Communication with their catering admin staff was spotty at best as they had terrible turn over while we were trying to nail down the details of our event. I found myself having sometimes to follow up a couple times to get an answer. But we had a question after the event that was promptly addressed and that ended everything on a good note. Overall please with our experience.

She was so helpful and responsive, making the perfect selections for our day. We had several guests tell us this is the best food they've ever had at a wedding. The desserts were also a huge hit as we selected their Italian cookies and gelato cart. The cart was so cute and looked great in the photos! We would absolutely recommend Mandola's if you are looking for an Italian option!

After speaking with a few, we became quite unsatisfied with what they had curated for us, in terms of food, their attitude about the wedding, and the overall pricing. Then, after one of our day trips into Austin, we stopped for lunch at Mandola's and asked if it would be possible to cater our event and we are so thankful it was. To start, I really loved how the catering menu is designed and organized. It gave us enough options to choose from but not so many that we felt overwhelmed. It is very well balanced and helped us get an idea of what y'all had to offer. Upon reaching out, I was so pleased to find out that they were willing to work with us on doing a plated meal service. This was something I really wanted to do and worried it wasn't possible because of our location. I really appreciated Amanda and the Mandolas team going above and beyond to make it happen. Amanda was truly the one who made the whole experience so enjoyable and fun for us to plan from start to finish. She helped create a dinner beyond our expectations all while being friendly and professional. She was always good with communication and helped answer all our questions. After months of coordinating and planning, the day couldn't have been more perfect. The servers were attentive, the bartenders were friendly, and overall everyone was professional. I was honestly blown away at how well it all came together. Andres turned Contigo into a 5 star restaurant. I still am getting compliments on how delicious his cooking was. Overall, everyone helped create such a relaxing and magical atmosphere. We are so grateful to have had Mandola's, Amanda, Alexis, Andres, and all the staff that helped put together the most incredible meal for us to enjoy with our family and friends. It really changed our experience from a negative one to a positive one just solely based off Amanda's willingness to provide us with the best for our special day. We look forward to using Mandola's Catering in the future.

ERYONE still loves pizza! All of our guests said the food was amazing and that it was such a relief to get good food at a wedding! We had Pizza, salads, pasta, bread, and great bartenders from Mandolas! It was seriously the BEST decision we could of made. They were also amazing about making sure me and my husband had exactly what we wanted. My drink stayed full, our pizza was customized to our exact wishes, and appetizer plates were saved for us while we were taking photos. Book Mandolas and you and your guests will BE SO HAPPY YOU DID!

One of the things you have to consider for your wedding is having a caterer that is prepared and has enough experience for any last minute change that can happen because of the weather. We had an original plan of setting everything outside, that day the buffet table, chairs, etc was outside and suddenly, the sun changed to rain in less than a minute! Mandolas and their team really surprised us on how well and stress free they managed the whole situation. We ended up having the food under the Pavillion and the result was still fantastic! Everyone keep telling us how delicious the food selection was and how amazed they were by Mandola's. Don't think twice when it comes to your caterer. The pizza oven was set up so guests could see the pizzas being made through the window. Loved it! The change from appetizers to buffet was seamless and guests were served quickly. Their bakery was also in charge of the brides cake , an Italian cream cake was delicious and cut and served by staff. All the food was just amazing and I still have people texting me today about how good it was. One guest said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! The most amazing part of my experience was staff!!! From menu planning to last minute additions, and dinner service, staff was kind, respectful and stayed on top of their game. The side room has an entrance to the playground that guests could walk through during our event, but despite our concern, we didn’t notice anyone coming through - it was as if we had our own large room! The Delia and the staff at Mandola’s were a pleasure to work with and coordinated with our guest size and setting up pictures and decor. en better, Delia, the catering manager, is actually one of the nicest, most accomodating people that you could ever hope to meet. She was so helpful with figuring out how much food to order, what entrees and salads would work best, and all the details I would have never thought of. On the day of our wedding, they made extra sure that my wife and I got a healthy serving of all of our favorites and it was just so tasty. My mom can't stop talking about how hot all the food was - she says that a buffet is almost always lukewarm, but somehow Mandola's made sure that everything was piping hot and she LOVED it. The pizza oven and gelato bar were two of my favorite things and made everything feel just a little bit extra. To top off all of this awesomeness, not only was Mandola's food fantastic, the service unbeatable, but the cost was literally half of the bids I got from other caterers! HALF! I could not believe it, especially now that it's all over and looking back on how great everything ended up being, it's even more amazing what a good deal it really was. so everything is hot and fresh when guests get it. Many people doubted our decision of serving pizza at our black tie wedding, but after dinner we received so many compliments. Everyone loved the idea and said it was their favorite wedding meal they've had. Mandola's brings all of the equipment needed, tables, table cloths, serving utensils, wooden pizza boards to make it look nice, and small signs with the type of pizza written on it. Their staff of three plus people also do all of the heavy lifting as well as clean any rented silverware so it is return ready. Delia is the main person we were in contact with and she was so helpful and did a great job managing the event. On top of everything the price is so reasonable and much more affordable than any other caterers we looked into. If you want a fun meal your guests will love I would highly recommend giving them a call!

g, I decided to contact Mandola's Italian- Arbor Trails for more information. I am so happy that I did! Jen Zaligson was such a pleasure to work with. She answered all questions quickly and was the most accommodating person that I have worked with in a very long time. She set up a tasting for my son and his fiancé and they were also very impressed with the food and the service. When we booked the date and began to work on the details, Jen was again very helpful and professional. Every suggestion that she made turned out to be the perfect choice. We had 35 people attend in the half room. All menu items were excellent. She recommended appetizers and also helped us accommodate special dietary needs for the meal. The appetizers and main meal were served buffet style and it was perfect for us. We chose the following menu options: unlimited fountain drinks; appetizers: meatballs, mushroom and leek tarts, stuffed mushrooms; entrees: chicken picatta, lasagne; sides: mista salad, grilled vegetables, foccacia bread; dessert: tiramisu, mini canonnoli tray. The guests all bragged on how good the food was and we enjoyed our time together in a great atmosphere. We did have some food leftover and the servers bagged it up for us and we were able to send food home with the bride's family to help with all of their company. The location was conveniently located and being in a large shopping center area, there was plenty of parking. I don't usually take time to write reviews, but I asked for the Knot link to leave a review based on our experience because it would have been so helpful to me if I had been able to read something like this when I was searching for a place to host such a special event. I have no idea how many hours I searched reviews online looking for the perfect place. It was exhausting. I hope that this review is helpful to someone looking for the perfect venue for a get-together. The cost was reasonable for the type of event we were hosting, the servers were very helpful and worked hard to make sure we had a good experience while there, and the event coordinator, Jen, could not have done a better job. I highly recommend you work with Mandola's for your special event.
