I HIGHLY recommend the Magnolia and especially Emily Dohle as the wedding planner for the Magnolia!! Emily was so pleasant and eady to work with!! She is a caring, efficient and professional individual with an eye for details that we did not even think of!! The Magnolia accommodated our wishes and suggestions. The Chef, Adam was fantastic!! Our guests were raving about the food. He was able to make Indian appetizers that were delicious!! In short, it was an absolute pleasure to work with everyone at the Magnolia.

We had our ceremony and wedding reception at Magnolia Hotel and from the moment we chose this as our venue to the planning and execution process Anna and the entire Magnolia team was amazing. The planning process was smooth and painless - Anna really helped us with everything from the smallest detail to the big details. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly, the rooms were beautiful - location is amazing. The hospitality we received from the entire Magnolia team was top notch - they really help execute our special day. If I could do it all over again I would choose Hotel Magnolia all over again - having everything be a one stop shop really made everything so much easier for us - less stress and we were able to just enough the moment.

My husband and I booked the Magnolia for our wedding reception right after we got engaged in 2020. I immediately fell in love with the ballroom. The windows and candles that line the back wall of the reception area give the entire space such a romantic and unique feel, and is the main reason we picked it. After recently having our wedding there, I can say that everything we originally loved about the hotel exceeded all of expectations. From the food, to the hotel staff, the rooms and just the overall atmosphere, everything was flawless. SO many people told us afterwards that it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to, all thanks to the Magnolia. So many thank yous to Anna and her team for giving us the most perfect day that we will always remember.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Magnolia! The venue was historic and romantic, which really set the tone for our whole day! Wow just wow! If you are planning a wedding make sure you move Magnolia to the top of your list! We had our wedding there last week and between a flawless event, service, and guest rooms our days could not have been more perfect.
Our guests raved about the beds, pillows, service, historic hotel features, and the FOOD! That’s right, everyone loved the food! No dry chicken here, simply perfect! How did they do that?!?!!! Everything about our weekend exceeded expectations and I wouldn’t change one thing, so happy!
Anna Hamilton is incredible, she is your one stop shop for an easy and stress free event. Gerry the banquet manager, Chef Chris, Laureen in the restaurant, and Lance the server supreme round out the exceptional service and dream team for your wedding.
A few things to note, and I’ll have to add pictures later...

to work with. She made everything simple and didn’t miss a single detail.
The space is beautiful and accommodated
our ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour for 95 guests just perfectly. We had room to spare with space to lounge, our guests loved it!
The chef offered a vegan paella at our tasting that was by far my favorite. This made all of our veg lovers so happy! They accommodated our request for halal chicken easily and all the food on our buffet was so delish that guests are still raving about it!
The servers and bartender took great care of our guests, everyone was very impressed!
One of my fav things about having our wedding here was the backdrop of a historic hotel made everything romantic and classic.
Did I mention they have one ballroom so you are the ONLY wedding happening and you feel like it too, the service is very personal.
Go now and check out Magnolia you won’t be sorry!

We can't say enough about the gorgeous Magnolia Hotel! From the moment I set foot in the lobby, I knew I wanted to have my wedding there. Once we were booked, Sean and his team made sure every detail was taken care of. From my endless questions and requests, Sean always told me "Not a problem" and made it happen. The day of went so smoothly thanks to Sean and his team. Everything was beautiful and went off without a hitch. The Magnolia is a great place for a wedding because of the boutique feel. It felt like we were the center of the staff's attention for the weekend, and we had this amazing hotel to have our party. Can't thank them enough!

Every detail of our wedding was handled so professionally, and perfectly. I am so thankful to Hannah for helping me in the planning of the wedding, and to Sean for helping execute over the wedding weekend! My wife and I were married at Magnolia in mid-November this year, and even with some last-minute changes, it was a perfect venue. We intended to have the ceremony just outside the hotel on the Post Office Plaza, but it decided to be the coldest/rainiest day of the year that Saturday. Lucky for us, plan B turned out better than we could have imagined and we now even count it as a blessing that we were forced inside. For plan B we did the ceremony in the main lobby of the hotel, with most of the guests above us on the balcony looking down and ~40 chairs set up in the lobby for the older guests and immediate family. It made for a beautiful, intimate ceremony--we'll never forget after we were announced as husband and wife looking up and seeing all our friends and family cheering for us! For the guests, it was nice that it lead right into cocktail hour and then the reception in the main ball room. The reception setup for our ~160 total guests was just right so not to be too packed but make good use of all the space, including a great dance floor for the live band (FatPocket, 5 stars!). Food, service, and bartenders were all incredibly nice and professional. Working with Nikki to plan everything (along with our wedding planner Emily, also 5 stars!) made everything stress-free and easy. My family was all arriving from out of town, so we wanted a venue/hotel downtown so guests didn't need to rent a car for the weekend, and the location was perfect. We are so grateful to Nikki and the Magnolia for being such a fantastic host for our special day!

