The brewery provided vendor lists which we used and had the absolute best experience using their recommendations. The venue was so flexible when it came to all details allowing customizable event. We opted to have her decorate the space, and it ended up looking beautiful. You can trust her!! - The cocktails were delicious, as well as the food. We received many compliments on both. The food was fresh and our guests were impressed with every item! - It did rain on our day so we did not get to utilize the outside deck, which was a bummer, but the space fit all of our guests comfortably regardless. - The bridal suite is absolutely beautiful and can fit a lot of people. We had 20 people in there comfortably. If you are considering having your wedding here, I highly recommend it. If we had to re-do our wedding day, we wouldn't have changed a thing about MBC!

We did not hire a day of coordinator but were able to have the staff set everything up for us for a reasonable charge and it was worth it! My bridesmaids and I used the bridal suite to get ready and it was perfect and worry free to be there for the wedding already People RAVED about the food - we served the Manayunk chicken, ricotta gnocchi and steak with herbed butter. My only regret with my choices was not personally eating more appetizers during cocktail hour! I loved how much the venue encouraged us to make the wedding what we wanted for the day and it was perfect.

ike I was working with a friend not a vendor. They are very accommodating and super customizable. We didn’t do a ceremony, instead we showed a video of our ceremony in Colorado, but they were still willing to work with my vision. I did see a review stating they don’t help you with anything. It is very clearly stated in the contract and they tell you when you tour that they recommend you hiring a day of coordinator for things like that because their focus is on their staff and the kitchen. This literally made the reception that much better, the staff was SO friendly and the food was FANTASTIC. I keep getting feedback from guests saying it was the best food they have had at a wedding. Chef Rich worked with all dietary restrictions and I was able to have a vegan entree at my wedding. The vegan entree was so good I ended up ordering it as my choice for dinner (I’m not vegan). Deyna was there all day, completely accessible if I had an issue I knew I could go to her. I did not need to because I hired a day of coordinator who was also amazing and happens to work with Manayunk all the time, so my day was completely seamless. I will note that most of the customization I was looking for I did pay for but it was nice to have a place that I could customize things to my heart’s content and not have to bring everything in myself. I highly recommended Manayunk Brewery the people, the food, the location was all perfect.

We loved the look of the event space, the fact they had an outdoor space on the deck and that they were so close to some cool picture spots. Another big selling point was how customizable everything was! Any suggestions I had, Deyna was like of course we can do that. It really allowed us to have the wedding we wanted to which was different from your classic traditional wedding. Everyone complimented the food which was so good, and we were able to even offer late night pizza which was the perfect touch after all the drinking. We were able to work with Deyna to create a special his and hers cocktail and she went above and beyond by infusing different flavors herself! Everyone said both his and her cocktails were such a big hit. I had the girls get ready at their bridal suite which made everything a lot easier to just stay in one place. The bridal suite was really nice and a good place to take breaks during the wedding as well. I honestly cannot rave enough about this venue! Deyna and Paris really made the whole wedding planning process so easy!

estaurant is awesome and has great vibes. The wedding space is upstairs and just so incredibly cool! Paris and Deyna - you cannot go wrong. We bugged them with crazy questions and they were not only patient and kind - they were SO supportive and helpful. We ended up booking out photographer based off of their recommendation - and are NOT SORRY. The day of our wedding - we had a Steampunk theme - the entire staff was on point - everyone was friendly and helpful - as the bride, I had NO STRESS! Paris and Deyna kept everyone on task and organized, we were all laughing and having a great time ALL DAY. The space was killer for our theme and we had a LOT of DIY to go with it, everyone pitched in to help us set up. The wait staff and bartenders, AMAZING! Also, I think it's important to add that you will NEVER find better wedding food than here. The Filet Mignon was to DIE for, oh and the Mushroom Cannellini - OMG --> Chef is the best. He completely went out of his way to ensure that one of our guests (a child with PKU) who cannot eat protein was accommodated. This child has never been able to eat at a restaurant before, but Chef made sure to get an approved list from his mom and he was actually able to eat an entire meal out with all of us. Book your wedding here, you will NOT regret it!

