On the day of our wedding, all of the staff was great, but specifically our day of coordinator, Tess, was AMAZING. She was so kind and kept us on track during the rehearsal and wedding day. She checked in with my husband and I multiple times throughout the night to see if we needed anything. Really happy with our experience.

it would be the less expensive entree plus $2. I even clarified with Allison with the specific entrees we were going to select and was told I was correct. After we already offered the dishes to our guests and got our final numbers we found out that it was ACTUALLY the most expensive dish + $2 and it ended up costing ~$2,000 more than we expected. The only solution we were offered was to choose a cheaper dish for our guests. When I emailed the owner with all of the email communication I never received a response. We had a beautiful wedding but were very put off by how the situation was handled.

She went the extra mile with honoring verbal contracts, setting up a private tasting for my husband and I for the custom meal we wanted at the wedding, and making custom framed photos of my husband and I for event signs!! I cannot overstate how incredible she and the team were to work with. Additionally, the food was amazing, we received tons of compliments! Multiple guests told us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding, and we agree! With the manor house being an all inclusive venue, it can be a concern that they lack in some areas, but I can’t think of a single one. Additionally, we didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator, but with Allison there to help us through planning and Brennan there the day of to take care of anything we needed, we were absolutely set. They really allowed us to realize our wedding dreams! We had multiple people say it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, which is the highest of compliments! I highly recommend the manor house to anyone and everyone!

ive when needed. The entirety of the planning process was made more stressful by the nit picky extra charges that were added. Also our contract stated that they would set up and clean up our space which was a major deciding factor in booking. They made the set up so difficult that I just ended up telling them that my family would just do it. When it came to clean up we asked our day of coordinator thirty minutes before the end of our wedding if everything was set for them to clean up and were told that their policy had changed and they would help us clean up but that it was ultimately up to us and our families. Our day of staff was very kind and attentive but I’m sorry to say that it didn’t make up for the stress that the sales staff caused. If you want a flexible and overall easy planning experience from your venue then don’t use manor house.

Our Event Manager, Tess, helped ensure our wedding day was seamless. The food was very good and we received compliments from our guests. I highly recommend Manor House to any bride looking for a wedding venue in Cincinnati.

1-year anniversary, per tradition. We received the cake back still fully constructed and haphazardly wrapped, leading it to start to topple over. We confirmed with our baker that a box was provided for the top tier, and regardless, multiple boxes were available (from the various sheet cakes that were also provided) for our two-tier cake to be safely returned back to us. When asked why this did not occur, the owner stated that the bottom tier did not need to be used and they did not have any boxes that would accommodate our cake, saying they did the best they could. We had also asked for gluten-free cake to be delivered to our gluten-free guests at their chairs, which Allison stated was no problem. From our perspective, this did not occur. When the owner was asked, she stated they delivered cake to those guests still at their seats and placed the remaining on the cake display table. I have a sister who has a disability and who is gluten-free. She was at her table and did not receive gluten-free cake. The owner also cited this as a “free service.” We paid for an extra, portable bar to be used outside during our cocktail hour. When purchasing this, we had an entire conversation with Allison where she drew a picture to indicate where the bar would be outside. I also asked about the necessity for signage indicating that another bar was available inside; Allison stated this was not necessary and that staff could let guests know. On the day of the event, the only bar open was the outside bar. They did not have the inside bar open. When the owner was asked about this, she stated that typically when music is outside and there is a portable bar, the only bar that is open is the outside one. She also stated that per Allison, we only wanted the outside bar open, which again, was not true. We also purchased a case of champagne for our event, and this was not made available. The owner did apologize and took ownership for this. For all of the above reasons, we asked for a refund totaling about 5.5% of our total costs. Other than the cost of champagne, we did not receive a penny back. In fact, I had to ask more than once for a refund on the champagne, and I attached the receipt twice before actually receiving the partial refund. (We still have not, to this day, received the full refund.) Multiple references to “free services” were given to us as an explanation for why we did not qualify for a refund; since these were all deemed “free services,” we asked what the 22% service fee was for (which was included in our final costs.) We never received an answer. If you are looking to book a wedding/event here, we urge you to really consider all aspects of this review.

ns. Manor House accommodated request regarding switching reception rooms and displayed good communication. The day of the wedding was amazing the manor house staff was helpful and we had no issues. I would get married here again on 10/10. The only issue we had was our sales manager forgot things often but outside of that Id say we had a good experience using this venue.

est size and our personalities. Madison Benjamin was our sales rep and from the first time we messaged her, to our initial tour, to our wedding day she was phenomenal. I am Type A and she was quick to respond and always gave me thorough helpful answers which I loved. She helped us so much throughout the process and I am so grateful that we had her experience and support. On the wedding day Allye was our day of manager and she was amazing. All our decor was set up exactly as we wanted, she answered questions during our rehearsal, and made our wedding day run so smoothly from start to decor clean up. Our guests all complimented how beautiful the Manor House was and how amazing the food was. We loved the support we had between Madison leading up to the wedding day and Allye on the wedding day. The Manor House was an incredible place to get married and we are so grateful we chose it for our venue.

