Until, we met Chris & toured Majestic Oaks.. when we walked into the venue, it was the easiest YES!!The barn & the cantina matched me & my husband to a T. Not only was it affordable (I recommend the all inclusive option!!), but Chris made me & my family feel like her family! I could go on & on about this place, but in reality, Chris is what makes it THE VENUE to get married at! She deserves so much praise. She blew us away with how she handled anything & everything! We got married in the Cantina outside area, had a cocktail hour on the patio and our reception in the barn. Every single aspect was decorated and tended to precisely. Beautiful is the only word that we (and our guests) can use to describe the entire day and experience. The whole evening was a true reflection of our vision, our personalities and was very comfortable for all of our guests. This was the same feeling we had during every prep meeting, email and phone exchange and the actual wedding and reception. We would recommend Majestic Oaks and Christine a million times over for anyone looking for a comfortable, yet elegant venue.

She kept all our details straight, worked with us to do virtual planning sessions, and made sure everything the day of ran smoothly. The venue itself was beautiful - we got married at the Lakeside and used the Barn as our reception venue. We didn't do any decoration other than floral centerpieces as the place is very well decorated and beautiful on its own! Chris made sure everything stayed on schedule throughout the day and took care of everything we needed that day - including reserving us food, getting us beverages, and making sure our tips were distributed to our vendors. Very highly recommend!!

There is a certain charm to Majestic Oaks - from the lakes to the oak trees lining the property to the amazing staff that takes care of your every need. I honestly didn't have to stress at all when the days came. They provide tables, chairs, linens and all of your table settings and there was such a great variety that I didn't even have to look at other vendors. Definitely loved the flexibility of their packages and vendors. I have to point out again: the staff. Chris is the most amazing person and I am so grateful to have had her as my coordinator. Her team literally took care of everything and I had a 500 person guest count!! We rented a tent, of course, but it was still a big event and from what I keep getting messages about, my family and friends had the BEST time! If I had to do it again, I would definitely come back and book with Majestic Oaks every time!

For dinner we served fajitas, which were delicious. JPL Entertainment (included in the package) was on point all night. We did their extensive survey and they just nailed the music. Not that cheezy DJ that you sometime come across at weddings. Now for the best part; our coordinator, Chris. She was amazing!! Chris walked us through all of our options in our initial meeting, which was pre-COVID. Once the pandemic hit, as you could imagine, we were freaking out. One phone call to Chris and all of our worries went away. She was so accomodating and reassuring that our day would still be great. She and I had many phone calls/text messages over the course of planning and not once did I feel like I was a bother to her. Most phone calls ended in "that was the easiest call I have taken all day". Chris is a true professional and it showed on the big day. She graciously guided us through the day, helped setup our personalized touches in the reception hall. Answered all of our questions and concerns, and simply helped calm the pre-wedding jitters. We could not have asked for a better coordinator, she was simply perfect! Our day was better than we envisioned. We had multiple guests tell us that our wedding was the nicest, classiest, and smoothest run wedding that they have ever been to. We agree. I found this to be really rude: if we had scheduled an in-person tour and this had happened, would she have asked us to drive back another time? I was ready to shrug this off, and I put the ball in her court and told her to let us know. It's been a week and a half, and she has not reached out to reschedule. I'm assuming she's completely forgotten about us and is not interested in her business, so we have booked elsewhere.

Chris was my wedding coordinator and we had the ceremony at the cantina and the reception in the barn. Of course our wedding was postponed due to COVID but before we made that decision Chris was working with me to do what ever they could to make my wedding happen. With the ever changing rules and regulations she helped plan a small ceremony and reception until ultimately Texas ordered a mandatory shut down. Chris was wonderful in helping me find a new date to postpone the wedding to. The week of the wedding and the day of the wedding, Chris was absolutely amazing. I can not rave about Chris enough, she helped make my day a dream. Her staff was professional and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Our guest could not stop talking about how beautiful and wonderful the venue was. Planning a wedding is already stressful, add a pandemic in there and it's just a whole different ball game but Moffitt Oaks and Chris made everything work out perfectly and made our day so special.

For the price you pay, getting packaged vendors and Chris on your team is a STEAL!!

