummy!) that you and your guests will definitely not walk away hungry! The staff was attentive and personable at the event, and Angie herself was such a pleasure to work with. The prices were so incredibly reasonable for the amount of food (and great taste!) you get that you will not be disappointed. I already wish I had another huge party to host so I could hire them for the food!! Thank you, Angie, for making my wedding day so special!

Angie and the Magic Occasions Team were wonderful to work with. They were highly professional and extremely tentative. There are simply not enough words I could use to begin to explain how Angie and her mother made our special day so delicious! We met with Angie twice for the food tasting and the cake tasting. Magic occasions was the first food vendor we tried for a wedding and said yes as soon as we had the food . To this day guest are still talking about the food add a Our Wedding because it was just so delicious and fresh. The cake was absolutely one-of-a-kind I showed Angie kind of the idea I was going for and then she drew it showed me and made it happen. Magic occasions take care of anything from appetizers to the food to a dessert table, cake, alcohol, bartenders, linens special plates, every thing! All for a convenient and special price! Our wedding was 175 guest and we still had food left over! If I could get married again I would choose magic magic occasions over any vendor. Angie and her mother are the best!!

Magic Occasions catered my wedding on October 6th. There was a mishap at the venue with the times but the caterers handled everything expertly. The food was still cooked on time and everything tasted amazing! We still have guests raving about the Beef Brisket! The staff were extremely helpful and professional. If anything went wrong that day, no one could tell. They made sure the food stayed hot, the beverage dispensers remained full, and that the plates were picked up timely. Angie was extremely helpful during the planning process. Her expertise and suggestions helped us plan an amazing meal and she even offered help with the flow of the cocktail hour and ceremony. She was extremely patient and handled any last minute changes or additions that we needed to make. She helped the planning process run smoothly and virtually stress free. Not only did they cater the food, we also had them do the mini cupcakes for our dessert table. They were AMAZING! We couldn't keep the Mint Chocolate on the table for more then a few minutes before they completely disappeared. They also provided the table cloths and napkins for the event. They helped with the set up and remained extremely professional the entire night. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a catered. I would definitely use them again in the future!

Angie and her team were amazing. We got exactly what we wanted, and everyone RAVED about the food. Very professional and sweet.

Magic occasions was affordable but communication wasn’t always the best. The day of the wedding they asked me for cups and plates, I seriously did not know I had to provide those. The whole 6 months of planning and no one communicated to me, not even in the contract that I needed to provide plates and cups. My nephew had to run out and buy some. Also when we had our food tasting we ordered a mashed potato bar, on the day of our wedding we were served just mashed potatoes, no toppings. One more thing went wrong when I emailed Angie the recipes for the drinks I wanted served at the bar a week before the wedding and the while my guests are ordering drinks from our menu, the bartender had no idea what they were talking about because she never received the recipes. Angie was very nice, but I honestly think she needs help since her business is growing and her communication wasn’t the best.

Angie was a life saver during the wedding planning process. She was so patient with my dozen emails and she was confirming details through the week leading up to the wedding. The food was amazing at our tasting and the day of, it was better than we remembered!! I cannot imagine having anyone else cater my wedding thanks to the knowledge and helpfulness! Angie is amazing and I will think of them any time I may be having a large party!

First let me preface this by saying that I am a groom that researches everything in depth..whether its a big investment or a small one time purchase. Many say I go overboard, but I digress.. As a result I get a good general idea on where the "bar" is with whatever I'm looking at. I cannot say enough positive things about Angie and Magic Occasions Catering. The company is family owned and operated and it shows. The quality, attention to detail, and overall experience with Angie and her team was flawless and exceeded expectations. We had our wedding on April 21 but did our due diligence and began researching catering companies well over a year in advance. There are larger and more "established" companies out there for sure, however they lack the individual attention and concern. When we first met Angie, we felt that she took interest and personal responsibility in the company. She was very much involved throughout the whole process from planning, tasting, and the actual delivery of the finished product. In fact she herself worked with her catering staff for the entire duration of our wedding. The food was amazing. We opted for the premium buffet package. Everything was clearly explained and there were no suprises later. Other companies we had checked out tried to hide add-ons with extra surchages or fees, not so with Magic Occassions. We had the shephard's pie, baked chicken thighs, and roast beef as our main entrees. Each item tasted and was prepared as a home cooked meal. All our guests raved about the food! I have been at other weddings with $75+per person plated meals. They do not compare. Luckily we had a bit of extra food and almost a week later, the chicken is still fall-off-the-bone delicious. If you are looking for courteous staff to cook and deliver delicious food, all at a great value, than look no further. This is the caterer you want.

