Marci and Kenzie were wonderful! So much experience and knowledge and advice. Great personalities and fun to work with.
I hired Marci to help with the last two months' of planning the wedding and to run the rehearsal and day-of activities. She was a rockstar! I appreciate that I could also reach her as soon as I signed the contract for monthly calls and weekly questions by email, and this turned out to be a perfect cadence for me. As a bride planning most of the wedding on my own, I consulted Marci for questions that I needed some guidance on. On the wedding day, she and her associate were instrumental in making sure the wedding day went off without a hitch. As far as I can tell, it went perfectly smoothly, and if there was ever a problem, I didn't know about it (which is how it should be!). The value of an effective wedding coordinator/planner cannot be overstated, and I am so glad I decided to work with her.
Marci was great with allowing us to set up a hybrid planning package with her. While we had researched and picked our vendors beforehand, Marci was very helpful with picking up where we left off with the smaller details we had not even thought about or considered. She took our Pinterest boards and did the research and spent the time with us to help make it a reality. On the day of she was amazing at keeping us on schedule, checking in with us and making sure everything was taken care of. We could not have pulled off our special day without her!
Marci is kind, organized, thoughtful & cares about your day just as much as you do. I could not have asked for a better wedding planner to go through every tiny detail of our day with - watching all of the countless emails, inspo photos, & planning sessions come to life better than I could have ever imagined was truly amazing. She was there with us ever step of the way, keeping our goals & vision at the front of it all, even when the need to pivot day of happened. And as if creating the perfect day wasn't enough, she made sure the day itself was smooth & flowed perfectly to ensure we didn't have to worry about a thing. Thank you Marci! We 100% could not have done it without you.
Would recommend Marci in a heart beat! Patient, caring, and above all - understanding. She is your guide, liaison if you will, to bring your vision to life. She is like a warm hug in the middle of beautiful chaos. Marci went above and beyond to make our day and our journey special. She had connections with the best people in the business. 10/10 experience. Hire her, really, you will not regret it.
Marci was super helpful throughout our wedding planning process! She was resourceful, supportive, reachable, and had a wonderful attitude - always positive and optimistic! She really helped us find our vision and assisted with bringing all the necessary vendors together to make it happen. I would highly recommend Marci if you are looking for a planner as well as a friend throughout the process! 😊
If you're looking for a problem-solver hustler, this is not the fit for you. I know the wedding industry was, and still is, very crazy because of COVID, but we could really sense it & we felt more like a burden that added to her chaos rather than a working/professional relationship. When I asked her if her company provided steamers for the day of she responded that that was only for “full wedding planning clients”. While it’s perfectly fine for certain “services” to not be available to us because we were “month of” clients, we found that answer rather unprofessional. She could have said no, we don’t provide that service or no, but for an additional fee we can do it. Instead, we were left feeling “less than” & that because we were not full wedding planning clients we were not receiving the same level of care/guidance/attention. It might have seemed like a small comment, but it really influenced everything else moving forward. In the month leading up to the wedding lots of issues began to arise with the venue, county, etc & we felt like we came to her for help with these issues, but instead we were the ones constantly coming up with the solutions & problem solving. We felt it should have been a bit more collaborative or problem-solving on her part as our coordinator. The DJ, Bar and the catering company became our saving grace. They were constantly checking in, helping us problem solve, & reassuring us that everything would work out. They checked-in more than our coordinator & that didn’t sit right with us. We had discussed her arriving early on the wedding day to help with the coordination of the setup, but as we didn't want to pay so much more for additional hours, Marci suggested 2pm. I mentioned multiple times I was concerned about that late of an arrival since we needed to schedule all the vendors at very specific times due to the venue, but it seemed like arriving earlier just didn’t work for her & almost like we were being ignored. With a 2pm arrival, my father-in-law & husband spent the entire morning/afternoon setting everything up. Even our DJ arrived in the AM & stayed throughout the day (without charging extra) helping out & giving his input. They also didn’t have as much detail as she did as to how everything should be so up until I had to start getting ready, I was running around the house answering everyone's questions about where things should go etc. So stressful! The lights in the reception area ended up being entirely too bright & this is something that as a wedding coordinator should have been handled. She was the only person who saw the room prior to everyone entering at night & should have noticed that the lights were too bright for the space. When we called the lighting company the next day to let them know, they said they had someone in the area & could have come by to fix. It’s a shame that such an integral part of the decor could have been fixed. Additionally, the way the florists had set up the greenery in the tent & my bouquet (which wasn't brought to me until right before walking down the aisle) were not at all how I had asked, which were in the pictures in the AislePlanner app that I was told to do. Things like that shouldn’t have happened especially considering how much emphasis was placed on AislePlanner & uploading/filling out so many things. Overall, we just felt like too many things slipped through the cracks & were left with regret in spending part of our budget on a coordinator.