oth. You will not regret it. We were originally planning to get married in June of 2020 but had to postpone twice due to covid and the venue was so understanding and helpful. They helped make a stressful situation so easy. -Staff- The event coordinator, PARIS, IS THE BEST. She is very knowledgeable, responsive, kind, and helpful. She was very organized during the planning process and the day of. The staff at the venue was wonderful- they were so kind and engaging with my young niece and nephews. They were very responsive, fun, and professional. -The venue: We got married upstairs. It was so beautiful- rustic, classic, modern..but not stuffy...very warm and inviting. It's open and high ceilings and can be decorated in any style. The location is very convenient and there are many hotels within a short drive. There's also a parking lot and lots of bars/restaurants to go to before/after the wedding. The bridal suite is GORGEOUS and very convenient. We had planned to use the outside upstairs deck, but unfortunately the weather did not allow that. But there is a deck upstairs that has really pretty views and an extra bar. All of our guests commented on how beautiful, comfortable, and accessible the venue was. We had the welcome party the night before our wedding in the jazz room on the first floor. It was inviting and comfortable and had access to the outdoor patio which has really pretty views. The food/drinks: SO GOOD. The options are vast and able to accommodate multiple diets. We had guests that were vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian- all were very happy with their meals! During the welcome dinner we had the taco bar and guests raved that the food was delicious. The beer selection is great, wine was very good, and mixed drinks were made well. The food options for the wedding- wow there's a lot of options! We especially enjoyed the chicken and waffles appetizer, pan seared scallop, and Crispy Pork Belly and Brussels Sprout Leaves. We ordered the filet, chicken picatta, butternut squash, and roasted cauliflower steaks for dinner options- all were very good. Over 60% of people ordered the filet and loved it. Overall Experience- My wedding was perfect. There was nothing I would change. I started planning this wedding when I lived on the east coast and moved to California and continued to plan this wedding from across the country. The venue provided referrals for vendors, as well as being open to other vendors, and all the vendors they have relationships with that we utilized (hotels, transportation, parking, wedding planners- LISA IS THE BEST) were fantastic. They also were my event planner and assisted with photography- which as beautiful..and venue had stunning background for photos. The canal path was so pretty and a short walk venue. Basically- get married here. host your event here. it's the best.

to Paris and Dana, always communicative and they replied to emails asap. Our tasting was the first "taste" we had of the team, and it made us even more excited about choosing Manayunk. Planning a wedding is nerve-racking, and Paris's team have the expertise to help you relax and know they've got it under control. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and the team worked with us to remain calm and stress-free. If we got married again, I would pick this venue over and over. On the day of, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Not only was the venue stunning, all of our guests were saying "I've been to beautiful weddings before, but nothing like this. This is the most unique and stunning venue I've been at." We had 88 guests in total and I thought the space was the perfect size for it, just enough to fill out the tables but spacious enough for a dance floor and moving around. The bartenders were super nice, as well, always getting me (the bride) a drink every time I walked by. The chef is very talented, pushing the boundaries of the typical wedding food choices. Our guests kept talking about the chicken even after the wedding! Even down to decorating, I came super prepared and they were surprised on how prepared we were. They worked with our decor and offered advice on how to make it look even more stunning, adding fake candles and their own decorations. I thought that was a fantastic touch, as I was prepared to do it all and they said "nope, we got this." I can't say enough positive things about this venue and the team. If you want an industrial, shimmering, charismatic, unique venue, don't hesitate to book this. My ONLY complaint would be it was hard to find spaces in and out of the venue to get professional photos done, but that's the struggle of picking a venue within a city. Thanks Manayunk!

The team there is super attentive and very friendly. The venue is pretty on it's own and doesn't require a ton of decor, which was a huge weight off our shoulders. The bridal suite is absolutely beautiful and I'm glad we opted to use it to get ready and to give us a place to relax ahead of the ceremony. You can't go wrong with this venue! Everything was just a dream come true. Thank you Paris and team for everything you did to make sure our day went off without a hitch. It was just perfect.

From cocktail hour to reception, every thing was perfectly executed and on schedule without a single bump in the road. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!!

dn't pass on a message. This happened with more than one phone call. I asked to waive the dessert cutting and serving fee bc we served cupcakes and donuts in lieu of a cake. Was told no to waiving the fee bc they said it was for providing display pieces and set up, even though they didn’t plan to provide display pieces or set up the donuts. The fee was waived after some back and forth, but they didn’t let us use their cupcake stands. Didn't confirm a rehearsal time with us until two days before the wedding. When we were decorating the space, no help was offered. I understand it was the responsibility of the client. The minimum I expected was having someone present to answer questions that arose, set out place cards, or dust off the filthy shelves we were decorating.  The day of the wedding, Paris yelled at one of my bridesmaids for showing up to the event space half an hour early. Said she would be in the way of setting up. The space is giant. They could stick a few bridesmaids at a table with glasses of water easily. It was $50 for each plate of  chicken fingers for kids. The experience we had is a shame considering how beautiful the venue is. Deyna was pleasant to work with, though clearly overworked. The bartenders were very accommodating. I have 10 years of restaurant/hospitality experience (including management), and my family has no lack of industry experience. Can confidently say this was not normal or acceptable treatment.