Magic Occasions was one of the few approved caterers for our wedding venue. When doing research, I appreciated that they listed pricing on their website and were very transparent about their menu and choices. We scheduled a meeting with them and were blown away by how amazing this family-run (mother/daughter) business was run! They were so friendly and flexible with us in planning our wedding menu and making selections. We were also thrilled with their pricing compared to so many of the other big caterers in the area! We were able to get almost twice the amount of food as other caterers for approximately the same price! During the planning process, I did have a wait a few days before receiving a response from Angie, but she always got back to me with the answers I was looking for. On the wedding day, we didn't get a chance to try any of our appetizers due to pictures, but many guests said that they were great! We also received numerous compliments on our prime rib carving station and parmesan chicken! We also had Magic Occasions create our cake and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing! Our guests raved to us about how delicious our amaretto/strawberry filled cake was and I must say that there was not a single piece left at the end of the night! The only hiccup we had was with the bartender that was hired for the event - he honestly didn't seem to know anything about how to make drinks, but the rest of the serving staff was wonderful. I've been told that guests only remember two things from a wedding: the food and the entertainment. Magic Occasions definitely NAILED the food part of our wedding! I would highly recommend them for any event!

Our wedding was Fri May 12th and I can't say enough good things about Angie and Magic Occasions! Angie was so helpful throughout the entire planning process, super patient and a great resource in helping find other vendors. The food was AMAZING, I have people asking me if there were leftovers we took home because they wanted some! WE had them do the cake as well and it (along with the cupcakes) was as BEAUTIFUL as it was delicious! Absolutely recommend them!!

Angie and her team could not have done any more. They went above and beyond what was asked. Her staff were amazing, warm, helpful, happy, and I could go on about how incredible they were. My mother was shocked with the way the wedding staff treated everyone. We hired Magic Occasions for the deluxe wedding buffet, wedding cake, and bartender. We were unable to do any cake/food tastings, but everyone loved the food and I went back for seconds. The lemon pepper pork tenderloin was exactly that…tender. The beef skewers were delicious. The wedding cake came out exactly as I had designed, and the bartender greeted everyone with a smile. Angie, thank you for an amazing night. Highly recommended for any occasion. Budget friendly, professional, and worth every penny.

Angie was so patient and helpful throughout the planning process. My Aunt and my sister went with me for the tasting and we loved everything she presented. The food was even better at the reception and we had guests going back for seconds! The cake was a beauty and Angie had different flavors for each tier. We used fresh flowers for the cake and they were elegantly arranged. The staff was attentive towards my husband and myself, always checking on us and making sure we were enjoying our meal. My husband loved his vegetarian options which was very important to us. If you need a caterer that won't break the bank but will provide amazing food, choose Magic Occasions!

Hands down amazing. We had an anniversary party and they caterer our event. It was amazing from start to finish. They were very professional, very nice, clean food was VERY good. The wait staff were very helpful, we really enjoyed everything. I would defiantly recommend this company to anyone who are looking for a great caterer. Anglea is wonderful and so is her team!!

My wife and I had heard about Magic Occasions from many people. Angela was wonderful to work with, and the team really worked hard to make sure we had a wonderful event. We actually also hired them (not included in this price) to cater our casual rehearsal because we were so impressed with their food and service. We selected the package that gave us the most flexibility in food choices, and everything tasted wonderful! Our package included 3 hot and 3 cold passed hors d'oeuvres, plated salads with 2 dressings, 2 entree choices and 3 sides on a buffet, plus our wedding cake. They also provided our linens, table runners, napkins, barware, bar service, and all non-alcoholic sides and mixers. The only thing that was a slight disappointment was that my wife and I paid our balance in full early as part of our budgeting strategy. When we had a large number of people cancel the month before the wedding, we were unable to get a refund on our reception or rehearsal counts. We chalked that up to the price we paid for having the peace of mind to not have a balance looming over our heads on the day of the wedding. Still, it would have been nice to have been able to get a refund or to have takeaway boxes for all the extra food, especially since I didn't really have much of an appetite at the wedding but was predictably starving later! Otherwise, the food and service was wonderful, and we would definitely use Magic Occasions again.