Where to start! Marci was everything I could have imagined for a wedding planner and more. First and foremost, she knows what she is doing, and second, she is simply a great person to be around and talk to during such a personal part of your life.
As many others, we had to postpone our wedding a whole year and our original venue was sold and under new ownership, which changed many things for our day. Marci really led the way making sure we were still getting everything we wanted, despite these changes. Throughout the entire planning process she was one step ahead on everything. She was so well connected to other vendors in San Francisco and provided us with amazing recommendations for our florist, band, catering, etc. During all of our calls she was so on top of the right questions to ask (things I definitely would not have thought of but were very important logistically).
On the wedding day, she was such a calming presence, I didn't worry one bit about everything going on at the venue because I knew she would have it handled. Everything went so smoothly and was completely perfect. If anything didn't go as planned, I had no idea and that is for sure all thanks to Marci and her team. Don't even think twice about hiring Marci as your planner.
Marci really helped ground us throughout the process of putting together our COVID-postponed wedding. She stepped in about four months before our postpone date, and quickly got up to speed on what was important to us and showed us her process. Since we were not local, having Marci to coordinate with all of our vendors was so helpful. Most importantly, Marci went above and beyond when the wildfires broke out in the lead up to our wedding date in September 2022. She helped us with what the timing of our decisions should be, and even went to do an in-person tour of a back up venue for us so we could try to preserve our original date and vendors in a new location if Tahoe was not under evacuation. Marci was an organized, reassuring, and friendly presence throughout all of the extreme curveballs that came up during our planning and I would definitely recommend working with her.
Marci is a miracle worker - I 100% recommend hiring her! We retained her services prior to Covid, and when everything went crazy and we needed to postpone, she stuck with us and made us feel reassured. With Marci's help, we were able to have the wedding we always wanted. She's incredibly communicative and prompt in responding. She provided wonderful advice when we had issues with other vendors and questions about etiquette. We opted for for the day/month of service and that was perfect for us; not having to deal with vendor schedules the day of our wedding was invaluable. Everything about our wedding went perfectly, and it was in-large due to Marci's management skills. We couldn't have done it with you!
We had a wedding scheduled for august 2020 which we had hired Marci for as a day of coordinator. Covid obviously led to the wedding being canceled. We initially rescheduled to the following summer which Marci was flexible to do. However our venue again canceled our wedding for the second time. With our hands being tied, we reached out to Marci about the deposit. She was the only vendor that kept the entire $750 deposit we had given her. With the stress, disappointment, and sadness of two cancelled weddings, losing full deposits felt and still does feel awful as we were a couple working on a budget. We attempted to come up with a compromise like we had with other vendors (splitting 50/50) however she did not budge. Talking with other vendors in the Tahoe area, they were very surprised to hear vendors were keeping entire deposits and also didn’t feel it was right. We just wanted to share our experience as we know times still remain uncertain for many couples.
Best Wedding Planner ever! The decision to have Marci and her team was the easiest and beat decision we made for our big day!
