Mandy is a truly gifted creative and organizational force. Her no-fuss approach ensured that our massive “wedding train" ran smoothly and on time. With an impeccable sense of style and a deep understanding of what works and what doesn’t, she expertly guided us to all the right decisions. Working with Mandy also comes with knowing that you'll benefit tremendously from her connections and seasoned relationships with many of the very best professionals in the industry, which proved invaluable to us. Mandy ensured that every vendor we hired not only aligned with our creative vision but also operated within our budget.
In the final week leading up to the event, Mandy's reassuring presence put our frazzled minds at ease. Then on the big day, our outdoor wedding plans were almost completely derailed by unexpected terrible weather. Mandy instinctively came to my wife’s support. Upon seeing what the weather had become, my wife was in tears, fearing the day was ruined. Mandy, with her comforting hug and reassuring words, provided the best kind of assurance that everything would turn out perfectly. And it did! Once she pivoted us into the new plan of events, we quickly forgot about all the changes and were overjoyed by the overwhelming beauty of the day that followed! Thanks to Mandy’s ingenuity, extreme weather challenges were transformed into pure magic… It actually made our wedding day into something better than we could have imagined.

I cannot recommend working with Mandy highly enough. She is thorough, flexible, organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and straight forward. She's also fun to work with and she was so genuinely excited about our wedding. Simply wonderful. We hired her right as we started to plan our wedding and spent around 16 months working on it, with a few month-long breaks in the middle when we got really busy with our jobs/travel/other things.
Mandy is an exceptional wedding planner! If you're thinking of hiring her as part of your wedding team, DO IT!
We had to reschedule our wedding twice due to Covid, and Mandy made sure everything went off flawlessly, negotiating with vendors and our venue. She is organized, friendly, talented, and very knowledgeable. She gave us several vendor recommendations (flowers, caterer, rentals, and band) and we were super happy with all of her suggestions. When we throw our anniversary party one day, Mandy will be the first person we call! :)
Mandy Scott was EVERYTHING our wedding needed and deserved. She's not just the glue that holds everything together, she is the savior pulling out last minute solutions to unforeseen events... like our DJ quitting 7 days before our wedding! Mandy had us lined up with a new DJ in less that 2 hours. As someone who has spent a decent amount of time planning events, I can honestly say she's better than anyone I have ever worked with in my life. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and the only thing I would change if I could go back in time and fix anything - would be to START the wedding planning process with her so that she could find all the best vendors. I can't say enough kind things about Mandy, her and her assistant were EVERYTHING. She made our day care free and perfect, she made it so that we didn't have to deal with ANYTHING logistics related the day of the wedding. She handled all the communication with all the vendors, the tips, the annoying drunk people, she was everywhere and did it all with a sense of grace and calm. She is the best thing you'll have at your wedding.
We hired her for month-of planning and in retrospect, I wish I had requested for her to plan the whole thing. She and her team orchestrated the entire day perfectly - I didn't have to worry about anything.
I had the honor of being the last client of Lisa Tomasi, a planner that worked with Mandy Scott Events. Lisa was a really lovely person and had a great fun loving attitude. That attitude really helped during the planning process due to stress and budget issues. She was very resourceful and helpful with offering recommendations on which vendors to use or ideas for the wedding plans. We signed for a wedding planner for just the days and month leading up to the wedding and I feel Mandy Scott Events went above and beyond in terms of services and support with helping plan my wedding.
Hiring Lisa from Mandy Scott Events was the best decision we made wedding planning. We hired Lisa for day of coordination, but she was helpful from day one! She made me feel comfortable, and I always felt less stressed after our conversations. I do not know how we would would have made it through our wedding week without Lisa and Savannah! BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! As a bride you do all that you can in the planning process and then hope for the best. With Mandy you don't have to hope, because you are being taken care of from the beginning. Working with Mandy was not only an amazing experience but she really went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best day of our lives....and it was. She is the best I have ever seen. I have been working in the wedding industry for over 15 years and I have had the opportunity to work with quite a few wedding planners. Mandy and her team exceeded our exceptions in every way.
My fiancé and I were married Saturday November 19th at Old Saint Hilary's chapel in Tiburon. We had no idea how to even begin planning a wedding. It rained a lot on our wedding day and things had to be changed or re-routed...Mandy absolutely assured us the entire time that she had everything under control. Everything happened on time and we didn't have to worry about anything. We felt very supported with her.
My favorite moment was being announced into the reception with my husband and seeing the room for the first time...I remember taking a huge breath in and tears coming to my eyes at how incredibly beautiful she made our room look. Her attention to all the details is impeccable. She will always be honest with you and tell you what works and what doesn't. Her vision was immaculate and her work ethic was beyond pro. Even our families were in love with her!
If there is one thing I can recommend to other Brides it is to HIRE MANDY!. She takes the stress out of planning a wedding and creates a fun and enjoyable process from the beginning...and thats how it should be! Thank you so much Mandy, for helping us to have the best day of our lives!