She kept my happiness the absolute top priority, and I'm so grateful because I tend to worry about pleasing others before myself. She was there for everything, and she was FIERCE in keeping me happy. She was also very calming and in control, which is crucial on your wedding day. I also wanted to mention Chris, who wasn't my coordinator but also took care of me. I had an issue with my bouquet when I went to pick it up, and called the venue in tears because I didn't know what to do. She calmed me down on the phone and then gave me a huge hug when I got to the venue!! Lauren then called the florists and asked them to deliver the bouquet instead of making us pick it up. They made sure it was perfect when everything arrived. Lauren also decorated the reception space, and let me tell you, she did an incredible job. I mean, she's just magical. I had planned to have the ceremony outdoors, but it looked like it was about to pour so we decided to make it indoor at the last minute. I wasn't even that upset because the ballroom looked so amazing! Seriously, booking them was one of the best decisions I've ever made!

Another HUGE perk is that it is an all inclusive venue which takes away a lot of headaches with planning!! Additionally, Moffitt Oaks has an AMAZING staff!! Chris Krauss was our day of coordinator and point person. From the moment we toured Moffitt Oaks, Chris got to know my family, my husband and I and she became family! She helped us every step of the way and answered every crazy question we had. On the day of the wedding, she made EVERYTHING run smoothly!! You name it, she did it! From setting up final touches to the barn, to helping guests, to bustling my dress, to drying me off when I was sweating, to being available every second of that entire day, and so much more! She was AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY recommend Moffitt Oaks and ask for Chris!! You will not be disappointed!!

y. Kellie, our wedding planner, helped make our wedding hassle-free, organized, and a dream come true. From the beginning, Kellie was willing to walk us thru the ceremony and reception process – there were so many details I did not know about – and recommend ideas that fit us as a couple. She helped us select details such as linens and centerpieces as well as discussed options for the s’mores bar. I couldn’t believe the amount of research she did on sterno (as my fiance was very particular about this). My fiance & I were surprised and impressed by her follow-up on sterno the day after we met. Kellie took the time to ensure we were comfortable with everything for the wedding. She accommodated an extra phone meeting so I fully understood the schedule and layout for the wedding. Kellie and the staff at Moffitt Oaks also executed my detailed set up notes about what needed to be on guest tables, sign in tables, cake table, and the candy bar. I didn't touch any of it and it looked perfect. The candy bar was so fun and looked great. The vendors that where selected thru Moffitt were also exceptional. JPL Entertainment’s DJ: Walt, was wonderful – with the music, his emceeing, and his attentiveness to the overall wedding. I know that Walt took the time to read the detailed notes we filled out on your website. He was able to improvise when more music was needed. Café Natalie was also fantastic. The food was more delicious than I remember at our tasting. Their waiters were attentive and knew when our families joined the cocktail hour – bringing them hors d’oeuvres. I was amazed at how well their staff moved throughout the wedding attending to their tasks without disruption. The tables somehow got cleared but I don’t remember seeing the staff. The cakes Lisa Barcelona made were gorgeous. Lisa was another of Kellie's great recommendations. She gave us several options to try and they were all excellent – you really know your business partners. I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful or delicious cake. The flowers and choice of cake stands were perfect too - facilitated by Kellie. The day of the wedding was nerve racking, it poured in the afternoon, and the weather services threatened rain into the evening. The Moffitt staff waited as long as possible to move the wedding inside. They were able to open the barn door once the rain stopped. During this whole process, I didn’t once have to think about the details of place setting – favors, menus, candy bar, or where my fiance should be standing – as these details were in place thanks to Kellie. Kellie and the entire Moffitt Staff was so helpful, professional, and exceptional – the best wedding venue & planner for our wedding.