We were excited about the space and menu going into our first tour, but upon meeting Paris, we were truly sold on having our reception here. She immediately made us feel like we were in good hands. We booked nearly 20 months ahead of our date and during all of that time, Paris was always available to answer our questions, no matter how big or small they were. We truly felt supported by Paris throughout the entire planning process. When we had our tasting, we thoroughly enjoyed all of the menu items we tried. We've been to a lot of other weddings where the couple raved about the food at their tasting, and the food was your run-of-the-mill wedding food. That simply was not the case with the Manayunk Brewing Company. Our food was just as good, if not better, during our reception as it was at our tasting. And the service was impeccable. Multiple servers stopped my husband and me during cocktail hour to ask if we wanted a platter of the passed hors d'oeuvre made up for us and within minutes, that platter was brought over to us. And, during dinner service, servers surrounded our guest tables and served each guest's meal at the same time so no one at the table was left waiting. Our guests have continued to tell us how good the food was and that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. The bar staff was amazing, keeping the drinks flowing for our guests. And the attendant who assisted us with cutting our cake also personally took it upon himself to have our small cake to make sure our parents also got a slice. My husband and I truly could not be happier with choosing to host our reception at the Manayunk Brewing Company. The space was beautiful and modern, and the service was even better than we could have expected. 10/10 would do it all over again here if we could!

Aside from how unique the space is, there's something that's even more special during the wedding planning process at Manayunk Brewing Company: the opportunity to work with the one and only, Paris Rose-Antonogiannis! I CANNOT say this enough: Paris is the ABSOLUTE BEST. Talk about an incredible human being! After the first time my husband and I met Paris, we couldn't stop talking about how lucky we were to have her guidance during a stressful time of planning. Paris is the type of person to make you feel so comfortable, supported, and at ease. It felt like we've known Paris for years! We are so grateful to not only have chosen Manayunk Brewing Company as the place where we became husband and wife, but also so fortunate to have met Paris. We love ya, Paris! Thank you for everything.

very professionally and accurately, she checked in about every month to see if anything changed, etc. as the day approached. The kitchen staff was also very receptive to some modifications to the catering menu due to dietary restrictions and allergies. I was confident that they would honestly and fairly try to accommodate just about any rational request we threw their way! All of this communication and coordination was also happening when the Brewery was closed for multiple months as they has unfortunately flooded from the river.... I suspected they had 'bigger fish to fry', but STILL maintained open and honest communication with us the entire time. Heading in to rehearsal, the space was clean and ready to go for us! Come wedding day, we honestly felt like royalty. After blistering in the heat for photos at their scenic river walk area, which is a very short walk down a ramp from the reception space, my wife and I felt quite dizzy and queasy. Paris, at no extra charge, insisted we get some food from the kitchen immediately and totally took care of us. Their staff was courteous, professional, and unwavering in their support of our guests to have the best night. I cannot say anything better for this venue, and the business as a whole. PLEASE book them!!!!

ordinator Paris were as professional, warm and accommodating as they could be during a very stressful time for many of their couples. Paris offered recommendations for our vendors whom she has worked with and trusted, although we ultimately opted for some new vendors :) We had separately hired a wedding planner to assist us throughout the planning process (Andi at Musa Weddings), but even if you do not have a planner, Paris is exceptionally knowledgeable (i.e.expert) at wedding planning and can help you throughout the planning process at MBC. She also offered wonderful recommendations during our tasting for ways to accommodate dietary restrictions, fan favorites on the menu, how to have a diversified menu, and ways to 'zhuzh' up the space if you needed inspiration. When we first visited MBC we immediately fell in love with the space. It is intimate but large enough to accommodate up to 200 people, but intimate enough that our final guest list of 80 felt full in the space. It is a simple canvas so you can bring any vision to life in the space. They also have a private upstairs patio space if you want to have your ceremony or cocktail hour oustide. We opted to do all inside (due to weather) and the space being so welcoming. MBC also has a private, separate space for couples and their families which we used as a holding space during the photos (there is an amazing trail right behind the restaurant which is GORGEOUS for photos) and they provided snacks and drinks. We also used this space to sign our Ketubah for some privacy with our family only, and after our ceremony, we were able to enjoy a few private moments together to decompress. MBC also brought us our own drinks of choice and a sampling of the cocktail hour snacks so we could enjoy our first minutes of marriage! When we were researching a venue and caterer for our wedding, our number one priority was good food. MBC delivers. At our tasting it was hard to pick only a few items - they were all so delicious! The chef introduced himself as well and was very open to any needs or preferences. We received (and have continued to receive) endless compliments on the food...so much so that no one was eating the dessert we brought in! They just wanted more mini chicken and waffles :) MBC was not only exceptional, but well within our budget. So much so, that were were able to upgrade our bar menu to top shelf and our guests noticed :) I cannot recommend MBC enough. The staff was professional, the service leading up to and on the day of the wedding was phenomenal; I felt in very good hands with Paris and her staff. They were knowledgeable, calm, collected, and FUN. My groom and I always had a drink in our hands or a snack on our plate thanks to the staff. There are hundreds of amazing reviews on MBC on this site, and they are all true. I only wish I could do it all over again :) and eat another bite of the pork belly or ahi tuna!! Paris & the MBC staff - thank you, thank you, thank you!