Marci came highly recommended by the venue we booked, The Lodge at Tahoe Donner. I am a person who shops around a lot, weighs the pros and cons, but upon meeting Marci for coffee for this very reason I knew instantly she was perfect for us with her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, organization and just sweet kind nature. We decided to go with her "Wedding Management" package; between full wedding planning and day of coordination. Once booked we were setup on AislePlanner to stay organized and collectively see the progress in planning we were making. Such an amazing help!!
I am very easy going person and did a lot of planning over a long period of time, which at times I felt I was not making enough progress as things got closer to the big day. Marci kept me at ease the whole time. The official check in meetings really helped make me feel like I was making the right progress. Meanwhile, Marci was able to point out things we had not thought of. And even met us at the venue to do another walk through, took notes and asked amazing questions. She even handled all the discussions with all the vendors up to the day, which I couldn't be more grateful for!
The weekend of went just as smooth, despite the weather. The rehearsal was a 70 degree day and we had a group of boys and ladies who had been partying all day and yet she was able to quickly and efficiently ran us through walking in/out and the logistics of day smoothly. In addition to that, she organized us to do a dry run of a back up plan in case it rained.
The day of it began snowing for our semi-outdoor wedding. Marci and her team thought of everything ... last minute decor changes, lawn games inside the tent, heaters, layout changes and I was never once worried and yet still thought of us making sure we had our marriage license, adjusting the timeline minorly to allow us to eat, bringing out snacks while doing family pictures in between the snow breaks. Truly she was there every step of the way for us and our wedding guests.
There are not enough great things I can say about Marci and her team. I would not have had a day so gorgeous day with such a surprise weather twist.

One of the best decisions we made was choosing Marcella Camille Events. When starting off wedding planning, I knew it was important to get a planner on board early. I reached out to Marci on Wedding Wire (based on her great reviews) as well as a few other companies. Marci set up a time for a brief call to discuss our vision. At this point, I had already booked a few vendors (venue & photographer) but was still pretty early in the planning process. Marci was so easy to talk to and I know we clicked right away. We decided to go with her "Wedding Management" package which I believe was the middle tier (between full wedding planning and day of coordination).
Once booked, Marci quickly sent us a link to use AislePlanner and had set up a page for us. What an amazing site this was!! It was an extremely organized web platform that had areas for: Timeline/Schedule, Checklist (broken out by due date based on your wedding date), Budget, Notes, etc.
From day one, we could tell this was a great decision! Marci took the lead with looking into vendors that we hadn't quite figured out yet and sending us options/quotes that fit our Vision. Throughout the process, Marci always gave me peace of mind
Our first official "planning meeting" came when Marci came to our tasting with us at West Shore Café (our venue). She was extremely organized and took notes and asked questions that we hadn't quite thought of the whole time.
The next planning meeting was about 6-8 weeks ahead of the wedding (I think) and this is where we really did a deep dive into key outstanding items for the wedding. We did a video call where we ran through the checklist, timeline, and décor.
About a month before the wedding was our "final" planning meeting and we really nailed down the final details. Even when I felt behind, Marci put me at ease with being available and friendly! Marci handled the discussions with all vendors leading up to the wedding and put together an extremely detailed timeline for the weekend!
Now to wedding weekend! Marci handled the rehearsal like a true pro. She quickly and efficiently ran us through walking in/out and the logistics of day of in about 30 minutes or so. Following that, we had a quick décor meeting to run through all items that needed to be set up day of.
Day Of - I didn't worry about a single thing on day of. Every detail was done the exact way that I wanted it and the tables looked incredible! Marci and her team thought of everything - champagne where we were signing our marriage license, adjusting the timeline minorly to allow us to eat, being there every step of the way if wedding guests had any questions. The wedding ceremony started right on time and Marci made sure we were all lined up and ready to go!
I can't say enough great things about Marci and she is definitely the right decision if you want your wedding day to go off without a hitch!
