he food is pretty good as well and the wait staff was nice. Now the negatives. I was told since there was an event the day before that the building “can be opened at any time” the day of so that I could drop of decor and my wedding cake. It was agreed upon 9 am. The day of comes and it is not opened. I was told they don’t normally open until an hour before. How can vendors barely deliver and decorate an hour before. My family waited outside for 2 hours and due to the humidity and heat my cake was destroyed. When someone did arrive to let the kitchen staff in they ignored my family and would not let them in. It took multiple phone calls from me to get results. Not something I should’ve had to deal with on my wedding day. They also lost my cake topper and never told me about the bridal suite. I had to tell them several times in the planning process that the ceremony was somewhere else and that it was only for the reception. They lost the original timeline we sat down and discussed as well. It was agreed I would hire the officer due to the serving of alcohol then they began to ask the officer to direct traffic outside. The officer was hired because of the bar not to direct traffic; which was not discussed previously. I would’ve hired another officer to direct traffic had they discussed that with me. Their systems are antiquated and leave too much room for human error. There were 2 separate occasions where they “lost” my payments and I had to provide proof of payment. I was very disappointed and was completely destroyed to see my wedding cake in salvageable. This is absolutely not a venue for a DIY bride.

acity and provided an example of what I wanted for my wedding, i.e. guest count, ideal date/day, type of event, etc. I got an email back that basically just said 'here's the link to our menu and prices' - no signature, no greeting, no answers to my questions. I find that incredibly rude and unprofessional, ESPECIALLY because the link provided just takes me back to the exact same practically empty page (no menus listed, no prices listed - just a contact form) that I'd used to get in touch the first time.
