I’m only giving a 3 due to lack of communication. Drinks and set up was great no issue there!! My issue is communication. I understand vendors are busy but if your busier than normal communicate this to your clients. First I was told I would get my bar calculations by a certain time and it came in a couple months after. More so annoying when supplying your own alcohol to find deals. Second, Tuesday the week of my wedding I asked about payment and sent over everything I bought. I didn’t get an email back till Saturday 1:38am (the day of the wedding). I was not looking at my phone like most brides. During dinner one of the bartenders asked me about payment. I became extremely stressed and anxiety kicked in. The bartenders later told me I could pay on Sunday. I signed a contract so this should not have been brought up on my wedding day and she could have discussed with me on Sunday or communicate earlier.

Do not recommend hiring this bartending service for a wedding. Booked with them and paid the deposit to secure their services. The owner became unresponsive, not replying to emails or returning a phone call as my wedding became closer. It caused unnecessary stress for my fiancé and I towards the end of our wedding planning process. We decided two months out from our wedding with virtually no contact from the owner in months that it was time to go our separate ways. After reaching out to the owner and letting her know, we would like to cancel services I was left very surprised to be told that, “I don’t need to cancel services with them, and that if you've found another less expensive bar company to work with, that's your choice.” After, disregarding my reasoning for firing their services I considered their company to be very unprofessional. Very disappointed.

his company. I apologized in my reply for the slower than normal correspondence, however, there was still no need to cancel. You didn't give me the opportunity to explain and just cancelled. We were on track, your staff was scheduled, insurance was in place, ice was ordered. The three other weddings I had on your day went off amazingly and couples understood. I again apologize.

Highly recommend Misty and her team! We had fired our original bar service vendor due to lack of communication among many other things. So glad we took the plunge and hired Maine Mixologists. Misty was professional and knowledgeable during the planning process, and the bartenders that she sent for our wedding were AMAZING. They were all so kind, fun and accommodating. One even noticed I was hot & sweaty from running around, and started fanning me while they had down time. So thoughtful and considerate. We are so glad we used them!

Misty and her team know what they are doing! I know wedding planning can be stressful but fear not she will give you any and all information you need to have one unreal party. Our signature drinks were perfect and so refreshing, our bartenders were AWESOME! The second they saw me or my husband they were right there asking if we needed anything. Everything was so smooth and effortless. I cannot thank Misty and her team enough!!

We recently hired Misty and her team to bartend our wedding and could not be happier with their service! Misty was so organized and thought of all the small details that are needed to have a successful event. She was very timely and even provided links to materials we might want. The day of the wedding the servers were professional and friendly! They were set up and ready to go way before the event started. Towards the end of the night we were beginning to run out of the vodka for the signature drink (which was my favorite) and they made sure they saved some for me to have throughout the night. This little thoughtful detail really stood out to me!

Misty and her team were excellent. Misty was great at advising us on how to handle alcohol in cost-effective ways. She helped hook us up with a liquor distributor that allowed us to return what we didnt use which really helped us with saving money (especially because our wedding got shut down an hour early due to a broken pipe...but thats another story). Misty also was great in recommending more environmentally friendly options. We took her recommendation of giving our guests mason jars as their glass for the night which helped save us money and feel better about not putting one thousand plastic cups into the trash. Misty is great at what she does and would highly recommend her team at Maine Mixologist!

Using Maine Mixologist helped us save a lot of money on alcohol and the bartenders were phenomenal. The drinks were delicious and service was top notch. The planning process was smooth for the most part, but we did have some issues. The week of the wedding we were told they changed the recipe for one of our signature cocktails, after we had special ordered a mixer that we could not return. We were also pushed to buy a lot of Miller Lite, knowing our guests would not drink it. Sure enough, our guests did not drink it, but the bartenders had opened every case we purchased, meaning we could not return it. We were later told by friends who are bartenders that there was no reason to open so many cases of beer, especially since the bartenders were aware that we wanted to return things that weren’t consumed. I was also a little peeved that we paid for gratuities in our contract, and the bartenders put out tip jars anyway. Ultimately, we got what we paid for and our guests enjoyed the bar service, but definitely things for future couples to be aware of in your planning.

Misty and her team were great! My wife and I hired Maine Mixologist for our 150 person wedding on a local island (accessible by ferry). The Maine Mixologist team coordinated this seamlessly and provided incredible service during our wedding. Misty was also a great help planning the alcohol selection and purchase. We wanted to supply our own alcohol and Maine Mixologist made this possible. We'd highly recommend!

Great service. The bartenders and servers did an amazing job. Everyone had a fantastic time. We were so pleased with how everything turned out. The taps we rented for our kegs (from a totally different company - NOT Maine Mixologist, ended up not working and they made sure everything went smoothly despite the unexpected. Thank you!

Phenomenal group of individuals who had provided exceptional service to me and my wife. While planning a wedding through a pandemic, Maine Mixologists were right there by our side, willing to help us with anything we needed. Also, they had really helped us develop a tasteful bar menu for our day and the signature drinks were an absolute smash. Lastly, when it came to customer service, we were extremely pleased. On the day of the wedding, the bartenders had focused on all guests, until the bride came around. They would stop everything to make sure she was taken care of and we both really appreciated that. We would definitely recommend this vendor for any event!

Of six bartenders at a wedding, only one was congenial and professional. There were kegs of beer that guests were unaware could be consumed, instead the bartenders promoted bottles. The bride and groom were stuck with lots of unusable keg beer. This company is disorganized and did not suggest the bride and groom purchase the right quantities for the groom’s feature drink.

Afternoon! I worked with the groom in great detail on their wedding and provided industry...
standard calculations which they had the right to slide and did so accordingly. As a company that's been operating for 8+ years I always tell my couples that you never know what guests are going to drink and can only provide a great balance of everything which we did. All of my staff is superior and got raving reviews from all your guests. The wedding was a blast and everyone left happy including the bride & groom! :) We work on 75-90 wedding per year and always get amazing compliments, thank you cards, and requests for certain bartenders who worked this wedding. The day was beautiful in more ways than one.
