banquet hall and the adjoining fireside room which opens to create a large ballroom that gave our guests room to mingle during cocktail hour without having to be right on top of the tables. We had about 175 people and a large silent auction set up in the fireside room. The team at MO was amazing to work with from our initial tour to the tasting to coming in multiple times the event to talk over details and get a feel for how we would set up. They were quick with responses, worked with us on our requests, and were right there for the whole event to help keep everything running smoothly. Even when the main event manager we were working with had to travel out of town shortly before our event, she communicated with us the timeline and her team was there to step in and was fully prepared to handle all the details and did a wonderful job. The food was delicious and we were able to bring in individual desserts from multiple vendors for a dessert table. The space is beautiful on its own and a neutral enough palette it can easily be decorated to fit most any style. We did a Gatsby theme so lots of black, gold, feathers, and pearls and it had a very elegant and vintage feel. I also saw it set up beautifully at our tasting with autumn colors and florals which looked very beautiful.

rs at the venue, which I have also realized is common in this industry. Aurora was the venue coordinator AND Sales manager for the last couple of months and our big day, and I am SO thankful she was. Aurora is on top of her game and helped make our big day THE BEST DAY! We also worked with Pam, who was fabulous as well. Together they are the dream team. Aurora and Pam were both very responsive to emails. The food and the serving staff were amazing, they washed all of our chargers (rented from elsewhere) without even asking! The venue also held on to some stuff we couldn’t fit in vehicles the night of for me to pick up on Monday after.

tside. The most gorgeous view. This was the absolute best experience. Our wedding coordinator Aurora was amazing, she walked us through every step of the way to make our day perfect. She was very great at communicating with us. Text, email, or a simple phone call. She kept us in the loop at all times. The day of our wedding the weather was not very predictable it was going to rain most of the day but stop at certain times. Aurora and staff made sure that if it did rain, we would have a 2nd and even 3rd location for our ceremony, set up and ready to go. Our ceremony was at 3pm. It did rain but it rained before and after our ceremony. It stayed dry for us! We sure got lucky! We had a tent reception that was beautifully decorated. The food was amazing! The guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was.This venue was so professional and a amazing experience. I would recommend Majestic Oaks for couples that are looking for a wonderful, stress free, professional wedding venue.

nt! By the time our Wedding day came to a close, we had OVER 30 COMPLAINTS and had to spend the first 3 days of our Honeymoon Communicating and Meeting with the Venue to ask for a Refund back! Once they finally agreed to give us a refund (they didn't give us the amount we asked for, and we only asked for 1/3 back), they then asked us to remove our negative review! My Maid of Honor was the one who reviewed them negatively, so I would have no control over that being removed! I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, but since their attitude is that they gave us a (small) refund that everything is fine is the main reason for this post! JUST BECAUSE YOU GAVE US A (SMALL) REFUND DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT YOU ALL GAVE ME THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE INSTEAD OF THE BEST DAY! What to expect at your Wedding at Majestic Oaks: 1. Wedding Coordinator changes without them notifying you one month before your wedding (and having to start back at square one because the new one can't promise anything that the old one had in place). 2. Lack of communication from all employees throughout your entire process with them. 3. Wrong food for reception (I have specific allergies and gave them the exact food that I could eat and they did not follow it - was not able to eat on my Wedding Day)! 4. Don't expect them to follow literally ANYTHING from your contract you set up with the Coordinator (Wrong colored Napkins - we asked for red and we got white (this eventually got switched, but not before my photographer took her photos ), no high chairs when we requested 3 (given to guests dirty), cake not out at right time (was 16 minutes late ‐ had to go ask where it was), no forks/plates for cake (had to go ask)). 5. Expect not to decorate the outdoor reception space until 1 hour before (once you are all dressed up and hair/makeup done). Who wants to get all sweaty? They don't have a "set-up guy" to set out all the tables, linen, etc. until 10 a.m. the day of! 6. Expect the Wedding Coordinator to do LITERALLY nothing all day except tell your Bridal Party when to walk down the aisle (don't even expect to see your Coordinator for at least 3 hours after you arrive at the Venue). And don't expect the Coordinator to check in with you more than twice throughout the day (any other time you will have to send someone to go find them throughout the venue). 7. Expect to walk down the aisle (outside) to Goose Poop, unless you request it be swept up (don't expect them to do a good job either, my DJ stepped in and finished sweeping for them!!!!!). 8. Expect a Guest from your Wedding to drive a Golf Cart around the Venue trying to gather all of your Guests because they won't have any signs for your Outdoor Wedding except for inside the venue on a small t.v.! 9. Expect the Wedding Coordinator to leave before the Reception starts and WITHOUT checking in with the Bride & Groom to see if they need anything else. 10. Don't expect to keep your glasses of water throughout your Outside Dancing, because the Buffet workers have to have time to clean the glasses in the dishwasher! 11. If you pay an extra $100 for Soda Pop, expect them to put bottles of Pop in a small container with a cloth napkin and some ice around it. Once the ice melts and the napkin soaks up the water, it will not be temperature regulated!