ut a lot in the beginning, but then fell off from communicating quickly. In January, I was contacted by Moffitt about my wedding. This time, I was contacted by Lauren. I was asked about meeting to go over my wedding plan and happily obliged. After I got to the appointment, Lauren told me how Melissa was no longer working for the venue and that she would now be my coordinator. I was pretty taken aback that nobody had emailed me about it before that meeting, but I figured it happened often, so I'd just let it slide. Lauren was a pretty great coordinator along the way. There were a few hiccups in meetings (because of my crazy schedule and her needing to be with her kids), but I truly didn't mind those things. What I did mind was after picking out the decor for our wedding, Lauren needed to text me a few days later for me to remind her about each item I picked because she had forgotten to write it down. I was lucky that my mom had taken pictures that I could reference. Once we got to the wedding day, Lauren seemed to be pretty complacent about my wedding. I was a very low-key bride and didn't expect her to do much; however, she was absent from the bridal suite pretty much all day. When we had questions, she was nowhere to be found. At one point, when we were getting ready, my bridesmaid tried to fit into her dress and needed safety pins. We were scrambling trying to look for some, but couldn't find more than a few in my "emergency bridal kit". My mother had to go searching for a member of the Moffitt Oaks staff in order to find safety pins. Our wedding was on a Friday, so we didn't do a rehearsal the day before. This was completely our decision, which we might have changed going back to the day, but Lauren was very little help with logistics about going up to the lakefront for the ceremony. After the wedding, the staff forgot to pack my wedding cake with the rest of the items from the venue for us to take home (which was a completely understandable oversight). However, my dad coordinated to drive up to Moffitt (over an hour from home) later in the week to pick it up. When he arrived, he'd found out the cake had been thrown away by the janitorial staff. I was pretty upset about it because we'd specifically talked about picking it up (day and time). Overall, I'd give Moffitt a 3/5. The venue was beautiful, but the staff left a little to be desired.

’t know what to start with... I found this place online and read the reviews and when I went there I fell in love with it. It’s beautiful and spacious and it was my dream venue. I met with Lauren and I loved her and was so happy to have her as my coordinator but in the middle of the process she got changed to a different girl who knew nothing about planning a wedding. She lacked personal ownership of her job and didn’t really follow up with us. My wedding was supposed to be at the lake side with the ceremony in the barn. Well it’s Houston and it rained(flooded) that day. We went with plan B and had the wedding inside. But the venue was not water tight and started leaking from the ceiling to the point that we had to stop the wedding for 20 minutes so they could clean the water. Then the walls started leaking too. It was embarrassing. We spent SO MUCH money for this venue and the explanation that “this has never happened before” wasn’t really believable for a venue located in the Houston area. We live in HOUSTON guys, it always floods and rains. The coordinator was losing it and me, the bride, had to keep people calm. It was a BIG DISASTER. I am writing this review 5 month after the wedding because even thinking about that day makes me angry and very very sad. That was my big day that I planned towards for a whole year and it was ruined by this venue. I am so mad I can’t even think about the good parts of my wedding which were very few due to all the stuff that was messed up by the venue. NO BRIDE SHOULD FEEL THIS WAY. I can’t bring that day or those people back and I can never recreate that day. And I have to live with this memory for the rest of my life. If you want to go with this venue, make sure it’s not the rainy season and also do some research about your coordinator.

I fell in love immediately as the entire property is gorgeous and an all inclusive venue was what I wanted. they have several packages and options to choose from that can work with most everyone's budget and a warehouse of decorations to choose from which really made our reception stand out! Melissa was wonderful tending to all the details and helped keep me calm and relaxed during the entire process so I could remember to enjoy everything. Our wedding was beautiful and everything we both wanted and more. The ceremony at the Cantina was breathtaking and so romantic! So many people raved about the venue itself, how great the food was and how much fun it was to not only have the dancing and regular wedding activities inside the barn, but also the fire pit out back and s'mores bar and cornhole and jenga games. Being a little older, many of our friends have children and the back patio and games was perfect to keep them from getting bored as the night went on. From beginning to end, Moffitt Oaks did an amazing job and every single person there was so nice and so helpful throughout the entire process!

Every meeting she was very thorough and made sure that I had every question answered. She drove us around to the many options they have for both ceremonies and receptions. All of them are GORGEOUS, and we went with the Cantina for the ceremony and Barn for the reception. I loved how close they are to each other and how amazing the bridal suites and grooms quarters are. Moffitt Oaks is all inclusive and takes care of the bride and grooms every need, especially on the day of the wedding. We got snacks and drinks while getting ready for the big day and didn't have to worry about a single thing going wrong because we were in such good hands. We didn't have an empty drink all night and the vendors they offer in their many package options are AWESOME! We even had time to eat! We chose the rib tickler for our food vendor and everyone was blown away with how good their BBQ was. They even gave us a cute personalized gift! Not only do they have vendors for food and alcohol, but they also offer a hair/make-up artist Allison Hughes (who made me, my mom and MIL beautiful!), and a DJ team J&A entertainment who are amazing. She also had vendors for our cake and florist as well. There are no words to describe how amazing Moffitt Oaks and their staff is, but I do know that I will be recommending this venue to everyone I know. Thank you for making my dream wedding a reality!
