Magnolia Creek Ranch

Our experience at Magnolia Creek Ranch for our daughter Meaghan’s wedding was absolutely wonderful. The venue itself is a stunning, well-maintained property set in a peaceful country setting, just a short drive from McKinney. We were able to enjoy an upscale wedding in a relaxed and beautiful environment, which was everything we could have hoped for. The venue offers full access to the entire property as part of the "all-inclusive" package, which included a gorgeous farmhouse where the wedding party stayed. This was a perfect arrangement and made everything much easier and more enjoyable for everyone involved. We held the ceremony outdoors, which was a stunning setting. The venue provided a variety of in-house decor options that worked perfectly with the look the bride and groom wanted. While we had originally planned for the cocktail hour to be held on the large outdoor deck, the wind was a bit much that day. The flexibility to move the cocktail hour into the reception space early was much appreciated, and it worked out beautifully. The reception took place in the charming “barn,” which was also beautifully decorated with selected in-house options. The space worked perfectly for our guests and added to the overall atmosphere of the day. The venue was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and accessible. The staff provided a golf cart shuttle service to transport guests from the parking area, which was a fantastic touch, especially given the long gravel drive. This thoughtful service was much appreciated by our guests. In terms of planning and coordination, we didn’t hire a wedding planner or day-off coordinator, but the communication with the venue owner, Dena, was seamless throughout the planning process. She was always available for questions, made proactive suggestions, and helped us navigate through all the details. On the day of the wedding, the staff was professional, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The vendors included in the all-inclusive package, such as the florist, bartenders, and caterer, were fantastic. The caterer went out of his way to create a delicious vegan option for our guests with special dietary requirements, and the florist did an incredible job crafting beautiful and unique bouquets and non-floral boutonnieres that perfectly matched the couple’s vision. One of the highlights of the venue was the beautiful farmhouse. It was updated, spacious, and clean, with plenty of room for the wedding party and their significant others. It even had a hot tub, pool, and a game room that served as the groom's suite. Staying there for the weekend allowed the wedding party to bond and relax. We added on a couple of extra days and it provided a great space for a casual "day after" get-together with family. Christine, our host, was wonderful, always responsive and quick to solve any minor issues we had (which were mostly our own doing). I would wholeheartedly recommend Magnolia Creek Ranch to anyone planning a wedding or event. The flexibility, professional staff, stunning venue, and all-inclusive package made it an outstanding experience. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location for our daughter's wedding and are already considering using the venue for future events. The entire weekend (and lead up to) exceeded our expectations, and we are grateful for everything Magnolia Creek Ranch provided.

We had our wedding and reception at Magnolia Creek Ranch and simply could not be happier with the accommodations, the amenities, the property itself, and Dena, Christine, and Melinda. Dena and Christine were incredibly responsive from the time I reached out with my initial inquiry to the very end. Both were warm, engaging, and kind, and they bent over backwards to provide initial information, show us the property, and ensure we had a perfect stay at the guesthouse and a perfect wedding ceremony and reception. We opted to stay at the guesthouse Thursday through Sunday. By the time we arrived, the barn had all tables and décor set out and ready for us, and we found a really lovely snack basket and handwritten note on the wet bar in the house. Being able to just walk across the driveway from the house to the barn to set up was incredibly helpful, and that definitely tempered our stress levels since we didn’t have to drive back and forth for days. The house itself had every possible amenity we could need, including a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, soap and shampoo in the showers, and plenty of room for my parents, my sister, her kids, and us. We opted for a home-cooked meal for our rehearsal dinner, and we lacked for nothing in preparing dinner for our guests. Everything we needed to cook for and feed 15 people was right at our fingertips. The house proved comfortable and spacious for all of us. Melinda is worth her weight in gold and then some. She was so warm and accommodating, went out of her way to take care of us, and far, far exceeded my expectations. She was absolutely wonderful, and I can’t imagine having done this without her help. She was never conspicuous and has an uncanny ability to appear out of nowhere right when you need her. The property offers a number of really beautiful spaces for pictures, and we received so many compliments on everything about the setting. We fell in love immediately the first time we visited, so we know exactly what our guests thought of and felt about MCR. It truly was perfect, and if I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a single thing. If you’re considering booking Magnolia Creek Ranch, don’t think too long – just go ahead and do it. You will NOT be sorry. And Dena, Christine, and Melinda, we can’t possibly thank you enough for everything you did to ensure we had an absolutely perfect weekend!

Magnolia Creek Ranch was everything I was looking for and more, under one roof! Working with the staff was so smooth and easy, they held our hand along the way and helped us feel at ease doing whatever they could to make it a great experience! We absolutely fell in love with the venue and farmhouse the very first visit! We booked it the same day. Once the wedding week arrived, it turned out to be even more that we hoped it would be. We loved staying a couple extra days before the wedding with our wedding party, soaking it all in! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat and highly recommend!!

As we searched for a venue for our son's wedding, we knew we wanted a venue for 150 guests and a place for the wedding party to spend the 3-day weekend. The Magnolia Creek Ranch venue was perfect. We loved the ascetics of the 12-acre venue as we drove up the driveway. The staff was so accommodating as we coordinated all the details of the wedding. Their experience and advice in event planning and coordination made for a smooth wedding reception, and a most memorable day. After the reception my son's wedding party shared stories & memories while gazing at the stars around a campfire.

Book this venue! you won't regret it. Their whole team is amazing and Melinda the day of coordinator made the day go soooo smooth. We mostly worked with Dena in the planning process and she was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Couldn't have picked a better group to trust with our big day. I am not a bride but I am a vendor and BIG fan of Magnolia Creek Ranch. The owners are diverse with specialties in weddings, venues and property management. The property is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. The owners know exactly how to put on a gorgeous, well designed wedding. Their vision is beyond amazing! I would absolutely recommend this to brides who are looking for a exclusive feel with property and photo opportunities that are unsurpassed. The fact that you have options to either stay on property or just use the bridal room for getting ready for your big day. Is very inclusive. The home most likely will sleep all your wedding party! Imagine lounging by the pool the day after with your best friends! Spectacular venue. I wish I was getting married, it would be my first choice! You won’t be sorry if you choose Magnolia Creek Ranch!

OMG amazing team...... they saved my wedding. Dena definitely knows what she's doing!!! After she and her partners bought the venue (28 days before my wedding), I discovered that the previous owner did not have things scheduled that should have been. 5 days before my day, I found out that I didn't have bad caterer!!! She worked some magic.... and all the sudden we had Hutchins for 100 people. Yes I said Hutchins...... I never had an empty glass. And ladies, ill tell you, they tough me how to use the restroom in a wedding dress. (You'd never guess how). They are angels. Godsend....... thank you for saving my wedding and just being awesome.