ue looking. After not getting answers from multiple other venues, or venues that wanted to charge an insane price, we chose Manor House! Every step of the way, Allison was with us! Every meeting, progress was made. We did start planning this during the pandemic, but the process with Allison was very easy! She helped us sort out the if's, and's, and but's. I stress very easily, but Allison made me always feel at ease at every meeting. The day of my wedding, I walked in and almost started crying because our room was perfect! It was a GAY wedding, so i of course chose the theme to be PRIDE. I would highly recommend this location to anyone, because there are multiple rooms and multiple locations within this building! They do the best work possible for each and every event they hold! They go above and beyond and it felt amazing that they turned my dream wedding into reality.

When it came down to the actual wedding day, Jacob (Event Manager) and the rest of the the team, made it an absolute cake walk by making sure all our needs were met. The decorations they set up looked perfect and as we envisioned, and the teardown also went smoothly thanks to their help. They truly went beyond our expectations, and we truly appreciate everything they did to make our wedding day truly unforgettable.

rtunities for stunning photos. Would definitely get married there again, but there were a few things I think they could improve. Our sales manager (Madison) was amazing, super responsive to email, and very organized. I loved working with her and thought she did an amazing job. I had a specific extra vendor I wanted to bring in and she helped make it happen - I really appreciated her. Other great things - the brunch was amazing and as mentioned, the venue was gorgeous. I didn't mind getting ready elsewhere but with access to the venue being permitted only 2 hours beforehand, there really isn't time to get ready on site - for the bride anyway. My husband got ready there and it worked well for the guys. I loved the idea of an event coordinator for the day of the wedding, but I didn't meet her until that morning and she was very absent during our event. We had a couple issues with décor not being set up despite dropping things off the day with everything's intended locations labeled and she was nowhere to be found. My mom had to run around for the hour before the ceremony directing people where to put things, which we'd thought would be handled by the venue. We had asked for the ceremony flowers to be moved inside to frame the sweetheart table and when my sister went to find the event coordinator, she was told that "wasn't her job" and that we needed to do it ourselves ... which meant my maid of honor carried them inside. The DJ and the photographer ended up being much bigger helps to make the day go smoothly. It was still a great day, but wouldn't rely on the "event coordinator," which is pitched like an extra service, to help with much at all. They did say specifically that the day-of coordinator won't help with processional, ceremony, etc, but we expected more help with the things I'd specifically discussed with the sales manager beforehand. She'd had a Friday wedding the night before ours and maybe she was tired, but it definitely felt like she didn't care much about how our event went. If I did it again, I would probably still get married at the Carriage House, but I would definitely have either hired a separate day-of coordinator to help make sure things went smoothly or to introduce a specific meeting the week of the wedding with the event coordinator who is scheduled the day of the wedding.

. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the three people, as things we had discussed during the rehearsal dinner didn’t end up happening on the wedding day. We also had an issue with pricing in our final statement, where they tried to raise prices over 25% from our initial booking, when our contract stated a 10-12% raise at most. When our decorations were being packed up for the night, they broke one of my signs to fit it into the bins I provided (they are mailing me a check to resolve that issue), and threw my arch drapes into the bins without folding them. The venue itself is gorgeous, beautifully maintained grounds and clean facilities. Our wedding went well, but mostly thanks to vendors such as the photographer and DJ. I didn’t even see my coordinator from Manor House more than one or two times my entire wedding day. They also don’t let you onto the property until 2 hours before your wedding, so as a bride, getting ready at the venue is not an option.

, they were right nearby to handle any needs we had, and their positive attitudes made for an absolutely perfect day. Planning our 200+ person wedding was easy and straight-forward. The venue also made for the prettiest pictures inside the venue and outside. Great aesthetic, great staff, great food. Wouldn't change a thing. Highly, highly recommend!

ng-after brunch the next day. Shannon was incredible to us and made us feel so important and cared for throughout the whole process. She honored our budget and helped us make decisions. She wanted our day to be about us and did a phenomenal job bringing our dreams to reality! We got married outside at the Carriage House and the interior was decorated perfectly. Everything was so smooth from start to finish. I loved that we didn’t have to go from ceremony to pictures to reception at different places. It was easy to just arrive and know we’d be there for the remainder of the day. We had stations (pasta and bbq) and everyone had something they could enjoy. Our bridal attendant did a beautiful job making sure that we were taken care of. I didn’t have a worry in the world when working with the Manor House. I truly couldn’t recommend it enough!

