Theresa asked me a bunch of questions on what I envisioned my wedding look to be. She also took the time to listen and in her own way, enhanced my special day by not only making me look natural, but beautiful. For example, I don’t ever pay attention to my freckles and she highlighted my face in a way that added to the glow of my wedding bliss. This not only enhanced my look, it also complimented the photographer’s use of both natural outside sunlight and inside lighting. Because my wedding was 6 months from the first time we spoke, she touched base with me almost every month to see how I was doing and if she could help in any way. What an added touch! We had a trial run scheduled in March when we were back in Maine to finalize things and unfortunately, the nasty flu bug had other plans for us. Honestly, the fact that we didn't have a trial run until the day before the wedding didn't make me nervous at all. I felt confident in my decision to go with Theresa without meeting her in person and by far, it was one of the best decisions I made. Theresa also did my mother’s make up and she looked fantastic. My mom is 79 years old and her makeup was age appropriate – she looked stunning in our pictures too. Theresa traveled to me and brought all of her equipment, including lighting to ensure we had the proper environment. She was on point and was willing to work with me on timing so the wedding prep could fall into place seamlessly. She also reached out to the resort staff and our wedding planner to introduce herself, let them know she was going to be doing my makeup services, familiarized herself with the resort and walked the grounds with me to get a sense of the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception! It was very helpful to meet her in person prior to the date and get an indication of what my makeup would look like prior to the big day! She was very receptive to the type of look I was going for and executed it flawlessly! As some who hardly ever wears makeup, I was worried about looking over done but what she created was a simple, yet elegant look that I was excited to portray on the day of my wedding! She left my home after giving me some amazing tips on how to get my skin makeup ready for the big day that I executed in the weeks to follow. About a week before the wedding, she sent a very helpful e-mail of tips that I shared with my bridal party so they could also get their skin makeup ready. The day of, we were met by Theresa in a timely manner and she got right to work. She was the perfect blend of personable and professional while spending the day with the bridal party! My entire bridal party remarked on how happy they were with her blending skills and their finished faces! She was a complete life saver in covering up my little sister’s first days of freshman year in college hickies!! LOL What I found most impressive was her flexibility when a mother decided that she not only wanted to get her makeup done but she also wanted eyelashes applied too. Theresa quickly added another person into the mix without complaint and made sure that no one’s makeup suffered, included mine as I went last to have the “freshest” face! I was happy to see that Theresa was prepared with pictures from our trial and provided me the same look I was happy with at the trial! She made sure to show me and ask me if I wanted anything else done or changed or added. I felt completely comfortable with her despite being uncomfortable with makeup. Our makeup lasted all night despite a few tears and lots of dancing! I would highly recommend Theresa for your makeup needs for your big day or any other special occasion! She was reliable, professional, and worth every cent for this worrisome bride!

Theresa to keep it light and simple on the girls, and it was perfect! She accented everyone's natural beauty, while keeping them looking just glammed up enough to go with their dresses. She finished everyone on time, with time to give everyone a final touch up before we headed out. Our makeup lasted throughout the whole day, even on the girls who had their makeup done at 9am. Theresa is very laid back and easy to talk to, which is good especially for a wedding where people can be nervous or tensions run high. I would recommend her (and have) to others in a heartbeat!