Hiring Mandy was the easiest decision my fiancé and I made. We did our research, but she was the only one that we met with and have no qualms about not having interviewed more. Her personality fit with ours very well. She's a no-nonsense, tell it like it is type. Her price was very reasonable to start, but she also discounted it for us a bit since by the time we signed her, we had already chosen our venues. Her knowledge of local vendors was spot-on. As with many other brides-to-be, I'm sure, my time was already stretched thin working a regular job and trying to plan my wedding. For each vendor and choice, Mandy would ask us a few questions and then had the exact vendor to recommend. She'd usually have about 3 ranging in price and all we had to do was choose between the cream of the crop. In the case of our wedding cake baker, she even only had one that was perfect!
She did a great job of keeping us on budget and on track with when certain vendors should be booked and decisions made. She even put up with my particularly lengthy decision process!
Our wedding day went off without a hitch. I'm not kidding, not one thing went awry. In fact, by the time it came to dinner we were actually a head of schedule! How many people say that?! She and her team ran everything behind the scenes without being noticed. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our day without a care in the world. It was perfect!
As an added compliment, a couple of our guests are corporate event planners and they were in awe of how smoothly the entire day went and how everything looked. She guided us in creating such a beautiful space at our reception venue that our guests felt like there were new places for them to explore all evening. We have received nothing but rave reviews of the entire event.
I would pick Mandy all over again.
I used Mandy as both my wedding planner and florist. I had a 200 person destination Indian wedding (3 days long) which required a lot of coordination and planning. Overall, absolutely amazing and worth every penny! Now that the wedding is over, I even miss talking to her and still text her about the pictures! She did an excellent job helping me pick all the vendor, setting up and being an active part of all our meetings, working with my large family, and creating my vision. I would highly recommend her to other brides, especially if you need someone who is hands on and very involved but still lets you make all the important decisions. She is reliable, hard working and made wedding planning really enjoyable for my family and me!
Mandy's flowers were elegant, beautiful and even prettier than I had imagined. I got so many compliments on her work! The setting for the wedding was even more beautiful that I though it would be and it totally took my breath away! I didn't love the ballroom at the hotel so Mandy helped me find someone who could drape the room the way I wanted. The combination of the drapery and her flowers made the whole room look gorgeous!
I was so worried that I would be stressing about the little details and not enjoy the wedding as much as I hoped, but when I got there, I was so relaxed because Mandy was taking care of everything! She had a whole team of people helping us. My entire family, my husband and I all ended up having such a blast and enjoying every moment! After the wedding, we were both so sad it was over and we both agreed it was a perfect wedding!
My only complaint: There were a few things that got off schedule on the day of the wedding and we ended up being an hour behind schedule. It was mostly due to transportation at the hotel, the DJ showing up late for the baraat and a family member getting an ankle injury. Mandy did a good job of trying to keep things on time. Honestly, I don't know if there are any weddings without a minor glitch. Despite that, we ended up having a blast and the guests barely noticed or cared about the schedule! The dancing at the reception was a bit shorter than I had hoped but after a 3 day wedding, we all managed to get enough dancing in!
Overall, it was a memorable, magical and unforgettable weekend and if I had to go back, I would pick Mandy all over again!
If you are a bride on a budget, or not, Mandy has all the right tips to get what you want for less. We hired Mandy for wedding planning and for flowers. Our wedding was at the Villagio in Yountville on October 25, 2014. It was a rainy day and Mandy was able to pull off the outdoor wedding we had been envisioning for our 80 guests. This was a destination wedding, so I relied on Mandy to put lots of the ideas together as far as lodging, décor, welcome bags, rehearsal dinner, and lots other details. I'm glad that she listened to my vision and executed it wonderfully. Great communication! She was great with returning emails/phone calls, followed up with vendors promptly. My husband and I are always so busy in our day to day life that we did not want to stress over small details. Her expertise and patience made wedding planning simple and helped sooo much. She also referred great vendors, like our officiant and DJ. DJ was so great, kept everyone dancing. Our guests had an amazing time and we've heard so many compliments since that day. As far as flowers, Mandy did a wonderful job. Bouquets, ceremony and reception decor was exquisite. Our guests expectations were high and that is exactly what they got.

Mandy Scott did all of the flowers for my October wedding, and it was GORGEOUS. I should start by saying that Mandy was responsive and helpful. She came with my mom and me to look at linens and rentals just to make sure that the flowers would fit with the rest of the decor (even though she was not our wedding planner), and she even brought some flowers with her so that I could see what the table setups would look like. She was also incredibly patient with us in discussing options for a hanging tent installation, which we did not end up doing because it was cost prohibitive. Now to the wedding day. My photographer seriously told me that she couldn't stop taking pictures of my bouquet because it was so beautiful. It was lush and full of big high-quality seasonal flowers. The huppah she designed for the ceremony was stunning and it was in just the style I wanted. And the flowers on the dinner tables were so pretty that even I (the bride) had my phone out to take pictures of them. Every detail on all of the floral arrangements was impeccable. I highly recommend Mandy.
