We booked Main Events for the tent and chair rentals at our wedding. They were wonderful! Their customer service was excellent and they provided good recommendations on how/what to reserve ahead of time so that we were covered.

The lady that runs the Counter at main events pretty much makes it worth shopping there. Personally I thought the rental prices were high, but there were some things we needed to get there and what was nice was that we did add a few things for the wedding a few days before and they were more than accommodating.
We rented chairs and tables from this company. They seemed a little overpriced but were convenient in location and very flexible in the numbers of tables/chairs needed.
The product was great and the price was very reasonable for a large tent. It was the best I could find in the Columbus area. The only problem with Main Events was the interaction and service. They were not easy to get ahold of, they weren't very accommodating, and their communication was slow. If their customer service was better I would've given a 5 star because the equipment and setup was great!
I completely agree with the low reviews on here. After receiving a very poor, stained, rough looking tent from them I received an arrogant and condescending response from them, much like the ones posted in responses on here. Totally unnecessary. While a simple "sorry" would have sufficed, they instead decided to try and bully me into thinking I was stupid for wanting a clean tent. POOR customer service.
I would give this place 5 stars, if it weren't for their customer service. The tent was great, everything was where it should be and on time. But I found Terri to be abrasive and unhelpful. She gave me terse, one word answers, even via email, and she was simply not personable. On our first visit to the showroom, she was sarcastic to me about my lack of knowledge about what I even needed to know for the rental. I almost walked out. Now maybe every time I had to speak with her or correspond with her she was having an off day, I don't know, but I was just very put off by her demeanor. I see that on other bad reviews, she comes back defensively, and I am expecting that, but maybe there can be some learning for her in this somewhere, too. Best of luck.
My mom and I made the "hike" up to Newark to view their rental equipment and it was worth the trip. This company is cheaper than most in the Columbus area but has excellent quality items.
Teri is the manager and she and I spoke on the phone about guest #, size of tents, chairs, etc.
We ordered 3 tents, tables, 175 chairs, and a stage for a band from them and the quality of the materials was excellent. Their staff set up the tents perfectly and worked well with our venue (and with my vision) to find the best set up locations for each.
Teri helped me make last minute adjustments based on change in guest # and rent an additional tent and stage due to all the extra rain we've had this summer.
I absolutely recommend this vendor. Do travel to Newark to see the main materials though - the 2nd cheapest chairs were the most comfortable in our opinion.

Main Events has a very large and diverse inventory. They let us make payments. They delivered our orders exactly when they said they would and set everything up very quickly and efficiently. Everything was clean and that saved us a lot of time and hassle. We will definitely be using them for our next event!
We were able to get everything we needed, tents, chairs and even trash cans for our outdoor reception. The delivered a day early and were easy to work with. We opted for no set up of the chairs and tables (fee is a bit ridiculous if you are able to do it yourself but we only had 50 chairs so we could)
We rented our stage and stairs from Main Events and they were perfect, but we also rented large evaporative coolers to use in case of hot weather and they did not work properly and leaked everywhere and we were not able to use them. We were told that they worked fine on the last rental and that was it. They delivered everything early, which was great, but it was tuesday before they picked everything up, luckily we were able to work around that, but it would be nice to have a set pick up time.
They had perfect timing. Quick setup and easy break down. With the reception at the house we needed comfortable tables and chairs. They were it! And they looked great doing it!
The staff at Main Events was very helpful. Teri showed me all of the linen color choices and even gave me samples of the linens to color match. The linens were ready before 10 am on Friday for my reception on Saturday, and I did not have to rerturn them until Monday. They also included extra linens at no charge. The negative about my linen rental was that the linens came in totes and they were folded neatly, but the fold lines were very apparent even with my venue dimmly lit. My dark blue linens had some large stains, but once my centerpieces were on the tables, the stains were not noticable. The prices for linens were reasonable, and I will most likely use them again.
A little pricey but they were very helpful and has a large inventory.
I rented all of my tables and chairs, dance floor and ceremony alter from Main Events. The day before the wedding the guy that works there (VERY NICE MAN) called to see where I wanted my dance floor to be set up... at that time we were planning for an outdoor ceremony and reception. When I arrived to my location I noticed that the Quarter Round tables that I ordered were not quarter round they were quarter serpentine tables (not what I wanted). Also, one of the guest tables was bowed and needed to be replaced.
The next morning I woke up and watched the weather channel like any bride would who was planning an outdoor wedding and saw that there was rain headed our way. I called them and left them a Voice mail before they were even open to tell them that the dance floor needed to be moved inside (b/c it was a locking dance floor that we could not move ourselves) and informed them of the incorrect and damaged tables that needed to be replaced.
5 Days after the wedding I receive a bill from Main Events detailing a $75 late fee. I called them immediately to see why I was charged this. Immediately the Terri was rude to me and raised her voice to me when I questioned the charges. I asked her not to yell at me and she calmed down for a minute. Then she again raised her voice when explaining that they charged me $75 for them having to come out last minute to move the dance floor. I tried to explain to her why we had to have them come out (not to mention they had to come out anyway to replace the incorrect and damaged tables) but she wouldn't let me talk and just yelled over me. Extremely rude... good luck with this place hopefully you don't have any last minute changes or they don't mess up your order. In the end you will have to pay for it.
There was a few problems with my order but they more than made up for it. I did not even have to ask for an adjust to my bill or anything they said they would take care of the problem and adjust my bill no questions asked. Great customer service.