The decision I'm proudest of (besides the marriage itself) in my wedding is hiring Angie and her AMAZING staff. I had tasted their dishes at my sister's wedding in 2010 and again tried their appetizers at her baby shower in 2012. Still, being the picky perfectionist that I am, when it came to my turn at walking down the aisle I didn't go straight for Magic Occasions despite the over-the-top family referrals. Well, after doing my research and talking to various caterers, I quickly learned my lesson and gained great confidence in my sister's choice for caterer. Magic Occasions Angie's reputation is so tried and true in this town that anyone who's worked in Winter Park events know her name and sings her praises... WITH GOOD REASON. Angie became more than my caterer, the woman basically served as my wedding planner. Thanks to Angie I found a venue, a remarkable rental vendor and she even recommended photographers and dj's. She is a one-stop-shop. Food, linens, bar, and cake -- all by Angie. She was so flexible. I changed my package over three times! I started with appetizers and wound up with a full buffet. Angie basically allowed me to design my own package to fit my exact reception needs. The food was delicious. Guests were delighted at the appetizers and the two main course choices on the buffet. Still, for me, The most remarkable part was my cake. I designed my own cake topper. It was a tree made of three colors of metallic wire with pearl beads as fruit. I showed it to Angie only once. This woman is so talented she managed to convert one of her cake designs to match my design. People oooh'd and ahhh'd at the cake all night... silenced only when finally eating it and they're still raving about the taste. three layers, three different flavors. Just an amazing value considering it was included in the price of the buffet package!!!! To top it all off, one thing I didn't even think of or come to appreciate until the reception, was the service of her staff. Holy cow, these are some sweet, kind, considerate serving gals. They exceeded my expectations, going above and beyond to make us and our guests feel like royalty. How many guests will note, never the less comment, on the service of the catering staff? I am so impressed and will sing Magic Occasion's praises forever.

Good value, linens included, cake is also included which was gorgeous and delicious. Food was not quite as good at wedding as it was during tasting.

I am quite simply envious of Angie's talents at Magic Occassions Catering. She created the most beautiful weddiing cake I have ever seen. It had handmade snowflakes with buttercream icing. The cake looked perfect, and tasted even better. She did a different flavor for each layer. She also did a Groom's Cake with the Rays logo. The cake matched the Ray's logo exactly. My guests are still telling me about how much they enjoyed the cake.

I chose Magic Occasions to do the cakes for my wedding. The only complaint I really have is their responsiveness. the only reason I give them four stars, instead of five. It was easier for me to email them because I was out of state, in school, and working. However, I didn't quite get the timely responses I would have liked. It would also take more time to return a call than it probably should have but I do understand that they are very busy doing catering, cakes, and running a restaurant. Anyway, Angie did meet with my fiance and me for a cake tasting and we loved ALL the flavors and fillings so it was hard to decide... So we chose three different flavors for each tier and she was happy to oblige! She also helped me decide on a groom's cake and flavor secretly so that it would be a surprise to my husband. She did a fondant X-Box and controller which was so cool! My husband and guests loved it! Also, my wedding cake was beautiful and so tasty! We had one layer chocolate, one yellow strawberry, and one pina colada- something for everyone. The prices for these cakes were so reasonable especially for the quality of the cakes and delivery. Everyone was happy with the product! I would have loved to have them cater too but my wedding venue required that we have their catering.

Magic Occasions included the cake in their wedding package and it was perfect for what we had in mind. The cake was so delicious that at the end of the night we took home the left overs and our out of town guests enjoyed the rest of it the next day. (We didn't eat our anniversary cake-that's still in our freezer :))