Marci and her assistants were amazing! Marci is extremely helpful and kind and had everything running smoothly. I'm a bit of a control freak, so it says a lot that I was able to relax and enjoy our big day, knowing that Marci and her team had it handled. So grateful to have had her managing our wedding. Marci was a DREAM. From start to finish, Marci guided us through venue selection, vendors, design and managed all logistics. I was not one of those brides who had a set vision for their wedding day, but Marci managed to turn a few pinterest pins into my perfect day. She executed the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended (and my husband would agree!) while working within the confines of our budget. As an extremely indecisive person, it was incredibly helpful to be able to ask Marci “what do you think I want” and for her to quickly provide an answer. It is also a testament to how well Marci gets to know her clients and how she can predict the needs and wants of her brides.
On the day of, Marci managed the set-up and vendors so smoothly I felt like I could truly enjoy my day and not stress about any of the details. From bustling my gown, making sure snacks were readily available, and finalizing all décor details Marci managed to somehow always seemed to be there when I needed her while also making sure everything went seamlessly. I have attended a lot of weddings that do not start on time and she managed our timeline perfectly. I cannot say enough nice things about Marci, my wedding would not have been the same without her, and if you are thinking of hiring her do not hesitate!!!
Marci and her team did an amazing job helping to coordinate our wedding. Marci helped me throughout the planning process to think of all the details and make sure nothing was overlooked. She was encouraging, calm, thorough, helpful, and very organized. Her help throughout planning reassured everyone that all the details were taken care of.
Marci was also my day-of coordinator, and I cannot emphasize enough how helpful she was. Everything went off without a hitch on our wedding day; nothing was overlooked. She took care of everything, making sure no one felt any stress. One of the biggest things was timing - everything was on time, and the entire day progressed seamlessly.

I am incredibly happy I hired Marci to be my day-of coordinator! I had most of my wedding planned and foolishly thought I could handle everything the day-of, but as my wedding day drew near I quickly realized I would not be able to manage! After consultation with Marci, I knew she was the perfect person to coordinate my wedding!
Leading up to the wedding Marci was a huge help! She had great tips and suggestions to help make the wedding go smoothly. She was extremely thorough and was genuinely interested in making sure everything was what we wanted.
The day of the wedding Marci was fantastic. She handled all vendor interactions making sure our cake was delivered and the music was set up and ready to go. Marci also placed entryway and table decorations and she also set up the dessert table. The reception area looked amazing, Marci really understood my wedding vision and made it come to life.
Marci is extremely organized and prepared for anything. During the reception, I spilled red wine on my husband and Marci came to the rescue with a stain remover pen! She was able to get the stain out and no one noticed! She was the unsung hero of our wedding and relieved so much stress. Without Marci, I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy my wedding like I was able to. You can’t put a price tag on that.
Working with Marci was wonderful and I highly recommend her to anyone who is getting married!
Planning a wedding is tough. Finding someone you trust to help plan every detail of your wedding is even tougher. Its hard for me to find the words to express how grateful and appreciative I am towards Marci. She was amazing, professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful. I found Marci online after researching for days. She set up a phone interview with me and asked if I wanted to meet in person. I said no because just from the sound of her voice and our conversation, she had me sold! Marci was so quick to respond and tend to every need I had and did way more for me than helping me plan my wedding. She was a source of comfort and reliability throughout the whole process and I can't recommend or thank her enough!!
Marci was incredible, hands down the best event planner I've ever worked with. I am sure as heck not a "Pinterest bride," and hardly had any big details secured the very first time we met each other. She had wonderful ideas but was never pushy, and she was such a help in processing through and thinking about all the final details. On the day-of, everything went perfectly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Would absolutely recommend her services to anyone getting married who is overwhelmed by the planning process.
Marci was amazing! I wish I could leave more than 5 stars for her! She made the process of planning our wedding perfect. She was so helpful, organized, and an overall joy to work with. There was not one single problem throughout our day, and I know it was because Marci scheduled our day perfectly and paid attention to every single detail of the day. I had so much fun working with her and was so so so so happy that she was a part of our day. At each meeting she offered insight on multiple details that made me feel at ease and helped me make final decisions, which I am so grateful for. I will always recommend Marci to brides needing a planner!