We had our winter wedding ceremony and reception at the Magnolia Hotel. The space itself is so beautiful and glamorous, it really helped define our theme and vision for the event. Nikki was an amazing coordinator who worked well with other vendors and was always helpful when my OCD kicked in and I asked way too many questions. I would highly recommend Magnolia to any bride and groom.

Our wedding at the Magnolia Hotel was amazing! We seriously had a blast and our guests are still taking about it. We got upgraded to the Carry Grant Suite and it was gorgeous. Nikki was a fantastic coordinator and I couldn’t have done it without her. There was seriously not a single thing for me to worry about on the wedding day. The food and drinks were amazing as well. I can not recommend them enough!

We recently had our daughter's wedding at the Magnolia Hotel. We decided on the outdoor plaza for an early evening wedding and the ballroom for the reception. We could not have been happier with the outcome. Nikki was absolutely wonderful to work with in the months long planning. She was detailed, organized, informative and helpful in every way. All the guests, many of whom stayed at the hotel commented on the hotel's staff and accommodations which made their weekend perfect as a visitor to the city and a guest at the wedding. I highly recommend this venue as a perfect setting for a wedding.

This is a dream wedding venue!!! I️ was hesitant on a hotel venue but wanted one for my guests convenience. The Magnolia is not your typical hotel. Definitely a top notch Boutique Hotel. The Magnolia is very chic, from bar to lounge to ballroom. Minimal decorations were needed to add to the ambiance. All the guests commented on its glam!! Nikki the event coordinator was truly a god send!!! 100% made the experience so much less stressful coordinating every little detail...a wedding planner extraordinaire....super on top of it! We did the three food stations (best decision) and ceremony on the plaza. All of the guests commented how cool and unique the whole wedding was. We can’t wait to celebrate our anniversary here in the Carry Grant suite!!! Thank you Magnolia Staff it was PERFECT !!!

We blocked some rooms here for our guests and for me and my now husband. The rooms were beautiful and check-in, valet, and room service were extremely nice. However, we did have issues with one of the bartenders in the hotel. She was extremely rude to our photographer and our wedding party. It really made me angry that she could talk to people the way she did. Also, it is a little pricey as well.

We used the Magnolia as one of our hotel rooms blocks. My husband I and also stayed here for our wedding night. The staff was wonderful and quick to accommodate. My mom called to reserve the bar for an after party and the bar staff was phenomenal. We ordered late night Imo's and helped to accommodate this as well. Not to mention the suite was gorgeous! Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I had our wedding here on 9/16/17. Our guests raved about everything from the service to the food to the decor. Everything was perfect. Nikki Sydlow went above and beyond for us and so did the other staff. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The chefs were accommodating with our special requests and the food couldn't have been better. This hotel will go out of their way to make sure your special day is memorable and the best ever. I highly recommend Nikki Sydlow and the Magnolia!

My husband and I were married and had our reception at the Magnolia on June 10, 2017. The venue itself is gorgeous, old world glamorous from the ballroom to the rooms. However, like other reviewers have stated, what really sets the Magnolia above other venues is the exceptional service from the employees. I cannot thank Nikki enough for her outstanding organization, prompt responses, and meticulous attention to detail (among her numerous other planning skills!). She truly was like having a good friend help professionally plan our wedding. Nikki, Kristen, and everyone at the Magnolia were friendly, professional, and eager to please. Every single staff member made us feel special! Chef Chris accommodated the changes we wanted for the meals, and made sure to prepare the tasting accordingly. We enjoyed every moment of our wedding day because Nikki and the Magnolia staff had everything covered. We are so grateful for the positive experience, and are looking forward to many anniversary stays - and hopefully weddings of friends and family members to relive our day!

We had our reception at the Magnolia, and it was better than we could have dreamed. The atmosphere in the hotel was exactly what we were looking for, and those chandeliers really set the tone for the event. Having Robie's right there for our guests to relax and have a drink between the ceremony and the reception was so convenient as well.
Besides the location itself, Nikki was perfection to work with. I consider myself to be a bit of a control freak, and she made it so easy to hand over the reins that day. She was super organized and professional, but offered her opinions anytime I asked. By the end of the process I felt like I had planned the day with an old friend! The entire staff was amazing throughout the whole weekend. I was greeted and congratulated by everyone whether I had met before them before or not. Every member of the staff knew who we were, and they were ready to jump into help with anything at a moment's notice. The entire experience was unbelievable!

The Magnolia Hotel completely exceeded our expectations in every way! Nikki and her team were phenomenal! They communicated every step of the way. As a bride I did not have any worries the whole wedding weekend. Everything was simply gorgeous. We got married April 22, 2017 and it was by far the best space to share vows, eat, and celebrate. All of our friends and family continue to rave about what a great time they had and how nice everything was. The hotel staff was very courteous and professional and our rooms were simply beautiful. We cannot wait to stay here again to create more memories!!!!

