Main Street Cafe & Catering

We used Main Street Cafe and Catering for our wedding at Sugar Hollow Retreat. We could not have asked for better service! The food was delicious, and the staff was very accommodating and professional. They were responsive, efficient, and had outstanding quality. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for special event catering!

We used Main Street Café and Catering for our wedding in October 2022, as they were highly recommended for special events. Upon arrival for our tasting at the restaurant, it was disclosed they had completely forgotten about our scheduled tasting, resulting in us having to wait for an extended period of time to receive any food. Because they were honest and the food was delicious, we opted to move forward with their services with recognition that mistakes happen. Unfortunately, we found it challenging to communicate with their restaurant and catering personnel throughout the planning process. We had to request several rounds of revisions on the contract itself. On wedding day, they did arrive on time with our food exactly as requested. Our guests raved about the appetizers of a spinach dip and assorted cheeses with crackers. The main meal itself tasted very good, though several guests later disclosed that much of the food was room temperature or cold when they went through the line. Breelyn and her staff worked well with us to customize the menu. We chose pulled pork barbecue, grilled chicken breasts with different dipping sauces, roasted potatoes, an Italian pasta salad, and cole slaw for the buffet dinner. We liked that they packaged all leftovers and allowed us to take home the extra food. There was some miscommunication and confusion when it came to cake cutting and the need to return various items to our cake supplier, with the staff taking items that they were directed to put in a separate bag for us to return to our cake place. Overall, we were satisfied with Main Street but wouldn’t describe it to be an outstanding or exceptional experience.

Breelyn and the team at Main Street did such an amazing job catering our wedding! Everyone raved about the food, and Breelyn was wonderful to work with. She was super responsive and helped us create a menu that fit with what we wanted - BBQ, truly great vegetarian options, and lots of fresh seasonal foods. Not only was the food amazing, Breelyn’s team is super professional and knows what they’re doing. My day-of wedding coordinator who is a professional chef was highly complimentary of how the team managed the event. Thank you Main Street - you were awesome!

If you're anywhere within Main Street's delivery area, you need to be checking them out!! We probably had over 50 people at our wedding talk about the food, and how it was probably the best food at any wedding they were at. We had Main Street do our Wedding Reception & Rehearsal Dinner, and both were fantastic. We did BBQ for the Rehearsal Dinner, and man...they know what they're doing. They got that BBQ about an hour away without drying it out, and the smoky flavor in the pork was excellent. For the wedding, don't overlook the chicken parm, and if you're a beef fan, go for the roast beef medallions!! They were so good, and we didn't even need a knife for them, because they were so well done. Another reason they're so great is because they can be a 1-stop shop for you. We did 2 dinners, a cake, glassware, apps, and a bartender from the same spot, and that's pretty incredible. Not having to follow up with 4 different vendors just for the Reception is incredible in itself, but the service and the attention to detail for everything almost outpaced the quality of their food. Absolutely recommend!!!