I am in the military and live out of state, and was having to plan my wedding via emails, Facetime and text messages with my family. The stressful months of planning all came to an end when Marci became a part of the picture. She was warm and confident, answered my questions immediately and reassuringly, and I knew from then on I had nothing to worry about. Marci took everything I wasn't sure about and made a beautiful day-of plan for the wedding. I like to have everything planned and executed smoothly, and I was definitely worried about making this a possibility without being in-state to work things physically. When I finally came into town the week of the wedding, everything I thought I needed to do was done. Marci worked her magic during the rehearsal, and on my wedding day, brought me back to reality when I was losing my mind with nervousness. I asked Marci multiple times that day, "What's the schedule again?", and she was always right there to keep me on cue. Marci had everything taken care of, which made my wedding one that our guests continually said was the "best wedding they had ever been to."
I loved having Marcelle Camille Events a part of my day, and I woudn't want anyone else there if I had to do it all over again.

Our daughter's wedding day, 7/23/17, at Tilden Park in Berkeley, CA was beyond amazing & we're so thankful ! Most of all, our daughter & her fiancé ( now husband) seemed to thoroughly enjoy their wedding as well! They'd done so much on their own to plan & prepare for their wedding & we wanted them to enjoy it!
Marci was essential & a key to all of our enjoyment of the wedding day & rehearsal !
I didn't realize how busy I'd be on the day & was so glad I could tell people to check with Marci! I also knew that I didn't have to look at the time or wonder what was next , etc as I knew she would take care of it!:) They dealt with everything ( caterer , tables & chairs set up, decorations set up, flowers , arch, etc.) Marci & her assistant , Taryn, were THE BEST!!!! I could list countless ways they helped this be a fabulous never to be forgotten 24 hours , from a well organized, yet fun, rehearsal to our leaving after the wedding reception.
They also picked up all our decorations & flowers from our home after the rehearsal , so on the wedding day we weren't involved in set up or bringing anything but ourselves & the bride :) In addition, after the reception they organized our team of volunteers in cleaning up & loading our vehicle with all our decorations , gifts , etc. too. That way we could say goodbye to each guest & not rush as our venue had a strict deadline - we only had from 9am- 4pm ( wedding at 11am), so the venue could set up for the next wedding .
Family & friends who volunteered with set up & clean up also said how great Marci was! She's warm, but also organized & efficient . Her goal was to take care of everything so the bride , groom , & both sets of parents could enjoy this once in a lifetime event. She & Taryn truly achieved this goal with flying colors!
Our daughter & her fiancé started planning their wedding a year ago & worked hard to keep costs down . Shortly after their engagement & selection of the venue , our daughter told my husband & I she was thinking of getting a wedding planner & asked what we thought. I asked several friends who had recently been married & were also careful to keep costs down . They all said they regretted they didn't have a wedding planner for various reasons, but mostly because their wedding day was hectic for the bride, groom, & their parents.
We highly recommend Marci! From the beginning, & through our daughter & her fiancé's entire year of planning , Marci went above & beyond ! Truly a pleasure to have her on our team!
5 out of 5 Stars FOR SURE! We loved Marci and the amazing dedicated work she did for us. She went above and beyond before, during, and after all the wedding festivities. She was in constant communication before the wedding... she kept up with the smallest details! Our walk through meeting was 100% un-stressful as she gave us tips and ideas! Our wedding day was an absolute dream, she took care of every single wedding planning thing... and people too! She even held my 2 year old flower girl until it was her time to walk down the aisle... she stepped up the plate on EVERYTHING! I 100% recommend- I felt so comfortable with her and wouldn't have wanted anyone else!
Marci was absolutely AMAZING as my day of coordinator. She went above and beyond, while respecting and adhering to my budget, vision, and my crazy family. Marci was knowledgeable and creative, and put my stresses and mind to ease. I could not have made my dream wedding possible without her. I originally wanted to DIY my entire wedding, and I am beyond grateful that I was able to maintain my DIY feel but without any of the huge stressors. Marci was so easy and fun to work with I could not recommend her more!
