Marc Friedlander Classical and Spanish Guitarist

Marc was even better than we had hoped! He was just the touch we were looking for at our ceremony, dinner, and the beginning of our reception. He arrived early and stayed late, and was so gracious from start to finish. His musical skills are impressive, and his repertoire includes a range of Spanish guitar and classical music that made for a most pleasant ambience. We truly enjoyed having him be part of our special day and would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a guitarist!

Sometimes people underestimate the power of music. When we are absorbed in a suspenseful scene out of a movie, we are not consciously aware of the background music that adds so much to the mood. The same held true at the renewal of our wedding vows for our 25th anniversary. When we walked down the aisle for this occasion, we were accompanied by the brilliant guitar work provided by Marc Friedlander. His contribution to the setting is subtle, but not lacking the importance and credit it deserves. Marc shows amazing versatility and ability to adapt to the needs and wants of the wedding planners. He handles these important decisions with the utmost respect and professionalism. His technical ability is superior and his fingerwork, mesmerizing. He knows how to set just the right tone for the appropriate parts of the wedding. Marc played during our cocktail hour also. His song selection was impeccable and his execution equally pleasing. If you are in the market for someone to handle live music for your wedding, look no further. Marc is the man who will get the job done so you can truly enjoy your special day.

Marc played at our wedding and it was so beautiful! The song I entered to was Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by JS Bach and i'll never forget walking down the aisle. We got married on the edge of Lake Tahoe and the only thing that was as magical as the setting (and my husband) was Marc's playing. Marc's repertoire is really big, so we had a lot of wonderful choices, that included traditional wedding songs, but also many others. Marc also played for the guests before we walked down the aisle, but I didn't hear that part. Others said it was beautiful. :) Marc is easy to work with and an extremely skilled musician. I would recommend him to anyone looking for beautiful guitar and a lovely person to work with.

His repertoire was huge, so he was able to play our favorite pieces. He has a lovely sound, a very calming presence, and was a great addition to our ceremony. He played for the guests before the ceremony and after. It really made our day so much more special.