our wedding. The 2nd coordinator that was employed for most of the summer leading up to our September wedding was very unorganized and unresponsive. I am very organized and just needed her to document the plan and provide basic information (e.g., bar package pricing) and she did not follow through. If she would have been our coordinator for our wedding, I'm confident I would be giving a 1 star review. Luckily, we got our 3rd coordinator ~ 10 days prior to our wedding and she (Kailey) was wonderful! She was put in an incredibly difficult situation and pulled everything together quickly for us. I have no doubt she saved us from some pretty big frustrations the day of our wedding if we would have continued with the previous coordinator. In the end, our wedding ceremony and reception (in the event tent) were beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Our guests loved the food, and it was a great day. But caliber of coordinator is everything at this venue.

different wedding coordinators in 1 years time. Never knew who I was suppose to get a hold of. We told our wedding coordinator from the beginning we wanted a buffet and then 1 week before they tell me it’s plated obviously after the invites were already sent out, then 2 days later a different wedding coordinator tells me we can have buffet again! We just had our wedding reception 6.5.21 because we already got married on 8.8.20. We were told the day before our reception a new A/C unit had been installed and everything was working fine. The day of our reception it was 100 degrees outside and the air conditioning WAS NOT working in our reception room! It was 92 degrees in the reception room. We had about 160 guests attend and all of our guests were miserable, half of our guests didn’t eat dinner, and over half our guests left early because it was so hot! They ended up moving everyone downstairs where it was a little better but still hot! Pretty much all our guests had left already because of the heat. All my wedding decor was wasted since we moved downstairs. I’m so unhappy with Majestic Oaks! They ruined our wedding reception because of the broken A/C and no one communicated anything to me about it! I’m now fighting them for a refund for ruining our special day. I REPEAT DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU SHIT SERVICE IN RETURN!

did everything from helping us plan a budget friendly meal and drink menue to providing us with a last minute propane tank for our patio heater. Their outdoor tent is very nice and was able to accommodate all of our guests (even with COVID restrictions). The wedding planner answered my emails, phone calls, and text messages at all times of the day. The food was incredible! They kept our real flower center pieces in a cool place for us until they put all of our decorations out on the table for us. I would recommend them a million times!

minor things would’ve been expected, but not one major thing after another! The air conditioning wasn’t on and we were miserable getting ready before the pictures & wedding, dripping with sweat in the stuffy room, and felt gross all day because if it! People were leaving right after dinner because they couldn’t take the heat! It was miserable, and there is no excuse for a venue not “having control of their thermostat” and unable to adjust it when it was over 90 degrees and humid outside! The coordinator was snotty to the mother of the bride asking for the temperature to be cooler when it made her feel sick, INSIDE the building before the wedding even started, and concerned for the 200 guests that were coming. The coordinator was nowhere to be found for any questions after that. Guests were leaving early because they couldn’t take the heat! First of all they didn’t set up enough chairs for the ceremony outside and people had to stand in the back, the bartenders didn’t serve the keg or wine the bride and groom provided for guests during the social hour, they proceeded to rack up their tab with other brands of beer because they didn’t even tell anyone ordering beer that there was a keg! One whole table didn’t get served dinner!! We had to complain about that because they were unaware, before they finally got their dinner served, cold, after everyone else had eaten, dinner was over, and plates were already cleared! Then, they didn’t bring out the ice cream bar that THEY were supposed to do & serve each person. We waited and waited, wondering what was taking so long. We had to complain about that too, so then they brought out all the ice cream and toppings, plunked them on a table and left. It was as if they had no idea what they were supposed to do! We thought they were still in the process of setting it up- everyone waited well over a half an hour as it was melting, so a family member had to start scooping it for people. They never set it up or served it properly, it was crude and embarrassing, not how the bride and groom planned in their contract of details at all! I will say on a positive note that the food was very good, and the grounds are very beautiful for a wedding and photos.. but guests should never have to leave from it being SO uncomfortably hot- I am still upset thinking about it, and it was over 6 weeks ago! It was the bride and grooms ONE special day that they planned & anticipated..and a lot of money spent!

