Thank you so much to Robyn and Heather for truly bringing our vision to life with event design and florals! They truly elevated the event and made our venue (Brick South) look magical. They were so easy to work with for the months leading up to the wedding, always answering quickly and clearly. Robyn connected me to Heather for floral help in a pinch when I needed bouquets and ceremony arrangements added on, and she took my inspiration photo and nailed it. We used Maine Events Design & Decor for the canopy lights and also our florals. We had seen the canopy lights in our venue and knew they just lit up the room and added a touch of elegance that we absolutely wanted. While going through the quote for the lights, we learned that they also did florals which was a lovely surprise as having the least number of people to coordinate with ahead of the wedding was key. We didn't fully know what we wanted for florals other than general color scheme concepts - Heather on their team did an amazing job bringing out half baked vision to life. She was professional and knowledgeable. The florals were absolutely stunning!! We would certainly recommend Maine Event Design & Decor for the canopy lights and their florals!

We are so grateful to have worked with Robyn at Maine Event Design and Decor. To say she was one of the most important vendors for our wedding would be an understatement. We chose a wedding venue that was more or less a blank slate to enact our vision and Robyn helped that vision become a reality. She helped transform the space into the boho rustic vibe of our (my) dreams. The disco balls were just the cherry on top. My husband and I worked with Robyn and her team for our lighting needs for our wedding at Brick South in Portland this past October. Robyn was generous with her time and so helpful in laying out her services and our options. She worked within our budget and helped us prioritize what was most impactful for our space and vision. When inclement weather unfortunately damaged some of the chandeliers we’d planned for, Robyn jumped into action to get new chandeliers in time for the wedding and clearly communicated throughout. I could not recommend Robyn and her team more - the lighting was outstanding and she was lovely to work with.

She was transparent about pricing and worked with me through a hiccup on the venues end to ensure we were still able to achieve our vision but without an unexpected additional cost. Maine event design and decor did a fabulous job at my wedding. I got married at Coolidge Family Farm in New Gloucester, ME and they have a lighting and design package that is phenomenal for that space! They were kind, professional, efficient and did a fantastic job for my wedding on 7/15/23. I would highly recommend their services for any event!

Robyn and team are the best! We were so lucky to tour a venue with the 'starry night' lights and instantly fell in love. We originally wanted a tent wedding and ended up with an indoor reception, but this totally made the vibe soft and romantic. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the decor. They have lots and lots of options for you to customize the look you want, and they work with vendors so you don't have to worry about a thing. Do it, you won't regret it!

Maine Event Design & Décor/Robyn Weathers was fabulous for the lighting and draping at our wedding. We had the wedding in a barn and my vision of what we wanted in the barn, in the attached tent, and at the doors to the barn were very specific. Robyn fulfilled every request we had and then some. People at the wedding commented on the canopy lighting, the himmeli-geometric décor lighting with hanging greenery as well as all the string lighting in the tent and the draping in the barn. Robyn was always easy to reach by email and phone and she responded nearly immediately when contacted. This was in contrast to Griffin & Griffin, with whom we first started. Unresponsive was only the beginning of our problems with Griffin & Griffin. We had a phone call set up at noon on a weekday. The bride, who was in a high pressure job, had only ½ hour available from 12:00pm to 12:30pm for this call which was set up well in advance and with two emails confirming the phone meeting. We also had an email from them saying that they would call us at noon. No call came. Finally, 15 minutes later, we managed to find a phone number (since they were not responding to our calls at their business number nor to emails in those 15 minutes) of one of their private numbers. Their response was “oh, yeah, we are so busy with our customers….” We told them, having already paid a deposit, “but we RE one of your customers.” It was clear that, in spite of asking for our wedding Instagram, they had never looked at the Instagram photos and never read any of the emails in which we outlined what we were looking for. That caused us to switch (even though we had already paid a deposit) to Maine Event Design & Décor. We are so thankful that we did.

We hired Maine Event D&D to do canopy lighting around the dining room and over our dance floor. They were responsive, easy to work with and ultimately delivered exactly what we hoped! I would highly recommend Robyn and the team!

We had originally hired Robyn to install cafe lighting in our clear-top tent for our summer 2020 wedding. When our wedding was rescheduled for 2021, the tent structure at our venue was upgraded (with cafe lighting!) so we had some flexibility in our budget for my Pinterest decor dreams to come true. The only issue was - we found this out about a week out from our wedding. Robyn delivered in a PINCH - sending over ideas and options within our originally planned budget. She installed show-stopping Edison bulb chandeliers in the barn over our dance floor & over the head table in our dinner tent - with only a few days lead time. We hired Robyn and her team at Maine Event Design and Décor for a simple lighting package for our October 2021 wedding in Portland, ME. Robyn was usually quick to respond to questions over email, suggested other local vendors for services she didn't offer (like lounge furniture), and her team was prompt with set-up and break-down. No complaints!

Robyn reached out to us about lighting for our wedding as she was doing another event at our venue the weekend before ours and wanted to see if we were interested in doing a similar design. Robyn was so pleasant to work with and the lighting installations she did for our wedding tent and barn were just beautiful. We also had a number of paper lanterns that we asked Robyn to hang from the top of the tent, and her placement of the lanterns was exactly what we had envisioned. We hired this company to decorate the ceremony/reception place! she did such a good job!! the only problem was that one of the sets of lights didn't work!