There wasn’t a thing they couldn’t handle with ease and they had everything under control the entire time with nothing left undone. Even though I was nervous about even having the event the weeks leading up to our date Paris was professional, calm, and determined that she would get Manayunk Brewing up to par in time for our event. She's so relatable and down to earth and I think that's what really made our experience so great. Thank you Paris and Manayunk brewing team for working super hard to get that place up and running. I know a lot of blood, sweat and tears have been put into that venue the past couple months and it truly shows. It is so unique and trendy. I had a blast and that's the point so thank you Paris!!! Their chef is incredible, and we LOVED everything we tasted. He also came out to chat with us, which I appreciated! When Manayunk Brewing is back up and running, highly recommend!

We knew we wanted an outdoor space to accommodate our guests levels of comfort as restrictions were being lifted, and the upper deck area of Manayunk was absolutely perfect. It was a gorgeous space overlooking the water, we were so happy with how the space looked and heard so many compliments of the event throughout the night. The space was perfect for our 30 person party, the food and drinks were delicious, and the entire staff was awesome! Our entire party was so happy with the event, I would absolutely recommend the Manayunk Brewing Company for any event!

Paris and ownership refunded us our deposit and completely understood our predicament. If there’s ever a time for us to have another event, we will definitely be reaching out to Paris to help us put together an amazing celebration as she’s one of the main reasons we booked with the company!

really blank canvas for us to decorate with the unique touches we wanted to add to really make it OUR wedding (but is also beautiful the way it is so we didn’t need to go overboard.) Paris is so helpful and is basically an encyclopedia of Philadelphia and other local vendors, I was able to tell her what I wanted regarding flower styles, wedding planning (Darby from Seeds of Change was absolutely essential!), types of desserts, photography, etc. and she always had an answer for me within 12 hours. She was also responsible for pointing us in the right direction for photo-ops in and around the brewery, these ended up being my absolute favorite shots of the day! I’d recommended anyone who is looking to get married or even host an event, as I mentioned before this space is beautiful as is and the view to the busy street felt so whimsical and really made you realize you’re in a major Philadelphia hub. The staff and management were helpful at every turn and I’ll never be able to thank them enough for making our wedding the best day ever :)

Manayunk Brewery fit the bill perfectly for our 150 person wedding and Paris as the venue coordinator and point of contact was the cherry on top. Due to the pandemic we unfortunately had to push our May 2020 wedding to August, and are now in the process of indefinitely postponing it. Paris has been so understanding and flexible and unlike some vendors/venues, genuinely cares about each individual client. We hope that some day down the road we will be able to hold a big celebration there!

We had the ceremony inside and opened up the deck for cocktail hour. It was so freaking beautiful and our guests were so happy to enjoy the beautiful day outdoors overlooking the river. There was a live band playing downstairs at the restaurant's patio, so that was a fun extra. During the wedding, I didn't have to worry about a thing. I can't give the staff enough compliments. Our guests were served quickly and I never saw a long line at the bar. Paris absolutely saved me by bringing me a honkin' plate of cheesesteak eggrolls (the best) during cocktail hour and ordering sushi for me from downstairs, she and her staff made sure my husband and I were constantly content. The staff were putting in some serious work to help us clean up at the end of the night. All of their efforts were unexpected and so appreciated. MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE. Choose Manayunk Brewery to host your wedding. You will not be disappointed.

She answered our silly questions, listened to the ideas we had for the space, and was in general, fantastic to work with. The entire staff at Manayunk really made our day special. We've been to many weddings where the bride and groom doesn't get to eat, has to stand up at the bar waiting for a drink, etc. However, that was not the case here. We were fed first (they asked our preference!) so we could walk around to tables while others ate, we were addressed by name by each staff member, offered drinks every time they saw us walking around (even going above and beyond getting any requested drinks from their downstairs bar if it wasn't available for us), and just always being kind, professional, and helpful to not just us but all our guests as well. They were so happy to fulfill whatever request we had. The venue was beautiful (I'm still getting compliments on it!), food was great, and drinks were fantastic! Overall, we are so happy we chose Manayunk were blown away by how well everything went and looked. Thank you again Paris and your team! We had a phenomenal time and loved every minute!

wonderful. I merely had to pop my head out of the ceremony space and a staff member was immediately asking what I needed and what they could do to help me. The wedding went by effortlessly and I and all the guests said it was the best ceremony they've been to. I love how the venue looked and it needed very little additional decoration (which I greatly appreciated) and it fit perfectly into my relaxed wedding look.