a negative impact. First, they never turned on the air conditioning in the banquet hall until it was too late. When dinner was being served, the thermostat read 80 degrees and it did not get better once you have 200 people in a room. We received a ton of complaints about the heat and it made the dance very uncomfortable. We did an ice cream bar for our dessert. We were told that a person would be scooping the ice cream and all the toppings would be in dishes for our guests to use how they wish. However, they never set it up. When we asked when it would be ready, the staff had no idea what we were talking about which is baffling as it had been planned forever and we gave them all of the ice cream and toppings that were to be used. Eventually they brought out the ice cream and had someone scooping it but my family set up the toppings table and it was well after dinner was over. For the bar, we paid for a keg of beer, and numerous bottles of wine. We also provided a set cash amount that was to be only used on rail liquor drinks for the people that didn't want beer or wine. However, they didn't have any signs at the bar that said there were hosted drinks so people were buying beer even though there was a keg that was already paid for (and no, it wasn't just because they preferred a different beer, more on this later). I did complain to Majestic Oaks about these things. They were apologetic and did refund the room rental fee. This was less than 10% of the total bill but I was glad to get it and I was not going to leave them a bad review. However, in the weeks after the wedding after talking to family and friends, a lot more things came to light regarding the bar as well as other small issues. It turns out that they were not only not telling guests about the hosted keg, wine, and rail liquor. But they were specifically telling guests that it was a "cash bar" for a limited time until the set dollar amount was used up. So people were ordering cans of beer not knowing that there was a keg and the bar was using the money that was supposed to be only for rail liquor to pay for it. So the money ran out a lot sooner than expected and once it did, they were continuing to tell guests that it was a cash bar so then people were buying their own drinks without knowing that there was a free keg and free wine. It was this completely unethical business practice that drove me to write this review.

The couple things I was less pleased with were that my event coordinator changed after we booked and we had a lot of trouble getting timely feedback on questions. Then on the day Of there were things missing that we had talked about. They were quick to fix thing so that everything worked out great.

t! It rained on my wedding day, so we had to have the ceremony in the majestic room. The ceremony was beautiful and the staff worked hard to make it all work out for us. If I had to critique, I would say that the getting ready Room was shared with another bridal party, which was awkward. The grooms party had no place to hang their tuxes and my husband had to change in a shower stall. We also had zero signal in these rooms, which made it interesting when trying to communicate with a few vendors. We worked through it though. All in all, my wedding day was perfect.

Next, our ceremony felt very unorganized and we were under the impression our wedding coordinator would help us with it but the only time I saw her the whole day was as soon as I arrived asking me for money and letting me know I couldn't get married until she was paid. I found that pretty rude. Everything was beautiful and the food was good. Would have been 5 starts if it weren't for recieving no help from our wedding coordinator and the money being stolen.

There was no signs to tell people where to go outside for the ceremony so our guests were confused upon arriving. I left a message for the General Manager Dan 3 days ago and still have not received a call back.

She said she would go over how the ceremony would look with us the day of but we didn’t even see her until 10 minutes before the ceremony started. She did not check in with anyone with the wedding after the ceremony and left with out speaking with the bride. There was also another wedding taking place at the same as ours. This caused a lot of confusion with our guests on where they should be and no staff assisted with this. We paid extra to have the locker rooms to get ready in and keep the wedding party’s belongings in. At the end of the night we realized some of us had cash stolen out of these rooms. We expected this would be a safe and secure place to keep our belongings and were extremely disappointed