My daughter's wedding and reception was at the Carriage House on a Friday evening and then we had brunch on Saturday morning in the Atrium. Both venues were unique in their own way and received nothing but the highest praise from all guests. The brunch on Saturday was INCREDIBLE and the food, chefs and decor were AMAZING! A special thank you to Shannon for all your time and efforts in making my daughter and son-in-law have the most fabulous wedding. The food prepared by Manor House was very tasty and beautifully served. The decor (plates, silverware, table cloths, napkins, furniture, etc.) provided by Manor House is very beautiful. The staff was very friendly and professional. Their organization and professionalism are top-notch! The staff takes the extra mile to customize the event to the couple's liking and taste and to make the couple and guests feel very special! I am so happy we chose Manor House as our venue! what they entail. (They entail a lot!) Many venues do not allow outside catering, but the Manor House allowed us to cater from an outside Indian restaurant. We were even able to have the groom ride in on a horse outside the venue! Our wedding coordinator Allison was the best! She was so kind and lovely to work with. She was extremely helpful every step of the way. She was very supportive during our stressful wedding planning journey. She is very knowledgeable about South Asian weddings and events. I do not live in Ohio. Allison worked closely with my mom in person and me virtually to ensure I would have the perfect day. On our wedding day, we did not have to worry about a thing. We just enjoyed our day and the Manor House executed everything perfectly! We will cherish our wedding day forever!

ould possibly need on the day of our wedding, we each had a room to get ready in, and we were able to have our ceremony and reception at the same location. The food here is absolutely top notch. We went with a buffet, and while many buffets have issues with food being too bland or dry, that wasn't the case here. The food was amazing, and many people commented on it in a positive manner. All in all the ambiance, service, and goods were amazing and we could not be more happy.

he perfect place to take pictures. My photographer and videographer could not stop gushing about how amazing the property was. However, the beautiful property is not even the best part about Manor House. The entire staff was so organized and helpful. We primarily worked with Shannon (who is absolutely amazing - I am so sad that my wedding is over because I won't be able to work with her anymore) and she was always so kind and willing to answer all of my many questions, especially in the midst of uncertainty regarding COVID-19. She was so kind and was so willing to let us come back 3 times to look at table cloth samples when my mom and I were indecisive - we ended up sampling over 10 table cloths, not including the different napkins we looked at, and Shannon was more than happy to accommodate us and order more samples for us! Manor House took care of anything and everything we needed - they had so many people on staff specifically for my wedding so everything went smoothly and everything was taken care of. I was hesitant to book Manor House at first because they can be on the pricier end, however they do more than any other venue I looked at. I actually believe I would have spent more if I booked a cheaper venue because they don't do as much or provide as much as Manor House. Plus, I had total peace of mind that they would take care of everything leading up to my wedding and during my wedding, which is priceless. On top of all of this, the food is phenomenal and my family and friends didn't have to stay late after my wedding to tear everything down because Manor House does set up and tear down. Manor House is worth every single penny and I recommend them to every single person who is looking for a reception venue. Even my dad, who is frugal and doesn't like spending money, agrees that Manor House was amazing and worth every single penny. You won't regret booking Manor House.

15 months before our wedding. In that time frame, we had 3 wedding coordinators, as the first two coordinators we had, left their positions. This had me feeling a little panicked as I was worried things would be dropped, but Danielle did a good job keeping on top of things and coordinating with all of our vendors for our wedding day. The food was great and we got lots of compliments from our guests. We knew and accepted when we signed the contract that we would not be able to take home any leftover food or sliced cake, but this rule still bothers us as it food that we paid for. We know there was a lot of leftover cake that people did not eat, but the event staff sliced the entire cake so we did not get to take any leftovers.

forgettable experience. Despite dealing with COVID restrictions, The Manor House was able to deliver a high quality event and made navigating a pandemic wedding as comfortable as possible. Venue staff put our needs first, and they were extremely attentive and flexible. Shannon was our venue contact. She was absolutely delightful to work with. Shannon was responsive, polite, and assisted greatly as an industry liaison. She was certainly a major contributor to the success of the event. We had several unanticipated changes the day before the wedding. The Manor House worked with us to create an outcome better than previously planned. We believe this showcases the venue’s ability to pivot quickly while providing quality service.

Our guest not only felt safe with all that is wrong with the world but had an unbelievable experience thanks to all of the amazing staff here. I would not go anywhere else for such an important day. They were spot on. The were willing to answer our millions of questions during this pandemic and went above and beyond for us to offer safer options to for our guests. We received so many compliments...............and I cannot wait for the pictures.

The Manor House (and especially Shannon!) were great with keeping us updated with what was going on and how things would look different because of virus precautions. We were one of the first weddings to happen once things started opening up (June 13), and everything was beautiful. I'm so glad that we got to have our dream wedding despite all the uncertainty leading up to it, and the Manor House was instrumental in making our perfect day happen. We had our ceremony in the atrium and the reception in the crystal ballroom. The staff was friendly, the venue was BEAUTIFUL, and I have heard nothing but positive reviews from our guests. We would highly recommend this venue. We love you Shannon and we love the Manor House!
