It’s just right for weddings. you don’t have to do much to it. They also provide you with a long list of vendors you can use and you can use their DJ in your package. Friends and family were amazed at how calm we seemed (outwardly!) in the planning of our wedding. Sue and her team made it easy. If you’ve envisioned your wedding day down to the smallest detail, Magnolia plantation will help you make that happen. And if you have a limited view of your wedding day, they will help you develop your vision. They can work with you trust me. We had an african wedding and needed specific details that other venues didn't want to do, but magnolia plantation took us on. They worked with us and gave us the traditional african wedding we have always dreamed of. They were readily available to answer any questions or concerns we had and we never waited more than a day to respond (especially important for the nervous bride!). Sue coordinated, and was present on the day of our wedding and assisted us in making sure everything was in order. Our Wedding day team, Denise the Dj and all the servers that worked alongside Sue were fantastic. They were extremely attentive, made sure our wedding party was well taken care of and kept them and guests on time and happy. This allowed my groom and I to relax (as much as one could on their wedding day!) and enjoy without worry. We knew that we had chosen the right Wedding venue when we first met Sue, but our guests confirmed it by saying how good Magnolia Plantation was and how they managed our wedding day so seamlessly! s. Sue, Colette, and the entire staff were absolutely phenomenal. I didn't have to worry about a single thing the night of the wedding, and even before that. Colette made sure everything I needed was taken care of before the wedding and she was very reassuring to make sure we had everything done and that everything was there and ready to go. I never had an empty glass, the staff was so great providing both my husband and I, as well as our parents, with drinks and food whenever we needed something. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is and how wonderful the staff is, but I don't think I will have enough space to write in here. My family has used Magnolia Plantation before for previous weddings, and I'm sure we will continue to work with them for years to come. Sue and the other cast of hostesses, bartenders, and waiters waited "hand and foot" on me and my guests all evening long. As soon as the bridal party stepped out of the limousine, they greeted us and made sure that we were all calm, cool, and collected. While we waited for the ceremony to begin, they brought in champagne and any other drinks we requested. They made sure that EVERYONE was in the right place at the right moment. (When they tell you that you really don't need a rehearsal, trust them!) When the flower girl started to cry, they calmly took her by the hand and helped her regain her composure--without missing a beat. They made sure that all the guests (especially the parents of the bride and groom) had all the food and drinks they could bear to consume. At the end of the evening, they even packed TO GO bags of food for us AND for each of our parents! [Who does that?!!!] I can't tell you how grateful my husband and I were when we got back to our hotel and found ourselves FAMISHED after 3 solid hours of PARTYING. I am extremely grateful to Magnolia Plantation for making my dream wedding come true, but the REAL TEST came when my husband gave his assessment of the evening. To this day, he continues to say that we had "The Wedding of the Century" (and as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps, his standards and penchant for detail are a little higher than that of the average civilian). If you are looking for an elegant venue at a very reasonable price, look no further. NOWHERE else will you find a comparably priced package that INCLUDES the cost of: unlimited alcoholic beverages served by professional bartenders; an unlimited buffet of Cajun-Creole food and hors d'oeuvres CONTINUOUSLY served by an attentive wait staff; table linens, chair ties, crystal table decor, floral arrangements, china, flatware, cake stand, cake knives, toasting flutes; a Day-Of Coordinator that TREATS YOU LIKE FAMILY; AND a professional DJ who KNOWS how to keep the party jumping!!!

On our wedding day, our personal attendant Dee made sure that both my husband and myself had everything that we needed, including something to eat. She made sure our glasses were always full, and made sure to check in frequently with all of our parents and their spouses. Dee made sure that all of our accessories (champagne flutes, cake cutter, etc) were cleaned and given to my mother at the end of the night, and our photo books, my bridal portrait, and our guest sign, all were packaged and in beautiful condition when we got them home. The food, drinks, and all of the well-trained wait staff left nothing to be desired. I did not even need a wedding planner because the staff at Magnolia Plantation was so on the ball. I highly recommend this venue for their exceptional quality of service.

he easiest part. We contacted Magnolia plantation and immediately received an email with the prices and what the venue had to offer. They have a package that caters to every brides needs. The venue offered alcohol, DJ, food , table settings ect. We knew this was the venue we wanted to get married at. In the mist of booking the venue, we had a family tragedy. The venue knew we were wanting to book with them and kindly held our spot for a couple weeks. I knew that the wedding must go on and I gathered our parents to visit the venue. My cousin got married at Magnolia Plantation a couple years prior and she kept telling me that Ms. Sue was awesome to work with. When I met Ms. Sue, I felt like she was family, and that I could trust her with making our wedding day special . That same day we signed the contract with Magnolia Plantation and had zero regrets. Post Booking: Throughout the year Magnolia Plantation staff has kept in touch with me via email regarding venue updates. I was allowed to pop up at the venue if I was in the neighborhood at the time, I was also able to call the venue at any time of the day and was confident that Ms. Sue or Ms. Collete answer the phone and if I was to get a voicemail, they would call me back immediately. They truly make sure all the brides needs are met. Rehearsal: Thursday July 7th,2016. We had a bridal party that consisted of 11 bridemaids, 14 groomsmen and 5 children. So trying to get everyone to line up correctly was hectic until Ms. Sue took charge helped me plan the perfect setup for the bridal party. She was very patient with us and allowed us to stay until everything was perfect. I was able to drop off all the wedding decorations and wedding favors that day. The staff sets up everything the day of the wedding, which took stress off of me. Wedding Day: The groomsmen arrived to the venue an hour a head of time and the staff allowed them to stay inside and wait. I told the guys not to be late and I guess they figured showing up early would be safer than being stuck in traffic. As I arrived on a bus, Magnolia Plantation staff stopped all guest from entering to allow the girls and I sneak into the bridal room. I loved this because we didn't want anyone seeing me in my dress. We were treated like royalty as we waited in the bridal room. Throughout the reception my husband kept saying he felt like a king. He was truly excited that Ms. Sue and her lovely staff catered to him all night. His champagne glass was never empty and that kept a smile on his face. Once we finished dancing we were amazed to see everything was cleaned up, that shows us that the staff members were on top of things. All of the leftovers; food, cake, and decorations were already packed up and was brought out to the car for us. The staff members deserve to be recognized for being so professional. The food was amazing. The staff was so great and my drink was always full. Every guest I spoke with talked about how beautiful everything turned out. I also spoke with the groom's parents and they were blown away with how easy this was for us compared to what they went through with their daughter's wedding (which cost a good bit more than Magnolia and included less). Sue is the ABSOLUTE best, she worked with me even when I had to pay for the extra guest who decided to show up on the day of the wedding. Sue and her staff are phenomenal and made my dream come true! Dee, the attendant for myself and my groom, was always there to refill our drinks, help me change my shoes, and guide me where I needed to be during the event. All of my guest raved about the food, drinks, and music. The DJ, Brian, was amazing and the dance floor was never empty, even the bartenders were dancing behind the bars!! You will not be disappointed with this choice! I'm still receiving compliments 2 weeks later!

They make you feel so comfortable with everything where I didn't have one stress about my reception. There is no need for a wedding coordinator or planner with Magnolia! They do it all for you, you just show up for a good time! All our guest still keep telling me how great the venue looked and how good the food was. I was told that all the pass around foods didn't stop and there was plently of seating of over 260 people! I highly recommend!