The rooms were so reasonably priced, the hotel staff was amazing and accommodating, and the hotel is gorgeous!! The perfect place for our first look. I first want to thank Nikki and Kristen for all of their help in the few weeks leading up to our wedding. I had signed a contract a year and a few months before our wedding with the hotel and a few weeks before our event, the person who we were working with had left to another company. Come to find out the hotel had changed some things and our vendor contact had given us outdated information and even wrong information. Thankfully, Nikki and Kristen were able to help us figure it out and help us have an exceptional wedding. Thank you ladies. The food is beyond wonderful and I could not say enough about the exceptional chef and wait staff. They were not to quick to clean up the tables and our guests never felt rushed. I would recommend this venue but I would say that you have to see the tower to really appreciate what is here.

Absolutely perfect! The Magnolia Hotel went above and beyond our expectations to help celebrate our gorgeous wedding day! We had booked the hotel long before the renovations were completed and it couldn't have turned our more beautiful, the lobby, the chandeliers, each little detail combines a modern look with a vintage feel. Alen was there for us every step in the planning process and was extremely helpful! Both of our families were from out of town so having the reception and hotel together was very important for us. I heard nothing but compliments on the professionalism of the staff and the accommodations! As far as the reception the food received raving reviews, the set-up was immaculate, and the service throughout the night was friendly and attentive. I can't say enough about all the great work the staff put in to make our wedding day special and have no hesitation recommending Alen and his team for your wedding day too!

We fell in love with the Magnolia when we toured the hotel about a year before our wedding. It was everything we wanted for our day: classy, simple, elegant and beautiful! We hosted our wedding reception there on June 25, 2016. All of the staff was courteous and helpful, especially Alen Mrkic. The day would not have been as amazing as it was without his help! He was there throughout each step of the planning process and answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly, which was extremely helpful as we planned from out of state. He was a great resource for any question we had about our wedding and had a genuine enthusiasm for making our day special. He has such a positive energy which definitely translates to the events he hosts! All of our guests complimented the food and service provided at our reception. The Cary Grant suite was also lovely, a perfect place to steal a quiet moment before the reception. Thank you to the Magnolia for a truly amazing evening!

So happy we chose Magnolia Hotel for our wedding reception venue! I LOVE chandeliers so walking into the entryway was spectacular! We had a lot of out of town guest so having the reception in a hotel made it super easy to for guest to easily know where to go and rest in between the ceremony at the church and the reception. Alen was wonderful and answered all of my questions leading up to the big day and was available on the day of for even more questions. He always said it is your day, make it how you want! We could change things up on the menu, layout the ballroom how we wanted, and add in all the little details to make it the perfect day!

I cannot even begin to explain how happy my husband and I were with our services at the Magnolia. We had our ceremony and reception at the hotel. The coordinator, Alen Mrkic is hands down the reason our day was so perfect. He was quick and kind to answer ALL of my questions. The day ran beautifully and smoothly because of him. The best part is that he comes with the booking of the Magnolia's event space. He should be an extra charge for everything he did!! The hotel is absolutely stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. We received a room upgrade (from our already free room) to the Cary Grant Suite. It was a classy and gorgeous room that we used for our first look and several intimate photos of just us two. I promise, you will not be sorry if you go with the Magnolia.

My new husband and I had our wedding reception here after getting married at St. Francis Xavier College Church on April 2, 2016. We had a perfect day, everything went off without a hitch. The event manager Alen, made himself completely available to us all weekend and even got us the most beautiful luxurious suite in the whole hotel for our wedding night, the Cary Grant Suite. It was complimentary on our wedding night. The food at the reception was delicious and the wait staff were polite and efficient. And the pictures we got back from our photographer in the lobby of the hotel with those gorgeous chandeliers were STUNNING. The Magnolia Hotel gave us the most perfect weekend for us and our guests.

We got married and had our reception here on Thanksgiving weekend. We are very glad we decided to go with Magnolia Hotel. The staff was excellent and very professional. The catering/even manager Alen Mrkic was awesome. He took care of all of our needs and did a great job working/coordinating with our wedding planner and other vendors. He even got us a "gift" for our wedding weekend. We are very grateful to him and the staff. Highly recommended.

having our wedding at the magnolia hotel was so incredible. Alen was a pleasure to work with and was clearly an experienced event provider. He communicated thoroughly with our wedding planner and made sure that everything we wanted was manifested. The venue was so beautiful that we literally did not even leave the location to take pictures. We also had a hotel block and all of the guests who used it were thrilled with the accommodation. Staying in the Cary Grant suite the night of our wedding was perfect. I had had another venue booked when we found Magnolia and I took the chance and gambled on losing the deposit at the first place to be here. no regrets whatsoever.

First of all, I couldn't have imagined our special day anywhere else but The Magnolia Hotel! Everything was PERFECT! It was simple, elegant, and classy. Everything I ever wanted our wedding to be!
